Through the sky could be seen a tear in the atmosphere, as a glinting black diamond emerged through the fog. Overwhelmed by it's immaculate frame, lone Wanderers brushed their hands against it's surface, unaware of the harm it could bring. As they did so, through the diamond a vortex could be seen, ripping through the jewel, slowly bringing itself closer to them, smashing the pieces apart, to reveal its figure, a menacing two black hands carved themselves through the darkness, and...reached inside the bodies of the travellers. One by one their souls were sent adrift into the space rift, a red border torn to decorate its outsides. Dissapearing from sight, nobody knew how it happened, but as they were cast inside it, the broken shards of diamond reformed themselves around it, and hovered over to a town, for its next set of untimely victims. After regaining consciousness, thousands of people were scanning their eyes over the vast landscape of this new place. The Forbidden World... This thought was cropped up by a small boy, yearning to learn more. Whilst the others were muttering over their complicated speech, he slipped away to investigate the skeltering mountains and outstretched sky. By the time this small boy had clambered his way to the top mountain during his venture, he turned to see his 'neighbours' in this strange world. Below him was his entire population here, but from the inner darkness emerged an army of Shadow-Cast knights. Screams emmited from below, the echoes continuously ringing through his ears - and his mind whispered to him softly:Roy...escape...before- At once a roar of triumph came from the captor party. Equipped with bone tipped javelins, and swords decorated with shrunken human heads clinging to the handles, Roy kept well out of sight. On their heads they wore fine helms, placed with a winding blackish purple mark leading down in a spiral to the bottom of their steel plated shins. In the darkness, their faces were unseen, and a ghostly fog overcame the world, and a growl came from the inside of the mountain. Exploring the abnormity, Roy scaled down the mountainside and dug through a small crack in the wall, which conviniently led to an entrance. Inside hung eight fire lamps, all ablaze and roaring at the walls, trying to somehow set them alight or cave them in. Heat struck him as he entered, which gave him no suprise. For the first time he entered here, Roy let out a feverish wail:"Heloooo? Is there anyone there?"Arms outstretched, he pulled back a curtain to see a man cradled on a wooden chair, tipped with one velvet strand leading down from the top of it to the chair legs. As he lifted his head, a mark was embroidered on his face - a black crystal hung there, and at once Roy knew this was bad news. Reeling backwards Roy switched on his Duel Disk, lights meeting each other for the first time in this darkness. At once the man stood up, and flopped down back into the chair on his first attempt. It was clear he hadn't walked for a while. All colour had been drained from his face - the only emotion he held was in the mark on his forehead. Eventually he rose with a dramatic feat, and a Duel Disk untangled itself from his skin -how long had he been sitting there? Immediately the corners of his mouth turned upright and he cackled menacingly. Mindlessly he threw a small device to the center of the floor, and watched in awe as its lights rapidly darted across the room. A shadow cast upon his face as he grinned."Are we ready to go?" he spoke, as every word echoed through the hollow cave. Silently Roy nodded, not knowing this would turn out to be a real duel.Shuffling his cards in anticipation, Roy drew five, and retrieved another from the top of his Deck. "Duel!" The man's eyes flickered open, and Roy grinned from ear to ear like a boy in a funfair. What did he have in mind? --Inner Reflections--[/align]
