Viena looked at Rex,"So, Brutus says you need to be trained how not to be noticed then. I think I will be able to help there, though it's not going to be easy with Nocturna." The Ninetales sighed and stood up,"Come on then. Your first lesson is reconizing and knowing who the members of the Stormers are and how to stay under the radar around them. After that how to fight them if (swings toward the Riolu) and only if you have no other choice." She led Rex out of the HQ, up a hill and stoped in the center of a meadow. "Your two biggest problems are most likely going to Giratina himself and a Weevile Lutetenit named Nocturna."

Celes took a few moments in responding. The question and ensuing explanation of Aero's own reasons for joining had come as a mild surprise, but Celes wasn't sure how to answer. She didn't really feel up to discussing her reasons in detail. She shrugged.

"I wanted to," she said. That was the most detail he'd probably get from her. It hadn't been like his story. She hadn't been recruited by Giratina personally. Sometimes she wondered whether Giratina even knew she existed. She wasn't important. And yet she longed to be. She needed to be known. She needed to know that someone considered her important. She needed to BE important.

Nocturna studied the few written records of the Oath's members, her eyes narrowing in thought as she gazed upon the pictures of the adversaries.

((whatever..i guessed no one read that Storm was in his own quarters. But that's fine. I'll go along with it))

Storm awoke to a bunch of pokemon he didn't even recognize. He then realized one of them was Mash. His under powered rival. "Yeah...that Draco Meteor drained me." He then looked towards the two other pokemon. Rex and Brutus. "A spy...are you kidding me. We are all good pokemon here...i doubt one of us could pose as an enemy spy. Let alone that their lieutanant is basically a top analyst. It's really risky." He huffed.

----------------

Aero smiled at her. "That's a cool reason i guess. haha!" he bursted into laughter. He then sat up and looked at the spacey sky. "I guess we all have our own reasons huh?" He said with a chuckle. "Some people think that Giratina's mean...of course he is to his enemies...but not to us. He may look all big and bad, but that's to control the order. If people knew what he really thought of him, they wouldn't respect him as much. He knows everyone in this army. Each of us plays a vitol role in it. Some of us think he'd just toss us out when the war is over, but that's not true." he said with a sigh. "Him and Nocturna are alike in many ways. HAHA!"

------------------

Giratina stared at Inferno with a fierce intensity. "What else will i do with my minions after the war is over? I will certainly not toss them out like waste. I will make sure they live happy lives. As well as all those who surrender to me." He said with a echoing sigh.

"Of course he won't," Nocturna interjected. "It would be horrendously foolish of him to toss us out." She got up and came over to the other two Pokemon, crossing her arms idly. "He has enough trouble with the resistance. Betraying his allies would spawn a new resistance, one he would have to fully eliminate on his own. Trust is crucial to any order."

Celes blinked at Nocturna's comment and gave the Weavile a puzzled look. Nocturna smiled subtly. "Some of the greatest kingdoms in the world were destroyed by a traitor. Not the betrayal itself, but the flimsier, chaotic rules that followed. Giratina is no fool. Turning on everyone at once will leave him alone, and if he wanted to rule over a barren world, then he's a fool. No rule can be without subjects, now can it?"

"But a good ruler...on the other paw," Nocturna breathed softly. "Has the support of his underlings, who will happily die to preserve the freedom he offers. If the resistance defeats us, it will be followed by struggles for power."

Celes shrugged, not saying a word. She didn't have anything to add to either aspect of the conversation. She wanted to say something wise or philosophical like Nocturna, or be musing in thought like Aero, but she didn't have anything to say.

Nocturna sneezed, blinking oddly before regaining her composure. It was odd...she only sneezed in rare occasions, and usually took it as a sign of foreboding, like the eerie calmness before a fierce storm. She could normally dismiss it as an illogical superstition, but she was a tactition and strategist and sometimes the best strategy could be based on something that on the surface was illogical.

Aero nodded. "Wow Nocturna...you're smart." he said with a laugh. He thought in his mind what would happen if the enemy actually won. No no...that won't happen. Aero then looked at the ground. "But one day...there will be a huge war i'm guessing. Each opposing side with their leaders on a high platform. Giratina and Storm will fight eachother...and it will be...just amazing. I wonder who would win..." he said scratching his chin.

Nocturna nodded silently. She liked praise as much as the next Weavile, but commenting on her intelligence was something she preferred not to publicly acknowledge. She preferred to simply hold the praise within, like a silent glow. It would be a poor display to show pride beyond professional confidence.

Celes blinked. "High platforms?" she repeated skeptically. She tried vainly to picture the scene before shaking her head. "They'll be flying," she said.

"Keh. You'll survive, boss. I know ya will." Mash smiled slightly. He had not come this far to see his rival die in some hospital bed. No, he knew Storm had a few more lifebars than this. He would make it. But then again... what if he didn't make it? There was always the chance that he would not. With this in mind, he gently held Storm's hand. "Boss. Will ya get better?"

Aero cocked his head. "Well Giratina will basically, but i don't think Storm can fly..." He pictured the two big bosses just dooking it out. A little Shadow Force here, a little Dragon Pulse there, and Storm would be done. It made him smile. He turned towards Celes. "When the time comes, we all will be stronger! I'll be a Gliscor, Nocturna will...still be a Weavile, and you will be whatever you want Celes...depends on what you want to be i guess." he said.

------------------------

Storm growled at his rival. "Of course you knitwit...I'll be fine. Draco Meteors do make me tired though." He jumped out of his bed and brushed himself off. "I takes more than 1 army of Giratina's scum to keep me down." he said with a snort.

Inferno looked at giratina "uh yes sir. I will um do my best to uh... do what you want be to do."

Inferno wondered how strong giratina was. Probably a move would kill him. He didn't need to fight now. He didn't plan on fighting giratina. He just did what he normally did. Which was finding weak points. He never planned on attacking his enemies suddenly. He was tactical and dangerous. In his head he thought "I will see what happens in the future before I make any moves torwards anyone." He did not know it but his intelligence was not as great as he percieved. He was smart, but not as smart as he thought himself to be.

Celes nodded, her tail swishing energetically. She liked thinking about a future evolution, although she had no idea what she wanted to be. All the evolutions had their perks. And if she was stronger, then she'd be more noticeable and important. She giggled a little, pausing to daydream a little bit.

Nocturna frowned. "Perhaps we should begin putting our plan into motion," she suggested calmly. It would not do to wait too long, but neither would it be wise to rush. However, after the confusion of the recent failed battle, it seemed to her that the Eevee might be able to convince a member of Arceus' Oath that she wasn't associated with Giratina, and then work could begin.

Aero smacked his face. "But Celes hasn't even accepted the mission yet...has she?" he said looking towards her. When he looked at her, he saw an Espeon in his mind. He daydreamed for a second then blushed. He snapped out of his daydream and turned around to Nocturna. "So when should we start if she does?" he asked.

----------------

Giratina didn't even look at Inferno. "Why is it that i sense a traitor around here?" he asked him. "You better get out of here Inferno...come back when you trust me some more...or when you think you're powerful enough to fight me by yourself..." he said with an echoing sigh. "I will give you to the count of 5." He disappeared. He was using Shadow Force. If Inferno wasn't gone in 5 seconds, his attack would basically kill him.

Inferno knew he was screwed. He ran as fast as he could. "had giratina read his mind?" Inferno decided to think less about his teamates and more about his enemies. He knew he would be screwed if giratina hit him. Now he started to wonder about dialga and palkia. Would anything happen to space and time if they were in captivity? He guessed not.

"I'm right here," Celes complained bluntly. "Why don't you ask me, rather than talk about me like I'm not HERE!" she growled a little. "I'll do the stupid thing." At the same time, she was trying to hide her excitement. If she succeeded, then maybe the war could end sooner and she'd be remembered as the Eevee who risked her life and time to make sure the enemies didn't get the jump on the army and destroy the world with their power struggles.

Nocturna tapped her chin thoughtfully. "We should head back. It's less a matter of when to start and more a matter of WHERE. Choosing the location with just enough importance to yield value, but not so important that security is tighter than an Aggron's..." Nocturna paused, "Grip."

"Yes! We have our spy!" Aero held out his claw to give Celes a high-five. "You're probably the most important of all of us Celes! You'll help us win the war!" he said with excitement. He turned to Nocturna. "Where would that be? A random encampment?" he asked with a cock of his head. This was going to be difficult. "Does she have to sign up for the army, or does she go up to a station and say 'hey i wanna join.'?"

----------------

Giratina reappeared. "So the fool was smart. I guess we'll see him soon enough." he said with an echoing laugh. Giratina the sighed. "That's at least the 6th person to betray me since the war...thank the Distortion world for Nocturna and Aero." He returned to the Distortion World. He noticed that Nocturna, Aero, and an Eevee...CELES! That's it, were in his secret room. He could see past the barrier that he put up. He walked through it and greeted everyone. "Gooday to you Aero, Nocturna," he then gave the Eevee a laugh, "and Celes. Why are you here?"

Inferno suddenly realized that Giratina hadn't made a move to enslave anyone or do anything bad. In a twisted perspective Arceus' Oath was just as good/bad as Giratina's Reign. Except one was more powerful. And that was obviously Giratina's Reign. Honestly, what could a bunch of pokemon do against Giratina? He had imprisoned dialga and palkia and destroyed arceus. Nothing could stop him. Inferno realized how this battle could be won instantly. He ran off to find Giratina.

Celes looked at Aero's claw blankly, her expression increasingly unnerved by the Gligar's excitement, despite the obvious praise directed towards her. Nocturna gave the Gligar a faintly amused smirk.

"A 'random' encampment?" she repeated, shaking her head. "You must have misheard. I said somewhere WITH significance. Random does not sound remotely like somewhere with known significance. To determine such a target, we would need to do a bit of research into the locations and roles of the known encampments."

"Furthermore," Nocturna continued, employing an analytical tone. "There are several methods to attempt and the option taken should be determined by which has the best chance of success." She steepled her claws.

"Option one is very straightforward. Celes would 'locate' the desired camp, make some casual inquiries, and express interest. Alternatively, she has a cover backstory to give her a reason for siding with the Oath or carrying a grudge against our ghostly master."

"Like what?" Celes asked blankly, to which Nocturna smiled.

"We'll get to that at a later time, Celes. A second option is to encounter a member or scout by alleged chance, try to create a swift rapport with him or her...you're quite gifted at such behavior, and more or less do the same thing as option one. The downside is that the one you meet is not inclined to trust you or help you reach your destination."

"A third option is to act like you're a sympathizer from another camp, and hope they dont have the time or interest to double-check. This has a very high element of risk, however," Nocturna continued. She broke off her suggestion upon sensing Giratina's presence. She could feel the Griseous chip she held quivering subtly, reacting to the presence of the full orb.

"We are making plans for our next move," Nocturna said softly, avoiding the urge to look towards Giratina. Celes was staring, but she had more tact and respect than that.

Aero sighed after Celes left him hanging. Aero then rubbed his chin. "I vote for option one. It seems the best way to go. Not to mention the easiest...except the whole cover backstory thing. But all we'd have to say is, 'Giratina destroyed my home blah blah blah' and they'd be like, 'welcome aboard.'" He then laughed. Aero then felt his chip start to tremble because of the presence of the Griseous Orb. He looked behind him and greeted the shadow dragon with a bow. Giratina eyed him then smiled. He then looked at Nocturna who still would not look at him.

"Good, good. What is the plan?" Aero chuckled.

"Apparently, Celes is going to become a spy for us. And I'll be following her and observing higher ranked soldiers...from a distance of course." Giratina nodded.

"Well, i guess we'll have to wait on Nocturna's decision." he said with an echoing chuckle.

"Well, you blasted that Gengar's ass off his body, haha!" Mash chuckled loudly, his rumbling laughter echoing in the room, almost. He knew that Storm could be angry at times, but he never held any agression against his teammates. "So, how do ya think we should do now? I mean, if that Gengar was a spy for Giratina, he's been collectin' info all this damn time. We'll be defenseless!"

"I disagree," Nocturna corrected softly. "Such a basic backstory carries all the makings of a lie. We must construct a backstory that can stand up to examination. With such a weak backstory, if anyone gets suspicious or even just curious, Celes will end up drawing blanks to most, if not all, questions unless she is particularly skilled at keeping track of details and improvising. Which she is not, I might add."

Celes winced at the Weavile's comment, but didn't argue. "But really," Nocturna continued. "A bit of concern with option one vs option two is that option one implies she goes directly into enemy territory and has enough information already to make inquiries leading her to recruitment. Whereas option two has her weasel the information from a known opponent, with the hope she will be LED somewhere for recruitment. Of the three I suggested, option two is the best bet, as she can have a sympathizer, avoid overly suspicious inclinations I mentioned regarding option one, and make use of her skills at getting people to do what she wants."

Aero nodded. "It does sound good i guess." he said with a sigh. "But you're the boss Nocturna. It's your call." he said with a smile. He looked over at Celes. "Guess we'll be hanging out a lot huh?" he said with a smile. Giratina eyed Nocturna.

"It's an excellent plan Nocturna." he said closing his eyes. "Hopefully it will help us win this war. And if it does, you will all be part of my top people in my new empire.

----------------

Storm snorted. "I doubt he's been a spy. That Gengar's a blood thirsty monster. He wouldn't have been able to control himself around all the innocent soles of this army.."

Nocturna allowed herself a small smile at Giratina's comment. As much as she looked forward to the prospect of being a high-ranked member of an empire, when the time came, she would most likely request remaining at some form of advisor or tactician, military or otherwise. It was where her interests were and her skills. Celes, on the other paw, looked absolutely delighted at the idea.

The Weavile chuckled. "I think we should head back. I want to check the locations and data on the Oath's encampments, if possible. That is the only way to prepare for the plan. Somewhere under Storm's radar, but not so remote as to be superfluous or pointless to insert a member of our league within."

Storm eyed Brutus. "Apparently you don't know your place! If we send someone in, that Nocturna will study each and every move of the spy. Much like he or she probably does with any new recrewt! Do you get it now?" he asked with a slight growl.

------------------

Giratina nodded. "We will give you your time alone then. I will be seeing you around Nocturna. Or do we need to be with you for this?" he said with a slight echoing chuckle.

"If you don't, in the meantime, I'll be hanging out with Celes. I'll get to know her and stuff." He said laughing.

Inferno ran out of breath. Then he saw Giratina. He ran over to tell him the great strategy he had in mind. Arceus' Oath wouldn't see it coming. It was hard to belive but the strategy involved some planning and retreating. Inferno wanted everything to stop. To stand still so he could work on his plan further, to the point of sheer domination. Giratina might not allow it, he thought. He might think it was foolish, or just a joke. Inferno wasn't even sure if it would work, since it involved a lot of pokemon. He swallowed his fear and aproached giratina.

Viena eyed the Riolu,"Nocturna is shrewed and cunning. Step 1 will be to build up strong mental defenses and not only will this help you against her but it will also help you against any of the other Stormer's that could have some mental way to find out who you are. Also we need to work with you identifying the other Stormer's." The Ninetales stood up,"Come on.", she said heading back to the camp,"We need to find someone that can help teach you how to protect yourself mentally so nobody can find out who you are that way. I am still trying to learn physic moves myself." Viena told Rex. Now where could he be?, thought to herself as they enterd the camp looking for a certain member of the Oath that could help her train Rex against mental, like physic or ghost, attacks and hide his true identity. "Razor where are you?"
