Auralady
"There is a battle going on now. Giritina's army has attacked!", Viena growled,"Let's go!" She raced out of the tent and headed for the field were the battle was still taking place. "If you think Rex is ready Brutus. Be carefull Rex, we don't need heavy casualties in this war!", she called over her shoulder. How dare Giritina capture the other legendaries! And fellow pokemon! Whats going on in his head!?, Viena streaked to the field and stopped on a hill above the fighting.
Mr. Hyde
((There is no fighting anymore...)) Aero sighed. "That is a very difficult task Nocturna. A very difficult one indeed." He rocked his head back and forth trying to remember. "YES! That's it. There's a secret underground cave dug by Storm himself. It is said that it contains all the files of all the pokemon there carved in stone by a secretive force of tough Sandslash. Even if we did find it, we'd have to get past them...not that it would be hard with you and I Nocturna." he said with a stick out of its tongue. evilfusion
The Weavile lieutenant gave Aero a long look in general silence, ignoring Celes' quiet whining about how no one was paying attention to her. She closed her eyes for a few moments, mulling over what the Gligar had said. When she opened her eyes, she was looking mildly irked. "I see no genuine advantages to pursuing such an agenda. Even if perhaps this story, which sounds absurd, was somehow true, the presumed effort exceeds the benefit. I was more asking if OUR side already possessed such data," Nocturna said, weighing each word as she spoke. She comtemplated pointing out the enormous logical fallacies of the Gligar's story, but found it unnecessary. "In any case, that leads us to plan B, presuming you are unaware of an area we control that contains the desired information."
Mr. Hyde
Gligar scratched the back of his head. "Uhm...In the Distortion World, Giratina has an invisible wall. This wall, if you touch it correctly, displays data on all the higher ranked pokemon we have battled in the past. Only i know this because i'm his most trusted spy. So i catagorize the data." He looked at Celes and stuck out his tongue at her. He could tell that the small pokemon was sad because of lack of attention. He was a caring pokemon for some reason. Although he doesn't like to show it often.
evilfusion
Nocturna nodded. "Yes, that would be the first place to check and since you feel so free to boast about your knowledge, then feel likewise free to lead us there." Her words were carefully laced with a commanding tone, yet shying away from being harsh or overly forceful. Despite her tone, her eyes flashed to express her firmness. Celes growled irritably at the Gligar sticking his tongue out at her, her brown fur puffing out a little in an attempt to appear intimidating. What she didn't realize was that, more often than not, she only looked adorable. But with Nocturna right beside her, Celes knew she wouldn't get away with expressing any of her irritation in physical form. Maybe later, if the two of them were alone...a small devilish grin flitted across the Eevee's face and she relaxed, her tail wagging.
Mr. Hyde
Aero nodded. He jumped into the air with a spring loaded bounce of his tail. He soared above the two and motioned for them to follow him. He gribbed a necklace of his that opened a portal to the Distortion World. "Griseous Chip, big man gave it to me. I was informed you got one to right Nocturna?" he said with a childish tone. He flew towards an empty space. Then, piece by piece, he was teleported somewhere else. A claw stook out from the space. Apparently it was a wall that no one would notice here. A wall that would teleport you to another point of the Distortion World. The wall was the only way to access this point. evilfusion
Nocturna didn't even bother hiding her frown. How could he have already heard that Giratina had given her a piece of the Griseous Orb? And although she hid her second emotion perfectly, she felt a sting of insult that another had been entrusted with a fragment. But she kept her cool, observing Aero's movements with the sharp eye of one concerned about minute details. Celes was unfazed by either the mention of the chip nor Aero's disappearance. "Come, Celes," Nocturna said, walking towards the point Aero had gone. Celes pouted, but obeyed without question, which was practically a first. Nocturna examined the point Aero had disappeared into and, lifting Celes into her arms, did a skillful acrobatic leap, her intention to touch the precise spot Aero had traveled through. She and Celes shut their eyes almost simultaneously right before disappearing bit by bit.
Mr. Hyde
Aero smiled at both of them. They were standing in a perfect paradise. A cliff in the distance spouted a waterfall and poured into a shimmering lake. The grass was fairly tall and green. Aero spread his arms. "Welcome to Giratina's private domain. A world entrusted to his most faithful soldiers. He was going to show you later today..but i asked if i could take you in early to show you the data..." he hid his feeling for the Ice-type pokemon. He didn't really ask the boss at all. "You might wanna act suprised when he shows you this room..." he said embarrasingly. He pointed out his claw. It stopped halfway. He was touching the panel and pressed onto the middle left hand corner. A portal showed up that had a different pokemon in it each time Aero touched it. First was Storm. He touched it. Then it was Rhyperior of R Sector. "Go ahead...find anyone you want, and i'll access their file." Aero said.
evilfusion
Celes dropped her pouty composure almost immediately, her eyes sparkling excitedly as she stared around at what she could only describe as the most beautiful place she had ever seen in her life. A happy purring sound left the Eevee's throat and she scampered off towards the source of water. Nocturna shook her head as Celes left their company but did not dwell on it. She again chose not to comment on Aero's peculiar amount of knowledge regarding recent happenings revolving around her. Giratina never struck her as the chatty type, especially since she outranked the Gligar. If the positions were reversed, she would not have batted an eye. Giratina had told her she had his full trust, so she knew that if Aero was right about the privacy of the area being exclusive to the trusted, her presence would not anger the ghostly dragon. She detected a lie on his lips when he mentioned asking permission, which was all but confirmed by his later remark that she should act surprised. In any case, Giratina told her to find the information she needed and if it was here, she could hardly be held responsible if it was forbidden otherwise. She was following orders, much like Aero himself had been. "Start with the most obvious. Storm. What do we have on him presently?" Nocturna asked calmly. Mr. Hyde
Aero nodded. He touched the portal. It swirled until a picture of Storm was developed. "Well...we know that Arceus of course gave the last of his powers to him. That's why he has the abnormal white star on his snout. I have also found out that he has trained with Rayquaza and recently learned Draco Meteor. It is, of course, a devastating move. Anyone caught in that will probably be seriously harmed. But his weakness are few. He protects everyone of his fellow soldiers. He stopped Inferno's whole army because of the reckless attack on an encampment. They didn't know Storm would come to save the day. But if a life was at stake, he probably wouldn't have done anything."
evilfusion
"Idiot," Nocturna snorted, reminded of how foolish the entire plan to attack had been. Hm, so the result was that Storm showed up and swiftly put an end to it all. She made a mental note to gloat about the failure when next possible. She tapped her chin with one claw, studying the image of Storm. With Arceus having given the last of those powers, that made Storm the equivalent of a demi-god. He was far too dangerous to be taken on directly and those powerful attacks, especially Draco Meteor, would likely make short work of any one who tried to challenge him. That was expected of the most powerful opponent they had. "I'm sure I'll come up with something," Nocturna mused. "Let's focus on another, lower ranked officer. Who fits that?" Mr. Hyde
Gligar's tongue stuck out in concentration. He tapped the screen but held onto it until a picture showed up. "Let's see..." he said with concentration. A picture showed up of a Starmie. "That's Gem. It leads a small encampment on an island in the sea. It would be an okay place to attack since it's over the sea. Storm probably wouldn't be able to rush over there as quick. Plus Starmie's aren't all that strong...well to you anyway." he said with a smile.
evilfusion
Nocturna shook her head. "Don't judge strength by a specie," she warned seriously. "We aren't searching for targets just yet. I want to know anything we have on an officer's strengths and weaknesses before forming ideas of whom to attack and how and where. Likewise, if Storm cannot be assured to be absent, making a plan on the basis he will be absent is asking for failure." She steepled her claws again in thought. "The Rhypherior...what do we have on him?" she inquired.
Mr. Hyde
Gligar gave her a very sinister grin. "I just got the dirt on him today." he said with a chuckle. He tapped the screen as a picture of a Rhyperior came up. "Well for one, he has no ability unlike us. He gloats about having the Solid Rock ability, but that's just a lie he tell's so he doesn't seem weak. Second, he's not that smart at all and will keep on using Rock Wrecker if he's frustrated. It would be a good strategy to use fast pokemon to get him agrivated and wait for him to get tired from the Rock Wreckers. That's about all i got on him so far." he said with a tap of his tail.
evilfusion
Nocturna clicked her tongue pityingly. "Are you sure he doesn't have Lightning Rod and just believes he has Solid Rock? And I disagree. It is rarely a wise tactic to frustrate your foe, who will be wielding crushing techniques, and try to wear someone out. It's a fair idea, Aero, but not the best to execute." She paused to consider the information Aero had given her. "Is that all the information we have? I feel it's still insufficient to prepare a tactical assault on any of them without further information."
Mr. Hyde
Aero nodded. "I'm sure he has no Lightning Rod ability. I saw him trying to get struck during a thunderstorm. They came close but did not hit his horn at all." He then added, "I believe you're right. Even if we did have enough info, Storm would appear out of nowhere and just crush us all..." Aero sighed. "This is terrible...we need a way to prevent Storm from attacking us...so we should declare a fake attack on a farther encampment so he'll try to get there first...right?" he asked.
evilfusion
Again, the Weavile shook her head. "No. Once it's clear there's no attack on said encampment, then everyone's guard will be up and the ruse will be discovered. We may have to bide our time first, anyway. After those idiots made an attack earlier, there's almost no way anyone will drop their guard at this time. We'll have to be subtle if we intend to do damage. Waging war so soon against the resistance will only cloud our objectives, which is stability." She smiled briefly. "But, that doesn't mean we would stay out of the way. If we could infiltrate their ranks, have someone on the inside, we could begin a stage of espionage where we could be alerted to the resistances movements against us and crush them when the inevitable fight occurs. At the same time, the insider could gather information about the officers and notable members and fill in the blanks we have here."
Mr. Hyde
Aero then looked at the Eevee playing near the lake. "I'm guessing she could go in right? She doesn't look like she's all that evil, although i do believe she's wicked on the inside to have joined this army. Just like we all are." Aero sighed. "I'm just think that it would be kind of predictable, you know what i mean?" Aero jumped off his tail away from the portal. "Is there anything else we need to discuss?" he asked her. .:Abarai Renji:.
((I joined via PM, if anyone wonders. Gliscor accepted my idea)) "Yo, big boss! You hurt or anything?" a loud, rumbling voice asked as a Nidoking closed up on Crash and Storm. He had many scars on his body, the biggest one being a scar that ran from his left eye down to his waist. He had clearly been in many fights lately, and all of them with one and the same person; Storm. He did not hate him, he just challenged him for fun at times. "Yo, your wounds seem pretty nasty and right-down bad, y'know what I'm sayin'? You should get some recovery, ASAP."
evilfusion
Nocturna clicked her tongue. "Evil is such a strong word. There is no truth in the belief that all beings are either good or evil. Some people are merely ambitious and willing to do whatever is necessary to accomplish their goals. Do not forget, most people believe their actions are inherently righteous, either to themselves, the world at large, et cetera." The Weavile chuckled. "From our point of view, the resistance wishes to destroy a world order, and keep the chaos alive. We disrupt their stability to preserve our own and vice versa. No doubt they view themselves as doing an immense favor for the world, but they might just be little more than self-deluded terrorists." She turned her gaze towards the spot Celes was staying. "And yes, an Eevee is partial to minimal suspicion for the task I'd like to assign. However, she is often uncooperative. I doubt there is a cruel bone in her body, but she is certainly ambitious. Unfortunately, the ambition is selfish, unwilling to make sacrifices of resources for others when the same resources can help her, albeit slower." Mr. Hyde
OoC: Because you didn't give me an app for rex. And Key, each time a new person talks, you're supposed to enter... Aero nodded. Only because he didn't know what Nocturna was saying. "Then i suppose we are at a stalemate. We need someone to get on the inside if we have to. But who's to say that the resistance hasn't already sent someone on the inside...maybe that's how Storm knows of the attacks." Aero suggested. ----------------- Storm turned his shoulder to see his Nidoking sparring buddy. "I'm fine...that Gengar didn't do anything at all to me." Crash smiled. He was in the presence of Storm the Great.
.:Abarai Renji:.
"KEh, I knew that ya wouldn't have and probs with that Gengar, aye?" smirked Mash, which was the Nidoking's name. He and Storm had been competing with each other for a long time, all ever since that time he challenged Storm when he joined the Arceus' Oath. That was his very first battle against him, and thus, his wounds left him in a coma for three weeks. He did not seem to have learned from his mistakes, as he almost daily challenged Storm to one-on-one duels, but this was not one of these moments. "So, Boss? What are we doin' next?" evilfusion
Nocturna couldn't hide a frown at Aero's suggestion, and when she spoke, her voice was solemn. "Hm, a remote possibility, I'll admit. This makes it crucial that, until we can be certain, we keep secret matters to ourselves rather than spread them about like jam." The Weavile didn't presently believe that anyone in their ranks could be a member of Arceus' Oath, but it was strategically wiser to be cautious in times of turmoil, rather than dismiss a valid threat as paranoia. The prepared triumph over the reckless. With that in mind, she would have to monitor others that she interacted with. "In any case, I can nominate Celes for the task. She has yet to fight in battle against the resistance, so it is highly unlikely they know of her allegiance. However, we also need someone capable of passing information she may find, as well as backup if something goes wrong," the Weavile lieutenant shot Aero a look. "Know anyone suited to that task?" Auralady
Viena's tails went back to their normal curled up postition and she layed down on the hill she had arrived at. She didn't like this. Something's comming and it's going to be a disaster when it does. she thought. "When a storm suddenly receeds it allways gives birth to a tempest.", she said remembering the saying she had heard a Dewgong say once when she was still a Vulpix. She sighed. "This is wrong. We should be united and Giritina needs to be de-throned!", she whisperd before getting up and heading back down the hill towards camp to train and prepare in case of another attack.
