Crap. I got so addicted to Code Geass, that I totally forgot about YCM yesterday. I'll do two today to compensate for yesterday.

I hated Suzaku. He's should've died so long ago. He got a bit better halfway in R2, but I still don't like him.

Lelouch had lots of chances to use his Geass on his brothers and sisters in order to make everything so much easier for him, but I guess the director(s) held back in order to lengthen the anime more.

I absolutely love C2. I don't know what happened to her after she left for the countryside, though.

Suzaku is alright. I didn't like him because he was against Lelouch as it went on and because he's one of those "strive for hope" characters, but my friend plays a good Suzaku and you need one in every Lelouch set xD

Lelouch wasn't so brilliant. I find him compared to Light a lot, but I feel like Light was more intelligent when going for what he wanted.

CC went somewhere on the carrage or whatever xD People still beleive Lelouch is alive.

Rurusshu is definitely dead, no doubt about that, and so is Raito. I hated Suzaku starting about halfway through R1. He just seemed like a thorn in the grass. It was so annoying seeing him do stuff that would screw up Rurusshu.

Shi-tsu returned to the countryside, possibly where she first formed her Giasu pact. She obviously won't forget Rurusshu, because she practically fell in love with him. But she knew that it couldn't be possible, since Rurusshu had decided not to shed any feelings at all, apart for those with Nanari.

I felt sorry for Roro. Even after he knew he was being lied to the entire time, since he knew that his life had always been meaningless, he still clinged onto the bit of false hope that his time with Rurusshu was everything to him. Even though Rurusshu had planned it out. I really pitied him. He should've totally lived. Even if it meant that Rurusshu would, in the end, kill Roro for being one of things that would prevent Rurusshu from realizing his "dreams" of Nanari's well-being.

I guess that it would've been happier for Roro to die with the happiness of his false hope, rather than seeing Rurusshu killing him with his own cold-hearted hands. Tsk. Roro should've still lived.

The whole theme behind Code Geass is the idea that the tragedy was caused due to Rurusshu's constant reliance on his own abilities and ambitions, and not on friendship.

For Death Note, it was about Raito's constant overconfidence in his own sense of judgement and powers.

And if you've read Elfen Lied (just another random manga out of the blue, since it's also quite dark and has a deep storyline to it), it's about Kouta's misunderstanding of Ruushii's suffering and agony.

And yes, I used roumaji instead of their English-translated names. Just so you know.

Anyways, I forgot yesterday's daily, even though it was constantly on my mind. I just never got around to posting it. So I'll do a double-take today. Today's daily will have to come later, as nothing good's come out yet.

I suppose you're right. But there's this half and half conflict of people who think he's alive and people who think he's done. Entirelly. Although they're making a new season of Code Geass, it's all about Suzaku D;

Ah, but you forgot about Lelouch's father who could've given him the Geass of protective life, or something. Maybe CC is still in contract with Lelouch. I liked CCxLelouch~

Rolo was a cool guy, sure. I also pitied him, but lacked much care as well. He simply confused me for a while, but he grew on me as well. I don't really know exactly what I feel about him, but if he were compared to Suzaku, I enjoyed Suzaku's character more.

I liked how he died~ It was rather... lovely.

Ah, although there are differences, Death Note and Code Geass is always compared. I've never seen Elfen Lied in the mix though x3

Also, the second image is much better than the first D;

But it still looks odd.

Lelouch is dead alright. No doubt about it. Suzaku stabbed him straight through the chest. The only possibility would be if there was an exact duplicate clone of Lelouch, but if it was, we would've seen it as part of his plan.

Code Geass is done. If a new season comes out, it's just another different story. Lelouch of the Rebellion is done and already over with.

Charles, Lelouch's father, stole immortality from V2 prior to his death. He can't pass along immortality to Lelouch, since they never actually made a pact. C2 could've done so, but that would've required her death, which Lelouch denied her from.

It's kind of sad. I've always wanted (since the start) for Lelouch to become immortal and to live on forever with C2, marry, maybe have children (if it's even possible) and stuff like that. But after I found out that in order for that to occur, C2 needed to die, I went omg. Dream shattered.

Anyways, whatever the case may be, I liked C2 the most.

The reason why Death Note and Code Geass is always compared, is because there are way too many similarities. Hell, even the end where Amane is leaving on the train by herself (since Light died) is the same as C2 leaving for the countryside (since Lelouch died).

The only major difference, the type of otherworldly powers, and the usage of robotics in Code Geass.

It's "Suzaku of the Rebellion". It's already announced as the new season of Code Geass. So it's most likely that Lelouch is long dead and done.

And ah, that makes more sense now. I never really understood the whole Geass thing from Lelouch's father.

Ahh, out of all the characters in Code Geass I felt the most sympathy for CC. I feel like her life before and after was quite tragic, and depending where she is now, she still probably has it really hard. I liked her the most too- mainly because all the other girls failed to interest me and Lelouch/Suzaku are just too "out there".

I can't imagine Death Note with Knightmares xD

Crazy things would happen. Crazy things.

Though, I feel like Death Note was more from the mind while Code Geass was more from the body.

If you look at Lelouch of the Rebellion as a whole, the main character isn't Lelouch. It's C2, and her struggle to have her prophecy completed so she could die. The whole story itself revolves around her keeping Lelouch alive, so that her contract could be completed. And even at the end, it wasn't, since her slight affection for Lelouch ended up yielding to his cry for her survival.

If you're looking at a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing, then yes, the main character is Lelouch. But if you're looking at the storyline as an entire whole, then the main character is C2, and her life.

If they don't change Suzaku for that season, I will hate it so much. And if he's coincidentally still pretending to be Zero and is protecting Nunnally as a continuation right after Lelouch of the Rebellion, I will just facecake right there.

Dear God don't make it a continuation of R2. Just don't. I hated Suzaku enough as it was. Just change him up completely.

I'm sure you've probably read the manga for Suzaku of the Rebellion already. I don't believe it was a continuation of R2. I remember reading that they're all different little stories altogether.

Anyways. It would've been terrible for Lelouch if Nunnally really had died from the FLEIA(?). Since it was launched by Suzaku due to Lelouch's Geass, in a sense, Lelouch would've killed Nunnally. So rather than him always trying to save her, he ended up killing her.

But she was saved anyway, so that idea doesn't matter.

I wonder what happened to Nunnally after Lelouch died. She cries, wants to live with Lelouch, but then it's the end. You don't really know what happens after.

And Karen failed. A lot. She knew she liked Lelouch, but just couldn't build the courage to give in to her love. I wouldn't have complained if it was Karen x Lelouch, and C2 was just on the outside. It was a close choice between C2 x Lelouch and Karen x Lelouch.

I remember wanting Karen x Suzaku for a while. Thank God it didn't happen.

What I've always wondered: Why didn't Lelouch just tell Suzaku that his Geass went uncontrolled and he accidentally caused the death of Euphemia and millions of the Japanese? If he had just told the truth, maybe, just maybe, Suzaku may have forgiven him. But, like always, the director probably wanted the anime to last longer, so he didn't take the shortcut, like many other times he could've taken.

Like geez, it's like seeing a hundred dollar bill on the ground, staring at it, and ultimately, just walking away without taking it. What a waste of time earning $100, when you could've just picked it up.

I wouldn't have minded if he had taken all the chances for making it easier for him, and lengthening the anime overall. Probably wouldn't have been too difficult to make an after story for C2, either.

There are a lot of things I am discontented with in terms of the director's choice of actions, but being that it's an old anime now, it doesn't really matter. Hopefully Suzaku of the Rebellion (if it comes out) is better in terms of directive choices.

On a side note: Suzaku's Geass curse was interesting. It was practically like Gundam SEED's SEED, except, you were slightly or fully conscious while it was happening. And Suzaku managed to control it to the point where he could even activate it himself too.

Not entirely sure this was either, posted in this thread, or acceptable since I can't ID, if any, the anime it's from but I'll post it anyway, as it's anime style.

Hmm, I feel like it's half and half of what you said. The other half would be Lelouch trying to take back his country, or something. He led the Japanese to take back Brittania, and that was the basis of what we were watching. Although some could say what you stated to be the side story of what was happening, I feel that you're right in which CC was the main character, but I can't say that her fulfilling her prophecy was the main thing of the story.

I don't mind it being just about CC and her life though. In fact, I wish I could get more of her in the anime. Or maybe a season about her after her times with Lelouch.

I bet you they won't change much about Suzaku. He'll be the same as always, just with a different turn here and there. They can't change Suzaku too much, for that'd make fangirls unhappy. Yes, fangirls. 'Cause they're the priority.

Ha, I forgot there was a manga of that, but I've read little to some of it. Then that's probably the case. It'll get an anime adaption.

I haven't seen Code Geass for a little more than a year, I totally forgot a lot of it. But if there's one thing that I can remember, it's Nunnally's expression when Lelouch died... Painful.

Suicide? Maybe she tells one of the council members to put her out of misery. That's what happened to Misa in Death Note anyway, says Ohba.

They both shared equal times with Lelouch. I think CC was able to kiss him more, though? That doesn't exactly matter, but I see Lelouch more with CC. Just because CC is more helpful towards him and she's what he needs for survival, in a way. Shirley and Karen both annoyed me, but I thought Karen was a little badass. And I entirelly felt bad when Shirley went through that mental breakdown. I was about to kill the computer I was watching Code Geass on.

Karen and Suzaku? xD Okay, they shared one ecchi scene, I believe, but I can't imagine them together. It seems like a crack pairing.

Cause then he'd go to jail? I dunno. I think Suzaku has a higher sense of justice than Lelouch could ever have. So if Lelouch caused a massacre, than so it was. I don't think Suzaku would let it pass.

The director for Code Geass wasn't too bad, though. I've thought many times about what to do to make Lelouch's plan work and what not, but it may interfere with what they were trying to expose in the story. Again, I don't know.

Same director for Suzaku of the Rebellion. Or so I've heard. Maybe he'll fix his mistakes.

Suzaku's Geass curse? Yet again, I forgot something important, didn't I?

C2 really needed more camera time. I expected a lot more from her.

I don't think Misa died in Death Note o_O.

Lelouch used the Geass on Suzaku, and told him to live on forever. Basically speaking, whenever Suzaku would die from a situation, his Geass would kick in and attempt to protect him somehow. Since it was getting in the way of things, it eventually turned out to be a dark curse, since it caused him to do many actions that he did not want to do. His curse is basically the equivalent to Kira or Ashrun's SEED in Gundam SEED and Destiny. But he managed to control it to a certain extent, allowing him to be at least somewhat conscience while it was being used.

Anyways, I'm bored. Here are some random facts about Japan:

About 40% of people in Japan raise pets, and the most popular pet that they raise are dogs.

About 99% of public elementary schools in Japan provide their own school lunches.

People in Japan sleep on average 7.5 hours per day.

Most people in Japan wake up at 6:30 A.M.

About 40% of people in Japan eat bread for breakfast.

It takes about an hour to get to work in Tokyo.

You can't buy envelopes in Japanese post offices. Go figure.

Although 99% of households in Japan have washing machines, only 25% have drying machines.

Most people in Japan watch three hours of television per day.

65% of high school students bring their own bentous to school for lunch.

25% of people in Japan don't eat breakfast, and 60% of high school students eat breakfast alone.

Almost everybody uses a bicycle to get to school, and if school is far away, sometimes people use public transit. Nobody drives to school.

You can get a drivers license when you are at least 18 years of age.

Nah, in Death Note, at the end you see her forming a cult of Kira worshippers and creating a sacred distant burial ritual for him. Some say she looked like she was commiting suicide in the credits, but I never saw it...

Yeah, whenever she wasn't on screen, I was pretty disapointed.

Mia died after Light died, says Ohba in an interview, answering the question "What happened to Misa?". Although her memories of the death note was erased, she still loved Light. Knowing that he died, she supposedly committed suicide.

Ah, I see. That makes more sense of Suzaku.

Wow. Those facts were oddly entertaining for a select period of time.

That wasn't her :P

You failed to read the Ohba interview in "Death Note: How to Read". Ohba says that she's just a figure of worship. Not Misa. The interviewer actually asked if she was Misa or not xD

Anyhow, on the daily; it is cute. Odd... but cute~ I want a cute little sister like that D;
