"Yet if hope has flown away

In a night, or in a day

In a vision, or in none,

Is it therefore the less gone?

All that we see or seem,

Is but a dream within a-"

"Enough already, Talon!" The bright red bird's startled form nearly toppled over, his poetry reading so very abruptly interrupted. "Honestly, you've been cycling through that damn book so many times that by this point I was hoping you'd have accidentally burnt it." The bird turned and scowled at his peeved master, doing so carefully so as not to ignite the tree, grass, or god forbid, his poetry book in the process. "You know, just because you can't appreciate the fine elegance of the literary masters, doesn't mean I can't Artemis. Why don't you just take a nap or something like you usually do?"

Arty just merely shrugged and turned away, staring at the clouds with his back propped against the tree on the hill. "Tried. It's hard to nap when you started reading the depressing, creepy stuff. Oh, and the thunder. Can't forget about the thunder..." The rain around him slowing to a stop, the world in his view had gained a shimmering liquid tint, evidence of the storm which had only moments ago forced him and his Aqua-phobic companion under the nearest tree for rain protection.

His hand graced his bag and spear, pulling the items onto his person and slowly raising up from the ground. "Well, we'd better go I guess. I'm getting hungry and I haven't had an actual place to stay in a week or two." He started to proceed forward before realizing he wasn't being followed and turned around. "Arty, forgetting something?" Artemis sighed, and picked up the poetry book that was propped against the tree, earning a beaked smile from talon before continuing in the direction he had started.

"Allow me the carry the staff, I want to try, just a little." The persistent little beast continued to beg while resting on Altaira's head, his his golden coat lively and noticable surrounded by the damp and depressing scenery. He rested, enjoying the rain and its wonders, while Altaria was not enjoying it one bit, and the constant begging was not helping her mood. He fidgeted when Altaria said no for around the fifth time, and found a new, more comfortable position than the last one. His clear crystal embedded in his head was perfectly dry, which was no suprise to Altaria. She shook her head, causing him to open his eyes.

"Hey, watch it. My fur does not go well with mud." Bryce mumbled as he attempted to regain his position, but failed. He peered down to see what was the matter, connecting his eyes with Altaria's. The rain slowly came to an end, and it became clear, the icy-cold look that indicated something new was approaching. He tossed a little, and then yawned, jumping off of Altaira's head, and landing onto flat ground. Bryce looked around, but saw nothing. Altaria was frozen, then her gaze softened, whatever she saw went away. Altaria's gaze softened, thankful for dodging an encounter. Bryce understood the situation, thn jumped back onto Altaria's head.

"Remember, you can use that special staff in case of trouble. What a horrible aura it exerts, though, I don't like it." Bryce seemed to sound like he was mimicing someone, someone Altaria didn't catch right away. But he was right, and so Altaria looked on her side for the right staff. She pulled it out, and gripped it hard. It was cold, a cold not from the rain or temperature, but it had an inner cold that she did not like. Altaria continued onward, Bryce jumping back onto her head.

Sven noticed that the kids Lilith gave the money to, were poor. This reminded him of his past more, but he continued to follow her. As he saw the argument and got close, he noticed Lilith step in between them. He knew that things would get ugly fast if the brute got any angrier. He moved closer slowly through the crowd, making his way to the front in case he needed to step in. "What is she thinking," Sven asked himself. He wanted to find out about more about her, since she was very mysterious. Though her kindness could get her into trouble if she wasn't careful.

"Alright!" the twins said and began to pull on Deana's hands while JOsh followed behind quietly. Heading out into the refreshing air that occurs once a heavy rain has finished Deana couldn't help but forget about the problem she had caused by fiddeling with her Tamers System; in act it was easy to forget seeing as their was no lasting damage. Stepping out himself Josh looked up from his own Tamers SYstem and smiled at Deana and the twins, him too forgetting about what had happened, "So how far do you think we'll have to walk to get to the train station?"

"We have to walk!?" Sammie complained as he frowned and pouted, "Of course we have to walk knucklehead!"

"Children I can carry you if you want," Harriet said stooping down while Sammie climbed on her back, the woman's hair wrapping around his body to ensure he wouldn't fall. Looking over Josh asked Susie if she wanted help, to which she replied she was a big kid and didn't need help.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The man stood up taller and raised his hand as if to slap the woman, but stopped once he met her eye to eye. It was something about her, not the way she looked or the aura that surrounded her, but instead he had a feeling that if he laid a hand on her . . . he would be in a lot of trouble. Shoving his hand into his pockets the man turned around quickly, mumbeling that she was not worth it, and continued to leave; the crowd dispersing along with them. The woman then took a quick look around before heading off without being noticed . . . at least . . . not unnoticed by everyone but Sven.
Sir Irwin and Seline were puzzled once Jack and Delano mentioned their Tamers Systems. Neither knew what was going on and for all they could fathom was that both of them had on them some short of device that wasn't supposed to make noise. Seline took Jack's System and looked it over and began to poke and prode it, "So what is this thing?"
"Well, I suppose we should be heading to the Inn about now," Sir Irwin said raising to his feet.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Moving along the freshly rained on grass. The sun was shinning and for once Arty could completely forget that he had somehow been transported into another world. For once he was actually enjoying himself and not worrying about getting back home; but then again most of his time was spent arguing with his aprtner he hadn't taken mu8ch notice even when his train of thought did go to his predicament.

The walk took some time and his pants legs got throughly soaked before he spotted a village in the distance. It looked like he and Talong would have a warm bed and a good meal in their stomachs tonight!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Having headed out into the vast world Altaria and Bryce had found themselves in they could see a village close to them and within minutes entered it. It was like a part of the game, but it was way too realistic . . .
The sights, the sounds, even the occassioanl sensation of someone brushing past them felt all too real. The sound of clacking hooves caught his attention as a centaur passed him pulling a cart, the beast carrying on a conversation with the person on the cart. Then someone bumped into him hard enough to shove him down and, looking up, he could see that it was a beautiful woman. Standing up the woman gave a bow and pulled a hood over her ehad, "E-Excuse me . . ."
The rest of the group came down wondering what the noise coming from the Tamers systems was all about. Eithal brought Evelyn's wrist close to see the system and questioned if it might have been broken. Evelyn was pretty sure it wasn't, or rather she was really hoping that it wasn't broken because she had thought it might be involved in somehow getting back to her world.
"I doubt that, I mean I hope it isn't. I really, really hope it isn't. The lightning strike is the only thing I can think of that might have done it but if the lightning broke it I'd think it would have gone off then and not two hours later. Let's see what's wrong here." Evelyn said. She brought the system away from Eithal and then close to her face and began looking through the options and menus to see what could possibly be going on with the system. She stepped just outside the door to the inn as the sound was a bit easier to take outside where there weren't walls to to make it seem louder than it really was.
Both girl's Tamers System suddenly stopped ringing and flashing as Evelyn clicked random buttons. She had either stumbled on the way to fix it, or more likely, it had stopped on their own accord. Looking down at her system Crystal moved it over and was not sure what had suddenly happened with it, "Do you really think the lightning strike ruined it? I mean . . . what if we've lost everything?"
"What do you mean everything?" Yaming asked and was sure what part the Tamers System played into their 'other worldly friends'. A sudden 'white noise' made everyone jump as Rift's voice suddenly came over both Evelyn and Crystal's Tamers System, "H~Hel . . . ? Any~ . . . ~er?"
"Wha!? I-Is that Rift?" Matsue blarred out, momentarily forgetting where she waqs, and ran over to Crystal. She grabbed hold of Evelyn and looked at it as Rift's voice continued to crackle in over the 'intercom' feature of the Tamers Systems.
As the man went to slap her, Sven was about to reach out and stop him. He wasn't about to let someone hurt someone who helped the poor. Then when he walked away, he wondered why the man had stopped. Then he noticed Lilith leave and waited until the crowd cleared enough to follow her. So Sven followed her while staying out of her sight. "What is she up to," Sven asked himself as he followed her to wherever she was going.
Evelyn had stepped back inside once the ringing had stopped only see Rift's face appear on both her and Crystal's Tamers units. Yaming and Matsue were certainly surprised but that didn't mean Evelyn and Crystal weren't themselves. Seeing Rift and hearing his voice asking if anyone was there was about the last thing Evelyn had expected.
"I didn't know the systems did this. At least, it's never done anything like this before!" Evelyn said quietly. She was mostly voicing her thoughts aloud. Though she couldn't stay shocked forever. It seemed Rift was trying to contact them and they needed to find out what was going on.
"Rift! Rift, can you hear us? Where are you? We're all safe in an inn in Afon, where are you?" Evelyn said. Since Rift's message seemed interrupted somewhat by static Evelyn had been sure to try and speak clearly as well as repeat the two questions she wanted answered to make sure he caught them at least once. Flamme stared up at Evelyn from the floor, curious and yet unable to see what was really going on as Evelyn's wrist was still a good foot or two above his head. He knew they were somehow in contact with Rift though.
"ok" Delano said puttin on the new bone boots, torso(made of the ribs with fur on it.), the glove-ganulet claws on both his hands each with an opening to slide his hands in a grip like thing to close fist to hold the claws for when he swung his fist. Than he put all of the other bones on to the leftover fur and tied it up and put in on Kikiania. "Ready when ya'll are"
Jack put his new axe in his holster and stood up. "Well lets get going." He said taking out a box of tea cakes. "Oh man...we got so busy fighting that damned bear we never stopped for tea." He said giving the Box an exasperated look. "Ah well...waste not want not." He said to himself as he began eating the dry cakes. "Anyone else want some tea cake?" He asked holding up a strawberry frosted cake peice.
Daena was enjoying the brisk walk with the others; the children made things much more livelier. They're good kids, Daena thought to herself. Too bad they were sent here. Well, they were players after all, so they should have some way to protect themselves. Perhaps I should sit down with them and learn about their capabilities in battle. That'll up our chances at survival. But I don't want to put them in harm's way. Of course, there's always the option to...
"Daena! Daena!" Irenia was floating in front of Daena calling out to her. Since Daena went deep into thought the fairy was circling around her, trying to get her attention, yet only now succeeded.
"Huh? What's wrong?" Daena replied. She had no idea that she had slipped into her own world and was walking on autopilot. She was even mouthing her thoughts, although little sound came out.
"Glad you're feeling better!" Irenia said, sprouting a wide smile.
"Well, I can't stay like that forever, right?" Daena replied. It was true. She *was* feeling better than she was just moments ago. She just took that experience as a lesson, and use that knowledge to further her ultimate goal: returning home. "We just need to get to the capital..." With that said, Daena sped up a bit and moved next to Josh, "Say, how far are we from that train station, anyway?"
As the dew licked Arty's mildly worn shoes he looked ahead as hope filled his unenthusiastic form. "Finally, a place to stay! And an almost quiet looking one at that. Come on, the faster I get out of these soggy garms the better." It only took a quick walk-run, but eventually they made it to the entrance of the town. As the slowly walked through the streets, their eyes scanned up and down taking in all around them before stopping to layout a plan.
"Alright, first thing to do is find a place to stay. Maybe an inn with an extra room or two." Talon nodded and pointed with his feathered arm in front of them, aiming at a building in the distance. "I do believe that sign says inn over there arty." To Artemis however, all he saw was a blur of letters to far away to make out. "Does it? man, for a pheonix you must have eyes like a hawk." Trusting this intel, they proceeded to the supposed inn, unsure of what may or may not happen.
"Oh, it is okay, madam." Bryce said gleefully, glad something of interest heppened today. He hopped back onto Altaria's head and was about to settle himself, and then move on, but Altaria was standing still. He made a small noise, then attempted to nudge her back into reality, but it didn't work. He sighed; Altaria was the most unproductive partner he could of been paired with. She paused every second to absorb her scenery, slowing down everything by tenfold. It was annoying, but he learned to deal with it. He sighed once more, then got ready to scold her, but Altaria made a noise first.
"That... everything... it's so real." Altaria murmured. She was too much in a shock to ask why, to the woman, and she left. Soon Altaria was starting to annoy some people, so she moved out of the way, and decided to test if she was dreaming or not. She touched the wood of the nearest wall, and felt the little splinters on the wood prickle her skin. Bryce was curious as to what she was doing, but he knew Altaria had her own ways of doing things, so he didn't interrupt.
"I'm in the middle of a giant lake! Where do YOU think I akm!?" Rift yelled through the intercom, obviously annoyed and sounding like he was already at his wits end. Yaming pulled on Evelyn's wrist, toget the device closer to herself, and spoke, "Rift no need to yell. NO can you tell exactly where you are?"
"Rift?" Matsue asked once it had gone silent. Static kicked in before a beeping noise made everyone look down, seeing a small holographic circle coming out and three dots appearing on it. Bending over Crystal looked at it and her jaw almost dropped to the ground, "I don't believe it . . . I never thought I'd see this in my own Tamers Unit . . ."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Seline had completely forgotten about know that Jack had tried to attack them, or at least momentarily forgot, and happily took one of the sweet cakes befo0re popping it into her mouth. By her reaction you woulda thought she'd just bite into the most delicious piece of strawberry frosted cake you would ever find in the entire world; at least to her it was. Seline all too quickly finished the cake off and was asking Jack for another one, "Oh wow what was that!? Can I have another? Please!? Please?! PLEASE!?"

And it pretty much remained that way all the way into town and into the front lobby of the Inn that Sir Irwin had rented. Looking around he gave a small sigh when Kiki and Bane stood in the entry way, gathering a lot of attention from concerned people staying there, "I think it would be best to disguise our friends here . . ."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Josh almost tripped over his own two feet when Deana sped up and stopped beside him. He hadn't noticed her moving up beside him and once she called out her new appearance caught him off guard; he couldn't help think of how cute she looked now, not that she hadn't before. Looking up into the sky he scratched the back of his head and shrugged his shoulder, "I'm not really sure. Adrian only gave us general directions. We might not reach the next city for a couple more days- if not weeks. After all we dont have a map . . ."
"Oh you don't have a map?" Susie said a bit high and mighty, giving a 'cool' looking smirk as she dug into her sack, closing hereyes she continued to feel around for whatever it was but then tripped over a rock and fell on her face; making Sammie start laughing at his sister.
"Are you alright little miss?" Harriet asked picking the girl off the ground and dusting her off. Susie merely nodded and yanked out a wrinkled old piece of paper, "We have a map . . ."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sven had followed the woman from the confrontation with the giant of a man until she ran into someone who appeared to be completely lost. The two ran into each other and before the girl could say anything the woman had went on the move again. Sven might have followed her if his attention hadn't been caught by the Tamers Devce mounted on the girl's wrist as she walked closer to him, but then turned to touch a wall. Had he really found another person from the real world so quickly?!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arty and Talon had reached the outskirts of the town within minutes of running and soon found themselves in the lobby of a grand hotel; it appeared to be somehting like out of old photos he had seen of the victorian era. Walking around he admired the scenary and didn't notice the looks he was getting from other partritians because of his soggy shoes that slopped with each step.
"Excvuse me sir, may I help you?" the Inn Kepper asked as he looked at Arty and Talon with a bit of undistuingishable disgust.
Daena was about to complain to Josh about losing the map they were given, but decided against it. The map could have easily been lost during the passing storm. Looks like we're gonna have to take the scenic route. Maybe we'll get lucky and get some clues along the way, Daena thought to herself. And maybe some more food for the kids...
Just then Susie jumped into the conversation, acting like she was going to solve all their problems... and then tripped face-first into the ground. Although Daena knelt down to help the young girl up, Harriet had already helped her up. And the reason why Susie acted that way was revealed... she had a map!
Susie handed Daena the map, which obviously had seen better days. Daena scanned over it, but had no idea where they were on the map; she was unable to locate any landmarks nearby she could use. Irenia was even floating nearby examining the map, although it was clear that she was just pretending to glean information from it.
Defeated, Daena handed the map to Josh, who would have the best chance of reading their location from it anyway, since he was the one who held the old map. "So, navigator," she asked in a half-joking manner. "What do you make of this?"
"That will be unneeded. Kikiania is pretty good at stealth" Delano said to Irwin while he sat on Kikiania's back with the ppl gathered around them "Kikiania lets roll" Delano said as Kikiania jumped over the crowd and ran off from the inn to get out sight from the ppl "We'll sneak back later" Delano said to Kikiania wearing his new self made armor with this lance on his back. Kikiania came to a stop infront of a large tree than climbed up the tree to hide within it until nightfall.
Jack grinned. "No problem. BANE! Disguise plan alpha." Jack said and Bane nodded in aknowledgement. "Oh and Bane...find something for Kiki too." Jack said pointing in Kiki's direction only to see that she was already gone "Ah well". Bane within moments was disguised as a Rotwieler. "You see back when me and Bane were in the business of breaking into houses there were times when disguise was neccesarry. And it was at that point i discovered that with only slight modification he looked like a normal dog"
Zane finally opened his eyes after what he thought was an endless fall. He woke up fully a few minutes later. As he looked around he found himself lying next to a lake. He wasn't sure if he could make out a series of small figures on the other side but he wrote it off and began to look around. He noticed a few trees to his left and Rio was sleeping to his right. Zane then picked up his items system and saw something was curiously wrong with it. He had no data on himself at all. All of Rio's data and stats were there but not his. He pondered it for a moment but then decided to let it slide for now.
"Rio wake up, we need to get moving." Zane said while nudging Rio's side. Rio stirred but refused to waken so Zane, getting annoyed, kicked him and Rio bolted up. He looked around wondering who was attacking him he then saw that they were no longer where they were.
"Hey Boss, where is this?" Rio asked. The last thing he remembered was that he and Zane were about to be beaten at the Tamers Tournament when suddenly everything went black.
"I don't know Rio, but I do know that we can't stay here. We need to find food and shelter, and fast." Zane said. Rio saluted and rushed off towards the trees. Zane followed behind.
"Well it's out of mint condition and we'd really not get any money out of it if we sold it," Josh said flipping the map over and over again while keeping a straight face. Susie and Sammie nearly lost it when they thought he was going to sell their map and Sammie ran forward, manuevering past Eli's attempt to hold him back, and looked up at JOsh, "Hey! We had to steal that from a very big and mean looking guy you know! You can't sell it!!!"
"I . . . wasn't going to . . ."
"But you said!" Sammie said his mouth dropping completely confused; he hadn't realized it was all a crude joke. Shaking his head Josh told him the truth and, addressing Deana, told her that he actually only had guesses to were they were while he was reading the map, "I actually was just guestimating on our location while we were walking. Did you honestly expect me to know where we were?"
JOsh hadn't meant to sound rude, but none the less he was truely flaterred that Deana was willing to place so much confidence in him; and then he goes and shatters it by opening his big mouth. Coughing he looked down at the map before whisteling to Ave, who had been circeling ever since the storm passed over.
"I'll see if I can find any landmarks from the sky and get back to you!" he said taking off with Ave. Susie and Sammie chased after the Roc until it took flight, Eli and Harriet staying behind with Deana and Irenia. Trading glances the two creatures, they could hardly be considered monsters, nodded to each other; Eli turning to Deana, "I-If you would ma'am . . . I could discover our location . . ."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Seline didn't hesitate to sock Jack in the arm, rather hard I might add, once he mentioned breaking into other people's houess. Scowling at him she shook her head before yanking him down so she could whisper in his ear, "I don't know what you all did before you came here . . . but try not to give master or myself a reason to distrust you, okay? And don't blurt stuff like that out again!"

Releasing his ear Seline patted down her dress and shook some of her loose hair over her shoulder before promptly walking up to the front counter. It was then Jack could hear her speaking a drastically different dialect than he had heard her before; but the language wasn't completely unfamiliar. It almost . . . sounded like what the NCPs back home would make. His treal of thorugh interrupted by Sir Irwin's touch he looked over to see the man nodding, "Alright our rooms are ready . . . time to go."

Once upstairs Sir Irwin stated that one room would be for Seline herself and the other he'd be sharing with Jack and Delano; mentioning that Kiki and Bane would also be staying in the same room. Opening the door he looked at Jack and then motioned towards the window, "Now can you go get Delano in from that cold night air? He is sure to catch his death out there . . ."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Man it just goes on for miles and miles," Josh said to himself as the wind blasted in his ears. He had been flying for about ten minutes now and yet everfything looked the same. The only reason he hadn't lost sight of Deana and the twins was because he hadn't gone too far yet; he was actually just going higher into the sky. However something in the distance did catch his attention . . . and it was moving!
"Come on Ave, lets go check it out!" and with that the Roc folded his wings in and shoot off towards Zane and Rio.
Jack walked back to the Tree Delano was hiding behind. All the while he thought and contemplated his situation. "First my bloody Tamer System stops working...then Seline speaking that damned gibberish the NPC's speak?...This really is more than a game...and i fear...no...no it's IMPOSSIBLE." He concluded. "What is a GAME cannot become real...but...at the same time." He looked at his own hand. he took off the white gloves he wore and looked at his fingertips. Paying close attention to his detailed fingerprints. "John...Blackmoore...ah nevermind him..." He said putting his gloves back on. "Delano!! We've got the room prepared So you can come out now."
What? Doesn't he know how important this is? How important it is to find our way home? Why didn't he just say that he wasn't sure where he was going? Daena was fuming, and although she didn't show it, her anger contributed to the awkward silence that followed Josh's confession. After he flew off to get a bird's eye view of the area, Daena sighed. At least it seems like he understands our situation better now... Irenia sighed as well; she didn't want the two to fight.
Just then, Eli made a startling statement. He could find out where they are. Daena's eyes opened wide, while Irenia excitedly flew in front of Eli's face.
"You can?" the diminutive fairy asked. "That's *amazing*!"
"Sorry if I seem skeptical," Daena said, crossing her arms. "But... how?" She then closed her eyes as a smile formed on her lips. If he could discern their location, that would be enough. "Looks like a demonstration is in order, if you don't mind."
In Artemis' eye's the Hotel was beautiful. The art, the elegance, the overall design. He felt almost ritzy just to be in the same area as this foyer, honored almost. But if their was one thing he learned from his rather uneventful other life, it was that any place that looked this good, always cost you... in more ways than one.
"Oh great, Stuffies. Just what I need: A whole bunch of rich folk scrutinizing my every move. And lets not forget the stuffiest of them all...
His thought ended as he fixed his gaze on the man at the counter. But before he could get a word out, his fiery companion beat him to it, bowing from a top Arty's shoulder. "Excuse us, fine sir. I sincerely apologize for our down beat appearance. My companion and I were unfortunate enough to get caught in that horrible storm, and simply need a place to stay for the night. Would you happen to have any available rooms in which we could stay?" Artemis interjected, before the conversation slipped completely out of his hands. "Any CHEEP rooms. Free would be great, maybe with a window and a lockable door..."
Rift had established he was in the lake. Though how he had gone about doing that was something Evelyn had to wonder about. He didn't have his Tamers unit on him as it had been ringing not too long ago. So the question was, how did he contact them? Before long the message faded out into nothing but static. Evelyn brought her wrist back, as Yaming had pulled on it a bit to talk with Rift.
"Well that's it for his message it looks like." Evelyn said. Not long after a hologram appeared from Crystal's Tamers Unit and she was clearly amazed at what had happened. The whole group was though to be sure those from the Tamers world were far more impressed with it. Flamme seemed quite captivated by the little holographic light show. His gaze was fixed on it and he appeared to be both curious and amazed.
"What do you mean you never thought you'd see it on your system? What is it? Have you seen it before?" Evelyn asked Crystal.
"Its a map! Map Systems are supposed to be extremely rare for any player to get in the game," Crystal said clicking a few buttons to zoom into the map, "At least that was what Jake said."
"So you can find out where Rift is?" Matsue asked looking at the three blinking lights on the hologram. Crystal only nodded her head as she located where Rift was, which was apparently a few miles away from them on an isnland no more than three miles wide, "I guess his Tamers System went along with him or something . . ."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"ALL of our rooms are at least two hundred copper coins each," the hotel clerk said looking at Arty and then to his partner. Two hundred copper coins . . . that was something he definetly didn't have. Yet . . . luck seemed to be on his side ebcause as soon as he was about to turn around and leave a woman approached from behind and handed the clerk the exact ammount.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eli walked around to the nearest tree and placed his hand over the bark. The surface which he was touching soon began to glow a light green as his eyes closed, then a female voice called out, "WHo's disturbing my tree!?"
Altaria stayed calm and controlled, as her days in nobility has taught her. She coped with the situation with ease by simply adapting her large range of tolerance to include warping into video games. She thought it over, and as she pondered, Bryce comforted her with making the concept more realistic and patting her back. That eased her enough to stand, and actually think of what it all could mean. She thought about it a little more, and then turned to Bryce, which was at her legs, typical whenever Altaria was in a bad mood. She knelt down, and spoke to Bryce with a ferocity which meant she was serious.
"Do you think there are others who experienced the same fate?" Altaria said in her "business" tone, as if she was formulating a plan, even though she wasn't. Bryce looked up at the sky in wonder, and stared at her with eyes of a different color than her black and white, but full of the blue of questions and curiosity. He shook his head with disappointment, his silk golden fur gleaming in the coming twilight, a radiant being compared to his gloomy background behind him.
"I do not know, maybe, if this all was intentional. Incidents like this probably wouldn't happen often, unless someone was planning it. The questions are how this could occur, and how to get back out, as well. This is an interesting mystery, maybe someone here knows." Bryce answered, all his orange confidence leaving replaced by the blue of curiosity. He exhaled one of his trademark sighs, feeling unfortunate to have so many questions to be thrown at him at once, and not one answer to catch them with.
