Tamers (Started/Accepting Via OOC)

Once Deana had handed over the meat you could have thought the twins had recieved a gift from God by the way they looked. But then the happy faces of two children quickly turned to the normal arguing of siblings as they fought over who got 'the bigger piece' and that was finally broken up by the gentleman. Once the twins had finished their food, mentioning they hadn't had a cook meal for a while, they then decided to answer Deana's question. The boy, Sammie, began first, "How do we know your not from this world? You sure look like it . . ."

 

"Well he's got us there," Josh laughed as both him and Deana looked down at their clothing. They had long sinced changed from the 'normal' attire and had been wearing borrowed clothing from Adrian's family; thus it was nearly impossible to tell that they didn't belong in this world. Standing up Josh dug into his sack, which had been on his back the entire time, and yanked out his Tamers System, "Think this counts?"

 

"Woah!" was the unified answer from both twins as they crawled up to get a better look at the Tamers System. A quick turn of the back and both were whispering to each other, the gentleman and the woman taking their time at eating the cooked food, and then both nodded their heads. Getting up they ran out of the room and returned quickly with two Tamer Systems of their owns, "So you are from Earth like us!"

The bear's eyes grew wide as Jack's axe dug into it's collar bone; actually managing to smash it to pieces with the combined effort. Once it's collar bone was broken the bear turned around and swatted Jack in the stomach, tearing at his stomach and making him begin to bleed a lot. It was then that the combination of Kiki's sonic screech and Bane's acidic teeth hit. The sound wave hadn't stunned the beast but only caught its attention, if anyhting it only pissed the beast off more, and Bane's teeth had sunk into the muscled part of it's hind leg. Kicking Bane with it's free leg, popping the hellhounds jaw out of place, the bear limped around and went to attack Kiki.

 

"I think that is quite enough," Sir Irwin said stepping in front of the bear and taking it's remaining front leg out from under it. Once the bear had fallen to the ground the man quickly climbed on it's back, unseathed a longer than normal dagger, and stabbed it into the base of the bear's skull. With a quick twist it was dead and he looked at the others, "Is anyone seriosuly hurt?"

"Nah i just need a new Lance. Man and i liked that lance to" Delano said looking at the scattered lance pieces than picked up the hilt that was still intact "At least one piece is in one piece" Delano said than got on to Kikiania's back "Kikiania get the bear and lets take to town" Delano commended. Kikiania used one of her heads to carry the forleg of the bear while her other two heads carried the body "Time to head back" Delano said as Kikiania walked back to the town walking slightly slower than before due to the weight of the bear's corpse. "I can probably turn this bear's bones into a lance seeing as this things bones are harder than the steel of my lance than it should be a nice piece of gear. Also if we can find a smith he can probably smelt some metal onto to reinforce its strength. Though it may take some time to do" Delano said to Irwin and Jack

Daena let out a deep sigh. "So we're all from Earth. That's good." She mentally removed 'travelers from another world' from her list of theories. She then leaned forward a bit, resting her arms on her legs. "We're trying to piece together what happened, so if you don't mind us asking..." Daena said, glancing out the window and seeing that the rain hasn't relented at all. "Were you two participating in a tournament when you were sent here?"

[Deadpool II]

“Wow, that was tough, wasn’t it?” said Ethan, his skirmish with a warrior had left his shirt blood stained, and his hair drenched with sweat and dirt, Ethan’s Partner Aukai put on his happy face, “Well then, let’s go and get cleaned up.”

After Ethan was done washing the blood out of his shirt, he went to the local casino, hoping to find Aukai, and soon enough, he found him gambling off Ethan’s spare cash at the poker tables, Ethan frowned, it was the fifth time this week that Aukai gambled off all of Ethan’s spare cash, Ethan walked up to the table, grabbed the ragdoll and what was left of his cash, and went outside, “Aukai, stop gambling off all of my cash! It would be helpful if you actually won though, but anyway, no more gambling! I know it’s more exciting to lose on purpose, but no more! Not even if you win!”

Aukai put on his sad face, Ethan frowned, “Sorry buddy, but we’ve got better things to do”

Ethan turned around and saw a rather large Mercenary had been listening to him the whole time, ”Hand over the cash”

"I don't recall Nomen having storms like this!" Evelyn yelled over the wind in response to Rift's joke of a welcome. In the middle of the storm currently raging around them, Evelyn hadn't taken much note of Crystal grabbing on to her. The one thing she tried to do, almost subconsciously or at least without meaning to, was keep Flamme out of the rain that was still able to hit them after Yaming's spell blocked most of it. The group had spotted a house off to the right and that was where they would be headed. They'd need a place to rest for the time of the storm at the least.

"You're right, we really can't avoid getting wet as of late." Flamme said in response to the storm. He didn't seem to mind much that Evelyn was trying to keep water from reaching him. Evelyn almost didn't hear her partner over the noise of the storm. The house had taken her attention rather completely. She had to wonder what a house was doing out here and she also had to wonder if it was as abandoned as it appeared to be. It didn't look to be in too much disrepair from what she could see. But what she could see was a distanced, arial view of it and couldn't possibly reflect the real conditions of the house. With her thoughts on getting out of the rain, Evelyn did what little she could to brace herself for the upcoming landing. She doubted Iceis would mess around and through them off this time but she wouldn't put anything past her. Though if anything, an ungraceful landing would be caused by the storm and not the dragon playing a joke on her passengers.

Ichiro still had to refuse to believe this was real. If anything, this was a very strange dream. Either way, Felenix was solid and he was on his back, with his partner asking for a destination. He decided to live this dream to its fullest. If it wasn't a dream, who cares? "Just take me to a good place to fight. I'm itching for a battle right now. With your speed, it should take us a few hours, but can we stop for something to eat on the way? It may be the fact that I woke up on top of a mountain, but I am STARVING."

Sammie and Susie, the twins, looked at each other as if they had heard something amazing and then back at both Deana and Josh. In a snap they were both trying to ask them a million and one questions, each twin tugging on one of their shirts or hand. Sighing his usual sigh the gentleman stood up and apologized for the two before Sammie finally got his first question actually out, "You two were at that tournament!? Me and Eli wanted to go but couldn't."

 

The gentleman, who was the one Samme had addressed, nodded his head and spoke, "He's telling the truth. Sammie and Susie wanted to go but the accepted list had been already filled."

 

"So you and that woman are their partners?!" Josh asked, pretty much stating the obvious, and both nodded their head. He then laughed on the inside, they looked more like a family than an actual team of Tamers players; but then again Tamers was a nation wide game and he had heard of children as young as eight managing to win big prize moneys.

Kiki tugged on the bear, but it couldn't move the massive corpse, and Seline couldn't help but chuckle at their expense. Shaking his head Sir Irwin walked over to Kiki and ran his hand over the head which had hold of the bear, "You won't be able to move this . . . once dead Nomanian Bears are nearly impossible to move. So we'll eat here."

 

"Should I get our things from the Inn master?" Seline asked as he was examining the remnants of Delano's spear, having noted that it was a good idea to use the bones to make a new one, and then turned to answer, "No we'll just eat here, we can go sleep at the Inn once we're done."

The mercenary stood up and stomped over to Ethan, his entire shadow dwarfing the boy, as his hand was held out of the money, "I said hand it over boy!"

 

"Excuse me, sir?" someone called out as a sword was suddenly held close to the giant man's throat. Glancing over Ethan and the Merc could see a man, dressed in rather high tier clothing, pushhis hat down while the cane sword dangled a hair's width from his neck, "I suggest you leave the lad alone of else I'll have to make a mess of the place, hear hear?"

 

"A-A . . . y-yeah sure buddeh . . . no problem," the merc said slinking back into the crowd and disappearing.

Rift only laughed as the wind howled around them, picking him up and nearly flinging him completely off Iceis. The dragon was trying to decend the best she could, but each time a violent updraft would cause her to rise higher instead. Looking back at them she shook her head, "It's no good! The open plain here is causing too much wind for me to get down! We have to find somewhere el-"

 

A sudden jolt of lightning ran through Iceis' body, and through everyone else's, as the lightning struck Rift's Tamer system which hadn't been covered back up. Iceis began to see starts as everyone else began to black out. Her wings grew numb as the felt herself falling through the sky, the wind kicking at her face being the only thing which had kept her still concious, and knew the landing would kill everyone else. Twisting in midair she inhaled and exhaled as much ice she could manage before she finally faded out . . .

 

"Evelyn!?"

 

"Matsue!?"

 

"Midget lizard! Woman child! Eithal finds them!!!"

 

The first thing Evelyn could feel was a gigantic pounding in her head as she regained her conciousness, the next thing was a familiar wyvern's touch . . .

"Alright then! First we eat!" Felenix said as he reared on two legs like a horse before taking off. It was amazing! Ichiro had already decided that this was nothing more than a very strange dream, but WHAT a dream! The wind blowing through his hair was fresh with the scent of rain and he could feel the water droplets hitting his face as Felenix raced through the soggy fields at amazing speeds.

Ichiro continued to travel on his partner's back, feeling the wind in his hair. "This is the most fantastic dream EVER. I've never felt better," Ichiro sighed as they approaced a town. They had to climb a bit to reach it, but Ichiro was used to the heights. Being stuck on mountain after mountain got him used to high altitudes. When he entered the town, he had Felinix turn back to human as they walked through the town. No one really should have had to see a jaguar walking through this quaint little town. There were few things in this town, low population, a small bank, weapons shop, assorted restaurants, and a few other things. The most notable feature, however, was the fountain at the center of town. It was quite large, and the space between street sides gave the town a look of being larger than it was. Ichiro entered one of the restaurants without thinking, then realized, he hadn't had money before he got in there. He looked in his pockets and saw some coins. They looked just like the coins that were collected in the game. Figured. And he had just as many as he had on his profile. Plenty for food. He picked up his menu, and saw the restaurant was named "Tara's Top Tavern". They must be in Tara. He ordered some meat, told the waitress to surprise him. Then he asked his good friend, "What about you? What are you up for, Felinix?"

"Kikiania Rip off a piece for yourself" Delano said to Kikiania. Kikiania ripped off a chuck from the beast's forearm than took sit by Delano and started devouring her piece of meat. Meanwhile Delano worked on get the fur off the beast getting the beast's blood on himself. "Alright after the fur than just have to get the meat off the bones. The best bone pieces will most likely be the skul for end to guard the wielder's hand. While the bone of the forearm would be best for the lance itself along with using a tooth for the tip of the lance. After that there should be more than enough bones to make other weapons out of" Delano said the group

Daena couldn't help but smile as the children perked up and became filled with energy, despite the fact that they are all still hungry. Still, this atmosphere was nice, much better than the oppressive and gloomy atmosphere which filled the room. Even Irenia seemed to regain her energy and was flying around once again. In the end, she could not accept Eli's apology, and merely replied that everything is fine. Right now, Daena wasn't even disappointed that she didn't learn anything new yet.

 

Of course, there was still one thing she could ask. "If you weren't in the tournament, how did you all get here?" As she voiced her question, a chilling idea entered her mind, one that made he question exactly *what* was going on back on Earth after she was sent here...

Jack stood up and shook off the pain he felt. He was relativley good at that. He then approached Bane and popped his Jaw back into place. "Easy boy...this is gonna help more than it hurts." Jack said to his partner as the two of them approached the carcass. Bane dug right in and Jack looked at his now nearly dull Axehead. "Damn...this needs to be replaced NOW." He said with a laugh as he began carving at the beast's leg. "The Femur is going to be hard to dig out but the hardest bone should make for an Axe that won't dull easily. And the femur on THIS beast...welli imagine i won't be needing a replacement Axe for some time."

"Do you need to ask? I'm want fish! Also . . . I wanna meet this Tara person," he answered with a slight grin. Since he was techniqually a part of Ichiro he was able to hear bits and pieces of his Tamers thoughts, though if Ichiro actually knew this he didn't know. The waitress gave them a smile and explained that they were IN Tara, and that there was no person named such. Laughing Felenix looked at Ichiro, "So much for the beautiful girl of my dreams, hu?"

"Actually there are things harder than a Nomanian bear's bone," Seline said cutting a piece of the meat before holding it over the campfire. If Jack or Delano were ever going to say something Sir Irwin cut them off by managing to pull one of the bones out, "But these will last for a good while . . ."

Sammie and Susie stopped jumping around long enough to have their minds remember what had happened; after which their expressions changed. Susie looked the calmest of them all, "We were at home . . ."

 

"Some people said that players at the Tournament vanished without a trace. The very next day though . . ."

 

"The skies around our house went black," Susie finished what her brother was saying. Josh looked back to Deana and they were most likely thinking of the same thing. They had vanished during the tournament, but it seemed as if that wasn't the end of it. But Sammie and Susie vanished the very next day; apparently the strange events weren't just limited to what Jake's Uncle had caused.

The group had crashed, Evelyn recalled that much. Though what all went on to cause Iceis to fall or what happened when or after she did was a blur. Evenly thought she remembered some kind of shock but other than that it was all to fast to recall. She'd just barely regained consciousness and her head was pounding, and she had no idea what was causing that. Next to her she felt Flamme, who had also called out to her. Then Eithal's voice could be heard. Evelyn then tried her best to sit up.

"You're finally up. Are you okay?" Flamme said. Concern was clear in his voice, she must have been out for a bit, or at least Flamme had woken up before her and had begun to worry himself sick.

"I think so. My head hurts really bad though." Evelyn said. She still had no idea what was causing that.

"Just stay put, Eithal's just about here. He'll help you out." Flamme responded. Evelyn nodded her head, mostly because she didn't feel like getting up and moving at the moment.

After Delano finished gettint the bone pieces he needed he cleaned off the blood from the bones than pulled out some tools to make his lance. "All right time to work on my bone lance" Delano said as he took out one of the fangs from the back of the bears skull for the tip of his lance. He thank set the pieces into a assembly line to were they would be put. Delano started to piece together his lance shaving or dulling parts that needed it. Delano had excepted the building process to take sometime to finish

Eithal leapt and ran over to Evelyn before grabbing her in a giant hug, "Woman child Eithal was so worried about you after big shock knocked us out!!!"

 

Looking around Evelyn could see that she was completely surrounded by water and was sitting on a little bit of land. The sound of a splash caught her attention as she turned her head towards the noise and could see Crystal and Yaming paddeling towards her, "There you are!!!"

 

"Well that makes everyone," Yaming stated standing up in the boat, making it rock ever so slightly, she then held her hand out for Evelyn, "Come on in, Flamme can fly Eithal back to the town . . ."

Seline watched on as Delano attempted his best to craft a new lance to replace the one he had broken in combat. Though after a while seeing him do nothing more than widdle away at a single piece of the bone she began to realize it was going to take a lot longer than either of them thought. Scooting up beside him she looked at him, "Want me to help?"

Well, this changes everything. Daena thought to herself. Next we're going to find someone in this world who didn't even play the game. She grabbed hold of her housing unit, which still hung off her belt. Looks like I really might need to dig into this device to find more clues...

 

Still, no matter how bleak things seemed right now, Daena was thankful for the kids for the additional information. Whether or not Jake's uncle was the catalyst of the disappearances or if players were being sent here regardless of his intervention was irrelevant at this point. At the very least, Earth and this world was tied closer together than she originally thought. The fact that these kids were now going hungry was a surprise as well; either she was out of it for longer than she thought, or people could appear here at any time, given the fact that they haven't even been here for two days.

 

"....huh, I see," was all that Daena managed to say that after digesting the information she received. As the storm continued outside, Daena struggled to find something to say. It was then Irenia landed on Daena's leg, and spoke up.

 

"So, what are you guys gonna do now?" the fairy asked. "I mean, you can't just keep trying to steal people's food! That's rude!" It was clear that Irenia still was a little bitter about having to give their leftover food to them. She then felt Daena's stare from above her, and quickly continued speaking. "W-well, what's your plan? Maybe... we can... help... in some way..."

Evelyn took Yaming's outstretched hands, somehow managing to stand and get into the boat. Though due to the pounding in her head she had been a bit unstable and made the boat shake a little more than one might be comfortable with. Evelyn looked where she had landed and counted herself incredibly fortunate for landing there and not in the water or she would have no doubt drowned while she was unconscious. Flamme got into the air and sort of hovered overhead and everyone knew he'd only go back as they did. Evelyn began rubbing her forehead as she sat just wishing it would stop for a moment so she could focus.

"So, can anyone explain what all happened there?" Evelyn managed to say. She wasn't sure how well she'd be able to listen but she wanted the information regardless. She could have tried to ask Flamme but he would have been so concerned with her he wouldn't have been able to tell her anything useful.

"And one other thing. I thought I heard someone calling out for Matsue too. Is she okay?" Evelyn said. She could feel the pain in her head slowly lessening but it wasn't fast enough for her tastes.

Eli and Susie's partner, who was called Harriet of all things, explained that they hadn't thought of any plan besides just trying to get to the next meal. Sammie then let out a sniffly as he tried to stop himself from crying and his sister went to comfort the boy. It was easy to see that neither of them knew what was going on and were probably scared out of their wits.

 

"W-Well . . ." Josh started giving Deana a glance, "What about coming with us? If it's alright with you of course, Deana?"

"We got hit by lightning," Crystal said rubbing the back of her head, "Or more specifically Iceis was struck by lightning and we got some of the shock."

 

"After that we were tossed about in the air by the force of the winds. We ended up scattering across the lake for a good couple feet, but a few of use got seperated farther than we'd of liked- like you," Yaming finished. EVen though she didn't say it Evelyn could tell that Matsue was counted as one of the ones thrown farther into the lake. Not to mention that knowing Matsue couldn't stand water made her realize even better how worried they were.

 

"But man child and big lizard are bright as rain!" Eithal called from above them as he swung happily back and forth despite Flamme's protests.

 

"Iceis luckily made enough of the lake freeze that people from Afon spot us"

"Sure," Daena said. "I wouldn't mind at all." In the back of her mind she thought about how the two young tamers and their partners will be able to get on the train to the capital. Even so, she could not leave things as they were, and having them join their group would be the best solution for now. She would just have to figure out the answer to the train problem during the trip.

 

"Of course... we are still stuck here," Daena added as lightning struck outside. While it didn't seem to bother Irenia, Daena counted her blessings every time lightning flashed in the distance. "Well, we can't just sit here, can we," Daena said, suddenly standing up, forcing Irenia to use her wings so she wouldn't crash on the floor. Daena, meanwhile, began looking around the room, as if she lost something. "Since this place is abandoned... did you guys find anything here that might be useful for our travels?" she asked the children and their partners.

Jack made a rather pathetic attempt to craft his axe from the beast's femur bone. For the first time in his life he actually looked humorous as he actually gnawed at the bone when whacking at it with his axe failed. Bane chuckled lightly trying not to pop his jaw back out. "Rgghh mnng...DAMMIT!!!" Jack screamed as he uselessly began whacking the bone with a stick. "What the hell is WRONG with this beast?" He sighed and asked Sir Irwin for some help cutting the bone. "Ermm...please?" He asked holding the bone up to Sir Irwin

Susie stood up and walked towards the cloest and opened it up, revealing that everything that had been missing in the house had been stashed there. Yet despite it being everything in the house there was still very little to go on, in fact it had affirmed in Josh's mind that the house had been abondoned a while ago; even if the food was still useable.

 

"Well once the storm passes you'll come with us," he said after getting the ok from Deana, "But we'll have to find a way to get you guys on the train. We have our passes."

 

"I-Its alright," Harriet said digging in her pockets, before pulling out a bit of copper coins, "We managed to scrounge up some money . . ."

Sir Irwin kind of chuckled to himself as Jack begrudgingly handed over the bear's femur to him once he had tried to get it into the shape of an axe. Taking it into his hand Sir Irwin eyes every inch of it before setting it on the ground, "First off it's to big to be a functional axe."

 

Raising a stone with his hands he slammed the pointed end down on the fermur and once he raised it the bone had been cracked a little, "We'll have to carefully break it down into something smaller and then sharpen it . . ."

While Jack and Irwin plaued around with his axe Delano had just finished the attaching the hilt and the back of the lance. The skull of the bear had be opened wide and placed there to proide protection for Delano's hand. Delano than inserted the foreleg of the bear into the back of the skull which is now the base of the lance. after setting Delano than filed out a hole to insert the Fang he took out eariler for the tip "Hey Irwin can you use magic to make this stay together" Delano asked as he looked at the pieces in the spots they needed to be in just attached together

"W-well... that's good."

 

Daena glanced into the closet one last time, then nervously looked around the room. Sighing, she finally sat down on the floor, with Irenia looking at her strangely. The fairy floated down near Daena, and scratched her head.

 

"Are you OK?"

 

"Yeah... I'm fine" Daena replied. She needed something to calm her down, something to focus on besides the storm outside. Her hand once again landed on her housing unit, and seeing that there wasn't much else to do, she placed the unit in front of her.

 

"What are you doing with that?" Irenia asked, acting a little wary.

 

"I have a feeling that these units have something to do with our situation. And I'm going to find out."

[Andx]

"You said with me that that made everyone. So you've already got Matsue back then? That's good." Evelyn thought. Then Eithal said Rift and Iceis were both quite alright. That made little to no sense to Evelyn. If the fact that they were hit by lightning, or rather got a bit of what hit Iceis, was true, it would have made sense for Iceis to be in pretty bad shape.

"If Iceis took the brunt of the lightning, how is she okay? Or are dragons just that resilient? Anyway, you said a town noticed us? I guess that explains the boat then. Let me try to get a grasp of how much time has passed here since we fell. I know the storm seems to have passed but that doesn't say much. So, how long have you all been looking for me? And one other thing. Nothing seems off about my head does it? Because it's been pounding since I woke up. I just wanted to see if nothing's obviously injured or if it's just I experienced my first concussion and my head will be fine in a bit." Evelyn asked. She had been wondering how long she'd been out and if she was injured in some way she couldn't see so she had asked.

Sammie and Susie crawled over to Deana as she began to fiddle with her Tamers System. Pushing and looking at the systems they were wondering what she was going to do with it. They had both, in fact most of the Tamers in this world, had messed with their Housing System to see what could be done; however only the Item System seemed to be working.

 

"Deana do you think that's a good idea?" Josh asked squatting down beside her.

 

"Shhhhh!" the twins tried to hush Josh while they tried to watch.

Sir Irwin shook his head before glancing back at Delano, "My magic can only keep it bound for so long. You'll have to find something else to bind it with."

 

After he finished saying that Sir Irwin went back to shaving teh edges of teh bone axde with a large stone to get the edge razor sharp. Seline tapped Delano on the shoulder and pointed to some of the thrown away bear's fur, "You could use this."

Both Yaming and Crystal couldn't help but laugh a bit at how many questions Evelyn asked them; though it should be expected at how long she must've been out. But first things first! By the time they had docked Evelyn learned all of her questions. Matsue had been the first one found, but she was freaking out because of being stuck in a city floating in the water.
