yeah' date=' sorry, I accidentally pressed 'Post Reply' instead of 'Save as Draft.' Give me a break, considering I was doing this from my phone.

I know how annoying it is to type from the phone. Even if you hadn't, I would have given you a break. The Limit Rule does not apply to unfinished applications.
Name – Hisui

Gender - Female

Appearance – A beautiful young woman with lengthy, dark that reaches her back. She has almond-shaped, deep eyes that penetrate one’s thoughts, and a kind, yet stern face. Her lips are full and glossy, and her skin a fair complexion. She wears a black haori that reveals her somewhat big chest. She designed the bottom of the haori so that it would look more like a dress; for more femininity and mobility. She wears ordinary slippers on her feet.

Personality – Hisui is extremely gentle and caring, always putting the lives of the weak before her own. She is a strictly no-nonsense sort of lady and even in the most comical of situations, retains her strict attitude. Though she acts more like a mother than a partner, she is very charismatic and held in high regard by many.

Zanpaktou

Name - Roku-Kire

Appearance - A standard katana whose hilt is a dark red and it's blade, a light-gold color.

Release phrase - 'Break, Roku-kire!'

Shikai release (Appearance) - The sword literally breaks into six pieces that turns into spherical balls or Reishi. The color of the Reishi is very important as the determine Hisui's next attack.

They float, dormant in the air until Hisui commands them to do something. In battle, she uses these balls of Reishi like a chain, as they line up in formation and slash at her enemies.

Shikai Release (Abilities) -

Ryuuiisou - A symbol of a green lotus appears below her opponent's feet, then anything in that symbol with be overcome with a jade flame, turning it to dust. This move is incredibly fast: however, speedy and reflexive characters will have no problem dodging it. Thus, it's more of a luring technique.

Gosai - The six orbs turn red, and form into a line that floats in midair. Hisui can use her mind to command them into attacking the opponent, while she gracefully employs her fighting techniques as well. This is how she usually goes about physical combat when her Shikai is released.

Koushoku - The orbs take on a golden color. They are able to fire extremely dense balls of Reishi from their bodies at a rate of 20 bursts a ball, per minute. This is her means of a projectile when her opponent is too hard to hit, physically.

Resurrecion

Name - Dragoon

Appearance- They take the form of jade earrings on both of Hisui's ears.

Release command- 'Test their fate, Dragoon'

Manifestation - Hisui is enveloped in a large ball of green Reishi. When she is revealed, in her place is a large, ferocious red dragon.

Abilities -

Gate of Ki - The Dragon releases a massive burst of multi - colored flames from it's mouth. These flames are near impossible to block, and the only method of escaping this wildfire is by dodging. However, they are incredibly fast. Though it is extremely powerful and disintegrates everything in it's path. It’s the dragon's only attack, and consumes most of it’s power; instead, the dragon may rely only on it’s physical prowess.

Here's my app. Any and all changes you require will be made.

Observed:

Name: Sanako Aihara (Or Aihara Sanako if we're going japanese style of last name first)

Gender: Female

Appearance: Sanako stands at five feet, nine inches. Her skin is a light peach color but never seems very pale. Her eyes are a deep green and easily catch light. Her hair is a decently dark purple. For the most part her hair comes down to the back of her neck except the parts behind her ears go much longer and come roughly to her waist. Her nose is small and regularly shaped. The rest of her face is pretty normal and a small smile can generally be seen on it. Sanako wears a white kimono-like garment. It has pink stripes running in the center vertically and horizontally, meaning were the two sides of the clothes come together and also as the large belt like sash around her hip. The robe comes down to her ankles but is not restrictive. It allows for a lot of movement. Around each wrist Sanako wears a sort of guard. It is a purple darker than her hair and it starts from about the last third of her forearm to the base of her middle finger; they do not come onto her palms. The purple is outlined by several golden stripes though they aren't made of gold. These guards are very flexible yet very sturdy and they assist Sanako in her hand to hand combat whether as guards or making attacks hurt more. Her shoes are similarly colored and serve the same purpose as the guards. Sanako has the typical, feminine, athletic build.

Personality: Though Sanako generally keeps a smile on her face this does not mean she is always happy. In fact, she is serious and reserved most of the time. It's hard for her to make a deep emotional connection with anything or anyone. Sanako hardly ever tries to take charge in a group. She prefers to observe and take note as opposed to actively participating. She forms opinions of things in her mind that she hardly ever shares. Sanako wants to overcome her problem and connect emotionally with other people but can't really do anything about it. So of course in the few events she does start connecting she gets really excited and tries everything she can to keep it going. She's very protective but only of people and places she feels she's really made a connection with. So while she is with several companions she wouldn't actively defend most of them. Still she knows when things are important and doesn't like to mess around when things are serious. She can be humorous but to see this is rare. She is generally calm and relaxed and angering her is tough even in battle. Should she ever get angry it's not pretty to say the least. So while it's tough for her emotions to really get through they are there and they are strong. When they surface she's very excitable and fun to be around.

Zanpakuto:

Name: Fukateki na Ouda (Means "Additional Assault" in English)

Appearance: Sanako's zanpakuto takes on the form of a simple katana. Its hilt is purple, the same color as Sanako's hair, but it has no hand guard. A long pink ribbon is tied about the hilt. The blade is simple and about three and a half feet in length. It's generally in its sheath as she hardly fights with a sword.

Shikai Release Command: "My movements shall guide you, Fukateki na Ouda."

Shikai Appearance: Upon release the sword disappears. Sanako's arms and legs begin flowing with her bright purple reiatsu. The sword itself only materializes when Sanako attacks. The blade itself is simply her normal sword except it is made of reiatsu and is connected to her body via the reiatsu.

Shikai Abilities: Whenever Sanako moves to strike an opponent a blade materializes out of her reiatsu that moves with her until the actual attack. Should Sanako miss the blade will move slightly to hit what she missed. Should she hit, the blade will attempt to slit the opponent's throat, or do other damage if it can't reach the throat. This blade can be no longer than it originally was while sealed. It starts about halway down her forearm. One would see purple reiatsu surging from her arms. When she moves you would see her reiatsu on her arms or legs take the shape of a blade and then become a blade; the bottom of which is still reiatsu so they can in no way be removed from her. Once the attack is over the blades disappear, waiting to materialize again. This sword greatly suits her fighting style as she really excels in hand-to-hand and agility. The only real additional power is that Sanako's speed is increased in this state.

Resurrecíon:

Name: Cisne Corrumpido (Mean's "Tainted Swan" in English)

Appearance: Sanako's resurrecion is actually manifested in the sheath to her shinigami zanpakuto. The sheath is the same shade of purple as the zanpakuto's hilt and is as long as the zanpakuto's blade as any good sheath should be.

Release Command: "Glide, Cisne Corrumpido."

Manifestation: As the name might suggest, Sanako takes on the appearance of a swan. Her body becomes covered in black and purple feathers. Large black wings appear on her back with a roughly six foot wing span. Her face takes on the appearance of the bird, including the beak. Her neck is normal sized however. Most notable are the large sharp talons her arms gain. Sanako gains no height from the transformation and her body's general build is left mostly the same.

Abilities: She gains speed, strength and a large amount of spirit pressure. The special ability is called Rezo sin Setido ("Meaningless Prayer" in English). Her talons glow and she slashes out at the air. A purple wave is sent out and it's purpose is not to damage the enemy, though it can if it hits. Instead, these waves fan out and form a sphere of influence that can be expanded by additional waves. Inside this sphere, any excess shinigami spirit pressure, meaning the pressure shinigami naturally give off instead of use, is slowly converted into her own. After enough fighting the opponent's body begins to try and reclaim lost spirit pressure. The converted pressure can still enter the body of origin but once inside does not give energy back to the person, instead it attempts to excite fatigue by increasing nerve activity 3 fold. Though the extra fatigue hardly helps, the ability to prevent excess spirit pressure from being reused is quite helpful.

Here is my App. I am very flexible, and I can change things to better suit the RP and it's standards.

Observed:

Name: Akuma Herarudo (Devil’s Herald)

Gender: Male

Appearance: African-American, with black hair. Looks like a 14-year old. Has black eyes, and wears traditional shinigami wear. He carries his sword on his back, and his black hair is short and spikey.

Personality: Akuma is a very friendly person. He is always nice to others, except for his enemies. He is also joking at times, and always seems to enjoy life to its fullest. During battle though, he is much more serious. He is also merciless, and does not waste time. Akuma does not care about what happens to his enemies, and defeats them however possible. Akuma tries to make friends with anyone and everyone possible. Even when a friend becomes an enemy though, Akuma is able to immediately cut off his bond with that person and is willing to destroy them.

Zanpakuto:

Name: Jigoku no saisu (Hell’s Scythe)

Appearance: A traditional shinigami sword.

Shikai Release Command: Erase! Jigoku no saisu!

Shikai Appearance: It becomes a large scythe, about 10 feet long. The blade connects to a large circle at the end of the staff of the scythe. The scythe itself is a dark purple, with thin torn black cloth spiraling down it.

Shikai Abilities: Jigoku no saisu has the power to erase objects. By focusing his reiatsu into his zanpaktou, Akuma can slash his scythe to release blasts of energy that erase objects on contact. The more power he uses, the stronger the blast. Jigoku no saisu does not leave cuts, bruises, blood, or any type of injury behind. Instead, it simply takes the things it hits, out of the equation, so to speak. However, when a part of somebody is erased, it hurts much more than it simply being cut off. Also, Akuma can use this energy to attack close up physically, and make shields/barriers out of it. Jigoku no saisu can erase anything, except for itself and Akuma. This means even enemy attacks can be wiped away.

Resurrecíon:

Name: Carmesi Destructor (Crimson Destroyer)

Appearance: They appear to be like white gauntlets. They are made out of a hard white material (like the mask of a hollow, only like steel) and they are shaped like waves, layers on top of each other curving up towards the outside, and going downward towards the middle to allow the next layer to be placed on top. He wears two, one on each arm, and they go from his hands almost to his elbows.

Release Command: Obliterate! Carmesi Destructor!

Manifestation: A mask forms over Akuma’s face (no, he isn’t a vizard) that is white and spikes back at small intervals to make small triangles that go above his hair. A small slit appears horizontally on his mask, and it gets a little bit wider towards the middle, but not much. The slit is a needle shape, and in the middle it is red, which represents his eyes (though it is only one red line) and in the left and right corners, which make up about 1/3 of the slit, the slit is black. An armor forms over Akuma, replacing his shingami robes. The top half of his body gets more muscle, and you can see it through the parts of his armor that are not connected. The armor is all white, and he retains the same gauntlets. However, his armor has many curved spikes that are symmetrical on both sides. The armor and spikes cover his chest, his back, his legs, and his shoulders. There is not mouth on his mask, but he can still speak.

Abilities: Akuma becomes a little more enraged in battle, but still has complete control. His attacks are wilder, and his strength is greater. His resurrectíon gives him a special ability known only as “cero manipulation.” Akuma can fire many ceros, all varying in strength. He also has bala, and can make his bala vary in strength. The one very unique ability his resurrection has, however, is that he can move the ceros in weird ways. After firing one, he can make it bend, and move it in to weird shapes. It is not absolute in this form, and he can only fire one at a time in this form. However, he can also stop ceros to a certain degree. He can completely stop them and destroy the ceros with enough reiatsu, or, he can make them move around him. The stronger the cero, the harder it is. He can even sometimes stop the cero, and then add his own on to make it stronger (he doesn’t absorb the cero, he just stops it in mid air). His physical attacks can have bala and cero added on to make them stronger too.

Edit: Changed Ressurection to Spanish (it was japanese before). Bleach's Spanglinese (Spanish + English + Japanese) confused me.

Edited App:

Changelog:

-Jishaku now doesn't control electricity and lightning. Instead, it imbues negative charges to Shishiomaru's reiatsu, causing his attacks to be negatively charged.

-Nerfed Kaminari Ken from 5 meter radius to 1 meter, and now causes only minor damage. It now releases a smokescreen effect.

-Metsu is changed to Byakurai which shoots a white lightning for damage. Causes stronger damage to positively charged targets, but causes minor damage to negatively charged targets.

-Hiryugekishintenraiho is changed to Shintenraiho. It now has internal cooldown of 5 posts, and fires only in a straight line. It causes bigger damage to positively charged targets, but causes half damage to negatively charged targets.

-Magneto Negro now can only condense Shishiomaru's reiatsu, and doesn't affect any of the environment's spirit particles.

-Lanzador Oscuro now receives a damage mitigation. If it hits a positively charged target, it does minimal damage. It cannot be fired consecutively now.

-Bala Negra now applies positive charges to targets.

----------------------------------------------------------------

All of the abilities now require some sort of coordination for them to be effective. Its more or less balanced, coz the user needs to switch very often just so the abilities can become really useful, otherwise, staying in one form makes the abilities sub-par.

I have decided to limit the amount of Accepted players to 4, since as one can read in The Forgiving Shadow's opening post only four Observed managed to escape from Seireitei. Thus, I can only accept one of the five or six application forms I've received.

I have chosen Andx for the fourth and final slot. In other words,

Application is hereby closed. All reservations, if there are any, are made invalid.

It is possible I will allow more players to join once the story progresses, but for now, applications are closed. (And before you ask: The Limit Rule still applies, regardless of when you join. If you've already failed twice, you cannot apply again.) We will start later this evening.

I now declare Flight of the Dead Gods to be open!

Karakura Town

Present Time

The four of you stumble through the Garganta into what remains of Karakura Town. Little more than a ruin after what happened seventy years earlier, the charred buildings and withered trees tell the tale of a violent past. The Japanese government have sealed away the entire area with huge steel walls, impenetrable by ground and unscalable. According to them, Karakura Town never existed.

The "blind crusader", someone leading a rebellion against the Kami no Kami, Aizen Sosuke himself, resides somewhere here. At least, that is how the legend goes. The blind crusader recruits Observed from Seireitei to form a new army and rebuild the Shinigami society, so that they may no longer live in tyranny and fear. You have come here to succeed where Aizen's soldiers have failed - find the blind crusader.

You arrive at the center of the town, near the corroded ruins of the old hospital. You sense several spiritual pressures nearby. By now, Aizen should be well aware of your escape... He might have sent someone after you.

I will give you a few posts to socialize until I kick off the plot. As you have escaped together, your characters know each other a bit - but under an oppressive eye, where betrayal might lead to rewarding, even the best of friendships can fluctuate.

Yamada landed and looked around Karakura town, if it could be called that. The place could not even be called a ghost town it was so gnarled looking. Still, the burnt looking area felt like home to him. Maybe it was just because of the fact that he had been oppressed, or maybe the fact that it reminded him of fire. Who knew? Still, he wanted to see outside of this area, and take in the scenery. He imagined what it would look like before mentally slapping himself. He thought as he looked around. He figured it would be hard to hide here, but the Blind legend had done it pretty well. He looked to the others, and immediately assessed them. He liked Sanako, Saseru annoyed him, and he was indifferent to Satoru. Acting on his assessment he walked over to Sanako. "So, where do you think we should start?" He asked the fellow Observed.

Saseru wandered around the broken shards of glass and garbage looking for anything interesting. This place bored him to tears. Everything was the same and nothing was different. He turned to look at his group. He sighed and went back to looking.

Sanako stepped out into the ruins of Karakura with the other three Observed. She looked around initially with wonder at the thought of being in the real world. That wonder quickly turned to disappointment, not that it was visible on her face.

"This is the 'other world' we'd heard about. I'd envisioned something more stunning, more beautiful. This isn't any better than where we were before." she thought after taking a quick look around. A very feint breeze caught her hair for a second but it passed quickly. Everywhere she looked she could see nothing other than ruined buildings and on the horizon, nothing but metal ascending to what seemed like the ends of the sky itself. How even that breeze managed to get in was far beyond her.

Sanako wasn't too sure how to act around the other Observed, or anyone for that matter. They hadn't really been allowed much freedom to talk or get to know each other but she did know who the other three were. She knew she wanted to have friends but she wasn't exactly sure what a friend was either. Before much time had passed Yamada questioned her. She turned her head forward to focus on him.

"Where to start? I would say follow the strongest spirit pressure but if it was that easy the Crusader would have already been found. The question is, how do we go about making ourselves known to him but not to the owners of the other pressures around? The only thing I can think of is to search the less used paths of this... town." Sanako said still scanning the surrounding area.

Saseru turned to see a opening in some rubble not to far from where he was standing. He felt small spiritual pressure in that direction but he wasn't sure if it was real or his imagination He heard what Sanako said about finding a less used path. He turned to face the other three. "Hey Sanako, does that look like anything?" He turned and pointed to the opening. He smiled knowing he would finally be able to fight again. < I hope that this Blind Crusader is strong. I can't wait to tear this guy to pieces.>

Satoru's first order of business was to alphabetize the names of his teammates.

It was odd, he knew, that such a thing would be at the top of his priorities. But he'd long stopped trying to interject sense into his semi-random obsessions, finding it much easier to simply given into the obtuse desires it required as a sacrifice every so often. It was preferable to pay the pittance of his time, which he often had a lot of, than suffer the palm-sweating compulsions that would follow, the anxiety, the lack of focus...

No, it was always best to have his disorder take what it wanted. Some may have, at one time, called that unhealthy, but who in the current day and age would care? It was a miracle he'd survived so long without perfect health anyway, in the first place, let alone managing to escape.

Aihara S., he listed first mentally, glancing over at the dark-haired girl. He wasn't entirely sure what to make of her. Though she seemed well enough, something about her just seemed somewhat off- he knew it was rather hypocritical of him to say, he and his obsessions, but it was true. She was currently talking to another one of their little four-band of the Observed. It took Satoru a second before he remembered the other's name.

Kuro, Y., he recalled briefly before looking blankly at the male, realizing that out of all of his companions, he probably knew the least about him. Mentally noting that he had taken the initiative to see what they should do first, he continued on.

?, Saseru. he added, pausing when he noted he didn't have a last name for that one (which annoyed him, but didn't inflame any of his compulsions, luckily). Saseru was possibly the only one that could be branded as 'annoying'. The blond-haired blue-eyed boy had a habit of being narcissistic, strangely naive for a Observed in the days of Aizen, and seemed to be infuriatingly bull-headed. Satoru felt oddly relieved that he didn't have to interact too closely with him.

Yamasaki S. ...And himself, he finished. the OCD-riddled man with an annoying stutter and lack of multitasking ability. Well, he wasn't too sure how he'd respond if he ever had to get along with himself, but he figured he was an alright fellow, though he knew he was hardly unbiased.

Alright, with the alphabetization out of the way, Satoru figured it was now time to find the one they came for- The Blind Crusader.

He hoped the Crusader was literally blind. If someone with such a disability managed to stand up to Aizen as it was and not falter, perhaps his own handicap wouldn't eventually be the death of him.

"Side Roads seems like a good idea to me. Well, as good as any." Yamada said, musing aloud. Then he heard Saseru's comment to Sanako, and looked. It was a small path, nothing distinguishing about it, in the least. He felt a small spiritual pressure, but not like it had been compressed. Just, a weaker Spiritual Pressure. As he looked back, he noticed the giddy and childish smile on Saseru's face. That just made his nerves tense up. "No, kid, that's nothing. Take a closer feel of it. Also, stop being so happy. We have to find him, so we can assist him. You look more like a child who is about to use a new toy." The kid seemed to not have a care or clue in the world. Probably wanted to fight, or so Yamada assessed from his demeanor. Without his noticing, he began to fidget with the handle on his small sword across the small of his back. He also eiped one of his blonde locks out of his eyes, letting his blue eyes shown. He wondered how this kid was so different than him, and similar at the ame time. "So, which way do you suggest we head, Satoru?" He asked, noticing the odd guy looking at them analytically.

Apart from the faint spiritual pressures passing through the town, you get the feeling that the Karakura ruins are completely void of life. In a true postapocalyptical sense, you spot bugs emerging from the buildings as you ponder which way to go. Cockroaches, worms, butterflies... and an abnormally large cricket sitting on a nearby wall. Not absurdly large, but at least thirty centimeters from head to foot. The cricket's skin is black and slimy, and it's closed-shut eyes seem to follow you as you walk around.

"Hmm..." Satoru mused allowed as Kuro. Y (as he was identifed to him), asked him of their opinion on their direction. He surveyed the various paths before shrugging after a few moments.

"I doubt it matters." he said, tugging at the corner of the coat of his expensive-looking ensemble. Unfortunately, it was already starting to tarnish from the dust in the air, and seemed far more grimey than was right for the material.

"Chances are that, regardless of our direction, whomever is looking for us will find us. We have no sense of direction, and staying out of physical sight is so little an advantage we probably shouldn't even both us. With nothing around... it seems like if our Crusader is keeping an eye out for people such as us, he knows we're here already. Or he will, soon enough."

Sanako wasn't particularly listening while the others talked. She heard what they were saying and Satoru's idea was quite valid. As she had looked around her eyes caught sight of an abnormally large cricket. It sat there motionless. It seemed very suspicious, especially in this barren wasteland of a city.

"That can't be right. There's no life here and no cricket that is that big..." Sanako said quietly as Satoru finished his response. Had someone really been paying attention to her they would have heard what she said but otherwise they would have heard inaudible noise. She hadn't really said it to anyone in the first place.

Sanako stared at the cricket for a minute or two. She even took a step or two towards it and the bug hardly flinched. It wasn't moving, just sitting. Almost like it was waiting for them to do something. A bizarre thought got into Sanako's mind.

"That thing can't be spying on us can it? No, that can't be right, it's just a bug... a big bug." she thought. Deciding the information wasn't critically important at the moment she turned back to the group and waited for the others to voice what they wanted to go about doing. If what Satoru said was true than someone would find them soon enough.

"I get what you are saying, Satoru. Still, I don't feel like just waiting, seems rather pointless, don't you thi-." Yamada noticed Sanako was staring at something before he finished, following her gaze he saw the monster cricket. "Wat. The Devil. Is that?" He asked, pointing at the giant cricket, sitting calmly. It baffled him. "Umm, I think we should leave the area... yeah. That cricket does not feel right to me. Granted, it's a group decision." He looked away from the cricket, still feeling its eyes on him, although they were not open. To keep his mind occupied, he began brushing the dirt, filth, etc. from the left side of his robe, a perfectly clean and straight white half of the robe. If you looked at the other side of his robe, it was pitch black, but the edges were tattered and there were smudges on it, like it was not cared for. "Hurry with the decision, I want to see the world." HHe said, half lying.

OOC: I do not suggest we leave the cricket, just the character does

"Ugh, I hate bugs..." Saseru watched the unnatural large cricket stare at each and everyone of them. His fingers began to clench the handle of his sword. He just wanted to slice it in two. "Can I have permission to annihilate that over grown thing over there?" He clenched his sword tighter and tighter. He took a few steps toward the insect. He noticed that it never made a sound or a move. Everyone was being watched by the bug and that thing could be the source of it. "Never mind. I'm gonna have to agree with Yamada here. If I squash the thing I feel like something bad might happen." He looked around. He still couldn't get the image of the bug out of his mind. The worse part was it was still staring.

Without warning, the cricket lets out an impossibly loud chirp, even deafening you for a few seconds, and takes off. It flies in your direction, but doesn't drop down: it passes far above you and sets off westward. As it is directly above you it lets out another chirp, and then turns dead silent - not a flutter of thin, diaphanous wings can be heard. You watch the cricket fly across the skies, with not a worry in the world, and therefore don't perceive what's going on behind you.

A loud cackle fills the air, along with a burst of spiritual pressure. "Look what we've got here, niisan! A few Seireitei runaways, I see!" You turn your heads, and see two men standing where the cricket previously were. The one who had spoke, the somewhat younger with spiky, unkept black hair and green eyes, puts his hand on his Zanpakuto. There is no question - these two are Observed. The other one, who has the same green eyes but a grey mane of hair, nods. "No doubt these are the ones the Kami no Kami is looking for." He smiles. "He didn't say he wanted them alive, though. Let's go, Shizuke!"

The two of them draw their Zanpakuto, two regular and almost identical katanas. The younger one, eager to fight, jumps down to you. "Shape, Nukarumi!" The blade of his sword thins out, and becomes rounded. It practically becomes a spear, which Shizuke holds in one hand. The man standing on the rooftop holds his sword to the sky, and exclaims: "Fall. Ketsuen no Ame." His sword flashes in red, and changes shape entirely: it is now attached to the back of his hand in the shape of three long metal blades. Shizuke smiles a terribly wide grin and charges at you.

Sanako had decided she wasn't going to worry about the cricket anymore when it suddenly flew off in front of the group. Then before Sanako could even try to guess what had startled it they were under attack by two other Observed who had swiftly released their zanpakutos. From the sounds of things they were Aizen's men.

"Looks like someone found us after all. Just not who we wanted." Sanako thought as the enemy launched into his first attacks. Had Sanako not been serious up to this point, that was over. Fight's were serious matters to her and had to be taken seriously. Her usually smile turned to a straight face.

As a sort of reflex Sanako instantly decided on attacking Shizuke who was currently charging them. During her time in Seireitei the various tests on her abilities concluded Sanako's biggest strengths were hand-to-hand combat, agility, and kido. As such she made no motion to draw her sword but instead began at a light run to meet the attacking newcomer. His weapon was long, almost spear-like, and it no doubt help a power Sanako was not aware of. She thus made it her first priority to find out what all it could do. Of course, that wouldn't mean she didn't have to make it painless.

Using a single flash-step, Sanako closed the gap between herself and the attacker. Holding out her right hand she hit Shizuke's zanpakuto with her guard on that wrist in an attempt to throw it, or Shizuke himself, off-balance. Not waiting for the result, Sanako brought her right hand back in and swiftly kicked at Shizuke's head with her left leg. Basic attacks yes, but she was only gauging what he could do at the moment. Of course that sort of fighting would have to stop very soon as Sanako knew no Observed to be a weakling.

Yamada stared at them for a moment. "Really? You want a two-on-one battle? Are you off your rocker? Eh, it matters not." With that he drew Hihanone, and joined Sanako. "I'll help you with this idiot. We can't lose, eh?" He grinned in a semi-sadistic manner, being caught up in the moment. He was given to being overly passionate. He swung Hihanone down at Shizuke, while drawing Fuegave, the Seppuku Katana, with his left hand, and holding it like a fighting knife, blade out the side of his hand. He sliced with the smaller Zanpakuto, aiming for the Observed's neck, knowing full well this would not be the end. "Heh," He taunted, "Do I even need swords to beat you?!"

"Blast, Setsuna!" Saseru swiftly released his zanpakuto. His sword instantly became 9 feet long, glowed bright red, and turned white hot. He immediately launched the older looking one. " I'm gonna tear you to pieces!" He swung his sword in an upward motion. The older one blocked it. He jumped back and came again. This time he swung the sword unbelievably fast. The blur of red hit his opponents sword claws once more and sparks flew. "This time I got you, Burn up!" Flames shot out of the sword and nearly burnt his opponents face. He takes the sword back and struck the man successive times. Each hit was blocked but his opponents arms were burnt and his zanpakuto was glowing red. His opponents hand was twitching in way. He new he was hurt and now was the time to strike. His opponent jumped back. Saseru stood for a moment and took in that blood was about to spill out of his opponent. He took a step back and used an incredibly fast flash step and quickly was facing his opponents back. Saseru raised his sword knowing it was over. His sadistic smile flashed in the dead sky.

Shizuke smiles.. "Just as I planned." As your attacks approach Shizuke, you feel your limbs slow down until they almost come to a stop. You look at your arms and see that they are covered in a thick coating of mud. The mud not only slows you down, it pushes you away. "There's a reason we were chosen for your capture, runaways. Our Zanpakuto have containing powers. Nukarumi is only the beginning. Expand!" The mud flows out over your arms and legs.

The older one parries Setsuna off-handedly, and is confounded. "You release your Zanpakuto for a one-on-one fight? You believe you have a the advantage now? You must be weaker than I thought." He looks at the claw on his hands. "Do you know how many times you have hit Ketsuen? Six times. Not once have you landed a hit. I have preserved your power." The claw suddenly starts to glow blue. "You stand to face Akimoto Naoki's true power. Kudos to you." The claw lets loose a ring of blue flame, encircling Saseru and rapidly shrinking.
