I still like Nino as the protagonist.

I don't like Nino as the protagonist... at all, really. =/ She's just, really a weak character. And most if not all FE main protagonists have been strong, not in the sense of battle, but as in, they realize "war happens, get over it."

Nino hates violence. She can't really be a protagonist of a game that requires you to kill people.

Perhaps, make Brendan leave and keep the main protagonists as his sons in Part 2 of the game?

Or even Legault or Jaffar would make better protagonists.

Jan being Merlinus, I like.

Micaiah says hi. She hated war. But No Nino Protagonist.

Starters, per se, should be-

Uhai, Pascal, Brendan, Lloyd, Linus, and Legault. They should be the Lyn's quest. With a few others.

Fine, no Nino protagonist. (inner fanboy rages)

Then who would be "Eliwood" and "Hector"?

I suggest Lloyd and Linus.

Even though they're the Cain/Abel Characters, they just have a flare to them that makes me think "These guys would be great heroes"

Besides, they also have much more reason to revolt against Nergal.

Nino would believe that Sonia was a beautiful and amazing person, where Lloyd and Linus realize she is a despiteful manipulative woman using their father for power.

I love this idea to a great extent.

Although having Nino as a main character would make sense, it doesn't, at the same time.

Like, there are positive and negative effects of her as a main character.

Jaffar is too powerful for a main character.

Granted, if Nino WAS the main character, Jaffar could be the PWNguy (there's always one, though they're usually a paladin.)

Eliwood = Lloyd

Hector = Linus

Lyn = Brendan

JAFFAR IS NOT A JEIGAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I was Ninja'd by Xirno.

BTW I love Nino, but she's not a main character.

Actually, i was thinking more like

Jaffar = Seth

Also, notice how most people in the army you get to use are either children or old guys?

But, breakign tradition can be good too, although having the leader of the Black Fang be the 'Lyn' is a bit weird.

Oh, also, I just started playing Burning Blade again, sicne I got a laptop.

I'm in Hector's story, and enjoying every moment of it.

'Lyn' in the sense he is the longest had character.

Seth = Oifey, a Sub-Archetype of Jeigan. BTW The Jeigan/Orson is Pascal.

*immediately cans idea about Nino's tale and Jaffar's tale, which would give a bit of introspect into the workings of Jaffar's mind.*

Jaffar and Nino would have to be after Sonja joins the Fang.

And also, if Lloyd and Linus were the protagonists of the main story, then they shouldn't be in Lyn's tale. Think about how Chapter 16E/17H would look if we replaced two characters in Lyn's Tale AND the Lords with the Reeds.

That'll be hard.

Speakin of, I liked Cain and Abel... but Cain died... T.T

Of course, Abel became my best swordmaster, so no qualms with that.

Hmmm.... finding Cain/Abel characters within the Black Fang might be hard without the Reed brothers....

OH, what about the Hurricane? Where does HE come in? He WAS a member of the Black Fang, until he quit.

True... Still' date=' they could travel, and just be "young" in Lyn's quest. Then go off to train together?

As long as they don't actually fight, that's fine. Remember, the characters remain constant throughout the story.

Speaking of the story, how close to canon ARE we going to be? I'd like to be as far from canon as possible. This way, Lloyd and Linus don't have to go off and die when we need them most.

EDIT: Hmmmm... Two things:

1. Legault should replace Matthew.

2. If 1 fails, the Cain and Abel should be Jan and Legault. Jan's a Brigand, Legault's a thief. Makes sense, no?

EDIT to the EDIT: I just realized if we leave Jan as the Merlinus character, it wouldn't work.
