"Oh, hi, I love your name." Christian said truthfully to the pretty red-headed girl who stood beside him. "I'm Christian." The smile he wore after his conversation with Joey still hadn't faded. He looked around as the circle took form. The normally gloomy-looking students seemed optimistic, maybe this lesson wouldn't be a disaster after-all. Mr. Harper stepped forward within the circle. "Okay, everyone, let's get started by going around the circle. and saying two things. Our name, and one sentence on the thing we feel is the most important thing for people to know about us. Use me as an example. My name is Warrick Harper, and I don't like being called 'sir'." His tone was happy and informal when he said this. The girl to his left showed a good deal of initiative and spoke up, continuing the circle.

"My name is Lisa Rain"... there was more but after those five words, Christian tuned out. He'd wait his turn, say his peace and enjoy the lesson, but the way this particular girl struck him just made him question how much he actually wanted to hear it.
