My same friend loves 1/2 Prince as well. She made me read one of the chapters and it was pretty cool, but it's around the end of my list of manga to read ;____;

I'll look up Ichigo 100% a bit later then~ I'm also trying to read some D.Grayman since I have a friend obsessed with Lavi and it'd be nice to know what she's talking about.

There's so much to read, so little time D; ...That and cosplay takes up most of my life.

1/2 Prince only starts to get cool around like 20 chapters in, when she's all strong and stuff. It is an MMORPG world, so you have to level up and stuff. And it's fun watching her screw around and totally botch stuff.

It gets totally aweshome when Kenshin is introduced, but I'm still waiting for the next chapter T_T.

If you're going to read 1/2 Prince, start now, because the chapters are LOOOOONGGGGGG. Like, REALLY long.

P.S.: You should listen to your friend. He/she seems to totally know all the good mangas to read.

Definitely 1/2 Prince for both. It's so good, I actually feel inclined to buy the actual volumes (since I just read all my manga online) and to meet the author in real life. That's how good it is.

If we're limiting it back to Japan-only manga, hmm. I don't really know. Japanese mangas aren't usually EXTREMELY good (if you know what I mean), but some stand out a bit more than others. I really don't know. Can't really give it to any manga from Japan, because they don't really deserve a reward.

I'd probably hand it to Ichigo 100% for having a good deep storyline, but only if I was forced to. If it's just normal, I wouldn't give an award to any Japanese manga yet. None really deserve to be called "the best" yet.

Naruto and BLEACH are overrated. One Piece is good from what I heard for lasting really long and still managing to stay funny, but I haven't watched/read it before.

Anyway, so yeah. Definitely 1/2 Prince. Definitely.

Ha, so I see. Sounds good from the way I see it. I agree with you about Japanese manga, but I haven't really read "the best" manga in general yet.

I'll surely move 1/2 Prince up on my list to read since you rate it so dearly, but from the manga that I have read, Ga-Rei currently holds me up. But I have a passion for Shakugan no Shana and Death Note.

Though, currently I've been more with anime than manga.

Yeah, all the JP manga that's out can be good and all, but I haven't really read one that's EXCELLENT, as in 100% perfection. They're still all kinda bland and similar.

Isn't Shana and Death Note already done o_o?

I only read like the first two chapters of Ga-Rei. I just found it too awkward for my tastes.

I'm totally into shoujo and just about any other manga that includes romance.

I don't have time to watch animes.

Shana is hella ongoing. Not sure where it stands in the light novels, but the anime and manga are still to be released. There are four Shana volumes out currently. As for Death Note, yup, long and done. Even to this very day, it's amazing.

This is why Ga-Rei -Zero-, the anime, is muuuuch better D;

You'd get a long with my friend. She's like you, totally into shoujo and romantic comedies. I'm into the darker anime/manga so Ergo Proxy and Kuroshitsuji is love to me~

Make time D;

The only ones I'm mainly reading at the moment are Hayate no Gotoku and if I can, I'll squish in Ichigo 100%. And Until Death Do Us Part.

Though, I haven't read a manga for a week or two now. Lots of things I need to do.

I started off reading manga a bit late, IMO. I only started like, two years ago, I believe. You two have probably read mangas for way more years than I have.

Don't bother reading Special A if you are currently reading or are planning to. The ending is really lame.

Until Death Do Us Part is a manga I'd be attracted to from the title. x3

I usually buy my manga unless they don't sell here, and I haven't gotten one for a while either. Though I've read a bit today. Ah, how times can be busy. The weekend seems to help catch up though.

My friend, Robyn, has been reading for three years by now, watching anime for four years. She just has maaaajor time on her hands. I've been watching since the age of three, practically growing up with anime, and have been reading manga for four years.

Yeah, I guess we're way ahead of you ;___;

Gahh, I have the first volume of Special A. I was planning to finish it, but I guess I'll hold it off.

What's your take on Ouran High School Host Club? Robyn practically loves it.

@Lunar Kid: Your loli pic didn't load.

Trust me, don't bother reading Special A. It's one of those mangas, where the author finally gets tired of drawing around like the last 10 chapters, and because he doesn't want to just end it like that, he's forced to keep drawing, and therefore, makes are very crappy and quickly thoughtout ending.

The whole point about Special A is that Hikari throughout the entire manga is suppost to be always striving to be number one, and at the end of the manga, Kei finally proposes to her, but she thinks that if she marries him, she'll be number two, so she doesn't. So lame. Lameeee.

Trust me, don't bother buying the rest of Special A. Just read it online somewhere. It's not worth the money. The ending is just downright cheaply made.

I've only read a few chapters of Ouran, I didn't really start to read it until my friend told me to. The excessive amounts of text and the not-so-great drawings are a big turn off for me, but I think it has potential. I LOVE gender-benders, after all.

I like just about any manga that either is shoujo/gender-bending/romance, or have REALLY REALLY good drawings. As in, REALLY good. For those kinds of mangas, it doesn't matter to me whether or not the story is good, because, if it's good, then great, but if it isn't, then I'm just reading it to look at the beautiful pictures.

Then again, I haven't been reading any manga for almost two weeks now. Just been admiring anime pictures. No time on my hand. I have like two tests per week, so it's kind of hard squishing in time.

Oh and, the last half year, K-ON! has been the biggest craze and fad. It's pretty much dead now. Now, the biggest craze is some anime called DRRR!! Lame name, I know. Check it out, because I won't.

Today's Daily (11 A.M.) is a picture of kawaii Miku~! Yay!

The name the author gave it is very =_=.

"Things like panties aren't needed!"

LAME TITLE.

Lunar Kid; Remilia looks pretty badass there. Sakuya makes good company.

Strawberry-nii-chan; Man, that pretty much sucks. I had pretty good hopes for Special A, and along with that, I loved the characters. The art was kind of nice too, so I wanted to go ahead and finish, but it won't be worth my money or time it seems like =\

Wow, never thought that'd happen. So marrage means that'll place you as number 2 for the rest of your life? x3 Brilliant. Great theme.

You gotta' give Ouran more of a try. Keep reading it when you have time, cause it's pretty damn interesting and funny. Hikaru and Kaoru (sp?) are pretty awesome characters. I just love how they contrast the lives of the rich and the lives of the moderate.

Shoujo is downright amazing~ Gender-benders I could care slightly less for, but Hana Kimi was so good that it brightened my picture on that genre. Romance; Gotta' love it. When it comes to a manga, I look for interesting characters more than most things. After that comes art, then storyline. But to be honest with you, I've never come across a manga (or have gotten far enough in it) that it failed those aspects for me. Kind of like you, I read what my friend recommends, and she only recommends things I'd normally like. Everything besides School Days have been good out of what I've read so far.

Ah, it'll probably be like that for us next year in high school. Robyn and I are just sitting back, getting through school, and slipping in anime/manga time every day we can.

Okay, I love K-ON and still a fan of it. Mio Akiyama holds my attention, since in retrospect, I'm a lot like her o-o

DRRR? As in Dararara? Haven't checked it out yet, but Robyn has and is currently loving it. My friend also gathered clothes to do a Dararara cosplay and I guess I'll be playing the role of "Izaya Orihara", I think.

And about the image of the day; lame title indeed. Cute image though.

Don't think of Hikari rejecting the proposal as a good thing, because, the mangaka probably would've had them get married, but risked having to draw more chapters, so he just ended it there like that. It's actually worse than your think.

DRRR!! seems to be more popular than K-ON! over what I've seen. I guess you're going to have to check it out for me, because I just don't have time to watch anime. You're still young, and still have plenty of years ahead of you. I'm going into university in September. Much different than high school.

Wow, first time I've heard of a lazy mangaka. It's pretty dissapointing really. You start a project out good, you must end it out on the same rate =\

As of now it's more popular. K-ON! use to have so much hype, which it still holds, but I guess Dararara!! is more likable amongst guys and girls. K-ON! seems like only a girl could become a great fan towards it, even though that's not true. I'll check it out and when I do, I'll tell you. I'll have to anyway, since I need to get in character for my friend.

I wish you luck when you enter university. Wow, I feel much younger than you. Like a small child D;

And about the pic of the day; I really love their school uniform. Although it's nothing to unique, it's pretty awesome since their hair stands out against it. Beautiful image~

Not lazy, more like, lost inspiration. He just kinda gave up, and the quality ended up becoming poor. Not in terms of drawing, the anime was still okay, but the storyline just kinda drained.

...why do drawings look so beautiful? T~T

I really love this image. I really do.

And now for today's update (11:50 A.M.):

Now' date=' I don't know who this person is, but apparently she is from K-ON!, so somebody can try to fill me in with some information.

Title: Tada-san

It's Yui at it's closest. Maybe an older and more mature Yui. But if the title is Tada-san... It might be Sawako with a wayyy different hair cut and no glasses.
