"Nono," Daena said, shaking her head. "I'm not angry at all." Daena took a deep breath before continuing. She was still very nervous, after all. "I trust you enough that I feel you wouldn't do that on purpose..." Daena stopped talking again, and didn't resume until she had closed her eyes. "...so... yeah." Daena opened her eyes here and forced herself to look Josh in the eyes. "We've been partners since we came to this world .... so...... so don't worry about it!"

Irenia was surprised that Daena was having such a hard time speaking, so she added in her own words. "Yeah, we're all friends here, so it was OK for you to kiss Daena!"

This caused Daena to blush, but she didn't realize it. She was regaining control of her outer emotions, but it wasn't like it was in the past. On one hand she could easily see herself being attracted to Josh. On the other hand, logically, he was the only other adult male tamer in the group, and she traveled with him the longest. Even knowing this, she refuses to acknowledge those facts, even to herself, rationalizing it away as trust issues and other things.

"Well..." Daena said, quickly changing the subject. "I think I smell food." As she took in the aroma, the small hunger she had became more pronounced. It was no longer about finding a distraction now as it is finding the food. "Is someone cooking?"

Josh was happy to let Deana do the talking and just simply listened to her. There was a few times when she would say something that would get him uncomfertable, like when she had mentioned them as partners; since he took it in another way. When she had finished her rambeling, which was what anyone could tell she was doing, Josh stood up and nodded his head in agreement, "Yeah . . ."

Then as if on que to purposely make things worse for the two Irenia chimed in with her unwanted, and definately unneeded, comment. That simple sentance sent both of them turning red and makew Ave, who'd been listening through the open window, laughing with a very loud squack. Josh turned in annoyance and slammed the window shut on his partner and shook his head but couldn't help but laughing either. "Yeah who wouldn't want too," he admited to himself and glanced back at Deana with a smile.

Maybe he was alright seeing this way. After all she was beautiful and they had been traveling together since they first met. They had been across wide planes together and had even worked for an old man and a unicorn together. So what if they eventually . . . you know . . . stayed together. Shrugging his shoulders Josh thought it wouldn't be too bad if he had to stick around Deana and let it settle with that. Once he had made up his mind Deana mentioned something about food.

"Oh yeah Harriet is in the kitchen cooking breakfeast for everyone!" Sammie said standing up and holding both of his arms really high, "She found last night that the kitchen is stocked full of things to eat! We got lucky when we stole this thing!"

"You mean 'borrowed', right?" Josh said eyeing the kid with a bit of ridicule. Though his situation with Deana had been put to rest he still didn't like the idea of Sammie being a thief. Sammie merely brushed Josh's comment off and grabbed both of their hands to lead them downstairs to the dinning room.

The knights took that que to check Arty's pockets and sure enough all they had found was strw and a couple bgird feathers; though even those weren't anything of importance. Shoving the two men away the knights knew neither knew each other but were still tresspassing on royal grounds. One had claimed he didn't know anything about this area and was a traveler while the other remained silent about why he was here. Then Arty managed to luck up and say something which the knights of Nomen, or any Nomanien for that matter, was obliged to grant- courtesy. Nomanians were well known as the most polite people in all of Orai. They would easily cross the street to help someone during rush hour traffic and then wait to help them across despite any inconveniance to themselves. With a wave of his hand the other knights seathed their swords and the captian stepped forward. Lifting his helmet to reveal the face underneath it was suprising the he was a she, a young woman that looked to be no older than nineteen or twenty. Placing the helmet underneath her arms she looked at Arty first, "Very well since you claim you are from afar how did you find yourself here?"

"I can't wait!" Irenia eagerly said as she flew after the Sammie pulling Josh and Daena by the arms. Daena herself was content with being dragged along like this; after all, it didn't seem like Josh considered her strange or selfish or anything, so she was satisfied for now. Irenia, of course, would have to prepare for a verbal reprimand in the future. Not that was on Irenia's mind at all right now. The smell of food was getting stronger, and that was what on both girls' minds.

"Glad we don't have to worry about food for now," Daena said. It was the first time she was having food made by a creature. Logically, they should be able to, but just to be sure...

"Hey Sammie," Daena said, still being strung along. "Is Harriet's cooking good? Does she use her hair to cook?" That last question was *very vital*, since random hair in food is truly unappetizing.

'Does Harriet use her hair to cook?" Sammie repeated as he lead them around the corner and then actually thought about it for a bit. Turning back to both of them he grinned and nodded his head, "Yeah she uses her hair ALL the time."

That got the natural reaction anyone would've expected as Josh's gaze slowly went over to meet Deana's. They were about to eat food made by someone's . . . hair? "It better taste good or I might not be able to eat breakfeast ever again," Josh thought to himself as they got lead into the kitchen. Looking up he could see the two people from before sitting down and already picking up their forks. He was honestly stunned to see them there, last he knew they went the other way, "How'd you two get in here?"

Sven had only a few weapons on him, all within their respective sheathes. He didn't motion to remove them as it would probably cause more problems. Though he hated people who felt they were higher in status then he was, he kept his cool. Sven rubbed Trago's head to calm him down as well since starting a fight would be pointless right now. When they asked them the question, Sven was about to answer but was cut off by the other Tamer. Just when he went to answer next he noticed the knights dearm themselves and the Captain step forward. After she asked the question, Sven felt it best for him to speak about the issue. "It is apparant he is not from around here. He seems to come from another city from another land. I too am not from here and am just passing by. However I did notice you knights enter this here alley and felt it was best to help the one who was in trouble since knights would only go into an alley for that reason," he stated looking directly at the Captain.

Zane and Rio took seats and quietly ate their bananas. They had no intention of eating food that was cooked by someone's hair. Zane felt a tingle run down his neck and thought that he once again heard voices. Rio nodded indicating that he had heard them to, and they sounded familiar. Zane and Rio both stood up and faced the direction the voices were coming from. "Rio get ready." Zane said as he placed his hand on his Tome. He didn't like being left out of the loop and knew that there would probably be a fight... he hoped it wasn't a powerful monster or player...

Daena was still uncomfortable with eating something made with prehensile hair, with how loose the strands can be. She was willing to give it a shot, with how hungry she was right now. Her thoughts shifted away from hunger when she saw the two who were in the kitchen area with Harriet...

"It's.... you!" Daena said, trying to recall Zane and Rio's names... and failing. Immediately after, as if it was rehearsed, Josh said, "How'd you two get in here?" Irenia was angry they came back, and began stocking her wind magic in preparation to blast them away. Obviously they are here for something, like their food, and she would not stand for it.

Daena, being the more levelheaded one raised her hand in front of Irenia, who responded by landing on Daena's shoulder and pouting. "Don't tell me.... you got lost?" While she didn't say it, she was already comparing them to Josh, for their similar navigational skills. Even then, I'm assuming they went in a straight line, Daena though while listening to their response. How would they end up here?

Upon finally seeing the captains true face, Artemis' eyes widened only a little in surprize. While he honestly didn't believe gender had anything to do with fighting abillity, not once had the thought crossed him that the guards captain was female. In his defense though, he didn't really have time to think when he was slammed into the wall.

As he listened to Sven explain himself he couldn't help but feel slightly agitated. They way he talked, though assumably unintentionally, made it sound like Artemis was some kind of Damsel in distress, a Idea of which he very much opposed. Granted he had been rather unprepared for an attack, but he could count at least 5 different way in which he could have escaped with minimal harm. In fact, the only physical harm happened to him BECAUSE Sven appeared, so in truth this unsung hero had done a little more damage so far than good.

Looking at the captain after Sven had finished, he decided to tell his side of the story.

"The answer to that question depends on what you mean by "here". If you meant this city itself, the answer you would get would be an unusual tale with details and events even I'm not sure about. But if you meant here as in by this wall, I was actually following someone. I saw a shadow by my hotel and decided to follow it out of curiosity and because I have been having sleeping problems. Unfortunately, I kind of lost what ever it was when I got to around here, so I'm not sure what this person or thing may have looked like. I'm Artemis by the way."

"You man I do not care what name you go by," the leader of the knights said letting her sword's tip rest underneath Arty's chin and glared at Sven, "As for your words I woudla dvice you never to mix words with Nomanian Knights again. NOw you say you were following someone . . . who? I shall remove my blade for you to speak easier."

Adhering to her words the knight moved her sword away yet held it at her sted, ready to strike in case Sven or Arty got the bright idea that they could escape. The other knight guards had by now removed their hands from their hilts and stepped back, knowing all too well that they would best leave this to their commander, while she waited for an answer.

Josh stopped for a minute and looked at the food before glancing up at Zane and Rio. His stomach growling overtook his worry as he stepped inside and then slipped into his chair. Harriet smiled and walked Deana, who seemed to be keen on watching the two guests, and set her in her seat. It was then that the rest of them sat down and thanked Harriet for the meal; though Sammie explained that Eli always ate away from them, usually on top of the roof.

"You know I was really hungry before but," Josh thoughts trailed off as he held his piece of pancake near his mouth. He couldn't help but admit he was having a bit of a problem imagining Harriet cooking with her hair and all of the bad things which might've 'fallen' in on accident. He was so focused on this, as probably everyone else was, that they might not have heard Sammie snickering. Bitting his lips he watched as some people avoided the cooked food altogether or had a hard time putting it into their maws, "I can't believe they fell for it! More food for me then!!!" Susie and Harriet hadn't known of Sammie's prank and were readily eating the meal before them until Harriet's attention was caught by the awkward situation. Setting her fork down she looked up and around the room, "Is . . . is there something wrong with the food?"

Daena began poking at the food herself; unsure about what to think about it. Still, she'd try anything once, and took some pancakes into a fork and slowly raised it to her mouth. It seemed like Harriet noticed the group's uneasiness and addressed them.

"Is . . . is there something wrong with the food?"

The sudden outburst almost caused her to drop her food onto the floor, but using her quick reflexes she barely avoided a disaster. "No, nothing's wrong with the food," Daena replied, not really wanting to ask the question on her mind - after all, she could be careful when she cooks.

Alright then, let's do this... Daena thought as she slowly brought the food to her mouth, closed her eyes, and stuck the syrupy pancakes into her mouth. There was no strange material in the food, and she swallowed it. Now that she tasted food, Daena's hunger took over, and she began tearing into the meal like an animal. The way she ate was so unrefined, unlike how she ate back at Adrian's place. The pace at she was eating surprised Irenia, who knew nothing about how hungry Daena can get, but the fairy just took it as a signal that the food was OK, and began eating her meal as well.

"Calm yourself." Arty said earnestly, holding both hands palms out as a sign of surrender.

"Exchanging names is only a show of respect and peace. I get that you're knights and you're duty bound to protect and serve, but jumping into situations with swords drawn haphazardly only leads to pointless bloodshed, false accusations and wasted time. And time and life are the two things that should never be wasted pointlessly."

Artemis sighed. The more he remained here, the less sleep he was getting and for some odd reason, the more he sounded like Talon.

"I already told you though, I don't know who it was: all I saw was a simple shadow and with the shifting lighting I couldn't get a good idea of any features. If my partner was here, I'd have him do a little aerial for you, see what I missed, but I'm afraid he's asleep a few blocks back. Otherwise, I'm not quite sure what else your expecting me to say here."

At the same time that Sven and Arty appeared to be getting themselves into trouble, a new figure was making his appearance down one of the many Nomanien streets, this particular one would give him a perfect view of the events occurring in the alleyway. This particular figure was a young man who stood just under six feet in height and made his way along the street walking with surprising silence. the only thing that might give away his presence would be if anyone happened to see him...or if they heard the loud whistling which was coming from his lips. The young man wore a simple pair of blue jeans which partially covered the worn pair of brown leather combat boots that he wore. About his waist he wore a heavy brown leather belt to which was attached a rather large pouch. His chest was covered with a simple white sleeveless T-shirt and over that he wore an old and torn brown cloth jacket. His hands were covered by a pair of brown fingerless gloves. His dirty-blonde hair was rather long and fell somewhat haphazardly in many long spikes about his head and slightly angled face. His complexion was rather fair and his eyes were, surprisingly, quite bright yellow.

The young man continued calmly on his way, before he stopped just as he saw the activity down the alley out of the corner of his eye. Truth be told, he might have appeared completely normal if it wasn't for two things. The first and most obvious of these was the two massive glaives that were crossed over his back. Each of the two blades extending from either end of the hilts of the two weapons stretched a good two and a half feet and curved at a similar rate to the blade of a Katana. The second, and less noticeable of the two was the long scar across the middle of his face that appeared to have been made by a blade at some point. When he came to a stop he suddenly seemed to tense slightly, as though the presence of so many armed foes put him on edge, however he very quickly relaxed once more and put a wide smile on his face that seemed to be friendly...and yet might make those who saw it somewhat uncomfortable. For the time being, if he was a Tamer his partner was not with him. Remaining where he was, the young man whose name was John Blackmoore calmly watched the events unfold before him.

<sorry for the long overdue post ^^; >

Josh hadn't taken a bite of his food yet, for some reason the idea of someone making it with their hair made his appetite disappear, and he merely looked down at it. His fork hanged loosely in his grip and when Harriet questioned if there was anything wrong he heard Deana state that it was nothing and began eating. He glanced over, at first merely to see if she had been thinking the same thing, but ended up staring as she gulped down the food. Not even Sammie and Susie had thought Deana could eat like that, but both of them ended up laughing and tossing aside THIER manners to mimic Deana as she ate.

"Oh my l didn't know you were so hungry," Harriet said with a tright laugh and stood up to refill anyone's plate who desired it. Josh scotted over a bit so he could nudge Deana without rousing suspicion and quietly asked her, "Is it really ok to eat or are you just trying to be polite?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"We do not require your kind of assistance fool!" one of the knights barked, the sound of a very deep voiced man, and the captain turned in place to address him, "Sir Connalie that will be enough of that."
After quick apology from her subordinate she turned back to Arty with a stern look, "If that is truly the entirty of why you are here then I would suggest you head back there and remain there. These are restricted areas and if l see you here once more you will be dealt with . . . both of you."
Seathing her weapon the captain motioned for the others to release Sven and Arty before taking a step back. Looking at both of them she waited without moving so much as a muscle to see if they would leave . . . or stupidly try to stay where they did not belong.
Whilst the captain and her royal guards waited for Sven and Arty to leave not a one of them had realized, yet, that they were being watched. By no malicious person, oh no, but by a wandering stranger who had been passing by. The man looked less than twenty and held on his back two quite large swords, which if the knights had seen they most definately would have removed in a heart beat, though he showed no signs of intent to use them. Instead he simply stayed in place and watched wqith a bit of curiosity.
Suddenly there was a voice speaking to him and it sounded as if it was right beside him, "Excuse me, sir?"
There was no one to his right, where logic would say the speaker would have been, and then heard it again from his right; which was facing a wall.
"Are you a fighter? Can you help my friend over there?"
"This.... this is good," was all that Josh could get out of Daena inbetween bites. She eventually finished off all of her food, but declined seconds, leaving it others who are more hungry than she was. Like the kids. Instead of eating more, Daena left the dining room and returned to her own room to collect her belongings.
Once back at her room she collected her equipment, and prepared to depart. She was still a bit worried about returning her bolts to the housing unit, but did so anyway. The device was still acting loopy, and Daena had to reign back her desire to poke at it some more. At this point Irenia came floating in, having finished her meal.
"I thought you would be done by now!" Irenia complained. It was true; normally Daena would shove everything into the housing unit except for her bows and be on her way. She was always in a hurry.
"We have to wait for everyone else too, Irenia," Daena replied. While she was still a bit leery about the housing units themselves, she didn't want to worry her fairy companion.
"Oh..." Irenia replied, dumbfounded. "Well then, I'll go make sure everyone gets ready then," she replied, flying out the room. Daena could only chuckle at her enthusiasm, and decided to be more optimistic about this whole ordeal.
After all, if what Adrian said was correct, the answers await them at the capital.
The man remained completely calm as he heard the voice, quickly realizing that there was no one there to have spoken to him. Rather than pass it off as something that might have just been a sign of his gradual loss of sanity. he remained standing where he was. When he finally chose to answer it was in a hushed voice that nonetheless carried Blackmoore's trademark Irish Accent.
"Which'un's yer friend?"
The hushed voice was just loud enough to be heard as an answer to anyone near enough to speak to him, yet did not carry the volume necessary to reach any further. The careful listener would catch the practiced tone and recognize it as proof of this one's knowledge of stealth. After answering, Blackmoore calmly remained where he was, ready to intervene if necessary. Perhaps the more observant onlooker would notice a new development near him. What appeared to be the ears of a dog were sticking out of the ground near his left foot. The ears also appeared odd in form, very much transparent and ghostly, but from a distance they might only be seen as the ears of a white dog. The Irishman calmly readied himself to quickly grab the double-bladed weapons which he carried in case of his needing them. Though he had tensed in preparation, it would take a keen eye to notice from any appreciable distance.
((Sorry fer the late reply lads. Been havin' a hard time gettin' on of late.))
  • 2 weeks later...
It was now mid morning, and Daena Sical stood outside the spawned cabin, facing it. She was wearing her red outfit she received in this world now; her original clothes were becoming tattered, and there was no intrinsic magic in them, anyway. All of her weapons were on her person as well: she had her knife, now moved to her belt, her crossbow, and the magical Elder Bow. She began to wonder if the outfit she was wearing now was magical at all, but before she could dream up any theories, her partner, Irenia, flew out of the building.
"So you're finally ready?" Daena asked the small fairy. As her partner, Irenia accompanied Daena while she told everyone to prepare to leave earlier that day, since they needed to get to the capital as soon as possible. Of course, Irenia was unpredictable, and she flew off for some reason before the two even left the cabin. Daena thought about asking about what she was doing, but she was just glad that Irenia was outside now.
"Yeah~~ I wanted to see if you left something." Irenia replied. Daena was sure she got everything before she left, and then she noticed that Irenia was holding a crossbow bolt in her hands. It was about as tall as she was, but they weren't heavy at all; back in the game Daena made sure to get the lightest batch of bolts that still did good damage, which was why she had so many in her housing unit earlier.
Daena looked at Irenia with a puzzling look as the fairy handed her the bolt. "Uhh... thanks." Daena said, before placing the bolt back into the housing unit. Irenia could act bizarre sometimes, but her heart was always in the right place/
Zane stood outside, apparently his housing unit had a new set of clothes for him and he had put them on. He was now donned in a pair of Black Slacks, with a black undershirt and a leather jacket. Above this he wore a black with red trim robe that had a hood that could hide his face. Overall he was pleased with it. He looked over at one of the others as she placed what looked like a crossbow bolt into her housing unit. He sighed, It would appear that I must travel with these... people for now. However at first chance I'm out of here.
Meanwhile Rio was finishing off the last of the food, he wasn't about to let that kind of food go to waste, besides he was starving. Zane never gave him more than the minimum amount of food required to keep him battle-ready. He was going to enjoy this meal.
OOC: Warning. This post is the effect of a TIME SKIP.
IC:
From the cabin the form of an unfamiliar man could be seen approaching from the east, casting a long shadow along the ground which would likely have given him away more quickly than his own appearance. Through the glare of the sunlight all that could be easily seen distinctly was the torn brown jacket which he wore, likely appearing black in his shadow, what appeared to be a rather heavy pair of brown leather boots, a large mass of spiky pale hair jutting out haphazardly in all directions, and finally a pair of curved blades jutting up above his shoulders on either side of his head. Another thing that one just might be able to see was the ghostly form of a dog with only it's front legs and it's body narrowing down into a sort of tail that waved back and forth slightly as it moved. The creature was pure white with no markings on it's body, that combined with it's translucence would make the Inugami a particularly difficult thing to see, though not impossible.
Josh and the twins stepped outside of the hgouse and Sammie quickly deactivated the massive house, transforming it back into a cube, and then set it into his Tamers Device. Looking at everyone JOsh gave a smile before addressing Zane, "So you are going to be accompanying us until we get to somewhere you wanna go or will you be coming with us all the way to the capital?"
WHilst Josh held a conversation with the newcomer, ZAne and his partner, Susie and Harriet were talking to Deana about how long they thought it would take them to get to the capital. Even though neither honestly knew the exact size of the country they were in, Harriet htought it best to ease their minds with a little guess work.
"I suppose it'll take us no more than two weeks . . ." she mused whilse Susie shook her head, "No I think it'll take us two MONTHS!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

John had quite a night prior to the rising of the sun. At the request of a ghost child he had singlehandedly rattled some knights before rescuing two men whom had beenb held for questioning. Those two men, Sven and Artemis, were still sleeping opff their encoutners when he had awoken. Readying to leave the voice of the ghost boy again called out to him, "Are you going to leave us now?!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Delano had dug and dug as far as he could, with what he could, but no matter how hard nor how fast it seemed as if he never got anywhere. Then suddenly the cave entrance which had been blocked was opened and in the light he could spot two familiar faces. Their weapons, slightly, bloodied Sir Irwin and Jack stood over the unconcoius bodies of the bandits. Smiling Sir Irwin motioned with his head, "So are you coing or what? Seline is probably arleady wondering what has taken us so long . . ."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Yaming would turn the boats to the left and then make a sharp right angle to the right to try and avoid the beasts, but they always kept on coming. She was so focused on her work that she'd never notice Evelyn pull out a new tome, nor would she have asked what it was about. Instead her mind was set on the impossible task of outracing the Akhluts to land before an attack.

"Get ready Evelyn!" Crystal called out as her bow string tensed with a strong pull of her right arm. Unlike Yaming she had noticed Evelyn switch out her tome and only concluded that she was getting something more powerful out; which was true. Once one of the Akhluts leapt out of the lake Crystal let fly an arrow which whizzed clean through the air and impaled itself into the creatures eye; the pain sending the creature into a panic and making splash back into the water.

"Land!!!" was the next thing anyone in the two boats heard as Matsue managed to stand up and point towards what looked like a beach which grew closer with each passing moment. Laughing happily Matsue had completely forgotten the situation she was in and turned to smile at Evelyn, "Now I can get out of this boat . . ."

"Cave walls were thicker than i thought" Delano chuckled as he climbed onto Kikiania's back. "thanks for the assistance now i can finally get somewhere" Delano said as Kikiania exited the cave. "it would have been easier to just murder the bandits but i thought a cave ambush would work. Next time i'm gonna use another method. Well time to hard out" Delano said as Kikiania got into a ready to sprint position. "Time to cover lost ground. Full steam ahead Kikiania" Delano as. Kikiania bursted into a spec as she run at top speed away from the town, cave, jack, and sir irwin. "gotta make sure i make up for the time wasted in that cave"

Blackmoore sighed as he heard the voice of the ghost child calling out to him again and he shook his head as he stuffed the few things he carried with him other than his weapons into the pack he had begun carrying with him since the game had become reality. Hovering just above his head was the ghostly form of the Inugami who was his partner, having the form of a German Sheppard down to the point where her body started to narrow into a snake-like and ghostly tail. As he answered the ghost, he hefted the two glaives with which he fought and calmly cleaned the small amount of blood that had gotten on them from the scruff the night before off with a scrap of cloth.

"Aye, lad, I'm leavin' ya. I've gotta find me way 'ome, an I'm not sure yer goin' the same place I am."

Daena shrugged. "Two weeks, two months... I have a feeling it'll feel the same nonetheless..." She really did miss that map... but at least those Dryads from before would be helpful; after all, this 'Amadahy' probably had someone they could ask for further directions. She pulled the train ticket from her pocket and stared at it for a moment. "Well..." Daena began. She wanted to say something, but she stayed silent.

"What is it?" Irenia asked from Daena's shoulder. She's been worried about Daena, since she's been acting weird ever since coming to this world.

"Just thinking about asking for directions at the next town..." Daena wasn't sure about Amadahy, and the type of people who lived there. At least, they were halfway there from when they asked the tree spirits, so she should have her answers soon...

"Please don't tell me your dragging me all over the place." Zane said just loud enough to be heard by the others, I have no intention of sticking with you people for two months. The sooner we get to a large city the better." Zane then look at Rio, who was dazed since he had been eating when the house began to collapse. Zane sighed and cast a quick purification spell to remove then annoying status effect.

"Thanks Boss."

"Can it. Alright people we should get moving." Zane suggested, but it sounded like a command.

Sir Irwin watched as Delano flew out of sight within a couple minutes. He had no desire to chase after soemone who wouldn't stay in one place for more than a single night, but he sincerly hoped that their paths would cross again one day.

. . . the night air was a refreshing change from trhe stale air that Delano had been encompassed in while he had remained stuck in the cave, with no escape. If Sir Irwin and Jack hadn't came to rescue him what were the chances he'd have been robbed and possibly even killed?

When Zane spoke up everyone, naturally, had turned to pay attention to him. But once they heard what he had to say and the obvious negligence in his voice, they wish they hadn't. Sammie and Susie gave a loud huff, turned their heads, and began to walk away with their partners; both twins having taken hold of Deana's hand to lead her along. Looking back JOsh gave Zane a well deserved scowl before mouthing, 'I'll be happy when you leave believe me.'

"Don't be too sure about that," the ghost boy said floating through the floorboards and then remaining beside John. Despite things being in his way the ghost boy merely phased through them and continued on. Giving a tilt of his head he continued, "We're trying to get to the capital."
