EliminateHRN
Thanks. I'll defiantly be able to finish these last two books before it comes out.
Survivor
They better change the movie and make it more like the book, or I'm going to have a problem. The fact that the only things that are the same are the basic plot and characters upsets me. They took so many liberties on it...urgh. Chris Columbus sucks. EliminateHRN
Eh, I haven't watched the movie yet, but they didn't change the Eragon movie, so I doubt they will with this one.
~Hado~
I'm done the whole series, excluding the demigod files and the character files (boring). Yay for me X)!
Heliosora
The books were the most amazing thing I read. I own the entire series and I read it before any one I knew began to read it. When i saw the trailers for the movie I was so pissed. It was ridiculous cause everything I saw was completely different from what I imagined. Rick Riordan's novels are amazing my mom got me The Red Pyramid and it kept me from going on the computer or playing some video games. I love the books so much and i really hope the new book the Lost Hero is going to be amazing.
EliminateHRN
My mom told me last night that The Lightning Thief was fourth on our list of movies coming on NetFlix. I read that it isn't like the books, so I'm not expecting much. Still excited though. On a related note, still haven't got my hands on The Last Olympian yet. Having no money sucks. Sp1at
I'm still reading the first one. I can't seem to get to continuing for some reason. Maybe it's because I'm always on the road this summer.
Chiron
Hoho! My thoughts are that Percy should end up with Rachel. She is cool. Annabeth sucks. Grover pwns. Chiron pwns². Poseidon is coolz. BTW, we should have this emoticon in this site:
Inexplicable Madness
The books were the best. Especially Battle of the Labyrinth and The Last Olympian. The movie was horrible they totally butchered it...
kid2695
i read the first book in the series when only the first two had been released, these books are the reason for my obsession with Greek mythology, and my dream of being a writer. i can honestly say these books have changed my life BTW the movie was awful, i reread the entire series in a week just to get it out of my head. Kiyo
I've read the first two (and the first chapter of Titan's Curse), and I actually like the first better. There was something about the first one that kept me reading (I finished it in two nights), but the second seemed to drag on for some reason.I do hope I get access to the last three, and the sequel books when they come out. Kagamine
I love the series!!!!!! I was sad when it ended. :(The movie sucked though. I hated it, it was nothing like the book. Books are allways, allways better.I read the whole series three times :D
VGVentus
I liked the book series, though the movie was not that good...The only thing new and good in the PJ movie was the Hydra, that's it...
Guest Merciful Idiot
Just finished the entire series. It's awesome. I can't wait for the next series, and the next book, The Lost Hero.
Kagamine
Just finished the entire series. It's awesome. I can't wait for the next series, and the next book, The Lost Hero. Some one else was talking about a new series coming out, but I thought it ended. Is Rick Riordan just writing a different series? I'm confused.... Guest Merciful Idiot
The first series of Camp Half-Blood was called 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians', and it's ended. Now there's a second series in the making, called 'The Heroes of Olympus', and the first book would be called 'The Lost Hero. Here's proof. Same setting, same continuity, same characters, along with new ones.
Heliosora
So yesterday I saw the movie and I was horrified about what Chris Columbus did to the series if he had followed the source material it would have been an amazing movie. If it didn't have the Label Percy Jackson I wouldn't have minded the movie since it wasn't involved with my favourite book series. I think he was trying to recreate his stupid love for Harry Potter but tried to use Percy Jackson to fulfill it cause the way and that series I couldn't even get into since I found it ridiculously boring. He could have literally recreated the book into a movie because they was so much description and source material. It was a bit entertaining after I stopped criticizing it only because they was a fair amount of action.
Kiyo
Aw, Lost Hero might be in third-person? I really liked Percy's smart-ass narration.
◎Kaleidoscope
I read a sneak peek of Lost Hero on a Kindle...[spoiler=Spoiler Alert]New dude wakes up on random bus w/ Mr. Hedge (u remember Gleeson :)), doesn't know who he is, everyone around effect by mist, think hes their classmate. He, of course, is a demigod, same w/ 2 (supposed) bffs. Storm spirits Attack, gleeson goes over Grand Canyon fighting em. The Annabeth and a buff dude arrive, hoping to find Percy who has been gone for 3 days missing. Thumbs up for bad grammar and quick writing. Guest Merciful Idiot
'New dude', I theorize, is the son of a Titan. Thalia wasn't like him so he probably isn't the son of Zeus.
DeathMuffin97
My friend had been convincing me to read them. I read them. I love my friend even more. AND THAT MOVIE WAS TERRIBLE!!! It changed the plot so much... some directors suck.
Lord Ursus
The books are very nice, though I am currently just in the middle of the first one. I trust I can expect much more goodstuff?
Goldeneagle
A fantastic series, I've ordered the first book of the sequel series 'The Lost Hero' which I hope will be just as good.
Darkest Hour
It's a series printed specifically to milk some teenager's ego who did not do the research on what he was writing about. You can only do so much with a fiction story before you make people want to quit reading.
