Yu-Gi-Oh!: Signers vs Dark Signers 2 [Started/Not Accepting Anymore/Co-owned by TheFinalFan]

OOC: Even though Master Fury haven´t posted in a quite while, I´m guessing Dylan is meant to be inside the warehouse with the other Signers.

IC: The spider had to be wrong, but they had never failed before so why should they start now?

Dean had stopped his duel runner outside of what looked like an old warehouse, abandoned several years ago and probably not used for an even longer time.

Dylan couldn´t be inside, if he were, there would be obvious tracks that showed almost his every step.

"What am I doing here? The time until the King of the Netherworld is reborn is running out and if I don´t do my part, we all will risk failing"

But that wasn´t the only thing going through his mind, his thoughts about C was also bothering him "She looks like a Dark Signer but her actions are far from those someone like us would make", "But if she´s not a Dark Signer, what is she?", He immediately dismissed those thoughts, of course was C a Dark Signer, how would she else look like one? "Her old conscience must still be left inside that’s all, like Carly and the other Dark Signers before the present day ones probably also used to have."

With those words Dean, not before putting the spider in a concealed pocket, started his duel runner and left the warehouse behind him.

He stopped in an alley and hidden by shadows he carefully checked the thread.

It still showed him towards the old warehouse.

"Well then I guess I´ll have to find him on my own since this thing refuse to work" Dean said to himself.

He was seconds away from squishing the small spider in his palm when something stopped him.

He could always check back later, if Dylan had moved, then it did work after all, if it did not, well then Dean would find out if brute force actually could destroy those things since leadin him into the warehouse could be a trap set by the Signers.

He heard approximately three people nearby, heading his direction and speaking somewhat loud to each other, likely arguing.

They were still too far away for Dean to be able to make out anything of the conversation but he simply waited, those two could hopefully provide a nice practice if they were duelists and if they weren´t, slaves.

Also, the duelmonsterspirits in his deck were longing to be released since quite a while back because Dean hadn´t had a real duel in what felt like ages.

OOC: Sorry for not posting but I was unsure about what to post, also I´ve had allot to do lately.

I´ll have somewhat of a short NPC duel because, well, I´m getting bored and hunting down Dylan is of apparently off limits.

Mendatt says "I'm going outside. You two have your little conversation, but my head aches from making an inspiring speech." He gets up and leaves the building.

After walking for a while, Mendatt notices another of the strings he followed C by. ~Hn. What should I do... I could follow it. There is a one in two chance I would find whoever it connects to, probably a dark signer, and another that I would find the other person it connects to, either another dark signer, or where they lair up. I could also get the others, just to be on the safe side, but... Nah. Wait a minute...~ He notices it stretching a little bit, and after confirming which side the string is coming from, he follows it in the way least likely to have a dark signer.

After running this way for a while, he comes upon a dark signer wearing robes with light blue stripes, who seems to be about to duel some... well, duelists. He leans against a building, with a slight sheen of sweat on his forehead, panting- he had ran quite a ways to catch up. "I'm afraid I can't let you do that. I'm aware that I look rather unintimidating right now, but I can assure you that I'm more powerful than I look."

OOC: He didn't actually discover your identity. His character made a guess.

((I'm sorry. Thank you.))

Carly stepped out of the warehouse as well. "I'm afraid something has come up. Mendatt and I will return shortly." She used her cloak to teleport on the other side of Dean, but she now looked like C. "I can't let you do that, Dean." She grabbed the spider and crushed it before the thing could transmit its information back to Farquarl. "Besides, who would believe you? I'm much higher on the social ladder than you, and have leverage in places you couldn't dream of." She activated her Del Disk, but her Dark Mark activated, creating an outline of purple flames in the shape of a bird. "Just do the world a favor and die. Permenantly."

Marigold appeared next to Mendatt's ear and whispered into it. "Don't worry. Mistress plans on only using Wiraqocha as a last resort, plus, this area isn't really active at this time of night, so there would have only been a few casualties anyways. Furthemore, she will only use it if he summons his Immortal, so that she doesn't absorb anyone."

"No, Farquarl has connections, and he might be able to check on this duel. This will simply be a Battle Royale, with poor Dean caught in the crossfire." C replied, sounding cynical. "I've already got a very convincing report written up in my head about how Dean valiantly tried to help me, but accidentally set his Duel Disk incorrectly, causing him to be treated as my enemy. The poor boy never stood a chance..."

Neo stared at the purple flames,"This duel might be one of the biggest duels,"Neo concluded as he just thought of something troubling,"...If one of the Earthbound Immortal's is Summoned,"Neo wondered as he staggered a little,"Could it destroy the housing area around it,"as Neo feared it he just remembered,"Nevermind, about what I said."

"I draw, and I play Terraforming, allowing me to add Magical Citadel of Endymion to my hand, which I will now activate."

A huge city rose up around them, but still ringed by the purple flames.

"Next I will Summon Magical Exemplar in Attack Mode."

A green-clad mage that was in the city stepped into the circle and prepared to fight. (1700 ATK)

"Next I will activate Mana Power Grasp, giving me 2 Spell Counters for each of my cards."

Two purple gemstones appeared on towers in the city while two smaller gems formed on Exemplar's necklace.

"I end my turn by setting 2 face-down cards."

C: 4000 LP

Hand: 1

Monsters: Exemplar (1700 ATK) (2 SC)

For once, Dean wasn´t happy about being right.

He watched the flames rise without even blinking.

If he focused, he could probably at least make an opening in them.

But then again, he had no idea how far C´s power stretched, and even if he managed to flee,

he wouldn´t be able to show his face back at the base, knowing that he ran from dueling a Signer.

(OOC: Both Signer and Dark Signer marks starts to glow when a Shadow Duel is starting)

He activated his duel disk on what seemed like reflex and drew five cards.

After all, this could be it, this could be the duel he waited for so long.

But regardless, if he was going to go down, he would go down fighting.

"I draw"

He carefully inspected his hand, he smiled slightly, feeling the effects of an adrenaline boost, but to anyone else, even to anyone standing right next to him, his face seemed to remain blank, this was good, really good.

"I think I´ll set a monster"

He stopped for a moment to think through his plan again.

"And 3 face-down cards should do the trick"

All that remained now was for either one of them to take the bait.

Dean: 8000 LP

Hand: 2

Monsters: 1 face-down in defence

Spells/Traps: 3 Face-downs

Graveyard: None

(OOC: TFF, Dean never noticed that there were people inside the warehouse, he simply thinks that Dylan might have noticed the string and left it there, trying to lure him into some kind of trap)

"My turn, and I Summon Crusader of Endymion in Attack Mode."

A brown-clad magician with a helmet and breastplate of blue armor appeared next to Exemplar. (1900 ATK).

"I will will now set another card face-down, then end my turn."

C: 8000 LP

Hand: 1

Monsters: Exemplar (1700 ATK) (4 SC), Crusader (1900 ATK) (Normal)

Spells/Traps: Citadel (3 SC), 2 FD

Graveyard: Spells

A voice rang out in Mendatt's head as C clutched her pendant,

Evol dyrne was born in New Domino City to a somewhat poor family. Not Satelite poor, mind you, but poor none the less. However, Evol had a knack for machines, and soon took great skill in machines and computers. This caused him to build a mechanical deck, which is very powerful, but has some holes. He build his own duel runner, and it is quite impressive at that. Much like his deck, though, it has some direct balence issues.

accepted, and delete all the other posts besides the triple post, oh, and you can't be neutral forever

IC: "This makes no sense........... I-I'm the heir of ALL the signers from two-hundred and twelve years ago!? Wow............. I knew I was a heir of three................ but not the other two.........." Zack said, pulling out the cards that he had from his bloodline, he knew that two of them were, but not the two others "...... Stardust Dragon....... Ancient Fairy Dragon................... Black Rose Dragon........ and Black-Winged Dragon........................ I knew you were original signer cards but....... I never knew that you came down my bloodline...."

This was dissapointing but easily fixable.

"I draw"

"I flip up my Sangan"

A wierd looking creature with three eyes appeared on the field holding its arms across its face.

"But thats not all, I activate Torrential Tribute"

One of the face-downs fliped up and created a wave of water that destroyed all monsters on the field.

OOC:Response? Also, Ferrikpm, if I remember correctly, you can´t equip anything to a face-down monster.

"Monster Protector." C replied.

Monster Protector

Trap/Counter

Activate only if your opponent activates a card that destroys more than 1 monster on the field. Negate the destruction of your face-up monsters. This card's activation and effect cannot be negated or chained.

A shield formed around Mendatt's field and C's field, safeguarding them from the torrent of waves that wiped Dean's field clean.

"Mendatt and I will be saved from the onslaught you created, but your monster will sink beneath the flood. Anything else, or will you just die quietly like you were supposed to?"

OOC: You can't? My mistake. Never mind that, than?

IC: "Well than, my turn. I summon a face-down monster, and play a face-down. Your up again."

Telepathy? My grandfather could do that. Which is, of course, why he was relegated to an insane asylum. But, as I was going to be saying, I have several plans on how to beat him. One of them would be to get double summon and a level 4 monster so that I can get zephyr dragon, falchion knight, or aegis knight. Another would be to wait for him to get his earthbound immortal and flip summon the dharc the dark charmer I set to take control of it. Another would be to wait for you to summon yours, or maybe to summon master magician of endymion, and I could take control of them, attack dean, and in my main phase 2, use double summon to tribute dharc to get avenging demonic trickster and tribute it to get avenging justiciar, which would give you your monster back. Than you could attack avenging justiciar, which, in my turn, would let me take permanent control of one of dean's monsters. So there are a variety of options, and I could always substitute double summon with armageddon if I need to. And it also helps that if he attacks the wrong face-down, it negates the attack and eventually allows me to summon a monster from my graveyard. So, any other ideas? The only problem with mine are that I would have to get the right cards.

OOC: what kind of duel are you doing? I'm confused..... anyway, just to clear things up, here are the things you NEED to know: Shadow Duel: 8000 LP and damage is real, Normal Duel: 4000 LP and damage is not real

IC: "........." Zack still surprised, couldn't stop looking at the cards "(............You guys have been standing by me this whole time................. thank you.)" Zack thought while the duel monster spirits of Stardust Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, Ancient Fairy Dragon, and Black-Winged Dragon all appeared next to Zack......... not saying a word................. "........." "........." "........." ".........." "(Thank you......)" Zack thought, now looking at them.

OOC: My turn wasn´t over, I just checked if any of you had a response to Torrential Tribute

IC:"That is fine with me because when Sangan leaves the field I can search my deck for a monster with 1500 ATK or less and add it to my hand."

A card, roughly in the middle of his deck was moved out from the rest and Dean added it to his hand, smiling slightly as he did it, the next part was crucial.

"Now before I end my turn, Infernity Archfiend will fill the place Sangan left open on the field"

(OOC: I don´t know how to describe its appearance so here´s the card)

es23qp.png

"And two more face-downs end my turn"

It was only the end of his third turn and it was already obvious to him who posed the real threat, C.

The Signer was lucky to have her on his side and not against him, because if he did, he would most deffinetly not last long.

(OOC: No offence Ferrikpm, but that´s simply what Dean thinks)

Meanwhile, the illusion of sanity he had put up for several years was really slowly starting to dissapear.

Dean: 8000 LP (Since apparently it´s 8000 not 4000 in a shadow duel)

Hand: 1

Monsters: Infernity Archfiend

Spells/Traps: 4 FD

Graveyard: 2

(OOC: UDM, It´s a three way Battle Royale but C (TFF) and Mendatt (Ferrikpm) are teaming up against me)

OOC: but even if it's a three way, the same life point rules apply

IC: "I can't make any sense out of any of this..... this is too weird......" Zack said out loud, not caring who heard "(You guys are the best........)" Zack thought looking at the duel monster spirits "Thank you........." Zack told them "No....... thank you Zack...." Black-Winged Dragon replied "Yes, if it wasn't for you, we could be in the hands of the Dark Signers........" Ancient Fairy Dragon replied "We are a team.... nothing can break the bond that we share." Stardust Dragon said "I agree." is all Black Rose Dragon had to say.

Kree looks around the area he is in for Paolo yelling "Come on out Paolo! Where are you hiding? Why am I having a hard time finding you? Maybe I'm the reason I can't find you! I may go back to our base if you don't show up. O wait no I won't the boss would kill me...again." Kree then sits down on the ground and starts to think what he should next, he sighed and then yelled one last time "Come out already! The Boss will kill me if I don't duel you soon or if I go back to base without dueling you." O come on!"

((No.))

C noticed the interloper, and said "Excuse me for just a moment." She created a hole in the flames, and went up to the young figure. Before he could react, she punched him in the gut, then knocked him senseless upside the head, knocking him unconscious. She then returned to the duel, sealing the hole behind her. "I apologize for that. I just dislike people interrupting my duels. Anyways, where were we?"

Dylan went back to his throne, confused to the maximum. If they are Dark Signers, then the world might be in more danger than I thought. he thought, worried about everyone he knew and trusted. "What are you doing here?" he said as a stranger walked in. "Oh, I'm sorry for disturbing you, but I need your help." he said. "What is it? And why do you need me?" Dylan said. "Well, a person riding on a black Duel Runner stole my treasured Majestic Dragon and..." "Don't say any more, I'll take care of it." Dylan interrupted him and ran to his Duel Runner. "Do you even know where that thief is?" he said wearingly. "No but I'll find out!" Dylan said as he took off.
