Proper rates in Realistic Cards

This rule could also be in the other card sections.

 

Well I have seen loads of posts where a member quotes another persons comment and doesn't give his own comment or says "That /\ /\" or "What the above member said".

Also I have seen members just put in a rate such as

"8/10" and not put in a comment at all.

I think there should be a new rule

Where each member cannot quote another person comment and cannot just give the rate.

Each member must give at least a small comment and a rate if they want.

 

Discuss if this rules should happen and support if you want

I came into this thread laughing. You give horrible rates, and you want to speak down to others? Honestly, for rates we have a system. You see... 8/10 directly to a newbie from a newbie is expected and it helps them stay longer. Overtime you gain seniority and more is expected of you.

 

Thus, as a SENIOR MEMBER you're expected to give more detailed responses tailored to how you learned being a CardMaker (not just rater -_-). And we treat people differently as such. However as you said, quoting a user without their own commentary is bad.

 

We will not do as you said, as it undermines the important users (the newbies), however we can get harsher on senior members if you like.

Also, how do you really expect to enforce this? Report every post that says: "8/10"?

If I was a mod, I would consider post with only "8/10" spam, but since I'm not, I will support this thing that probably will change nothing because Icyblue is not going to chance his mind.

You have no IDEA how tight that string is do you? Again, such posts are fine by newbies. Whatever. Any senior members however (please note this is dictated by a combination of total posts and time been on the site), are considered spam to post such things.

Then you should add in the rules, by the rules, I mean all the rules, not onl RC and Pop Culture Rules, but all Custom Cards rules, that senior members cannot post only the rate because it is considered spam. And thanks, I learned a new word, string.

It is already against the rules to simply post a rating, or to only quote someone else without adding anything. If you see someone doing this please report the post. Do not post that you reported it (that's spam, too), just report it and move on.
