El Make
If you have HG, why would you restart this game? Unless you have a DS/Lite for Pal Park, why?
Thesius
Iloved my RUby game, but then I lost my GBA with it in it. I was so sad, but next week I'm buying Ruby, Sapphire, and Leaf Green (Never played this one or Fire Read D: ) I'm so excited :D
MarshyK-XS
no offence but the worst of the pokemon generations. the only good pokemon to come out of there were salamance, flygon and kyogre good guide though ~MK

But other than that, it's my favorite Gen.
MarshyK-XS
I for some reason just dislike it D:. when you get a water type you have to teach it 3 HMS 2 of which are used frequently. I am a big fan of all generations but this one is the most disappointing. I ythink it was the big switch from GBC to GBA but still salamance is cool. Also the leaders are very simple apart from the 5th and 7th. ~MK EDIT - tipsparty i would suggestSceptileSkarmoryAbsol ManectricGyarados / starmieFlygon / aggron or sceptileskarmoryabsollanturngyarados / starmiecamaruptflygon / aggron good? Bad?
Eury
If you have HG' date=' why would you restart this game? Unless you have a DS/Lite for Pal Park, why?[/quote'] Because it's a fun game. >_> Just cause I have HG doesn't mean I can't play other Generations. Like Mr. Sir, this is probably my favorite Gen. Absol is beast. I still need some tips on what Pokes I should use.

Thesius
I can't remember, you need a cord to tade between other games with the 3rd gen? And you can use those cords with a DS? SceptileSkarmory (Use Skarmory)AbsolLanturn/Gyarados/Milotic (All of these are great in-game)Manectric (I used him because he's on of my favorite Elecetrics, and he's great in game)Flygon (Every team needs a dragon :D )
MarshyK-XS
you need a cod to trade Fishy? And you can use those cords with a DS? what are you talking about? Action Replay?
Eury
I want to use Ludicolo REALLY bad but then I'd have 2 Grass types. D: I'm probably going to use Manectric or Magneton for my Electric type. Or I might get a Lanturn to cover Water and Electric so I can get 2 other Pokes, which will probably be Flygon and Aggron/Gardevoir.

Eury
Okay so I've decided.SceptileSkarmory (Swellow till I get Skarmory)AbsolLanturn (Pelipper till I get Lanturn)FlygonAggron/Gardevoir I still need to choose between Aggron and Gardevoir. D:
MarshyK-XS
ludicolo would be a good pokemon to have but maybe lanturn would be better to get some of the more powerful beasts in there? I like gardivoir but I prefer Kadabra / alakazam if you cant trade due to the high SP ATK. Lanturn provides a very good cover due to its high HP and is only vunrebale to ground or grass types that means it should be brilliant for the E4. Aggron in my opinion is an awesome pokemon but is a pain in the ass. Aron / lairon are not the strongest so I wouldn't recommend getting an aron from an early level. However aggron can learn surf to allow another move to the HM packed water type at the end of the day sceptile is a good grass type and ludicolo is also good but if you were to choose ludicolo maybe this?ludicolomanectricalakazam / gardivoirabsolcamaruptskarmory or ludicolomanectricalakazam / gardivoiraggron camarupt swellow I would however use sceptile ~MK EDIT - gardivoir because of double steel type use and is also handy to have
Eury
Aggron is indeed a pain to get, but once you get him it pays off. I'm probably going to get Gardevoir. It'll be used more than Aggron and I don't have a cable to get Alakazam. D:
Slash
Of the Pokemon you are thinking about using for your last slot, I would suggest Gardevoir :P

Eury
I remember once on Sapphire I used Shedinja throughout most of the game (stopped using at 8th Gym). Using him against Brawly was funny. xD Does anyone use Shedinja in-game? Or has anyone ever used Shedinja for in-game play?

Eury
Only reason I didn't use him in the E4 is because almost everything in there can kill him. D: I tried using Ninjask once, that didn't last very long.
Godot
Ruby was my First Pokemanz game. Anyways, in Sapphire, I used Shedninja throughout the whole game. It was fun.
MarshyK-XS
ninjask is sirprisingly a strong pokemon. ninjaskswords dance X-Scissor protect (status move maybe toxic) speed boost to give him a big edge swords dance with x-scissor is quite fatal. I prefer scyther though ~MK
