"A fact I believe you to be well aware of is that the way I just played isn't normally the way I play. I stall, I irritate, I defend and then I win (OoC: This is basically a description of any decent FLIP based deck). Not only will this confuse possible opponents that are trying to defeat a big name by countering his strategy rather than playing there own, but will also scare the weakest. Don't forget I'm the number 3, just the number 3. The strength of those who stand above me, people will guess and imagine that. The weakest would already be scared of his own fantasy of that." Pierre al said this while checking out his deck. "There is one thing I’m sure of right now, the weakest could never have the eye. Scaring the weak so the strongest will be left over. This is me doing what I thought was the best for our plan. I humbly hope I have done nothing wrong"

Xero entered the arena, and walking beside him was the guy who he met at the seats.

"Ready to get pummeled to dust?" The guy said and smiled at Xero.

"Don't be hasty..." Xero said and walked to one of the duelist spots while the third duelist, a blonde girl, entered the arena. Xero raised his hand to the sky and suddenly a white, flying thing appeared from the distance and landed on his arm. It was apparently his Duel Disk and it activated at the moment it attached to his arm.

"DUEL!" The three duelists yelled out in a chorus, and they all drew their starting five cards.

"I will start, and sadly, I won't even get a chance to see your strategies." Xero said and looked at his hand. He then drew his sixth card. "The final piece... I wanted to end this quickly, looks like the gods is with me!" He separated one card from the rest and revealed it to his opponents. "This is a permanent Spell card called Forced Execution!"

When he placed the card on his Duel Disk the holographic version of the card appeared on the field.

"That's not all, however!" Xero then pulled another card out of his hand. "I activate Spell Switch!" Another holographic Spell card appeared. "This card let's me give one of my permanent Spell cards to my opponent, and I'll give it to you!" He pointed at the guy from before. "Now, I'll be given the opportunity to take a Spell card from your hand!" Xero left the duelist zone and walked up to the guy. The guy showed him his hand, while his face was sweating. "I think I'll take this..." He took a Spell card out of his opponent's hand and went back to his spot. "Now, I will summon Galactic Turbo Alpha!"

A small, kidlike humanoid appeared clad in white, red-trimmed armor styled after a dragon.

"Monster effect! When Galactic Turbo Alpha is Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon a Galactic Turbo monster of Level 4 or lower from my hand! Also, you guys get to draw two cards each" Another warrior appeared, this one looking like an adult, but still clad in dragon-esque armor, except this one had tires instead of feet. The two opponents drew two cards each "Galactic Turbo Dasher! I activate his effect too!" The warrior's wheels started to spin in a very high velocity. "By letting you draw a card, his Level is increased by one!" Both opponents drew a card each. "Synchro Summon!"

Stars that cluster into a new galaxy! Combine to create an unstoppable force! Synchro Summon! Unite, Galactic Turbo Dragon!

While Xero was chanting his Galactic Turbo Alpha turned into three rings that encaptured Dasher, who turned into five stars. A line of light was shot through the rings and stars and out of the light arose a big, mechanical looking dragon.

"When he is summoned, we all draw two cards!" Xero said and drew two cards, so did his opponents. "And now I'll activate a card that was 'given' to me!" Xero looked at the guy and smiled. "Synchro Killer Strike!"

"But the only monster on the field is your Dragon, are you intending on destroying it!?" The guy smiled victoriously. The 2nd in Command of the Nexus couldn't be this bad, could he?

"Yes." Xero humbly said. "Synchro Killer Strike destroys one Synchro Monster on the field, and the controller of the monster draws a card for each monster used in the summon of that monster." Xero drew another two cards. "And now the fun starts..."

Suddenly, a light shone from the Graveyard Zone of Xero's Duel Disk.

"When Galactic Turbo Dragon is detsroyed by a card effect, I can Special Summon him again, but then my opponent draws two cards!" An evil grin was painted on Xero's face. His opponents drew two cards each, but suddenly the guy who had teased Xero dropped his cards and looked at Xero as if he had just had an heart attack.

"B-but... That means..." He could barely speak, and suddenly Galactic Turbo Dragon exploded.

"Yes. The Forced Execution on your side of the field automaticy destroys my Dragon, but I will just keep on summoning it untill you guys runs out of cards!" Xero laughed maniacly as his dragon kept resurrecting and getting destroyed repeatedly while his opponents drew cards untill their decks were all empty.

"A-AMAZING!" MC shouted in the mic. "Xero Skyblade, the duel genius of Duel Nexus destroyed both of his opponents during his first turn, and he didn't take nor deal a single point of damage! SUPER!"

((Xero is THAT badass. He will never do that combo again though, cause it's OP'd.))

"I guess it can't be helped" said Pierre to Cultin. "When you are allowed to call your self one of the best 3 duelists around you tend to get the need to show off a little of that strenght, Xero did the same thing. They just let to many weak guys onto this tournament. I can't help but feel like that you won't be able to hold back either when weak guys go act though."

"Impressive." Damon murmured as he saw Xero destroy his opponents. Then he looked up and saw a "ROUND 4" glittering on the stadium. "My turn." Damon realized, and he walked down, from his seat to a opening passageway, down into the bowels of the stadium, and finally out into the stadium itself. His opponents, a large male, and a small, rather mousy woman, were waiting for him. "Heheheh." The man cracked his knuckles. "Time to smash some heads." Damon didn't respond but simply raised his Duel Disk. "DUEL!" The other two shouted. "I start." Damon said. "I'll summon Genetically-Enhanced Master Mole (ATK:1000 DEF:1400) in face-up attack mode. Now, I activate his ability, which means I can send one Spell Card that increases or decreases points, to the Graveyard in order to increase my lifepoints by that amount. I'll sacrifice my Genetically-Enhance Shoulderplate." Damon selected and card and placed it in his Graveyard, and his lifepoints jumped from 4000 to 4700. "Now, I'll set two cards face-down and end my turn." The backs of two cards shimmered onto the field.

"My turn," The woman said. "I'll summon Blood-Sucking Koala (ATK:1800/DEF:1500) in face-up attack mode. Now, Koala! Attack Master Mole!"

"Not so fast!" Damon shouted. "I activate Hold Steady! This allows all the damage I took during this Battle Phase to be instead applied during your next Battle Phase!" The woman and man looked on, confused, as Master Mole was destroyed, yet Damon was unharmed. Why would he worry about this little bit of damage? "This card applies during your turn, too." Damon told the man.

The man growled at Damon and just summon a Vorse Raider (ATK:1900/1200) is attack mode and ended his turn.

"Are you serious?" Damon asked. "You couldn't even get around my measly trap? Well, I can see my talents are being wasted in this duel. So, I'll just end it now."

"Huh?" The man and the woman said in unison, as if they planned it.

Damon smiled, then said, "I summon Genetically-Enhanced Master Snake (ATK:2000/DEF:2200) in face-up attack mode. Yes, I know he's a Level 5 monster, but by removing one "Genetically-Enhanced" card from play, I can subtract one star for one turn. Now, I activate my other face-down! Wild Nature's Release!" Damon's card flipped face-up as Damon triumphantly said, "With this, my Snake's attack is 4000! However, Equip cards that aren't "Genetically-Enhanced" cards make Snake self-destruct, and when he does...we all lose lifepoints equal to his attack!" Damon watched victoriously as his opponent's lifepoints shot to zero, and his to 700. They looked up at his, shocked. Damon did a fake bow and said, "Well, thanks for the duel!"

OoC: It was my turn to duel, right? I'm not sure 8P

OOC: Noone had 5 right, because I'm not going to wait. I'm changing cultin's to 5.

IC: Then the number five flashed onto the screen, along with Cultin's face and two other people, each of which he paid no attention. Of course, at this he took his hat off and bowed, revealing his face with an evil grin on to the people who had sneered at him. Some teen below him didn't look that scared and even grinned, as he stood up. On the board the teen's face showed. "Well now Pierre." Cultin said, his eyes looking behind him although he didn't move his head. "You really think I'm a show off. You dont know me. I have two decks, and I'm using my easy one for everyone except you two. Of course, if I stumble into the holder of the Eye, I have just the card in both decks." The Cultin replaced the hat to his head and walked down the stairs to the field. When he arrived on the field he opened a briefcase which noone had noticed, and pulled a small tube out of it. He placed the tube on his arm, and an almost holographic, but physical dueldisk appeared on his arm. "Now, my friends. I apologise but I wont be dueling you today." Cultin said, recieving shocked looks from the crowd and the two competitors. "Oh, I will be using a deck, and a dueldisk, and I will be placing cards on my dueldisk, but I wouldn't count it as a duel. You dont have a chance." Cultin then tipped his hat up and smiled. "I draw and activate The Embrace of heaven. This excellent card allows me to discard three dark type monsters from hand, or discard ten cards from the top of my deck. And since I'm running a lightsworn deck, I have no dark monsters. Now I have ten cards in my grave, and I have counted five lightsworns in it. Now that is perfect. Now I activate my Cursed healing, allowing me to summon up to five lightsworn monsters from my grave, and turn them into accursed monsters. Now, I have two Garoth the accursed Berserkers, two Gragonith the Accursed lizards and one, get this, one Accursed behemoth. The accursed behemoth is level three, but it is a synchro monster. Now I would normally synchro summon at this point, but first I would like to activate the Halfling spell card, halfing the level of all monsters on my side of the field. And I have two of them here, but no more cards. But that doesn't matter. With my monsters equalling level five, I'll synchro summon one of my lesser monsters, Byron, the accursed Rifleman. Now, when this level five monster is synchro summoned, you lose 800 life points and I lose 500 life points for each monster used to synchron summon it. Meaning you each lose and I win. Good day to you." And with that, Cultin took his hat off and bowed, before placing it back on and climbing back to his seat. When he was seated his sighed and said to Pierre, "You dont have to go all out to win in one turn."

OOC: If that made no sence, please tell me which part and I'll see what I can do.

OoC: You both do realise that you should post a link or a compleet description of created cards when you duel against real players right?

"A Duel Very well played, I didn't expect anything less than a first turn victory from you sir. (OoC: Yes from now to adress both of you I will use sir, it fits my character better) But to think I have gone all out is a missasumption. My deck holds many aces, and all I did was use my favourite one. And don't forget that anyone that would try could easily find out the strenghts and weakness of our "ace" cards. Also, I don't think I need to ask this but, did you by any change get any feeling that one of your 2 victims had the eye?

Xero had now joined Pierre in the crowd after his victory.

"No. None of my two opponents could've had the Eye, in that case I would've felt it." He said, watching as Cultin defeated his two opponents in one turn, just like both Pierre and Xero had done. Suddenly a young chap walked up to Xero. It was...

--

Kuroda walked up to Xero.

"Hey, Skyblade!" I think I've seen you before..." He said and looked at Xero.

At the sight of Kuroda, Xero felt a shock in his head and a sweat drop fell from his forehead, but he quickly shrugged it off.

"No wonder, I'm one of the best duelists in the world..." Xero answered.

"No, not that!" Kuroda looked at Xero with a strange look. "It feels like I've known you for a long time, the moment you played Spell Switch..."

Xero felt a shock again, but he acted like nothing.

"Heh, I've used that card in many of my duels. Now get out of my face." Xero held up his hand to tell Kuroda to go away. Kuroda looked at him, but the turned around and walked away.

Something doesn't feel right about that kid... Xero thought, looking at Kuroda as he walked away. He then turned to the dueling field again.

((That post would be too short for the AC, so let's ignore it's shortance and keep ourselves from doing that. I didn't notice Cultin returned to his seat at the end f the post, sorry.))

Xero looked at Pierre and then after the kid who had left Xero's line of sight.

"Most certain. I watched his duel earlier, and he was skilled. A possible candidate of possessing the Eye."

Xero looked at the dueling field again. Group 6, who would be the next finalist?

"So the finalists so far is us three, Kuroda and a guy named Damon? this could be interesting..."

((I just received another application which I am going to accept. Since I figure magnet's second character will be a finalist, there's only two finalist spots left, so first come first serve. The ones not filling finalist spots will have to be "supporting characters".))

OoC: Who else is joining? Just curious.

IC: Damon saw the boy walk dejectedly away from where the Nexus Ter was sitting. Damon had seen that look on many Nexus Ter fans before, when Damon was doing his...research. Standing up suddenly, Damon walked over and intercepted the kid. "Hey, you're that Kuroda kid, right?" Damon asked. "The one that won the first round. I'm Damon. I was the guy who just dueled...and, yeah. Wanna see who we'll be coming up in in the next couple rounds?" Damon asked.

(OoC: Sorry for the short content in my last post, I forgot about the AC >_> I won't do it again)

"I don't hear you talking good about other people's there skills very often sir, he definetly sounds promising. If you would like me to I could test out his skill right now, outside of the tournament." While pierre said this he was also following that weird kid with his eyes, and had seen that another victor had joined the kid. He believed them to be talking with each other but he could hear it.

((I just noticed something about Cultin's duel. If Behemoth is a Synchro Monster, how did it go to the Graveyard through milling?))

"Yeah, my name's Kuroda Naoki. Nice to meet you!" Kuroda said and looked at Damon. "I only know we're going up against all of the three Nexus Ters, which is rather bad looking at the skills of those guys." Kuroda took a seat and looked at the dueling field. "Hopefully I will go against one of the other four duelists. That include you... Damon, right?" Kuroda leaned forward on his seat. "I'm damn sure I've known Xero for a long time, I just can't put the pieces together..."

--

Xero, without looking away from the arena, said to Pierre.

"No need to do it now. IF he would possess the Eye, the Eye would kill him once they were separated." Xero chuckled at the thought, showing the grim side of his personality. His face then turned serious again, without looking at Pierre. "Anyway, if that happens, the tournament would be stopped, and we would not be able to reach the Continent through the blimp."

((I know Xero told Cultin about the blimp, but we should asume that he had told Pierre earlier.))

Damon nodded at what Kuroda said, then suddenly Damon felt like they were being watched. Turning ever so slightly, Damon saw Pierre Glace looking at him. "Don't look now," Damon said softly, sitting down next to Kuroda. "But I think you caught one of the Nexus Ter's attention." Damon leaned back in his seat and waited for Kuroda's reaction. He looked up at the stadium screen. So, I wonder whose coming up next? Damon silently wondered.

OoC: Just accepted. Im not sure how to enter so I'll do it like this and if I'm mistaken just correct me ^^. My app --->
Name: Akya Temuji

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Faction: Duel Nexus : If there is still room, Nexus Ter

Appearance: With long dark brown hair that fell gently to her shoulders, Akya Temuji takes pride in her hair. When people see her they see the long glistening hair that flows behind her when she runs, the soft blue/green eyes that melt even the strongest men's hearts, and the soft perfectly colored lips. Her hair covered her ears which were slightly bigger then "small" that are curved at the top. Completing the beautiful face of this beautiful girl is her small "cute" nose. To top it off her skin was ever so silky and smooth to the touch, which sent a shiver of exitement through those who touched it. Most of the time when Akya is seen in public her long hair would a shine to it and is almost always "let down." She felt that it went perfectly with her favorite outfit of a simple school girl skirt, with a sleeveless tank-top that stopped just above the belly-button. Although when this was not an appropriate dress code, she would wear an outfit that others saw as oldstyle. She thought that just because that it was out of style didnt mean it wasnt cute, so she wore it anyways. A school girl shirt with a school girl skirt. Short and sweet. Her last distinguishing feature was the small emerald in the center of her forehead.

Deck: Vicious Archithans (my creation. Link:http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-160778.html)

Ace Card: Vicious Archithan - Minotarus Graginon

Biography: Akya was born and raised in the old ramparts of the Satelite Sector. Her parents, who had grown up in the expensive area of Neo Domino City, had decided that the old Satelite was a good place to raise Akya. Akya made a few friends but more enemies. She was well known for her skill in dueling and her taunting quips. When Akya was 9 her parents were picked up by police officers and taken away. Akya grew up the rest of her life alone and in an abandoned hardware store. There she made her own Duel Runner that was later taken by the same police that took her parents. When she was 15, Akya stole a Security Duel Runner from a Security guard that was then declared missing 3 days later, and modified it and escaped to the richer part of Neo Domino where she met one of the Nexus Ter. She took up their offer and joined their ranks and in the process achieved the nickname "Beast Queen" because she owned the entire Archithan archetype when there were only one of each card. When she duels she attacks with mercilessness and hatred.

and I hope it's alright if my character already knows Xero, Pierre, and Cultin since she's also of the Nexus.

A tall young woman wearing a short black and white checkered skirt and a white shirt with black stars that stopped just above her belly button, walked slowly into the room that the other duelists were now congrigated. Akya brushed a few strands of her long brown hair from her eyes that were now sweeping the room. She knew that she had obviously just arrived in time. Her eyes flitted to a table that was hosting 3 familiar faces. Xero, Cultin, and Pierre. Smirking, Akya made her way to the table and set her hands down on the table and leaned forward.

"Hello boys"

OOC: And Obviously C.C, your character isn't Nexus ter. Are you going to say that she's just a very high Rank? And one other point, we are in the crowd, not in a room. And I think I've thought of a Bio for both my characters, and they relate to each other. However It may sound a bit weird, so I'll Pm it to Kuroda first.

IC: Cultin just nodded To Akya, who had just arrived in the stands. He was bored of people who thought they were the best, and she always seemed to emenate that kind of feeling. Then he looked down at the entrance to the Arena, noting a face among the shadows. He's Here. But why? Cultin thought, pulling his hat over his face to avoid being rcognised by the man in the shadows.

Meanwhile, The man stepped forward into the Arena, his face on the board. He hid most of it by his Brown cap but his mouth and hair could still be seen, his mouth in a devil like grin. "Now, let's kill some people." He muttered to himself as he entered the dueling arena. Two other people entered with him, each activating their dueldisks.

OoC: Lol I know im not in the Ter. Kur notified me I just copied and pasted from my app i sent Kur, and I dont think I'll be a high rank maybe well known but not high ranked. And alright cause I saw something about a table so i just assumed ^^. Thanks for the tip.

IC: Akya continued to glance around and noticed Cultin. She snorted in slight humor, before turning her gaze from him and pulled her deck from its pouch on her left thigh. She glanced at it once and began to shuffle it. Once she was satisfied by the shuffling she slid it neatly back into the blue pouch. She continued forward, slipping between members of the crowd until she reached the one she recognized as Xero. "Hey," she said with a slight wink "What's up?"

Xero at the newly arrived Akya.

"Hey?" Xero sounded surprised. "I didn't know you were here, we didn't tell you to enter the tournament, so I asume you did it for your own causes?"

--

Kuroda looked at Pierre, who was watching them.

"Pierre. Meh, I don't care about it. I just hope I will get the chance to face Xero in the finals..." Kuroda also leaned back in his chair and watched as another three duelists entered the arena.

Akya nodded and glanced around. "I thought it'd be good fun, has anything exciting happened yet?" She ran her fingers through her dark hair and closed her eyes breathing in deeply at the feel of her sleek hair. "I saw Cultin but I didn't approach, I have the feeling he doesn't quite like me," she snorted is slight disgust and wrinkled her nose "Not that I care." She sighed and dropped her hand down to her side glancing behind her into the mass crowd.

At the exact same moment Akya had snorted, Cultin had rolled his eyes. Many people thought that Cultin was slightly carefree and laidback, but he thought of Akya as damn near childish and immature. He hated her. But he could tolerate anyone, so he looked towards her and Xero and said, "Us three have dueled, leaving just you of the Nexus to duel. You better not disappoint the crowd. We dealt with our opponents in one turn each." To answer Akya's question. Then he turned back to face the duel, just as Damien won. Atleast, Cultin knew he had. A set up Cultin had seen before, and one more card would finish it.

Damien sighed. He'd already won. "And now, I'll sacrifice the three reaper monsters on my field to summon my signature card, the Reaper himself. Now, I'll activate my last card, Reapers revenge. This card allows me to sacrifice half of my life points, in order to attack twice no matter what the condition. Sadly this does not repel counter traps. But you dont have any traps so it's alright. Now, Reaper, attack them both!" Damien said, before walking off.

By now, Mark had actually fallen asleep, his head resting on the table he had been sitting at...but he then suddenly woke up, blinking.

"AHH!! WHOA!!! Aiii...huh? Is group 5 up yet? I'm getting bored..." Mark yawned loudly, getting to his feet, and stretching. He glanced at his deck.

"...It's not just me, My Dragons are desperate to get some action..." Mark grinned, glancing around.

Akya glanced at Cultin from the corner of her eyes, "Hmm...I dislike rushing," she turned her head completely to look at Cultin, "I think I'll savage him over a few rounds." She tilted her head to the far right, then to the far left. "Speaking of dueling...I wonder when I'm up." Akya turned to Xero, "How do we know when and who we're up against?" she asked, raising her hand to her hair once more, twirling it around her index finger.

Xero looked at the display showing the groups.

"That guy who just won was Group 5, that means that Group 6, 7 and 8 remain. You would be in one of those if you were entered into this tournament, which I asume you are." He pointed at the display. "There you are."

--

Kuroda watched Damien's duel.

"Looks like we're up against a lot of skilled duelists in the finals..." He said and leaned forward in his seat.

OoC: Damien, Damon...uh oh, this is going to get confusing. Moltissimo.

IC: Damon looked around. "Huh, its Round 6, I wonder where the duelist is?" Damon wondered. He glanced down at a handy pamphlet he had picked up. "So the says here the duelists coming up are a woman named Akya Temuji, another lady named Kris Scythe, and some guy named Mark Tennant?" He looked up. "I wonder which one of them is going next..." He looked up and sighed as he waited for the next duelist to arrive.

Akya looked in the direction that Xero had been pointing in. Her eyes fell upon the display. "Looks like I'm in group 7," she noted allowed. 'Hmm...Should be good fun...' she thought bitterly to herself. She turned back to Xero. "I assume you won your duel?" she asked. She already knew the answer but she wanted to hear it from Xero himself. She felt that she would definitly win her duel but she was still slightly apprehensive.
