Poseidon©
Since the MW2 leaders were fired, they looked for a publisher that let's them use their own IP fully. So they got EA. Everybody is now leaving IW and moving to Respawn/other developers. -_- Take that Apple Activision, you money hungry asswipes. Discuss this new studio. Brushfire
Heard this too. Activision are letting Sledgehammer games handle Call of Duty 8, which is not Modern Warfare 2. Infinity Ward are still in charge of making Modern Warfare 3, though how many people will be left at IW is unknown. It'll probably fail. I see EA Respawn creating- perhaps, the best FPS to date without the previous restrictions (both time and IP) in place.
Cyber Altair
Some big guys already left IW. Also whatever they may make will never be able to financially beat a CoD game because of the franchise's name. Real shame too.

Cyber Altair
No because the game won't be called Call of Duty. Trust me when I say for a game to sell that's all that matters.
