Dr. Percival Cox
The Pendragon Serires by D.J. Machale is also another of my favorite books. The series is about 14 year old Bobby Pendragon who has a normal life, until his Uncle Press appeared with a mission: protect all of time and space from a demon named Saint Dane, a cold-blooded villain who wants nothing less than the dismantling of humanity. This is all you need to know about the series that is up there with all my coveted fav series.Dissscus... Theseus
What the hell? Travelers can't die?! That pissed me off big time. -.- I kind of liked the Second Earth Traveler (not Bobby, which is such a plain name. He should have something cooler, but the other one, I think it was Alexander?) [/quote'] the thing about alexander ,is that he is one of the main antonogists (opposite of protonogist)and is killed by bobby when bobby tackles him of a helicopter. good times! Theseus
Yeah, which doesn't make sense. Wouldn't he be sent to that battlefield place where all the other Travelers were after they died?
SparkWyvren
Yeah' date=' which doesn't make sense. Wouldn't he be sent to that battlefield place where all the other Travelers were after they died?[/quote'] he is "evil" so my reasoning is no............which dosen't make sense. maybe it's because there can only be 1 travler from 1 place and him and bobby had a fight and bobby won so..... Theseus
Well, Bobby also gave himself up as a Traveler on whatever-that-place-was when the flume closed up, so he shouldn't have been able to go to smoky land.

Headmaster Monokuma
I love the series. Also, if you haven't read the last book, don't open the spoiler.

It's not that hard to understand why Naymer didn't go to "that smoky place". Saint Dane wouldn't go to that place either. I don't want to spoil it, but Saint Dane has much larger goals then you know. It involves lots of power.
Shradow
I've finished up to book 8, and I'm trying to find book 9 somewhere. It's an awesome book series, though. Pendragon looks different in almost every book cover, I've noticed.
Survivor
Amazing work. I wish that movies would come out. It would be VERY difficult. They are so lengthy and detailed that an enourmous amount of money and time would have to be used to make it even close to correct. Anyway, it takes so long for the plot to be established in each book that the movies would be roughly 5 - 7 hours each, if rushed.
Dr. Percival Cox
If made a movie series it would have the longest string run and would probly be the longest movie played in all the movies played ever(maybe).
Survivor
Oh. No question. 5 chapters in a book could make up a movie. They would have to split each movie into 6-7 parts in order to fit it all.
Dr. Percival Cox
For all that trouble they might make it a tv series

Also' date=' I got to meet the author at a special Book Club in my area, and he's a really cool guy![/quote'] Gr, I hate you now. The place I live is filled with, how to say this, narrow minded people. No chance of something like that happening here.
Survivor
I think that a movie might ruin the experience unless its done exactly correct. Look at the Percy Jackson movie.
Troy89
I have only read the first four books because my friend introduced the series to me not so long ago.
CarlinFan
Great book series. Loved it. Much better than Harry Potter (though that isn't saying much).
