Tamers (Started/Accepting Via OOC)

Jack smiled and inhaled deeply before testing the water with his toe. "My Gods that is hot!!" He exclaimed "Excellent." He said before backing up and getting a look of battle on his face. "KISARIGI!!! SWAN DIVE!!!" He mimed throwing his axe above the water and then instinctivley jumped after it. As he came closer to the water one thought crossed his mind. (I wonder if Bane would've liked this bath...my goodness im so inconsiderate to not have ASKED him...ah well i guess he's enjoying himself with Sir Irwin. Perhaps he's playing Poker...he's awfully good at that) He thought as he came closer to impact with the water

Daena smiled back at the boy this time; that boundless energy reminded her of her fairy partner. "Alright then, Be sure of that." By this point Daena had slowed down considerably, in case the group was running into a trap. She checked all of her belongings one last time, them cocked her head back to look at Irenia on her shoulder.

 

"Ready?"

 

"Of course! Can't let those kids beat me, you know!"

 

Irenia was already stocking magic the moment Daena signaled her to slow down. At this point she had multiple strands of light circling her, ready to be used. Irenia herself was leaning forward, and her wings were flapping excitedly.

 

Daena faced forward again. "Alright. Remember, we might not even *have* to fight..." Irenia rolled her eyes; back in the game at least, these types of situations turned into fight 95% of the time, yet Daena always insisted on expecting a peaceful resolution first. She was kind of hoping that Daena was right, but if they even so much look at Daena funny...

Matsue had effectively asserted that she would be going with them to find Rift. Somehow Evelyn, and most likely the others, didn't fully believe. It was clear that she both wanted and did not want to go off with them. And though it was tough to see her push herself like that, Evelyn did like that she was willing to try and face her fear of the water in order to help find a friend.

"That's been decided, we should be going then." Evelyn said. She started on the way out of the inn, Flamme following right behind. She didn't go too far though as Crystal was the person who would be able to find Rift and so it made the most sense to have her lead the way.

"You seem happy." Flamme said commenting on Evelyn's generally brighter mood. She'd had a smile going since Matsue said she'd be coming.

"It's nice to see that Matsue cares enough about Rift to try and come to terms with her fear." she said. The rest of the group was out before much longer.

"So, Crystal, which way are we headed?" she questioned.

Landing beside and near Josh Sammie leapt off of Eli and held his knife to his face while giving Zane a very menacing look, "I don't know or care who you are mister but you better not be trying to rob my firend!!!"

 

"R-Rob?!" Josh said startled when his friends suddenly came up and started threatening Zane. Susie had took his hand and attempted to pull him away from Zane so the others could attack him if they needed too. Harriet and Eli had remained back to watch and see if there really was any need to attack this unsuspecting man.

"I guess I should get some sleep," Seline thought as she walked into her room and shut the door, making sure it was locked tightly; she wasn't worried about others coming in, but it was Sir Irwin she didn't want getting into her room. Once she had it shut she walked over to the bed and removed her weapons and placed them on the counter top with a sigh. She just couldn't imagine what had possessed her master to take on those two unruly people as assistance; wasn't she enough? Once she had disarmed herself Seline sluggishly removed her outter garments and kicked those across the floor. Wearing some light undergarments she removed the pin used to hold her braided hair and let it flow out completely; a crack catching her attention.

 

"W-Who's there!?" she asked grabbing the hunting knife, which had been the closest thing, and looked around towards the noise- nothing visable. Seline didn't move from her spot and listned closely for the next place the noise would, if it ever did, come from. After a couple seconds she let out a sigh and seathed the large knife, "I guess it was just the Inn crewaking . . . must be old . . ."

 

"Not as old as this trick," Sir Irwin's voice said right into Seline's ear, which made her jump and scream. Before she could lash out at her master, both out of fear and anger of having been watched in secret, he scooped her up and leapt out of the window with her.

 

"W-What the hell do you think you're doing master!? People will thank you've just kidnapped me!" she screamed as they hovered in midair for a minute while he looked back with a grin, "I just thought you needed to bond with your new associates Seline . . . and what better way to bond than a nice soothing . . . BATH!!!"

 

Without another word Sir Irwin let go of her right over the bath and laughed as she splashed into it.

"We're going to head a couple miles South Southeast and then go directly to the West. From what I'm able to make out," Crystal said while she stepped out of the Inn with everyone before climbing into the boat before finally sitting down on it.

 

"Alright lets get going! I call the back seat!" Yaming said sitting into the second boat which had been provided by the townspeople and allowed enough room for herself and who ever accompanied her to be comfertable. Matue, on the other hand, shakingly walked over from the Inn to the end of the dock; her motions more like an out of date robot than a real human. Once she had reached the end of the dock Matsue could feel her heart racing as she moved one leg into the boat with Crystal and then the other. Standing in the boat her eyes began to tear up as she breathed quickly while sitting down, "W-We won't . . . f-flip overe will we?"

Zane nodded yes, and then Rio nudged him and pointed. They too saw the figures and Rio stood in front of Zane since he was physically stronger. Zane grabbed his Tome out and got ready for combat, he knew he probably would lose if Rio went down so he went ahead and cast a spell that would temporarily increase Rio's endurance for seven minutes. After that he flipped to the part with combat and defensive spells and waited.

 

"I hope they aren't here to kill us. They friends of yours?" Zane asked the newcomer. Zane was just happy to know he wasn't the only Tamer here, especially since he didn't have any idea where here was.

 

"boss, I'm ready." Rio stated. Zane just nodded in response and they were ready for combat.

"Finally sleep..." Arty was mere seconds from falling over, mere moments from sleep when the Pheonix on his shoulder brought up an unfortunate fact.

"Ummm... Where am I to sleep, Arty?"

The point made sense: Pheonix's and straw beds were never known to be close friends.

"Ughh... Fine, have my bag. It's not exactly comfortable, but it's fire proof. Just don't open it... the contents are not..." Those were the last words spoken before he drifted into sleep.

Jack looked up to see Seline come crashing down on top of him in her undergarments. Needless to say this caught him off guard and he put his hands up to defend himself. Unfortunatley for him this landed him with his hands in a rather...innappropriate position. Well inappropriate for a man who had not made his intentions for a woman known. But Jack had no such intentions that he knew of. So to him it was just Seline had landed on top of him and he had braced her fall with his hands. "Umm...hello there...comrade...nice of you to...quite literally DROP in." He said with a hint of humor and a smirk on his face.

"Whoa!"

 

Daena was almost knocked off balance as Sammie rushed passed her to threaten Zane and protect Josh. Does he even need protecting? Daena thought to herself as she approached them. The first thing she spotted was Zane's spellbook. Why is it always mages? Daena thought. That makes, what... the third one in a row? She didn't notice she was ignoring the twins in her list, who were probably melee types, or thieves at least.

 

Besides that, he didn't look all that threatening. Of course, with him being a caster, his power was probably in his spellbook. Indeed, he had just cast.... something; Daena was unskilled at reading spells. She deduced that it was a preparation-type spell of some sort, a spell cast before an encounter. And the fact that he still held his book out and ready, showed that he was still wary of them.

 

Daena stayed quiet a bit longer and watched what the human and the Qareen did. It turned out that they were indeed acting cautiously, and was ready to battle at any time. Irenia got that feeling as well, and began to speak up. What she said, however, was surprising.

 

"I... We are not here.... to fight." Irenia was speaking, struggling to find the words she wanted to say. It sounded cute and made Irenia seem defenseless, her words matching her voice instead of clashing with it. "We just wanted to make... sure Josh... is alright."

 

Daena thought of saying something, but settled on observing Irenia for now. She was happy that her partner was attempting a peaceful solution first, but she could not for the life of her figure out why. Because she still felt uneasy, she did not holster her crossbow, and kept it in her hand at her side,

Zane's eyes darted back and forth between the group and the person he now knew was named Josh. He quickly analyzed the situation and closed his Tome. "Rio, stand down." Zane said, more like ordered though. Rio left his position with a nod, but remained in their way in case they tried something.

 

"I guess that you people are also Tamers? Would someone please give me a sitrep on what exactly is going on?" Zane questioned. he didn't like crowds and was eager to be rid of these people. Rio watched Zane, hoping that he wouldn't let his temper get the best of him in this situation.

"We're stuck in some alternate world." It was Daena's turn to speak. Irenia visibly revealed, with her wings no longer flapping as rapidly. "It seems based off of Tamers, or the other way around... not sure which yet. There's some weird time.... stuff happening too," Daena said shrugging. Zane seemed completely lost; perhaps he was warped here recently. Much like her, except she has a lead. "We're heading somewhere where we might get some clues... but we..." Daena paused as she glanced at Josh out the corner of her eye. "we haven't made much progress in *getting* there."

 

Daena smiled after summing up her situation. It was obvious she enjoyed dispensing that information. "If there is anything else you'd like to know, I'll try to answer," she finally added, not thinking about what would happen if he asked a question she didn't have an answer to...

When Deana glanced at Josh while she was speaking he couldn't help but let out an ebarrassed laugh. He had been guesssing this entire time and it was true, the only reason they hadn't gotten there yet was because of him. Little did he know that Eli had managed to get their locvation out of a cery annoying tree nymph. While they spoke Susie put away her weapons before taking a step forward, "It is not my place to say . . . but you can come with us if you want."

 

"Yeah! You canbe the fourth musketter or something like that!" Sammie yelled getting all excited abvout thinking of their group as some short of super heroes. Eli nor Harriet attempted to correct him, knowing that it would never work anyways.

Seline lifted herself up, not having realized yet her . . . ummm . . . position, Seline rubbed the back of her head as she heard Jack speaking. Opening one eye through the pain shesaw him below her and the sentation of water lapping at her waist made her remember that Sir Irwin had dropped her into the bath after she was getting ready for bed. It was then she realized the situation; she was in the bathhouse with nothing more than her night gown.

 

She began to turn a bright red as her eyes wandered down to see if Jack could . . . well there is no way to go around this . . . to see if Jack could see anything revealing. She then felt Jack's hand on her and that was the last straw, "J-Ja-JACK!!!!"

 

Loosing her self control Seline shoved him back and gave quite a nice punch to the side of his face. Once she had clocked him Seline rose up out of the bath water and quickly went for the exite, "Stupid men!"

"I wonder how Seline is doing?" Sir Irwin said to himself while looking out the window at the half moon. Shrugging his shoulders he then turned his attention to his problem 'student' Delano. It seemed as if Jack was willing to change but Delano seemed stuck in his ways; making him more of a challenge. Raising his hands up Sir Irwin began to speak a little chant, knowing the outcome would give Delano something to do.

 

Meanwhile as Delano walked there seemed to be a sensation of being watched. He would look behind him only to see that no one was around, or feel a touch when he knew there hadn't been someone beside him a second ago.

Jack sat in the water as his face swole. And several things occured to him at once. That hurt. Where the heck did she come from? Why did she hit him? Seline has soft boobs. And of course. that hurt....alot. And of course in culmination of all of these individual thoughts he could only compile one sentence to sum it all up adequatley. "What the bloody frigging hell just happend?" He asked rubbing his face and wincing

"Hmm... wow what a ghost time" Delano said to himself than decided to climb up onto the roof of a building for a better view of the town "Interesting.. Time to get back the tree" Delano said as he jumped from rooftop to rooftop back to the tree where Kikiania slept. and laid down open a branch and fell a sleep.

[Sploda]

"Thanks but no thanks, I rather work alone. Rio, things are a bit to crowded here, lets go." Zane said, the last comment was the last straw. He packed up what little food and all the water him and Rio had at the camp, slung into a makeshift pack that he had made earlier in the day and began to head out. Rio lingered for a moment.

 

"Don't go feeling angry or anything, I'm sure your all very nice. Boss just has a different mindset than others, I hope you'll forgive him." Rio explained to the group. He then hurried to catch up with Zane, who was already several meters away.

 

As they left Zane didn't bother to look back, he didn't care if they used the camp or not, he had no intention of being stuck in a crowd.

"It's fine, it's fine... just be sure to not treat this world as some sort of game," Daena said, giving one last warning to the two. She could never understand why people would want to wander an unknown landscape solo, but to each their own, she figured. Irenia was pouting, she had hoped that the two would join up with the group, with her 'epic persuasion skills', as she thought they were. Alas, she would not get her chance.

 

As the two strangers walked off into the distance, Daena's eyes suddenly lit up. "Oh yeah! Tell us what you were doing when... oh... yeah...." Daena frowned, angry because she let a piece of information slip away. Still, they got some valuable information earlier thanks to Eli. "At least we know where the nearest town is now. Too bad it's so late." Daena said, looking up into the night sky. "I really don't fancy sleeping out in the fields..."

"Well I might have something that will help us," Sammie said sitting down cross legged with his Tamers System nestled between his legs. Clicking what appeared to be random buttons as the system responded. A bright light then began to emmit from it as a small block appeared, Susie grabbing to show everyone, "We . . . acquired . . . this from a passerby."

 

"Its supposed to be some kind of house or instant campsite!" Sammie added in snatching the block from his siter and holding it out for Deana.

"You grabbed me!" Seline yelled over her shoulderas she covered her front. She hadn't noticed that her night gown hadn't gotten wet enough to become see through, but she wasn't willing to risk it. She had never been so emberrassed in her life. It was as if she could feel everyone in the Inn listening in on their conversation and she couldn't stand it.

Jack got out of the bath shortly after Seline scratching the back of his head. He picked up the clothes he had left near the bath and got dressed. All of a sudden Jack felt the impulse to follow Seline. And mess with her on the way back "Yeeah...this is gonna be the death of me...but i'll be damned if it wont be fun" He said to himself smirking satisfactorily as he began to walk back to the room catching up with Seline. "Sup gorgeous?" He asked teasingly

Daena took the block and examined it. "Instant campsite, huh? Wonder if it'll be better than the sleeping out in the open." Daena vaguely recalled hearing about one from an NPC back in the game, but she couldn't remember any of the specifics.

 

As she continued examining it, she spotted a button on the underside. "Huh, is this how to activate it?" Daena asked herself before instinctively pressing the button. "Whoops," Daena said rather flatly as she placed the cube on the ground and let it do its thing.

When Delano and Kikiania awoke the Night has not broke yet. Getting out of the tree Delano and Kikiania walked to the inn. "IRWIN SELINE JACK YOU STILL HERE" Delano yelled not caring people still sleeping or the fact he may attract unwanted attention, but delano cared not. DElano and Kikiania walked into the inn expecting people to start screaming like little babies

"Damn... Stupid bed..."

 

2 hours. That was the approxamite of how much sleep Arty had gotten, due to the fact that in his straw bed, an uncooperative piece of straw decided to repeatly stab him in the eye as he turned in his sleep.

 

He decided that complaining here wouldn't do anything either, seeing as he had gained his accomidations via a "freebie". So instead, he decided to see what else this Inn had to offer, hoping that by the time he got back, he'd be too tired to care what does or doesn't blind him in the middle of the night. Walking through the hallways aimlessly, he wondered what this minorly luxurious Inn had to offer.

 

"Hope they have a buffet..."

"Sup gorgeous?" Seline had heard Jack call out to her from behind. And she so waswn't in the mood to play around like that at the moment. Her anger getting the better of her Seline clenched her fist and spun around to give Jack another well landed blow to the face. She then held her hand, shaking she was so angry, in front of her face as she spoke, "Don't you . . . EVER . . . and I mean EVER . . . say something like that to me again!"

 

Not a couple seconds after she had finished threatening Jack did both of them hear Delano yelling out into the night like a lunatic. Turbning around she waved her hand in the air to catch his attention, "Delano we're over here!!!"

"Ok everyone back away- NOW!" Sammie said rushing back while his sister pulled on Deana's arm; almost pulling too hard. Josh was the only one who didn't move, even though Ave had left his side, and looked down at the blinjking cube, "Really you're all worried about something so small like this?"

 

"No Josh get over here!"

 

"Drop it!!!" Susie seemed to beg as theysaw Josh pick it up and examine it. Both twins, even Harriet and Eli as well, were telling him to drop it and get away as fast as he could. Instead he merely raised an eyebrow before tossing it over his shoulder, "Yeah sure fine, no problem."

 

BOOM! went the loud crackle of the cube exploding, of some shorts, into a small cabin that would've smooshed Josh if it had been anywhere near him. Slowly turning his head Josh only hgave an uneasy laugh as the housing cube finsihed smoking.

Once Arty had reached downstairs he seemed tobe the only one there; at that late of an hour you would've expected at least couple people outside. Looking around there wasn't a soul to be spotted even outside the inn- quite curious. It was when he heard a footstep that his attention was finally given a direction to head.

Daena and Irenia were both sweating profusely as Josh was standing around messing with the cube. When the children said that the activated cube was dangerous, there was no reason at all to doubt their warnings. Of course, Josh was being stubborn or dense right now... or both. Daena was visibly relieved once the cabin was created with no injuries to a certain mage in their group.

 

"Josh...." Daena began, placing her hand on his shoulder. "Please be more aware of your surroundings...." She wasn't one to get emotional, but of course she was glad her friend didn't die. Especially from something like this.

 

"Hey!" Irenia called out, "So what's inside?" She was flying about the front of the cabin door, unable to get inside without breaking down the entire door.

 

"Alright, alright." Daena replied, letting go of Josh's shoulder. "Let's get inside then."

Delano saw the waving hands walked over to where Jack and Seline were "What the heck is going on over here?" Delano said looking at Seline's red face full of anger than back at Jack slightly confused. Delano than starting to think 'hmming my lance is nice and all but i wonder if a katana would be a better combat weapon for me. o well won't know because i can afford or make at this time' Kikiania looked at both Seline, Jack, and Delano at the same time puzzled about what had happened

Josh couldn't help but feel like a complete and total idiot at that moment when the cube expanded into a full sized cabin; if he hadn't of thrown it he would've gone the way of the Wicked Witch of the West. But then Deana placed her hand on his shoulder and, with a lot of concern in her voice, told him to be more aware of his surroundings, "Yeah I will . . . thanks."

 

With that Irenia interrupted, having asked what was inside, and everyone went to the door. Harriet unlocked it and swung the door open to reveal a quaint little cabin with a gas stove and everything they'd need for the night. Looking around inside Josh smiled and for once felt that nothing would go wrong.

 

". . . and to the right is Deana and Josh's room," Eli finished saying, having given everyone a breif tour, and pointed to the room on the opposite end of the cabin. What he had said caught Josh's attention quickly- sharing a room with Deana? "God I hope there is two beds or else I'm going to be sleeping on the floor," he thought to himself.

Sleine crossed her arms and turned her head away from Jack, obviously still mad at him, and then spoke to Delano, "Nothing[/i] is wrong Delano . . ."

 

"Oh so here you three are," Sir Irwin called form down the hall and caught their attentions. Smiling he walked confidently towards the three, though he only had to worry about Seline attacking; but it seemed as if he knew she wouldn't. In fact she didn't even raise a finger to slap him despite what he had done to her. Was she waiting for him to drop his guard? Thnat might take a while . . .

Delano lifted an eye brow "Thanks for the obivious sign that something happened" Delano said knowing it was most likely something embrassing. Delano pressed for the info "Seriously what happened i wanna have a good laugh" Delano than took a seat on the floor "I got all night so might as well spill the beans"
