OoC: God mod much? you can't control my character.

IC: "Thank you" Alice said. They call me alice they said. Alice followed the boy. Her walking was a little woobly since she had been living underwater for so long. She had to support herself on John many times. She quickly pulled back her hand as she realized how she was holding him.

 

Brian wiped sweat from his brow as he faced the cyclops. He had never faught a monster before. His phone beeped and he pulled it out. A full sword appeared in his hand. How convenient he thought. He breathed out. No running this time He thought as he ran at the cyclops. He hit away it's hands with his sword hilt and in a flurry of sped ran the sword through the beast's heart. He twisted his sword and pulled it out. The cyclops screamed and fell towards Brian, arms flailing. Brian threw his arms up but the cyclops disintigrated instead. He exhaled in suprise. And walked past the boundries of camp, toward the big house.

also, we all have temporary control of all non-created characters, i.e. Chiron, Mr.D, Zeus, just keep it short, and only for non-important things

 

IC: John noticed she had lifted her hand. "What? I don't mind." John didn't seem to get the picture. Soon they arrived at the Big House, were Chiron was playing pinochle with Mr.D on the front patio. "Hey Chiron, Mr.D." "Why hello John," Chiron replied. "And who is this?" The centaur motioned toward the girl. "Oh, I just found her on the beach. She a daughter of Poseidon, I saw her control water while I was walking by. I don't know her name yet."

 

Nate and Tera were walking toward the Aphrodite Cabin. For some reason, it was taking a loooong time. But they didn't care, they were to busy thinking about they quest. Nate was listening to ACΩDC on his iPod. He loved music as much as he did sleeping, after all his dad was the god of music. Meanwhile Tera was busy planning out the quest. It's unfair. Nate has seen dad twice, but me only once. Nows not the time, I have to plan out the quest. They would take a taxi and goto Manhattan. There they would pose as tourists, not too hard in New York. Grab some I<3NY T-shirts and a Philly Cheesesteak, you were one of them. After they got their disguises, they would head to the Empire State Building. There they would talk to the man at the desk, and if necessary force him to give they key to activate they 600th floor, a.k.a. Olympus. There, they go to the palace, hope Zeus doesn't destroy them, though since the were form his law they doubted it, and find Apollo, Nate and Tera's dad. Then they would get help from him and hope to spend a little time with him.Easy, she thought. And we can be home in time for dinner too. When she had finished planning out their trip, they arrived at the Aphrodite Cabin, and were anxious to go.

Brian was panting when he aproached the porch of the Big House. Brian saw Alice and something happened that had never happened before. She blushed and looked down and Brian had to regain his composure before saying anything. "Um, Some crazy ladies in a taxi dropped me off at your doorstep and I got attacked by a one eyed beast. Oh my dad is Hermes Btw..." Brian said in a rush. He looked at Alice, his heart skipped a beat, and he looked down again.

Chiron nodded, but Diyonisis disregarded the sweaty half-blood and kept playing his game pausing only a moment. "Over there, first cabin on your right." He said pointing to a more circular arrangement of bunk houses.

IC: "Hey, I'm going to go with him. I'll see you later," he said to the mysterious girl. "Hey, wait up!" he yelled to the son of Hermes. Soon John caught up with him, and began to speak. "Okay, those crazy ladies were the Gray Sisters, and you should try to avoid them when possible, they are just plain freakish. An that one eyed beast was a cyclops. Some are good and some are bad. Good ones work in forges with Hephaestus kids like me." He said this with pride, he loved his talents and his Father very much. "And some are bad, and they, well, I guess you already know what the bad ones do. Oh, I'm sorry, i forgot to introduce myself. John, John Davis. SOn of Hephaestus."

Alice gave a small wave to Brian as he walked off with John. He smiled back as he walked over to the cabins. Alice turned to face Chiron and Dionysus. I Am Alice. Daughter of Poseidon. She said in Greek. With a smile she said "And I came to live here on camp half blood." In perfect american accented English. Chiron nodded again. "Well since Percy, we haven't had many Poseidon Demi-Gods so his bunk is sort of empty but its near the center of the bunks. Follow those boys John would be sure to know." Chiron said dismissing Alice. She turned on her heel and got real nervous. The Brian kid was different than any Demi-god she had ever met. She bit her lip as she walked one foot in front of the other. Toward the two boys talking.

 

[A few seconds ago]

Brian turned away from Alice and looked at John. "Nice to meet you, I'm Brian Miller. And do mythical creatures always attack you guys?" Brian tried to recall what he learned in his english class about greek myths. He nodded again when he remembered. So demigods are like Hercules? They have neat abilities and get tested by the gods?" He asked as Alice walked up to them. Brian stopped talking and looked forward. Alice looked forward as well but watched Brian from the corner of her eye. Brian tried to distract himself by looking at John for his answer.

IC: Yep. Well sort of. mostly the gods are to busy to be with us and are away. Some of us see them twice, if your lucky. Usually once but sometimes demigods never see their godly parents. And yes, we do have special abilities, or talents. Me for example, I am partially immune to fire, so I won't burn easily. Also, I'm really good with masonry and a good blacksmith. That means I can use hammers an swords really well, and axes too, and I can make all of them. You on the other hand, are a son of Hermes. You can probably run really fast and steal things easily, am I right?" He noticed the girl coming up besides them but didn't say anything. "as for testing us, kind of. You know how Zeus let echidna live so demigods could have challenges? Well, she had lots of kids, which are monsters. It used to be that monsters couldn't get into camp, but the camp's borders are failing. So now every few days a monster comes in, but we can handle them....for now. I see your not so bad your self at slaying them. Most people can't take down a cyclops for their first monster, much less alone. I'm impressed. Oh, hey! I didn't know you were walking with us!" he said to the girl. "I still don't know your name."

"Alice," she said. "My Father Named me Alice." Brian nodded in comprehension. "Cool name." He said. Alice didn't understand. Her name wasn't cold. But she didn't say that, maybe it was earth humor. Brian looked up at the cabins up ahead. "So do they represent anything?" He asked looking at the cabins. Brian disregarded the cyclops comment. He was sacared out of his mind about that. He still didn't know how it died so quickly but he didn't want to think about it anymore than neccesary.

ooc: I have reserved a zeus and ares demigod spot, and I sent my apps to social slayer, if he does not reply soon tho I will send them to strategist14 since co-hosts can accept apps and accepting your own is agaisnt the rules I think

 

"Well then, nice to meet you Alice. And yes, the cabins represent each olympian god. For instance, the Poseidon Cabin has a fountain in it, or at least thats what I hear. You aren't supposed to go into other cabins than your own. My cabin has a fire pit in it, and the Hermes Cabin is just packed with bunks I think. But don't worry, they're still really cool." John tried to look upbeat, but he just couldn't. He was bored. He was about to stop talking for once but then he saw Nate and Tera going to the Aphrodite Cabin. "Hey guys!" Nate and Tera looked over and waved. The walked over and said, "Whats up?" "These are two new campers, a Hermes and Poseidon. Their names are Brian and Alice, respectively." "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood," Tera said with a smile. She loved new campers. "We were just on our way to go get Dante from his Cabin so we can start our quest." "Your going on a quest?" John asked. "Where?" Nate decided to butt in. "Were going to Olympus to see our father and get some help, and learn what we can do to help the gods an protect camp." "Thats cool," John replied. "Well, I'll see you all later!" he said to the group. Nate and Tera went over to the Aphrodite Cabin, and knocked three times. One...Two...Three.

Damian ran his eyes over the small black stone.

'This is it?' He muttered in his gutteral voice to a dracenae beside him. 'This is it!?'

'Yesss, my lord.' The Dracenae hissed. 'Thisss ssstone shhould grant you accessss through the Door of Orpheussss.'

'And if it doesn't?' Damian growled, irritated by the dracenae's slow way of speaking.

'It willl, my lord.'

He nodded. 'Good.' Damian pocketed the stone, and began walking.

 

Dante walked up behind them.

'Boo.' He said, grinning.

'So, are you guys ready to go?' He asked, his bag already slung over his shoulder. Omega and Zeta were sheathed, his shield was strapped onto his left forearm, and there was a bronze dagger strapped to his right thigh. His magical jacket was flapping slightly in the weak wind.

'To the Empire State Building!' He said, before turning and walking off in the opposite direction.

 

 

OoC: THOUSANTH POST!!! YES!

"Yep," Nate said. "Wait, lets make sure we have everything Tera. Instruments, check. Weapons, check. CLothes, check. Okay, were all set. Lets go!" Nate yelled with enthusiasm. He had always wanted to go on a quest. This was his first, same as Tera. Yep, lets go see Dad, Tera thought. Lets go see Dad. Tera seemed out of it. "Hey, are you okay Tera?" Nate asked. "Hmm? Oh, yeah, I'm fine," she lied. She was actually scared out of her mind, but she didn't say anything. Demigods don't have fear, right? And soon the three Demigods, two Apollo and one Aphrodite, were on their way out of camp. They go to the road and Nate stuck his thumb out, and soon a taxi saw them. "The Empire State Building please, and make it shnappy," Nate said to the cab driver. He chuckled. He loved semi-quoting Casablanca.

he also owns a clay figure of a dragon that comes to life if you offer it something.
