The great Demi-God, Percy Jackson, has fallen to his own desire, the desire to be a normal human. He has given up his ranks as the son of Posiden, and persuaded many to follow him. Camp Half-Blood is all but empty. Zeus is outraged that his children would do this. A new document makes its way amidst the gods, declaring that each god may now mate and reproduce new off-springs. All but the big three are aloud 3 each, and the big three 1 each. So it begins. The gods have done well by themselves, but now something has happened. Hades desire to rule has brought about the worst creature possible. Summoning the power of all of the underworlds dead souls Hades has produced a form. Erebus. The entity of all darkness, the underworld itself, now walks in a humanoid form. You have come to age. You must stop this fierce foe from destroying Olympus, and the earth itself.

Name:Bridger Raihne

Age:15

Appearance:Short, slim. Mother is an Elf so yeah. Pointed ears. Long silky flowing red hair. Earth Brown eyes. Stubby nose, thin red eyebrows. Long red satin shoulder cloak, leather plate-mail chest-piece, Loose brown cloth pants, basic shoes, left armband and right glove crimson red, woven tightly like Kevlar. Quiver covered by cloak, arrows still easily accessible. Bow usually over shoulder. Leather belt with 1 1/2 ft long gray cylinder hanging from side.

Parent: Hephaestus

Weapons: Osage Long Bow, Willow trimmed thick shaft arrows with bronze arrow tips from Mother, Double handed war hammer, thats the cylinder, from Hephaestus.

Magic Items: Bottomless Quiver, War Hammer that can wield the element of Fire, regenerating glove and armband that heal the area they cover over a small period of time.

Bio: Bridger was born to a large faction of wood elves, where he lived and learned to use a bow. He was often much worse with the bow than the others, but had very good control over fire tipped arrows. When he was 13, his mother told him about his father and he took it upon himself that he was to help save earth and Olympus. Despite all odds, he became very fluent with the bow, and learned to forge weaponry. Now, he lives at Camp Half-Blood, where he is the first to arrive, waiting for his newfound brethren to show up and help him save earth.

Name: Maia Essfrai

Age: 14

Appearance: Shorter than most, a bit shorter than Bridger. Thin and scrappy. Straggly long sandy blonde hair, usually kept up. Ocean Blue Eyes, pointed nose and almost invisible thin blonde eyebrows. tight fitted pale white tunic lays over a thin gray undershirt. Denim capris, basic shoes. An uneven silver plated belt hangs around her waste. 2 sword holsters usually with swords in them :P, glowing blue gauntlets. On her back she carries a very unusual weapon, an ancient katana.

Weapons: 2 bronze gladius'. a small knife tucked in her shoe. Ancient Katana, and Heavyset steel gauntlets

Magic Items: An ancient Katana, a gift from her mother. During a large battle in Greece the people of athens looked Athena to save them from the invading chinese. In doing so she received a blessed katana that gave the wielder unimaginable wisdom, because it is made 100% of compact intelligence. Maia has never used the Katana, for fear of its powers being to much to handle. Glowing blue gauntlets, from her best friend, when she died, she left them to Maia and told her of Camp Half blood. She gladly took them. Made of steel, the gaunts pack a heavy punch, and have the ability to change weight and force at the hands of the wearer, get it? Hands! ahaha. Anyways.

Bio: Maia was never a normal kid. She was always smarter than the others, despite her dyslexia. In fifth grade Maia became very good friends with a girl named Olivia, no last name. Olivia understood Maia and helped her through everything. Over time, Olivia became sick with Cancer and eventually died. Before dying however, Olivia gave the gaunts to Maia and told her everything she needed to know, how she was a demi-god, what the camp was, and who her mother was. Maia swore to avenge the death of Olivia, but she has always been puzzled with how Olivia knew so much. Now 14, Maia is on her way to Camp, about to face an even more impeccable foe.

Name: Dante Brimston

Age: 17

Appearance: Tall and slender, Dante has a black jacket, which covers a maroon shirt, and black pants. Dante has bright green eyes, and short dark brown hair.

Parent: Aphrodite

Weapons: Two longswords, called Omega and Zeta. Omega is pure white, and Zeta is pitch black. He also has a circular shield which is half white and half black. Depending on which blade he's using, either the light side will darken, or vice versa.

Magic Items: A canteen of water that never empties, and his jacket can turn into a set of silver armor, which changes colour depending on which blade he is using at the time.

Bio: Dante is one of the oldest of his generation of demigods, and he's very skilled with his blades. Dante has a younger brother named Jonathon, but he hasn't seen Jonathon for years. As a child, Dante also had a friend, nicknamed Mace, but Mace moved away, and they lost touch.

Name: Damian Shaadler

Age: 16

Appearance: Damian is tall, with a medium build. All of his clothes are black, with a black jacket hanging open over his black shirt. His hair is black, and his eyes are a dark grey.

Parent: Hades

Weapons: a widesword and javelin, both made of Stygian Iron. He also has several mortal steel knives, and a submachine gun with both celestial bronze and mortal steel bullets.

Magic Items: N/A

Bio: Damian, like his father, wants to rule Olympus. He is helping Hades destroy demigods who attempt to stop Erebus, and his powers are very useful in this respect

Appearance: A young man who is very tall, skiny always wearing yellow. He has blue eyes, blonde hair and always wears converse allstars, period.

Weapons : bow&arrows and a 1 foot dagger

Other magical items: guitar that can enchant animals to do your bidding (as long as its safe of course)

Bio: Nate is a troubled kid that just got into camp. He made a few friends but is still very shy, and somewhat afraid. He came from Chicago, a big city where he got bullied and harrassed. His mother died in a car crash a year ago and had to live with his godparents. He doesnt know what exactly is going on, only that it can't be good. He just hopes that he can be ready when the battle begins. He's great as music of course, since his father is Apollo. He plays several instruments and is always practicing archery, which he stinks at. He wants to be exactly like his dad. He gets nervous around girls, just like any teenage boy, and is hoping to get a girlfriend. He just recently met his twin sister tera, who is helping him learn archery, while he teachs her music.

Bio: Tera is Nate's twin sister. They did not know about each other until they met at camp, before everyone left. They were separated at birth, for reasons unknown, and are know very close. They don't go anywhere without letting the other know first. Unlike Nate, Tera is good at archery but stinks at music, but is getting help from Nate. Tera grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has no accent, but likes the food there more than most people. As a small child, she lived in an Orphanage until found by the Racings. Then when she was 13, she got separated from them in New York when they were hiking, where she stumbled into camp and met Nate, where their Father Apollo Appeared before them and told them they were siblings.

ooc: I was just about to post when you did...

IC: Dante stabbed Zeta (Way better name than Nightslayer), and plunged it through the dracenae, watching it disintigrate into nothingness, as he swung Omega around, through the head of another. 'D*mmit, with Hades betraying Olympus, now monsters are everywhere!' He swore, narrowly avoided a blow from a H*llhound, then stabbed both blades through the beast's muzzle. Dante dodged an attack from another hound, but then got clipped in the back of his knee with a spear from the third dracenae. Dante fell to the ground in pain, but continued waving his black sword around in an attempt to hold back the remaining four monsters.

Tera and Nate both saw Dante in trouble. "You take those two, I'll get these!" Tera yelled at her brother. Nate shot and arrow through a dracanaes head and watched it explode, right before he slit the neck of another with his dagger. Tera shot an arrow straight through a dracanae and into a hell hound. Then she took aim, and fired again at the hellhound. Soon there was a lot of dust around them. Both of the sun gods children were panting heavily. "You ok Tera?" Nate asked. "Yeah I'm fine, what about you?" "I'm alright." They both went over and helped Dante on his feet. Nate put Dante's arm around his shoulder and helped him regain balance. "So how are you big guy?"

Bridger sat alone at camp. He knew something was up though. All of the people had started flooding into the camp, filing up the cabins. Bridger had gained a new bunkmate, Raphael. They were the only 2 occupants of the cabin, but Bridger was okay with it. Even with these happy-go-lucky people all zooming around with big smiles and warm welcomes, Bridger still sensed some type of disturbance. He hopped off the picnic table he sat upon, and wandered towards his cabin, where Raphael was just finishing his unpacking. "This is the life i tell ya!" Raphael's heavy Brooklyn accent nearly shook the cabin. "Yeah," Bridger agreed. "Yeah i guess it is." As Raphael left the door, Bridger stopped him. "Do you uhh, do you feel something?" With an odd look Raphael replied. "No, i ain't sure what ya talking about but i'll be at the forges if you need me aight?" Bridger nodded and fell back onto his bed. He closed his eyes and dreamed.

 

Maia flew through her cabin door with finesse. She had been waiting for this all her life, people of equal intelligence, understanding. She would have never lost her smile had she not spoke with he bunkmate. Her name was Olivia, and Maia knew it wasn't the same Olivia. Tears nearly came to her eyes as she sat on her bunk. 'Oh well, c'mon Maia this is nothing, theres monsters to battle and inventions to tweak!' she thought to herself. As she stood up, she tipped her bag off of the top bunk, and if fell with a start. She had chipped one of her gladius'. 'Time to make a trip to the forges.' she thought somewhat glumly.

'I'm good.' Dante shook some of the dust out of his face. 'The knee is a very dangerous target, I've heard. And I wasn't even wearing armor, 'cept for my coat.' His jacket reformed out of the platebody he had been wearing. 'Gods, we've really got a problem here, if Hades keeps sending these monsters after us, we'll never be able to hold out.' He sighed, then reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a bag of slightly squished ambrosia squares, then he ate one, and his leg stopped bleeding. 'Yeah, I'm fine.' He said, standing up, then he started limping towards the Cabins.

 

When Maia came to the forges, she saw that they were completely empty, except for one boy. Damian had a mortal knife and a bronze knife, and was experimenting to see if he could create a weapon similiar to Luke's BackBiter, which would affect both mortals and monsters. So far things weren't going well, but Damian continued to try.

Bridger woke up, he checked the large gear-changing clock against the opposite wall. He had only been asleep for a few minutes. As he stepped outside of his cabin door, he noticed an older boy in a jacket munching on an ambrosia square. 'Long time since i ate, i'll head to the forges and see whats going on, then up to get some dinner.' As Bridger passed the limping boy he noticed the two monotone blades. Bridger's wits kept him from making a remark to the older boy, but it didn't go without saying there was some tension between the two.

Dante noticed Bridger's interest in his longswords. 'Equal opposites.' He explained. 'White and Black. Omega and Zeta. They're equal in every way, and they're also exact opposites. Stygian Iron and Blest Steel. And I'm ambidextrous, meaning that they're both exactly equal, even to the skill I wield them with.'

 

Damian saw Maia walking into the forge, and he guiltily hid his two knives in his pockets, then scowled to himself. Yes, because people care more about the fact that you're making a multicoloured knife than the gun strapped to your back. He rolled his eyes. Because nobody considers it a good idea to use modern weapons, even if it still uses celestial bronze.

Bridger continued walking, but the swords had not left his mind. He approached the forges, where he saw a girl with a bronze gladius, and a tall older boy with what looked like an UMP45 on his back. Bridger questioned "You need something missy?" Maia responded quickly, as if the gun startled her as much as it did him. "Yes, well i chipped my gladius, and i was wondering if i could get a new one or if it was repairable or..." Before she could finish her sentence, Bridger had already gone to the sword rack and grabbed a replacement. "This should do for now, until i get this one fixed." He handed her a silisium short sword. It was a darker shade of gray but was also not curved near the top. Maia thanked him, sheathed the blade, and left. Bridger, now free of responsibilities, questioned the SMG wielding teen. "Uhh, buddy. You need something?"

'Hmm? No, I'm good.' Damian replied darkly, then he went back to work on his dagger. The metals had softened sufficiently, so Damian began to craft them together, using a pair of heat-resistant gloves he had snatched from the cleaning harpies. His eyes narrowed as he got an idea, so Damian set the mortal iron thin and sharp, then dipped it in a barrel of water, where it bubbled and cooled. Damian pulled it out, then began shaping the celestial bronze around the steel core, putting the remaining steel he hadn't used into a personalized bullet casing, which he dipped into the same barrel, and the small mass of the molten steel became a bullet, which Damian slipped into his pocket. He turned to Bridger, as he dipped the now completed dagger into the water. 'I don't need anything you can help me with.'

Bridger smirked. "Alright then, well how about we head up to dinner, first day back for school kids i am sure you are hungry too. Bridger set down the chipped gladius and followed Damian back up the hill to dinner.

 

Maia had stopped back at her cabin to drop off her gauntlets. She wanted to try the new sword, using her own powers. As she approached the dueling ring, she paused. 2 boys were already in a skirmish. She moved aside, and wandered towards the smaller ring where a young boy was sitting. "You need someone to fight kid?" asked Maia impolitely. It was odd of her to act out like that being Athena's daughter and all. The kid sobbed. "No." He sniffled and said "I just got here and no boys will challenge me because i am to good." Maia chuckled. "Your full of yourself, I'm a girl and i can probably beat you." The boy stood up and set his position. He was an Ares son, the way he stood reminded Maia of a book she had read on Ares before she got to camp. Anticipating his first move, Maia struck blindly. The boy flew back a few feet and said, "No fair! I quit!" Another chuckle bellowed out of Maia's mouth. She trotted off to dinner, smiling all the way.

Tera and Nate were about to leave for dinner. They had rested, showered and were wearing clean clothes that didn't have monster dust on them. "Hey," Tera said to Nate,"No matter what you think you did good out there today. "Really?" Nate replied, embarassed. "I thought I just got lucky. It was you who did the dirty work." "Yeah, your probably right," Tera said with a straight face, before both of them broke out laughing. "So, do you still want me to help you with your lyre?" Nate asked her. Now it was Tera's turn to be embarassed. "Oh, well, not really, I guess... Okay." Nate smiled and said "Come on, lets get going. I'm starving." Soon they arrived at the picnic tables, where they sat down at the Apollo Table. Nate asked for pepperoni pizza and a root beer. Tera asked for a salad and juice. Almost instantly their food appeared. "It's funny how we are related, yet so different," Tera said. "I know, right?" Nate replied before shoving hir third slice down he throat. "It's amazing." They decided to start the offerings for the Olympians that night. They went over and dumped part of their food into the fire. The Flames rose slightly. They were low, for everyone was sad that so many campers had left. "For Apollo," they said in unison. Tera went to go sit back down at the table, while Nate sat down close to the fire. He pulled out his guitar and started to play 'Beacause' by the Beatles, feeling that the song matched the mood of the campers. It if was possible, the fire got lower, and changed to a deep red. Then, when he was done, he started 'Here Comes the Sun.' Here Comes the sun, doo doo doo doo. Here Comes the Sun, and I say, It's all right." Soon the fire rose, and began to turn into a brighter, more friendly color. He finished and said, "Thats more like it."

Bridger sat down at the Hephaestus table. Raphael was on the other side with a few of the last minute arrivals. Bridger sighed and stared at the roaring fire. Nate had done a good job. Bridger ordered himself a bowl of ramen noodles. After dumping half the broth and a third of the noodles in the fire, it sprang up even more. "Hephaestus." Bridger stated without emotion. As he ventured back to his seat he bumped into Maia, who was also returning to her table. "Sorry, I uhh" Maia shushed him. "No need, it was an accident. Hey, didn't i see you down at the forges?" Bridger grinned. "Yeah, i gave you that replacement blade." Maia looked up at the sky and with a puzzled look she tapped her forehead and said, "I knew it. Look at the constellations. They are moving east, but like the gods, the constellations move to the west." Bridger made a face, a how-did-i-miss-this-wow-finally-i-understand face. "Today i had an awkward feeling in my gut, this must be part of it. Something is happening and it isn't good. The only way to shift the constellations patterns is to remove Zeus from duty. It's not like he would be on vacation." Lightning struck. Rumbles of thunder followed another bolt. Maia stared at Bridger. "Quest time."

IC:Nate went back to the Apollo where Tera and some other Apollo demigods started clapping. Nate got serious and took a bow, and and then smiled and laughed. "Thank You, Thank You!" He sat down next to his sister and started to eat his favorite desert, New York Cheesecake. "That was amazing," Tera said as he was eating. "Fank u." Nate replied. "What?" Tera asked. Nate swallowed. "Sorry about that. I said thank you." "Oh! Your welcome. I definetly want to take lessons from you, and in exchange, I will give you archery lessons." Nate grinned and said, "I'd give it to you for free, but ok." He went back to eating his cheesecake, which was for the time being the only thing in his universe. Tera noticed Bridger and Maia looking up into the sky. She went over and looked up too. "So, what you guys looking at?"

Dante finally reached the front of the line, and tossed half his meal into the brazier, saying, 'For Aphrodite,' under his breath. Then he walked back to the Aphrodite table, and started eating, before it started raining slightly.

'What the Hades?' He asked himself, then he saw the group of demigods staring into the sky. 'Hey, you guys have any clue what's going on here?'

 

Damian stared at the darkening sky, grinning slightly, his new dagger in his pocket. 'So it's finally happening.' He said to himself, chuckling slightly, still standing in the forge. It began to rain, and Damian just laughed harder, as the magical barrier weakened to the storm outside, letting in some slight rain. Not much, but it was a start.

'Finally!'
