Plot:

Neo Domino City, the city of dreams and duelists, has been in danger multiple times since it was built, but each time a group of duelists has fought back and defeated the danger. The Crimson Cup is about to be held, as a tribute to the great Crimson Dragon and the five Signers that fought back the evil that attacked the city, and duelists from all over the world is readying their decks and Duel Disks for the tournament. At the same time, a small organization known as the Duel Nexus has been created, led by the Nexus Ter, three of the most known duelists ever, this organization is participating in the Crimson Cup. However, the number of casualities is increasing greatly in Neo Domino City and some thinks that this has a connection to the Crimson Cup or Duel Nexus.

Appearance: Mark is pretty tall at about 6'3 in height. his hair is short, spiky and blond, making him look a little taller than normal. He wears a Black shirt with red stripes down the sides of the shirt and the sleeves, Blue jeans, White trainers and a gold belt, and has birght, emerald-green eyes.

Biography: Mark has had a bit of a Hard Life. At the age of Seven, a Fire Broke out in his home, which was just on the border of Domino city at the time. Both his Mother and Father were killed in the fire, which left him to be raised up by his Uncle, who worked for Kaiba Corporation at that time. Because of this, Mark quickly got into Dueling, and now live's off of the money he win's in Dueling tournament's. He entered the Crimson Cup to test his Dueling skills. He's unaware of Duel Nexus as he want's nothing to do with groups, due to being quite the lone wolf.

Faction: Duel Nexus, 2nd in Command of the Nexus Ter

Appearance: Xero has white, spiky hair with strokes of red color. His eyes are icy blue, with an eyepatch sporting the Duel Nexus emblem covering the right one. Xero has a white coat with a grey shirt underneath. He also wears black jeans and black boots.

Deck: Galactic Turbo

Biography: Early in life Xero was orphaned due to poor parents. At the orphanage he started dueling with the other kids but he wasn't very good at it and his deck wasn't very strong. When he was 14 he was in a car accident and lost his right eye. Everyone thought that he was going to die, and when he was at the hospital he participated in a Make-A-Wish Foundation by Industrial Illusion and he had his dream deck being made into real cards. With this deck he dueled other kids and he decided to become the best duelist ever with this own deck of his. Some think that it was his strong will that kept him alive. Anyway, after he recovered his reputation as a duelist quickly grew and he is now known as one of the best duelists in the world, one of the three Nexus Ter.

Appearance: Tall, black hair, green eyes, a blackened scar over his right Eye. Wears a black suit and tie. Also wears black fingerless gloves with a red Nexus logo on it and a a short Top hat which he normally uses to cover his face.

Appearance: Tall, Blue eyes, brown hair. Wears a Grey shirt and faded Jeans. Also wears a brown cap over his hair.

Ace Card: [spoiler=The Reaper][spoiler=Lore]This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by tributing 3 dark or fire type monsters on your side of the field. This card is also treated as a fire attribute. This card is also treated as a zombie type. This card gains 1000 Atk points for every fire or dark attribute monster in your graveyard. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card battles you can tribute this card to inflict half your life points to both you and your opponents life points. Once per turn, discard one card to destroy one machine type monster on the field.

Appearance: Black Hair styled to the back, a bit of a wimpy nose, and Yellow eyes. He wears a White T-Shirt with a Black Leather Jacket and Black Jeans. He wears Black leather gloves with the Duel Nexus emblem on his left one. He also wears yellow shoes. Other notable things are that he is pretty short and sometimes wears sunglasses

Ace Card: Freezing Emperor's Dragon

Biography: Because of his short posture and his wimpy nose he was often bullied. This made him to become very shut and silent. But even while being bullied he remained calm and coolheaded. Until one day they went to far and he snapped and hospitalised the bullies. After that some started calling him the "Calm Madmad". Because of his appearance he looks a bit like the Butler of the other 2 nextus Ter, and because of his calm and obedient nature that was smashed into hi, he perfectly acts like that too. All what Pierre is really trying to do is for himself to get the freedom to say what he wants. He does this by becoming strong enough so nobody can object him.

Biography:Kris's family was very normal until his dad lost his job as a director, few days later Kris's parents were captured and Kris was raised in a foster home and duels all the time with his foster home's parents' kids. He believes dueling everywhere is the only way he could find his parents. When he was 19, he moved away to Neo Domino city.

Appearance: Marine blue, ruffy hair and green eyes. Kuroda wears an open, blue jacket with red trim, a black t-shirt and brown pants. He also wears a pair of white trainers and a pair of goggles on his forehead.

Biography: Kuroda was adopted at the age of 7 and after that lived a fairly normal life in a fairly normal family. He is a mediocre Duelist who participates in the Crimson Cup to find new friends and to increase his dueling skills.

Ic:As a beautiful morning begun, Kris walked outside to smell the fresh air, He just wonders how he can duel to find his parents...There he saw a strange guy..and he whispered to himself, "Oh my gosh, is that Xero Skyblade the second in command Nexus Ter? I should talk to him..I guess..Or maybe even get a chance to duel him!

IC: A man in a suit walked past a shop. At first he thought it was abandoned, it was run down and noone was inside, when an old man walked in. The man looked i'll, but the cards in his hand were almost shining, and they were rare. The guy in the suit walked in the shop and bowed. "I would like to purchase them there cards of yours. How much would you like?" The man asked, pulling out a breifcase. The old man pulled the cards closer to himself. "These are not for sale. I'm sorry." The man in the suit sighed and shook his head, before pulling out his own deck and grabbing an old dueldisk of a shelf. Then he tossed one at the man. "You have to, or you die." The man in the suit threatened, as he attached a device onto the dueldisk. The he placecd his deck in the duel disk.

A couple of days earlier...

 

Three figures are standing in an almost completely dark room. It's only lit up by a holographic display that is floating in the middle of the room. The picture on the display shows a mass of land, like an island, that is floating in the sky.

"I have done some research, and this is what we are trying to achieve." The figure who was neither the longest nor shortest spoke. The figure then walked straight through the hologram, and when he was on the other side he turned to it again. The hologram shifted into a picture of a pitch-black ball. The ball was painted so that it looked like a black eye, with spikes going from the red iris into the pupil.

"And this is the key to find it." A picture of the island appeared in the corner of the display. "It was once called 'the Eye' because of it's shape, and I think that someone in this city owns it. I just don't know who." The figure walked through the hologram again and faced his two comrades. "If I am right, we should look for it. That is our goal."

 

Now...

 

Xero was sitting at a cafe, enjoying a cup of tea.

 

((Yes, the three figures is the Nexus Ter, and the one speaking is of course Xero. He's only 2nd in command, but they should all (at least pretend to) agree with Xero on finding "the Eye" to achieve "the Continent"))

"Hmmm Hmm...'Even through the darkest days...This fire burns...always...'" A young male was sitting in the same Cafe Xero was sitting in. He had earphone's in his ear's and was gently singing the same tune that he was hearing to himself. He Meanwhile had all of his Card's on the table in front of him, and was organising his deck the way he wanted it. He grinned as he looked at his Most Powerful Cards: Five-Headed Dragon, Armed Dragon LV10, Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8, Felgrand Dragon, Tyrant Dragon, and of course not forgetting his Red Eyes Darkness Dragon, and of course it's Brilliant Metal Counterpart.

"...You and me boys. We'll take ourselves to the top..." HE said, grinning, as he took a gulp of his Lemonade (He prefer's Cold Drinks to Hot Drinks).

Kuroda stared at a poster depicting three duelists, one with spiky orange hair, one with spiky blonde hair and one with spiky black hair with yellow strokes. Behind the three duelists was four dragons, Stardust Dragon, Blackfeather Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend and the Crimson Dragon.

"The Crimson Cup starts tomorrow..." Kuroda said to himself and then pulled his deck out of his pocket and looked at the top card. Dragunity - Phalanx. "Together with you guys I will surely win!"

"If I may speak" The shortest of the three figures had started to talk, "If we where to look for this Eye, how would we find it? Would it mean we had to search through the pockets of every citizen and every tourist to find it? This person that could have the eye, with no further detail, then he could be gone any minute. Thee must be another way." After saying this the little guy stepped back a little "I’m sorry if I spoke for my turn here"

 

OoC: If it sounds a bit weird, that is because I’m trying to make him sound as humble as possible, something I definitely am not.

((Xero spoke to Pierre and Cultin three-four days ago, but we could play it out like a flashback esque thinie))

 

"The owner of the Eye is under it's control, and the Eye knows that it must remain hidden."

Xero was quiet for a moment. "Duel them. I promise you that if the duelist your facing has the Eye, he or she will emit a strong aura that you will most likely notice."

Suddenly the display shifted into a picture of the poster announcing the Crimson Cup.

"I feel that the Eye is close, and with this upcoming tournament we will have the perfect chance to find the Eye."

Flashback:

"Very Well" said Pierre "I will do my very best to locate this Eye." As he said this he walked away, having perfectly faith in the fact that Xero had given him al the possible details.

 

Now:

Pierre was sitting on the roof of a cafe he liked to come sometimes, looking at the people walking in and out. Because of the nearing Crimson Cup the number of duelist had gone up quite a lot. and especially around this cafe you saw more people with Dueldisk than without, and even without some where a duelist. Pierre also didn't like wearing a dueldisk, he had one that you could break in 2 pieces and hid both of them in his jacket. "There are just to many people in this town, dueling every person who can duel will take more time than searching threw every persons pocket. What I really need is a person who stands out" he said to himself as he continued to observe people knowing it wouldn't help him one bit, he just liked observing people.

The Crimson Cup Opening Ceremony

At the Kaiba Dome, fireworks was shooting into the sky and exploded in a cascade of light and colors.

"Everybody listen!" MC yelled. He was getting a bit old, but he was still as energic as he was during the Fortune Cup and WRGP. "Welcome to the Crimson Cup! Today, the 24 duelists that did best during the qualification rounds will battle in groups of three. That means that we will see 8 spectacular Battle Royale Duels today!" Suddenly, a holographic displayn appeared in the center of the dome and displayed 8 squares with three pictures in each. Each picture depicted a duelist. "These are the groups that will duel today! We will see the Group 1 Duel in 2 minutes!"

Xero looked at the display. He was in group 3.

"Group 3." He simply said to himself. "What a tidious wait."

 

((Every character is in their own group, meaning that none of them will be disqualified during this round. We're only 7 characters right now, so if an 8th character joins then it will go to the finals. If anyone joins later they will not be able to participate in the Crimson Cup. Also, anyone can have the Group 1 duel, first come first serve.))

Mark was standing towards the back of the ceremonies. He glanced up at the square's that had appeared on the large screen.

"Hmm...Group...5 that appears to be...man, we've gotta wait a while...Meh. No matter. I'm a patient guy. I can wait..." He said, smirking, as he glanced at his Five-headed Dragon again, before placing it at the top of his Deck again.

"...I wonder who'll be Dueling in group 1 then?" He muttered as he walked toward's the rail, to watch the duels begin.

((During the flashback))

 

A man in the corner, one in a suit with his feet on the desk infront of him, and a hat covering his eyes, tipped his hat upwards to look at Xero, the man who had just made the speech. "Well, good plan Xero. One question, Dueling that many people could prove a problem. Someone will no doubt get suspicious. Perhaps not as suspicious as the pocket searching, but still suspicious. Say, hypothetically, that the Securities show up. What do we do then?" The man said, placing his feet on the floor. He looked over at Pierre and then back to Xero. "Because there will be questions. We are the leaders of the most famous dueling organisation in the city."

 

((Now))

 

The old man shook his head. "You need manners. But if you want a duel, you can have one. I'll start by drawing a card, then I'll summon a celtic guardian in attack mode, and I'll place one card face down. Then I'll end my turn." The old man said, placing two cards on his dueldisk. The man in the suit tipped his hat downwards, covering his face even more. "That's a good move you made there. Most would see it as making use of a useless hand, but that facedown is obviously a trap, and you have something in your hand to back that up. Good try of unnerving me, but that wont happen. I'll draw." The man said, drawing a card in a seriously over dramatic style. "And I'll activate this card, Light circlet. This is a card that allows me discard cards from my deck to my graveyard, untill I stumble upon a Lightsworn. Then I get to Summon that monster in a position of my liking. Now I'll start discarding." The suited man said, as he started to place cards in his graveyard. When he drew his fourth card, he placed it on his duel disk, and a dragon with a unicorns horn on it's head appeared on his field. "This is Gragonisth, the Lightsworn dragon, and you just lost. Now, I normal summon Garoth, lightsworn warrior, from my hand in attack mode, and now.....I activate a spell card." He said, placing a spell in the spell and trap zone.

"That's why the Crimson Cup will prove itself useful." Xero said, turned around and looked at the display that showed the poster of Yusei, Jack and Crow. "'The Eye' will be in the finals, I feel it. And then..." He held his open hand out, palm facing upwards, as if he was holding a ball. "We will be there to take it!" He closed his hand with an intense power.
