Cyber Altair
The Xbox 360 is actually more expensive' date=' because of this: [b']System itself=300[/b]Live/yr=50 Those are necessary, and the hardware is VERY OVERPRICED. lolnoOnly if you buy an Elite, which is more of a pimped out 360.A normal "Arcade" 360 is only $200 :P You mean a shitty Arcade that everyone I know told me to avoid? yeah. If you like innovative' date=' motion control, and platformer games, go with the Wii.Xbox 360 has the best online, along with the best exclusive games. We may have to pay to be online, but we get better deals on items, and get Map Packs / add-ons before PS3 does.If you like racing / fighting games, maybe go with the PS3? I wouldn't know, since it's the one out of the 3 I don't own.[/quote'] lol innovative XDlol best exclusive XD Why would I buy a PS3 for racing games when I can play the best racing game there is: Forza Motorsport 3 as a 360-exclusive? Gran funking Turismo 5? Read= Xbox360 vs PS3 The Wii is great too if you have brothers' date=' sisters, or friends that can play with you. =D[/quote'] I agree with a guy. That's exactly my point. //Zeromaru//
Don't get a Wii. Thats a family and sort of party-style (I suppose) game console. And there are only a few games that I would recommend for a single player. I am a 360 fan and will never goover to the dark side, but I will admit that if you've got the money a PS3 would be a very good choice. They have plenty of Exclusive games that I want. Anti-Apocryphal
Yall are all right saying the Wii is a family-friend thing. Too bad i play it by myself 95% of the time! But it can still be fun with solo games such as Mario Super Sluggers.

Windowlicker
I would have recommended the PS3 for running Linux on it, but Sony decided to go and funk everything up with the firmware update.

It's just that a majority of the games are also included to support multiple people, but they still can be just as fun with a single player. And I can lash back saying that the other two systems are somewhat dependant on their online activity, meaning you won't have as much playing your Halo or CoD without online play or friends. Seriously, who plays gun games alone?

It's not shitty xDUnless you are someone who is so biased against the 360 such as yourself. It actually doesn't have many differences to the Elite, aside from the obvious color difference, and the fact that the Elite includes a hardrive, and a headset :P

Flame Dragon
Don't look at the console but rather at it's exclusive library. Also I'm sure there's a ton of great PS2 games you still haven't heard of that are worth trying out.I This perfectly sums up my view. If you want more help' date=' you need to tell us what kind of games you like. Don't get a Wii. Thats a family and sort of party-style (I suppose) game console. That is the factor that makes you go for the Wii or PS3. you also need to think of what games the system has that you really want. I have a list of 20 something good games that are only on the Wii and it's in the Wii thread so if you want to check it out you can look there.. I like plat-formers, some RPG's, action, etc. The reason I like the Wii is the Multiplayer features, so then I could play a game with me, my brother, and 2 friends at the same time instead of having to take turns all the time. Ghost-O
If you want overall more competitive home games, get the Wii. If you want a variety of online multiplayer for quality and quantity, get the Xbox 360. If you want good graphics, support, and software, get the PS3. Guest JoshIcy
Also Icy is another idiot because there is no console which is built around a couple of genre's. Ignore him. I mentioned controller feel for what the games are preferred for <_<". How is that idiotic? I'd LOVE to see you play SF3:3 on the Xbox 360, then on the Ps3 and tell me you don't feel a drastic difference.

Death Metal
I suggest a Wii over a PS3. It has tons of exclusives and it's much more interactive. Not saying that the PS3 doesn't have it's good points (Superior graphics, some good exclusive games) but the Wii should easily fit your needs. Just don't buy crappy games for it, otherwise your experience will be ruined.

Poseidon©
I suggest a PS3 over the Wii. It has tons of quality exclusives and it has much more variety (not just party games/minigame collections/fighting games/etc). Not saying that the Wii doesn't have it's good points (awesome gameplay), but the PS3 is much more capable of other things. Plus it's online is much more refined than it's Wii counterpart. Wii for entertainmentps3 for graphics.IDK about 360Hope this helps and good luck finding a system:) What? You can use the PS3 as a blu-ray player, DVD and CD player as well as play songs, movies and see pictures from a flash drive. How does entertainment become a good point for the Wii plus there isn't the huge difference in graphics of multiplatform games between the PS3-360. Aesirson
Depends on what kind of games you like. The Wii's games are more for kids while the 360 and PS3 has more grown-up games. I, personally, like the 360 the best, and I own a Wii and 360.
