Jack scowled at Seline and gave an irritated groan. "For some reason SHE'S all ticked off at me because she fell on me and i grabbed those rather smallish cushions on her chest to keep her from CRUSHING me! Honestly SHE tries to kill me and now SHE'S the victim?!?" Jack asked with equal parts confusion and irritation in his tone as he motioned twords Seline. "Back where i come from if you try to KILL someone you normally are the one who needs to apologize."

Zane was, by his calculations anyway, about fifty yards from the edge of the Forest. He found himself at a crossroad of sorts. He could either go left which seemed to lead to a large city, where who knows what could happen, or by the look in the distance was a hotel of sorts. He eyed the hotel, his gut told him that it was a bad idea, but he rarely listened to his gut.

"I'm probably going to regret this but, we need to find work to make money Rio. Let's head to that hotel." Zane said. Rio simply nodded and followed Zane as he began in that direction.

Art followed the sound of the footstep, unsure of who it was or why he was following it. He just felt like he could so he did, as if there was no pre-thought to it. Not only that but it was the first sign of life he'd seen all night, and something was better than nothing. As he turned and went down the hallway who started to doubt this decision, unsure of where this would lead him.

(Very hard to reply to that with four lines. I feel like I'm going nowhere fast here...)

Daena nodded to herself as she was taken on the tour of their lodging. She was far more interested in the mechanics behind the creation of the cabin, but it'd be best if she didn't mess with something that can expand more than 100 times its size... especially while they were inside. Irenia was just excited at *being* inside; more than a few times she had to be told to stay with the group. The fairy eventually settled on resting on Daena's shoulder as she walked around, preferring not to draw everyone's ire by exploring on her own.

"It's for your own good you know that..." Daena whispered to her partner.

"Yeah, yeah... I'm just bored, that's all." Irena replied back quietly. A whisper would have barely been audible.

"You never was bored back in the game..." Daena retorted. "You didn't go wander off in those fields..."

Irenia just crossed her arms and pouted. She *was* bored, due to the fact that back in the game, she and Daena were always doing something. It was always exciting, with no down time (thanks to Daena turning off her Tamer Unit when not in the game). Now, there was all of this traveling that had to be done, and it was getting old.

The two were brought out of their miniature conversation when Eli announced Daena's lodgings... whom she will be sharing with Josh. Irenia took off from Daena's shoulder and started flying into the room, saying something along the lines of "Cool, sleep," before disappearing inside the room. Josh... didn't say anything, hesitating for some reason. Daena thought that was odd; was he uncomfortable with something?

"What's wrong Josh? Don't like the room? Or is it you don't want to share with me?" Daena asked. As she formed her last question she began to wonder if Josh was uncomfortable *because* she was in the room. Was she merely imagining things? "Come on, we had a long day..." she said to Josh, not really wanting to assume things like that. "Let's get some sleep."

Having continued to follow the footsteps Arty eventually found himself at the edge of a large wall with banners flying just beyond that. He couldn't hear the footsteps anymore and even if he did there was no one around. The left was clear, the right was clear. And it looked like the wall continued on to the ends of the earth. Was it possibly the end of the town or something within it that was closed off to civilains?

Seline couldn't believe what Jack had just said. It wasn't just that he had told what had happened to Delano of all things, but he had also insulted her by pretty much calling her flat chested. Stomping her foot she whirled around and smashed her fist into Jack's face before leaving the room, pushing past Sir Irwin as she did, and the man just let out a whistle, "You boys really need to learn how to speak around a lady . . ."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Uh . . . yeah . . . sure," Josh said with an emberrassed grin on his face. He knew that Deana had probably guessed he was uneasy about being in the same room as her. It wasn't that he didn't like being around Deana, but it was simply that he hadn't been around a lot of girls before this- not to mention ever sleeping in the same room as one. Stepping into the cabin's room he saw that there was only one single bed in the room and he let out a small laugh, "So uh . . . left or right?"
It was a lame joke and he knew it, but right now he was so nervious that he couldn't think of anything else. While Josh faced the possability of having to share a bed with Deana Samme and Susie peeked in from the cracked door and giggled to each other; having orcastrated the entire thing. They didn't know exactly why Josh was getting so nervious but they were having the time of their lives watching him panic.
"Susie . . . Sammie I think we have to head to bed as well," Eli said taking the twins hands and leading them to their rooms, spoiling their fun at the same time. While they were being lead to the room Harriet heard a knock at the door, "Thats odd . . . who oculd be outside around this time of the night?"
"Coming," she said and opened the door to see Zane and Rio standing at the door; apparently they had gotten turned around.
"I just asked for info and thats what i got. And also jack here was the one who got the crap knocked out of him" Delano chuckled than got back up "Well know that we got all under control this is about the time me and Kikiania would be leaving. We like to be out of places before sunrise." Delano said before getting on Kikiania who stood where she was left at
"Good evening ma'am, my friend and I are in need of lodging for the night. Do you have a room available? We don't have any money so if possible we would like to work here in exchange for food and a place to stay." Zane said in a very diplomatic tone. He didn't like the idea, but it was better than wandering hopelessly. Besides Rio wasn't a good Partner when he was hungry. Like now he was slouched over, hanging his face as if he hadn't eaten in days. Typical Rio, always having to be dramatic about everything. Zane thought as he shook his head.
Josh's joke, no matter how corny it was, seemed to soar right above Daena's head, who immediately walked over to the bed and sat down. Normally she would be worried like Josh was, but she already placed some measure of trust in him... even if he does goof up most of the time. That, and once she saw the bed, she found herself entirely too tired to voice any kind of complaint.
"This side's fine," Daena replied. Irenia flew out from behind the door and nested herself near the edge of the bed, letting out a audible yawn. "And I guess Irenia's going to sleep there," Daena said once Irenia settled in.
He still seems worried about something... What can I do? Daena thought to herself as she watched Josh, who was still acting awkwardly. She couldn't think of anything besides that fact that he might be uncomfortable sharing a room with her, but her mind shot right past the obvious explanations and right to the more awkward ones. Do I smell? Daena thought, then immediately smelled her underarms. They were smelly, but not that bad that she'd smell like some unkempt vagrant who didn't wash in days. In the end, Daena figured the best way was to just ask him.
"Josh, what's bothering you?" She asked, in the most sudden, direct way possible. Probably due to her drowsiness. "Is it me?" she added on... which probably made things more awkward, she thought after she asked.
Jack recovered and jumped back to his feet. "WHAT THE HELL SELINE!?!?" Jack said before letting out an exasperated groan before turning back to Delano. "You gonna be leaving then huh?" Jack asked as he put his hat back on. "Well...i spose i'll be seeing you tomorrow then." He said giving him a quick nod. "Seline...if you would can we get back to the room WITHOUT another attempt on my life?" Jack asked preparing to defend in the event he insulted her again.
ooc: Delayed post ftw!, lol
The group was now at the dock for the two boats provided for them. Matsue and Crystal moved into one boat while Evelyn took the front seat to the boat Yaming had already gotten in, of course with Flamme hopping in right after her. Matsue was expressing some concern about flipping over. Though she had decided to go on the water it was still obvious she was afraid. And no one was expecting her to magically conquer her fear in the first minutes of deciding to face it.
"Don't worry Matsue. Just don't stand up too much in it and you should be fine." Evelyn called out. She then turned her attention to Yaming and their boat.
"Okay, so I was only a passenger the last time, and a little out of it to boot. How do we work these things? Oars or what?" Evelyn asked Yaming. She looked back as much as she could to face Yaming without potentially unbalancing the boat.
Yaming let out a small laugh and stood up, rocking the boat a bit, and held both hands directly out beside her, "Oars are you joking? This is Nomen and here everything is done by magic!"
With that she began to wave her arms as if they were oars, making the boat rock a bit with her motion, and Evelyn could feel the boat lurch forward before it started picking up speed. Glancing behind her she could see the boat the others were in starting to grow more distance as Crystal leaned over to talk to Matsue, "I can't use magic so we're going to have to have you generate some thrust for us, okay?"
"H-H-Ho-How am I supposed to do th-"
"Use your fire powers to send a jet of fire beside us or something," Crystal laughed patting Matsue on the back and dipping an oar at the back end of the boat. Matsue looked back front, Yaming and Evelyn's boat already getting smaller and smaller, and wondered if she'd be able to do it. She'd never even thought of dogin something like this before and didn't know exactly how it'd work . . . but if it meant she'd get to see Rift again she was willing to try.
Leaning forward she spread her arms out to the side and summoned two balls of fire into the palms before shooting it; which of course blew up in the lake and sprinkled her with water. By the way Matsue reacted you would've thought she had fallen in. She gave a terrified scream and unconciously began to continue shooting ball after ball of fire at the lake, forgetting it was that very thing which was getting her wet, and made the boat shoot forward with each explosion.
"Jack Seline has already left," Sir Irwin said before addressing Delano on what he had said beforehand, "So you're just going to up and leave? We have yet to even begin your training and you want to go now, oh well . . ."
Sir Irwin wasn't the kind of man who'd keep someone around against their will. Well . . . ok maybe if he was interrogating someone he'd keep them against their will . . . but that is another matter all together. Turning his back to the both of them he tipped his hat up a bit and smiled, "Well weither both of you decide to stay or leave I'll tell you this . . . Seline probably wont cool off until tomorrow."
With that he walked down the hall, turned the corner and passed Seline's room. Seline had locked her door to ensure no one would get in, although once she heard someone's footsteps outside her door she got in position to knock whoever it was out, she let out a sigh of relief once they passed; she had no idea that it was Sir Irwin outside. Settling down once more she walked over to the bed and slumped down on it, crossed her arms and began to think about what happened, "Stupid Jack . . . stupid Delano . . . why did master have to bring them along anyways?" She then turned red once the mental images played through her mind and she grew angry once more, throwing the pillow over her head and screaming into it, "I wish they'd both just leave!!!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Josh had began to feel more uncomfertable when Deana answered his question by stating she'd take the left side of the bed; he had no idea of knowing she wasn't serious. Turning red he watched she climbed into the and pulled some of the covers over her, "This is so not good." Fortunately, or unfortunately if you see it that way, Josh turned around to act as if he was looking at the room and totally missed Deana checking to see if she smelled. She then asked him something and he turned to see her on her side looking at him, "Hu?"

He had heard her and what she had said something that threw him off even more. 'Is it me' she had asked and his face instantly began to shake his head, "No! No no no it's not you at all!"

His face was sweating bullets as he walked over to the edge of the bed and gave the most awkward smile he had ever made in his life, "How can anything be wrong with you? You're great Deana! Amazing, smart, beautiful and . . . and . . ."

Josh couldn't speak anymore as he realized what he had said, not that he unknowingly moved closer to her and was now eye level with her, and felt her heart racing. He didn't know where to look, her eyes, her lips, her eyes, her lips, "Oooooh man . . . this is getting to seri-"

"Deana? Josh? Can I come in?" Sammie's voice called out from the door with the coupling of the noise from knocking wood. Sammie was standing outside the door and, though he didn't want to admit it, he was scared of the dark, and wanted to sleep with someone since Eli and Sammie were already asleep; Harriet having went off a while ago.

To Sammie Harriet had gotten up to go sleep somewhere else and didn't know she had left to answer the front door; nor did he know she was speeaking to the two people they had ran into earlier. The woman gave them a warm smile as she listened to their story, "Yes we have a room open and we'll be having breakfeast in the morning. Would you like to come in?"

Stepping aside she motioned for Zane and Rio to come in, not knowing he had mistaken the place for a lodge; in fact she unknowingly answered his questions as if she was the inn keeper.

Jack stood outside in the night air feeling his axe weigh heavily on his belt. Bane joined his side and looked up at him worriedly. "Stupid idiotic woman!! To obsessed with her oh so precious feminity to see that she's a WARRIOR!! Disgusting!!" Jack said shouting angrily at nothing. "I swear to you Bane if i ever had power like hers OR Sir Irwins.." He sighed contemplating exactly what WOULD he do if he ever got the power he desired. "Honestly...what do i have to accomplish Bane? What makes Seline and Sir Irwin train so hard? What do they fight for if not for themselves?" Jack asked his Hellhound growing more irritated the more he contemplated the question.

"If the stars make it be we may cross paths once more in time to come I better go let Seline know the good news of me leaving" Delano chuckled than walked to what he though was Seline's room judging from all the screaming inside. Delano knocked on the door than yelled through the doo "See later Seline. I got places to be and things to do so will not have to worry about me hanging around". After his last words he went out and climbed onto Kikiania once more than ride off into the night "Well those people were an interesting bunch. Maybe we will meet again in time to come" Delano said to himself as he and Kikiania left the town.

Josh vehemently denied that Daena was at fault for his nervousness. The intensity of his denial caught her off guard, enough so that she began to think that she was making him nervous, and he was just trying to be kind. The words that followed showed that she was making him nervous, for a reason she never thought of...

"How can anything be wrong with you?" When Josh said this, Daena raised an eyebrow.

"You're great Daena!" Josh continued. Now her mouth started to open, wanting to reply. She also started blushing, embarrassed and realizing that Josh was praising her.

"Amazing, smart, beautiful and . . ." By the time Josh trailed off here, Daena was very obviously blushing by this point. She could feel her heartbeat speed up as Josh moved closer to her. All logic and reasoning seemed to have left her, and she could only focus on the young man in front of her.

"Josh... I..." Daena began, only to be interrupted by the knock on the door. It made her jump from her spot, to the point where she was practically standing. "I'll... get the door," she said, quickly walking over to it, still blushing.

Daena opened the door to see Sammie, just as expected. She wasn't still completely focused, but was beginning to form coherent thoughts again. "Sure, come in," she said, closing the door after Sammie entered. "Did... you need something?"

"Can I sleep with you tonight?" Sammie asked holding his favorite blanket and looked up at Deana, not noticing she had been blushing, or what it would even mean if he had, "I-I could protect you from any monsters that would attack you during the night!"

Sammie had added the last part to make it sound as if he wasn't afraid of the dark and that he was trying to be brave so as to protect Deana. Josh had had enough time to compose himself now and couldn'thelp but chuckle under his breath at the young boy, had he too been like that when he was young? But at least he showed signs of responsability, Sammie had after all readied himself to fight during their run in with Zane and his partner.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I can't speak for myself but I know what Seline is fighting for," Sir Irwin said walking into the room with a grin. He had been listening via an eavesdropping spell, something he had learned in his earliy years, and sat down on the other bed. Placing both hands behind his head he looked up at the popcorn ceiling and continued, "Seline is training as hard as she is to make sure she can protect her village once she returns to it. I'd like to tell you the rest of the details . . ."
Sir Irwin trailed off then as he clicked some ear wax he had picked to the floor and returned to cleaning his ear, "But it is not my place to tell someone's life story . . . even if that person is my own pupil."
Sir Irwin was attempting to learn Jack in a way that would get him to go ask Seline about her past. This, if you were wondering, wasn't another attempt to make Seline feel uncomfertable nor was it to get a rise out of her. no the truth was ever since she first began following him she had been incredibly shut up about her past and refused to talk about it. Had Sir Irwin purposely thrown her into the bathhouse to "break the ice" so later on he could get Jack to have her talk about her past? The chances were . . . slim that he had planned it out that way . . . but regardless he was doing just that.
The night still upon Delano and Kikiania they walked there path to the east. "Well now we are back to just me and you. Maybe we will meet some more interesting people on the rode despite the fact we will not be able to stay long in a town as that is our way. The way of a wander, leave before the daybreaks while the night be young so you can reach the next location faster." Delano said wake awake from the nap he and kikainia had eariler.
Jack gave Sir Irwin a twisted look. The idea of fighting. And therefore risking your life for someone other than yourself was alien to him. He had a word for people that did that back when he was a serial killer in london. That word was Idiot. He walked back up to the room and entered (Ridiculous...ridiculous...What what kind of concept IS that?) Jack looked at Seline for a long while before asking. "Your Village...what is so important that you would die to protect it?" He asked rather bluntly.
Daena paused for a moment, taking in what Sammie was asking. "Sure, okay," she finally said, not even sure if the bed had enough room for all three of them. Four of them, if one counts the tiny Irenia. Although Sammie was clearly troubled by something, she couldn't think of what. It didn't matter; she wanted to help, but she also wanted to sleep. Having Sammie around also would help lessen the tension in the room; she'd need some time to think about what happened just moments before Sammie knocked on that door.
Ugh, Daena thought to herself as she touched her forehead with her hand. I need sleep. She made her way to the bed and sat down, not laying down just yet. After all, she wanted to make sure the others were settled in as well before she vanished into the realm of dreams.
Sammie was happy to hear that he could sleep with Deana and Josh tonight, his mind being put at ease, and he quickly ran into the room before leaping on the bed. Jumping on it three times before he settled down he dug himself under the covers before popping his head out with a wide grin, "Thank You Deana!!!"
"Guess that leaves me with here," Josh said patting a makeshift bed he had created from two chairs facing each other. It was obvious to anyone who looked at it that it'd be uncomfertable to sleep on and Josh's back would pay for it in the morning. But Josh only smiled as he eased himself into the most comfertable, meaning his back wasn't twisted into an odd position, poise and pulled his jacket over him, "Good night Deana . . .good night Sammie . . ."
"Night Josh!" Sammie said pulling the covers so high up that only his small head was uncovered.
Jack had, rather rudely, walked into Seline's room and began to ask her questions. If he had any sense on him at the moment he would've turned right around and left the room. But alas he hadn't realized his mistake until it was too late. Opening an eye he could see Seline in her nightgown, a bit too short as it covered only half of her thigh, and her hair was for once down and wavy. The look on her face showed how mad she was about him bringing up the topic; not particularly happy about Jack of all people coming into her room unannounced either. Raising her hand and forming a fist she began to trot over towards him, "Where you raised in a ba . . . rn . . ."
Stopping Seline stood in front of Jack, her head down while the fist remained slightly above his head. She didn't want to but her memories of her village began to float and bubble back to her conciousness and it sadened her. Remembering every detail in its horrible vivid realism Seline began to breath irratically as her heart sunk, finally culminating in her wrapping her arms around Jack and crying.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Good looks like Jack's well on his way to helping Seline get over her past," Sir Irwin thought as he loked in through the window. He hadn't been there when it happened, but finding the desolate village months afterwards hinted at the violent devistation which it had been subjected too; along with the inhuman deeds wrought on its inhabitants. Turning back to view the darkened town around him he took in a deep cool breth of night air and closed his eyes before whispering to himself, "Now what to do about our little run away?"

What Sir irwin could never have guessed was that while he waited atop the roof Delano and Kiki were already being followed by some unsavory characters; member of the Black Fang. They had seen Delano exiting the town a while ago and decided to follow him until he had exhausted his steed. The Black Fang were well known not just in Nomen, but in every country of Orai. Savage and cruel they'd been the cause of many raids and current unrest between the countries; many blaming the others for harboring and/or supporting this malicious mercenary group.

Jack remembered his victims showing this emotion as well. But this struck him more personally. The desperate cling of one soul to another when one Soul had grown too weak. Jack, rather than push her away and walk off he wrapped his arms around her and thought back to the actions of his victims. Comforting each other when they cried. Giving him hateful glares and swearing revenge while they did so. But now he saw himself as not the villain. But the person who needed to comfort the victim.

Daena mumbled something quietly in reply to Josh, but no one could really make it out. Before she actually fell asleep, she noticed that Josh wasn't in the bed; he had started sleeping between two chairs, of all things. She wanted to complain to him about deciding something like that on his own; she would have gladly given up her bed if he would have just asked. Of course, she couldn't since she had already fallen asleep by then.

The dream she had that night was kind of strange. It featured everyone she met since this whole mess started. Everyone meant *everyone*. It included Jake and his traveling partners from the tournament. Ungulf and Magnanim. Rose and Grunhelm. Adrian and his family. And of course, Irenia, Josh, Ave, Sammie, Susie, Harriet and Eli. They weren't in this world. Nor on Earth, at least, not the earth she remembers. It was a world like Earth back in the early to mid 20th century, with some mystical undertones. They were in some sort of military school together, Daena was able to figure out, but it was hard since the scenes kept passing quickly. She learned that they were not only in a school together, but in a class, which seemed to make up some sort of military unit when they had to sortie against rebels inciting a civil war. The scenes continued to pass by, until one particular scene, where Josh shot himself with a gun, because Daena found herself unable to do her duties for some reason.

Daena shot awake after hearing Josh's grunt in pain in her dream. She had forgotten most of it by now, but that one scene in particular stuck in her head. Nervously, she turned to see Josh... except Sammie was there. Confused, she pulled herself out of the bed, and spotted Josh... sleeping on the two chairs as he was before. The memories of the time before she slept returned to her, as well as her anger for him just deciding to inconvenience himself without speaking to the others. How dare he! She thought of the perfect way to send her message; make his efforts ineffective. She took her pillow from the bed, placed in on the floor next to it, and laid down there. A voice in the back of her mind pleaded her to do the sensible thing and just sleep on the bed and talk to him about it tomorrow, but she was angry and half-sleep - and people usually don't make rational decisions in either of those states.

Kikainia sniffed the air smell of people feeling uneasy she tilted her head slightly and winked at Delano. Thinking to himself 'hmm... it may be a good idea to head into the cave not to far ahead. If they follow than we can ambush them'. Delano tapped his fingers into message that only he and Kikiania understood. Kikiania started to jog alittle to the cavern up head. After a few minutes, they stood infront of the entrance of the cavern. Kikiania quickly walked into the cavern than quietly climbed onto the top of the cavern hidden within the darkests. Waiting to see if the people from earlier would be a threat. Delano already had his bone lance ready for whom ever may be the enemy if that be an enemy

"Of course, how stupid of me." Evelyn said somewhat sarcastically as Yaming began to move the boat with magic. Then Matsue tried to figure out how to move her boat. Using her fire she was able to move the boat forward but it seemed she freaked out when some water splashed her and then she began to rapidly fire the fireballs and as a result started rocketing the boat on its way. Evelyn wasn't quite sure how to react.

"Great.... now we have to go catch up. Anything I can do to help Yaming?" she said. She had both a wind and water attack spell at her disposal that she was somewhat confident in her abilities to channel them as a means to move the boat faster but if Yaming didn't need the assistance she wasn't going to try it. Continually using her spells wasn't exactly a smart thing. In fact the more she thought about it, the more she thought she'd like to just be able to use magic like Yaming did. Or at least not be entirely limited to tomes. Either way it wasn't important at that point as they had a speeding boat to catch up to.

"No you just guide me to were we're going," Yaming said now moving her arms back and forth in a rocking motion, one moving forward while the other moved back, "I got this and when I'm exhausted you can switch with me. Now I think it's about time we catch up with them!"

With a grin Yaming shifted her position, leaning forward so that she was leaning over Evelyn's head, and changed her arm rotations into full circles. Spinning her arms around quickly the boat lurched forward and speed towards Matsue and Crystals' boat, the yells coming from Matsue already audiable. It wasn't just the yells that could be heard but Crystal trying to calm Matsue down as well, the young woman not enjoying the bumpy ride in the least bit, and they soon found themselves stern to stern.

"Hey need some help?"

"OF COURSE WE DO!!!" Crystal barked back, not enjoying to joke at all, and was splashed by a large ammount of water that erupted from Matsue's blast; both girls were completely soaked by now.

Sammie hadn't found it very difficult to fall asleep- he had actually konked out the moment he got comfertable. Josh on the other hand was finding it extremely difficult to sleep, the pain in his back becoming nigh unbearable as it pinched a nerve. Twisting and turning he would throw his jacket off, put it back on, place it under his back and throw it off again; all doing nothing to ease his suffering. Soon he just plain gave up and fell asleep, having become exhausted by his attempts at a "restfull" night sleep. During the night he would toss and turn and eventually got up from his spot between the chairs. Stepping over Deana, who he hadn't realized was there, he walked through the cloud of sleep into the bathroom- only to return a few minutes later.

"That's better," he mumbled to himself and looked at the two chairs, "A cold hard floor HAS to be better than that place." he thought before gathering his sleeping things. Sitting down on the floor he gave a large yawn before slumping over beside an unconcious Deana. Smiling at the improved comfert, yes it was more comfertable than the two chairs, he quickly fell asleep. During the night he would move a bit and at one point or the other felt Deana beside him and, still asleep, moved closer to her until he had his arm around her waist.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seline continued to cry for ten minutes until she slowly began to stop; though she would hiccup on occassion. Now having stopped completely she held onto Jack a bit longer, slowly moving her head against his chest until she was completley recovered, and then let go. Stepping back she qipped a tear from her eyes and gave a small sniff before coughing and then smiling at Jack, "Had you going didn't I!"
Seline then pointed and gave a not too convencing laugh, "I can't believe you're that gullable! I was joking! All those tears weren't . . . you know . . . real . . ."
The fake laughter quickly died as she sat on her bed and looked down and away from Jack, worried that if she looked up at him he'd know all those tears were in fact real. Letting out a final laugh Seline grew solmn, "Heh . . . yeah just a lie . . ."
The men that were following Delano and Kik spotted him darting into a cave; their tracker discerning that it would be best used as a way to narrow them down into a single file. The leader of the group laughed at teh concerpt. Did that person really think they'd be dumb enough to just wander into such an obvious trap and get picked off one by one? NO he had another plan all together that would ensure they'd get the spoils- and they'd never have to even bloody their hands. Motioning to the two long distance members of the group he turned to the tracker and asked, "Is there any way out of that cave he is in?"
"No sir it has only one entrance . . ."
"Good," he replied and gave a nod to the sneering men who had readied themselves. With his signal one of the men let loose an arrow into the cave with a paper bomb attatched to it, knowing that it'd cause quite a big bang, while the other summoned a large ammount of water overhead. With the bomb going off it would, if Delano and Kiki didn't want to get hurt by it, move them back. When it did the man weilding the wter slammed it on the cave's entrance hard enough that it broke the top off the rock crumbeling down and sealing the entrance.
"Now all we have to do is wait a couple days and blast our way inside. No work, full pay," he said as the dust cleared and the men gave a cheer.
Delano saw the arrow. "So they think that we are trapped dogs" Delano said in a low voice. Delano tapped Kikiania to make another message. Kikiania quietly got off the ceiling still hiding the darkness than started clawing at the ground digging hole. Delano also tapped a message telling Kikiania after she dug straight down to dig to the right to get the people from underneath. Delano grinned they can't hit what they don't know where i am at. little less would they except a giant lizard to be able to dig a tunnel dispite the fact any beast can make a hole.
