[spoiler=Episode 1] "Come on! Come on! Come ON!!" Yuji Tsuamni was waiting on the bleachers of the testing arenas. He was waiting for his test results to get back, and he was really nervous. He made slip-ups several times in the duel out of anxiety, but still managed to win.

 

-flashback-

Yuji's LP: 2400

Test Man: 1200

 

"Okay, if I can successfully Special Summon my Seven Colored Fish with Water Hazard's effect, then I can summon my King Coelacanth from my hand because its level is reduced to Legendary Ocean's effect, Then I can use his effect to get my next guy out."

Yuji planned this strategy for days now, and he finally got to try it. He looked around at the Legendary Ocean Field Spell surrounding him. He also saw the Water Hazard's hologram in play. It was simply fish pulling ropes connected to floats. In front of him were the opponent's monster. Plants. His opponent's field had Botanical Lion and Cactus Fighter.

"I activate Water Hazard!"

Then immediately the calm fish pulling ropes made a wave and a giant fish emerged from from the wave.

"I Special Summon Seven Colored Fish. But I'm throwing this catch back into the water! I tribute Seven Colored Fish to summon. Let's real it in, Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth!"

The multiple-colored fish then swam up to the top of the Ocean they seemed to be in. Then suddenly the ground beneath the two players erupted to reveal an abyss. Then a giant sea fish erupted from the abyss carrying a trident. The giant let out a giant roar.

"Next I'll activate Deepsea King's special ability! By discarding one card, I can summon as many fish type monsters I want! Now I summon 2 Royal Swamp Eels, Oyster Myster, and another Seven Colored Fish!"

The giant fish then raised its trident and motioned it in a circle. The circle that was made turned into a whirlpool. Then that whirlpool turned into 4 whirlpools. Monsters emerged from the whirlpools.

"Now I'm tuning my Royal Swamp Eel with my Oyster Myster, and my other Royal Swamp Eel with Seven Colored Fish!"

The Eel with a crown then disappeared into 3 circles covering the Seven Colored Fish. The same thing happened to Oyster Myster.

"I bring out Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon, and Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!"

The light of the summon faded to reveal 2 Immense Sea Serpants. The both let out a roar and took place in Yuji's Trio of powerhouses.

"Now I activate Brionac's effect! By discarding 2 cards, I can return 2 cards on the field to their owners hand, and I think you know which ones I'm returning to your hand. I choose Botanical Lion, and Cactus Fighter!"

The two monsters turned into cards and were sent flying into the Test Man's hand.

"Now I finish you off with Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier! Attack with Sheer Cold!"

 

-current time-

One duelist sat next to him. The duelist was a girl.

"Hi. I'm Margie."

Yuji looked to his side, and saw her.

"Hi, I'm Yuji Tsuamni."

Yuji got a better look at the girl. He noticed glasses, and saw a paper in her hand. He read the grade she got. A-.

"I see you made it to Duel Academy."

"Oh I did. My mom lent me her Deck. She did pretty good with it a long time ago."

"What kind of Deck is it?"

Yuji didn't want to sound snoopy, but if a deck like that got an A-, then it was no doubt good.

"Oh, it's a Fortune Deck."

“Well your mom must have had good skills.”

Margie closed her eyes and smiled and leaned back. She sighed a bit.

“Yeah, she did, but enough about me and my dueling, how’d you do?”

Yuji scratched his head and looked up the steps of the bleachers he was sitting on seeing if someone would come down with a paper with his test results. He didn’t see anyone, so he had to give her the truth.

“I don’t know. I won, but I’m not sure if I made it.”

Margie looked to her right and saw him shaking his leg in anxiety.

“Well I gotta go home and pack for my trip, hope you make it.”

Yuji waved back at her running up the steps.

“Yeah I hope so too…”

Minutes later, a boy with a hoody, and jeans came up to him.

“Hi, are you Yuji?” Yuji nodded.

“Well I finished my test results, they told me to bring this to you. They’re your test results.”

The boy took out a paper. Yuji quickly snatched it from his hands and looked at his grade. He read over the comments of the categories he was tested in. Style- Yuji Tsuamni shows much style in his dueling. Skill- Yuji’s deck shows a thought out strategy that shows his potential as a duelist. Originality- Yuji brings the best out of the originality of his deck. A.

 

“Yes! I made it!”Yuji cheered all around. He was finally able to go to Duel Academy. He thanked the boy who gave him his results, and left the testing grounds to pack. He told his parents the news. They already had his things packed. His dad had a feeling he would make it. They spent the rest of the night celebrating. His baby brother woke up from his nap and started mumbling. The day after, Yuji took a bus to the harbor. He was going to the academy by boat.

 

[spoiler=Episode 2(short)] Yuji Tsuamni boarded the cruise ship that would take him to Duel Academy. He passed the exam with his fish deck. He didn't feel that comfortable on the ship because there was no one he knew. All of a sudden he saw Margie. She was the girl that he met at the test arena. She ran a Fortune Deck that her mom lent her. She looked confsed as if she had no idea where she was. Then she looked over at Yuji, and smiled. Yuji waved at her smiling. She ran over to him and started talking to him.

"So you made it Yuji? That's great." "No I didn't make it, I just brought my clothes and my deck here to swab the ship! Of course I made it." Margie laughed. For hours they spent time in Margie's cabin talking. Then the ship's fog horn sounded. The two looked out the porthole and saw Duel Academy. On the side of it, they saw a Turbo Dueling track. They heard that the Academy added one, so they were excited. The ship docked at the harbor and the two got there bags. They crossed the ships boarding platform and approached the speakers. The speakers let out a large buzz. Then a voice came out of the speakers

"All Duelists please walk toward the Academy's front side to recieve your placements." The giant group of duelists walked toward the academy's front. They saw three attendants wearing 3 different colors and with a ton of carboard boxes. Duelists stepped up toward them. They then began calling names on their clipboard. Then a ton of names sounded off. Duelists began walking towards the people that called their names. They then began recieving uniforms by the dozen. Then Yuji heard Margie's name get called by the man in yellow. She stepped forward and recieved a yellow uniform. Then all of a sudden. "Yuji Tsuamni?"
