OOC: Gah! Things...time-consuming...no time for RP before now!

IC:

It's my turn! I draw, and Summon Mist Valley Radialist! Now, my Field Spell returns him to my hand, allowing me to activate Mist Recoil!"

"Recoil destroys your two facedowns, and Radialist makes Thunderbird a Tuner! Not only that, but I draw a card. Now, I summon Mist Valley Knight! My Thunderbird attacks yours!"

Thunderbird screeched, and soared into the air, before plunging headlong into its doppelganger.

"Now, Knight! Attack directly!"

The knight wasted no time in shooting himself forward, and swinging his rather impressive shortsword at his opponent. He sliced, clean and smooth. (Jake LP: 2700).

"I'll finish my turn by Tuning my Thunderbird to my Knight! The misted winds give rise to a slumbering ancient! His wrath will know no end! Synchro Summon! The obscured ogre, Thunder God of Mist Valley!"

The enormous Ogre worked its way out of the card, giving a loud roar upon its Summon. (2600-->2900)

"I end with a final facedown."

Current field:

_ _ 1 _ _

_ 2 _ _ _ 3

1= Lightning God

3= Typhoon Zone

Hand: 1 card

Grave: 6 cards

If this card is returned to your hand, you can select 1 Level 4 or lower non-Tuner "Mist Valley" monster you control. It is treated as a Tuner as long as it remains on the field. You cannot Summon this card during the turn it is returned to your hand.

Mist Recoil

Counter Trap

Activate when a monster returns to the owner's hand. Destroy 2 Spell or Trap Cards on the field, and draw 1 card. While this card is in your Graveyard, you can remove it from play to return a monster you control to the owner's hand.

Mist Valley Knight

WIND

4/1400/300

This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card battles an opponent's monster, return it to the owner's hand at the end of the Damage Step.

"I activate my Trap Card! Dimensional Prison!"

A giant vortex appeared and sucked Stardust Dragon into it.

"Since your Stardust has been removed from play, it technically hasn't been destroyed, not activating it's effect. And since it has been removed from play, it can't complete its attack, leaving my Endyion safe and sound. It's still your move."

"Oh no... I set this card face-down and end my turn." Zack said with a worried tone in his voice, but on the inside he was laughing "HAHAHAHAHAHA! If she attack's it's all over for her! HAHAHAHA! Unless... she destroys THAT card, but she'd have 2 to choose from!" Zack thought

After his spiders told him that everything was going smoothly (C's duel was going nicely, and Jake wasn't making a fool of himself, that other one had left), Farquarl returned to the base, to find two of his comrades had already arrived, one of whom had shown himself on television.

"Excellent." He at least was happy with the fact that a few Dark Signers had shown up. "Welcome back." He looked around. Based on the colors of their robes, Farquarl concluded that the bearers of the Giant and Dog had arrived. He knew where the Condor and the Hands were, but he hadn't any idea where the Hummingbird Dark Signer had gone.

"My turn." C declared. "I draw, and I activate my Magicians' abilities. First, Endymion can destroy a card on the field once per turn. I haven't used this ability because of stardust, but now that it's gone, I can destroy your left Trap Card."

Endymion charged up a purple bolt of energy, which it fired at the left Trap Card.

"Next I will remove a Spell Counter from my Arcanite Magician to destroy a card that you control, which I will do to destroy your right Trap Card."

Arcantie Magician fired a green energy bolt at the other Trap. (4400 TK -> 3300 ATK) (3 SC)

"Now I attack your Frequency Magician with Endymion, and after that, I will attack you directly with Arcanite Magician."

The two mages powered up their spells to destroy Zack's Life Points once and for all.

"Good game." C whispered as the attacks fired.

OOC: bringerofcake, Jake and Paolo are having a shadow duel, so it's 8000 LP each

"I draw!"

"I activate Heavy Storm, and Lightning Vortex! Destroying all of your monsters, spells, and traps! I summon my Gene-Warped Warwolf's Hand in attack mode!" (lvl 4 2000)

"Now Gene-Warped Warwolf's Hand attack!" Jake yelled.

OOC2: any response? and what do you think of the cards I made for Jake? they're almost all hand versions of REAL monsters

"Ya, I guess..." Zack said "that was my first loss EVER."

OOC: LOLWUT

IC: Activate Trap! Mist Shield! This trap will stop your Lightning Vortex from harming my monster! I also activate the effect of Thunder God, returning Typhoon Valley to my hand, and increasing its ATK by 500 this turn! (ATK: 3400). Are you SURE you still want to attack?!"

Mist Shield

Counter Trap

Discard 1 "Mist Valley" monster. Negate the activation and effect of your opponent's card effect that would destroy a monster(s) you control, and destroy that card.

C deactivated her Duel Disk and picked up Misty, stroking her familiar as she walked over to Zack. "You dueled with your heart, but that won't always cut it anymore. You need to learn humility when going up against a Dark Signer, and knowing what the stakes are that you are now playing in. Imagine if I had really put any effort into that duel. Imagine if I had made this into a Shadow Game." She grabbed Zack's head and puleld him down so that her eyes were inches away from his. "Imagine if I had summoned my Earthbound Immortal." She whispered before pushing him back. "You would've been dead, countless civilians would be in my Immortal's gullet, and I would probably turn you into my own Dark Signer slave for my own personal satisfaction."

She handed Zack two cards. One was a Synchro Monster featuring a red, three-headed dragon, while the other was a Tuner showing a purple-haired chibi with Gothic Lolita clothing.

"The first is my final birthday gift to you: a powerful Synchro Monster that might serve you just as well as your Stardust Dragon does. Just be careful, because it is hard to summon, and risky to use, but he is worth the effort. He doesn't have a more advanced form, but his effect is more than enough. The second is a Duel Spirit that is a good friend of mine. If you ever wish to see me, she will appear, and guide you to me, no matter where I am. Just be warned: she has a short temper, and only use her in an emergency, otherwise she won't appreciate you constantly calling on her and might lead you somewhere you won't want to be. She is also quite useful in Duels herself."

C then set down Misty and gave Zack a loving hug filled with an unexpected warmth that shouldn't belong in the undead heart of a Dark Signer, with Misty rubbing against his legs and purring happily. She then picked up her cat and gave Zack a quick peck on the cheek before walking out of the alley. Zack tried to follow C a few seconds after she left, but when he turned the corner, she had vanished...

((Sorry for controlling your character a little bit, UDM. And you get a rep if you can guess what cards C gave Zack.))

OOC: Trident Dragon and i forgot the name of the other one

"Who was that? and how does she now me?" Zack asked himself. He then looked up to see Dylan looking down at him in surprise. Zack then hopped on his runner zoomed to find a jump, when he found one, he used his wings, and propelled himself up onto the building Dylan was on "I wonder who that was. I need to work on my deck, we need to defeat the dark signers! But... how did she know me?" Zack asked Dylan.

((Come on! It's not that hard!))

C took the local transit network to the old hideout of the Dark Signers. It had been long buried underneath progress. In fact, Satellite was only a name that the older generations called this section of the city. Now it was just District 3, part of Neo Dominokyo, the giant megatropolis spanning what was once the islands of Japan and part of Old Russia and Korea. Folks still called District 1 "New Domino", and District 3 "Old Domino" or "Satellite", just like they called District 2 "Tokyo", but the names were slowly fading from the lexicon. Even traditional Japanese was no longer spoken, with English the official language and Mandarin the trade language it had become. Spanish even took a major hit once nations started to become part of cities, and cultures started to merge and blend into one. Now, humanity has 50 billion scattered across the Solar System and several other stars, with a new colony being planed for a planet dubbed "Yamato" in the Tau Ceti system. Here, Japanese and the older customs could become prominent again, just like countless other colonies have done, preserving slices of human culture to prevent them from truly dying out.

All of this just made things a whole lot easier for a race that hadn't encountered magc for generations.

C was able to easily brainwash all of the people on board the maglev train that she didn't have a cat, which were prohibited on the trains, and any allergies were the result of a slight cold. She even manipulated the "foolproof" holocams to show that she didn't have a cat with her, and that she was being protective of her purse, which was why she was stroking it.

Once she got to Satellite, she fooled the ticket-takers into thinking that she wasn't there. he didn't show up on any systems, which prevented her from using the marvels of early 23rd-century technology, but she had no need for the stuff.

She found the secret tunnels that took her to the Pit, the site of the Zero Reverse event over 2 centuries prior. Here, the Dark Signers called this abyss home, and had a base at the bottom of the gaping hole.

C made her way down via a hidden elevator, and entered the base, flinging open the installation's double doors, Misty a few steps behind, to find a duel in progress between Paolo and Jake.

"So, what have I missed?" She asked the others.

Kree stops looking at Dean who had just seemed to enter the room without him noticing and looks over and sees Farquarl,, the one he usually would call his boss. He stands up in the dark room the Dark Signers inhabit which is lit by a only three candles. He then sits back in his char then turns around to face in Farquarl's direction and lies back in his chair. Then he says to Farquarl "O hello mister sunshine, enjoy your walk?" Kree smirks in interest of annoying his boss.

Ace Card: Vaalaaon the Chimera Claw Dragon

Appearance: When you look at him, you get the impression of two things: gold and green. He wears a dark green jacket with gold trim that goes down to his waist. He wears a light green T-shirt reaches his feet in the back, giving you the impression of a cape. He has black hair and light gold eyes that can be very disorienting to look at. He has a tall stature, and is roughly six feet tall. He wears some sort of tattered amalgamation of sweatpants and jeans, and hiking boots, that create a contrast of an odd renaissance costume and a street rat.

Biography: Mendatt was once the child of an extremely rich and politically powerful family living in new domino city. Of course, with great power comes great likelihood of assassination, and his entire family was murdered by someone competing for power when he was eleven years old. When this happened, he took to the streets, and was taken under the wing of a respected duelist. He is an extremely good strategist, and, being raised to be a politician, is witty, irritating, and extremely intelligent. He also has his family heirloom, Zephyr Dragon, and a duel spirit, which just happens to be his other synchro, Vaalaaon the Chimera Claw Dragon.

New Domino or the Satellite: New Domino.

I apologize for the extensive delay in getting my custom deck finished. I keep mixing up the spoiler tags.

I'm keeping this post.

Vaalaaon the Chimera Claw Dragon is my Ace card, not my Signer dragon. Though, now that I think of it, it's not a signer dragon. I'm not a signer.

So, any signer want a sidekick?

EDIT: Can I leave this post until I figure out how to get into the RP without making the timeline explode?

Sorry for the double post, but for some reason, the computer is not displaying my posts. I am going to shut it down for a while and get back on later in the evening.

OOC: FinalFan, Paolo v Jake has taken place near some park somewhere, not in the Dark Signers base, which is what I read in the last sentence of your post.

Oh, and UDM. Going to do some slight godmodding of your character. If this is NOT all right, PM me and I'll change it.

IC: "My turn! And this is it for you! I activate the effect of Mist Valley Thunder God, returning Typhoon Zone to increase his ATK! Then, I re-activate Typhoon Zone! (ATK: 3400)

Attack!"

From nowhere, before the attack collided, the Dark Signer was yanked away. He was pulled backward, by the hood of his cloak, and through some sort of dark portal. The flames disappeared, and Paolo was thoroughly confused by what had just happened.

Farquarl had waited until just before the attack hit to pull Jake in by the spider. He had recieved the signal, but decided to give the boy a little fear first. Incidentally, C had returned to the base just in time to hear what he would say, as Jake landed squarely on his rear end. He took his seat, muttering.

"Ah, excellent. You've arrived." Farquarl said, gazing around everyone. He noticed that the Hummingbird mark still hadn't shown. He'd need to take that into account with the King later.

"We have all been picked by the King of the Underworld to lead his campaign of chaos across Neo Domino and the world. And some of us," he looked at C and Jake, "have already encountered those defenders of this foolish and sad world, the Signers. But to do this, we need to work together. Everyone splitting off and going their own way wouldn't solve anything, and will only lead to our demise. We only need to last out the next two days and then our King of the Underworld can rise from his slumber. No doubt the Signers will be trying to find us, or the means of knocking out the Momentum towers of old. My counter-attack is simple. There is no doubt that the Signers have relocated since C dueled the Head signer recently. C, I want you and Jake to go to their last known location and try to find out their current location. Once you do, contact me so I can send our remaining two, Dean and Kree. Then I want you all to do whatever is necessary to eliminate the Signer threat. Remember, we're the 'bad guys', so you can play dirty if you want to. Any questions?"

"Why?" C asked from nearby. She was leaning against a wall, petting Misty. "Why do we necessarily have to fight unfairly? Why do we have to try to ressurect the King of the Underworld to destroy everything living? We could use that power for the greater good of humanity, such as ending death as we know it, or reviving the long-deceased so we can find out what truly happened in history. In fact, why do I have to follow your orders in the first place, Farquarl?!? I'm 230-f**king-years-old! I have senority over your GRANDMOTHER!"

((Cockfight! And C doesn't even have one!))

"I never said that you couldn't be honorable about the destruction of the Signers. I merely suggested that the option was THERE. But you forget, the King of the Underworld gave you life. He expects you to pay for it. If that means destroying the world, then so be it. Besides, do you remember the stories of Bommer, Carly, and Misty, the Dark Signers prior to you all? They tried to stop themselves from continuing along the path of destruction. And what happened? The King took over and forced them to continue. So, C, it's really a question of what you want more, your principles or your free will. If you value the latter, than do as I say."

Kree then yawns and says "Man, Why do I have to stay here? This is so boring. Am I the Only one of us who hasn't done something yet?". Kree starts to think to himself "I'm scrap, I just know I am." Kree then says to his boss Farquarl, "Let me guess Mister Sunshine, I'm the one in our group who is like Bommer? I'm the weakest who is here for just in case one of you fail, right?" Kree chuckles little bit then waits for his boss' answer to his question.

OOC: I'm calling Farquarl Mr. Sunshine. Sorry if it bugs you, that what my character does. Another thing he does is complain alot >.>

"Silly boy." C mused. "You REALLY think you have ANY power over me? What have you accomplished? You called us here to meet, which failed miserably by the way, interrupted my duel, failed to prevent one of our own announcing our presence to the world, yelled at another Dark Signer, and sent out a few spiders to spy on people. What have I done in a similar time frame? Well, let's see...I dueled the Head Signer, found out he was incredibly inadequate to hold the title, lured him into a false sense of security, made him my friend, therefore gaining his trust, and gave him a Duel Monster Spirit that will tell me his EVERY MOVE!!! WHO DO YOU THINK HAS HAD THE MORE PRODUCTIVE DAY?!? HUH?!?!?"

((In case you haven't noticed, it's that time of the month for a certain female Dark Signer...))

((*Cough Cough* C *Cough Cough*.))
