Tadpulse:

Grayish black body, mark on head should be purple (should probably be a dark shade)

plasma/aura thing around tail should be either pink yellow or bright green

 

stage 2:

grayish black body, mark on the head purple (same as with Tadpulse)

Toe ball thingies should probably be in a different shade than the rest of the skin

 

stage 3:

body (the back, most visible part on the pic lol) = grayish black

body (belly, what is visible of it on the pic that is) = purple

head = grayish black

jaw = purple

eyecolor (not the one on the back) = iris should be some kind of dark yellow

eye (back) = really bright yellow, the area outside of the black iris that is, the pupil should probably be white still.. if it looks weird being white you can color it yellow.

Okay I have a couple of ideas for gym leaders

 

There are two brothers that are Gym Leaders' date=' twins, but they hate eachother so they run one gym each. One is a really early one (most preferably first) and the other one is a late one (preferably last). The one that is early on does only use fully evolved Pokémon and the late on only uses baby evolutions/first stage pokémon/lone form pokémon (taurus etc.). The one with highest evo pokémon has evolved his pokémon stupidly (as in forcing them to evolve too early on) so he can for example have a Wigglytuff with a bad movepool but with a decent level. His brother on the other hand has baby pokémon that are increadibly well trained and strong, knowing unlikely moves (elekid with cross chop for example) and with really good stats (he has used stat enhancing medicins to make them extreme).

 

I also had an idea of a gym leader having a gym with a weather altering machine inside it that automaticly changing the weather every now and then (hail, rain, sun, sand storm, mist, are there more?) s/he obviously uses Castform and only Castform as it is the one and only Pokémon that will remain unharmed by the drastic changes of environment.

How about a Pokémon that changes looks (and maybe even types) depending on the current time (morning, day, evening, night). This would most likely be a grass type Pokémon whom's looks and subtype changes with the current time. It's stats could aslo vary a little with the time, making it better in different areas during different times of the day.

 

example:

 

morning: Grass (avarage stats)

day: Grass/Flying (good SPEED and SP.ATK, bad DEF and ATK)

evening: Grass (avarage stats)

Night: Grass/Dark (Good ATK, Bad Speed)

 

I'm also developing a two stage Bug Type pokémon (bug/water [1st stage], bug/dark [2:nd stage])

 

In the Region Department:

I think "starting town) should be located a little bit closer to the north as every starting town has always been located in the south, this way the first gym town could be in the farthest northen part of the region.

 

Town names should be based on various kinds of berries IMO :)

i.e Juniper City

Psylea.. hmm, maybe Psylit? It's then a combo of Psy and Litoria which is part of the latin name for a Tree Frog

Edit: I don't think they should use those balls, they are increadibly OP and unfair (also it would cost them a fortune just to manufacture those kinds of balls)

I got an idea. What if the game gets affected by seasons. That means when it's Winter, there's going to be snow at most of the places. If it's fall, the trees are different colored and their leaves are falling down. We can even have changing weather, (rain, sunny, hail...)

I have no problem with any of them, but we will not merge this region with everything you (stardust dragon) have done because this is a collabaorative project. We can't just run off (not even me) and decide a whole Pokémon. You can design it and put forth the idea, and then we will accept/decline or say it's okay but this needs work blahblahblah (if it's OP or something).

 

@Twig: The idea of having seasons incorporated to the region would be awesome (but remember we are creating this more so people can use it for Fan-Fics & RP's etc. so you should probably not be reffering to it as a game).

Is anyone designing the Gopher or Kangaroo line of evolutions.. Because I can't seem to find any inspiration for them :/

 

Also, what did you think about having the starting town in the northern part of the region? That way the first Gym Town could be in the farthest north of the Region.

 

having the region in the north will also bring for some interesting Pokémon living there (I'm thinking mountainious and with a colder climate for this?). The Regions "Rattata" (face it every region needs one :P) could then be a Lemming as an example ^^

I've coloured Tadpulse and it's three evolutions. Also done Arctix.

For Tadpulse, I've Gaussin Blured its tail, so any marks that went over the lines is covered up, plus it makes it looks nicer and more aura-like in my opinion. I've also filled in the little holes with yellow.

For the jaw, to make it stand out from the belly, I've made another layer, and then Dodged it. Also, I went over the eyelids to make them darker, and the same with the back eye to make it lighter.

also idea, the eye on the back of the third stage.. how would that look if it was completely yellow? (it would probably either be awesome or gruesome xD)

I was thinking about going over Tadpulse's eyes to make them stand out, but you can still see them
