Unlike other rumors, this one has 2 edges.

 

1) The person with the rumor in hand also perfectly called all the characters being added to SSF4 (not counting Juri, T. Hawk, and I think Dee Jay because they were already confirmed at the time)

2) Ryota Niitsuma (the producer of Tatsunoko vs Capcom) said that if sales went well for TvC, they might announce another vs game.

 

So if this rumor turns out to be true, who'd you like to see return (c'mon, you can't honestly expect them to keep the whole MvC2 roster and then add MORE) and who'd you like to see make their debut in the Vs. series?

 

Also, to make this thread abide by the rules, discuss some of the other Vs. games, specifically the ones between the Marvel characters.

Viewtiful Joe (Apparently, he's a silhouette in a trailer. I'm not sure which one, but I can definitely say that

is definitely not it.)

Update: Silver Surfer and She-Hulk (seriously?) may possibly be confirmed.

 

First is She-Hulk, the much less likely of the two. On the Shoryuken forums, a poster claimed to have had a chat with Seth Killian. He claims that Seth stated that either Daredevil, She-Hulk, or Phoenix Wright would be a playable character. Fast forward to an MvC3 live stream, where Niitsuma deconfirmed Wright and Daredevil. Basically, it all comes down to the validity of the post.

 

[spoiler=Then there's Silver Surfer. This one has much more merit to it due to this:]

As you can see, Silver Surfer is shown alongside Dr. Doom and Super Skrull, both playable characters from the Fantastic Four universe.

 

Here are some other things found out from the article this was supposedly taken from, taken from EventHubs

• Niitsuma runs through the playable Fantastic Four cast of Doctor Doom' date=' Super-Skrull, and now Silver Surfer, who will be shown off later this month. There are no screens of Silver Surfer yet, just a little portrait along with the other two fighters from that series.

 

• Silver Surfer is very quick and has a unique playstyle. He never stands on the ground, instead he's always hovering on his board, and he's recommended for advanced players. Doctor Doom was suggested as a good place to start for Fantastic Four fans who are new to the Vs. series.

 

• They've added more attacks from the Invisible Woman to Super-Skrull since the last public build.

 

• Also, Niitsuma mentioned that the Fantastic Four play a major role within the basic plotline of arcade mode, and that the final boss should be familiar to fans of that series. [/quote']
