Okay so it's been a long time and i just got back into the hole yugioh cards and want to new a few more things. now we have the new show yugioh 5ds and well i mess out on xd. So i want to know whats new and is the rules of the old school yugioh still the same. I know i sound like a noob but i once had the most powerful Deck in my town intel i found out that the god cards are banned. lol but it will help a lot if you can tell me a lot or pm me thanks. :)

Wrong. They have recently released legal versions of Obelisk and Ra out in Japan and they are both unlimited, meaning you can have 3 in your deck. There are no official Tournament-legal god cards in the American TCG, however.

 

And I also suggest taking a look at the BASIC DECKBUILDING FAQ in the "Your Deck" section. It's stickied on the top of the first page so you can easily find it.

 

And for a cheap, but tournament-winning deck, you can buy 3 copies of the Machina Mayhem structure deck and build a deck from that while adding staples like Heavy Storm, Limiter Removal, and so on.
