Darklink, I did watch the anime. And read part of the manga, up to the debut of the Zero suit. Then I discovered the spin-off manga only series.

 

It's always been one time per person. The only reason it worked more than once on some people is Orange-Kun's Geass Canceler, well, canceled the first time he did it.
