"T-They ar . . ." Matsue began to say but couldn't help start to cry as the memories of days past clogged her mind. She remembered her mother trying to make sure she never revealed what she was. After that her memories faded to their little sea side buisness starting to loose money along with the rest of the town because of pirate raids and how, even though she could possibly stop the raids, she was too scared of what might happen. Holding herself to Rifts shirt, tears streaming down her cheeks, she continued to cry as he stroked her hair and looked at Evelyn, "I know you meant no harm but please dont mention others accepting that fact. Matsue's gone through a lot already."

Turning his attention back to her he continued to calm her as Eithal scooted beside the three curious girls and caught their attention. once they all had leaned in he whispered to them, "Girl child lost mamma to raid and then lost freedom to same evil man childs."

Crystal could feel her stomach twisting into knotts as the words ran through her mind. Though Eithal could be difficult to understand it was pretty clear at that moment. Matsue's mother was killed by the pirates and then . . . she was taken pirsioner by them.

While Jak and Bane walked towards the house in New Orleans France he was unaware that many of his other players had somehow been transported into another reality. But then again if he DID know it probably wouldn't have bothered him that much anyways. All he cared about was himself . . . and possibly Bane, to some degree. Stepping up to the front door he was ready to resume the act he that he had mastered after so many tries, something that almost guarenteed his entry into the house and a good 'meal' for his partner. Knocking on the door the sound of shuffeling feet headed towards the door and it opened to show a little old lady, "Y-Yes? Ho can I help you?"

Evelyn hadn't meant to hurt Matsue's feelings but it seemed even discussing it was too painful to bare. Matsue began crying and sought comfort, which Rift helped to provide. Evelyn felt really bad. It had an affect on her. She didn't like hurting people. For awhile Evelyn had been out going and excited mostly due to her time in the Tamers world. She hadn't shown her quiet side much. However the idea that she'd hurt Matsue's feelings, along with what all had been going on, seemed to have finally put her excitement to rest for a bit. All at once she got quiet and seemed to clam up as if retreating into herself. There was no real physical motion to suggest this though her body language now seemed to reflect it. She quickly stood up and bowed to Matsue to give an apology.

"I'm so sorry." she said quickly and quietly to Matsue. She then began walking off. Flamme was worried, as he'd only ever seen the quiet Evelyn a few times, and followed after her. Evelyn put a bit of distance in between herself and the group, and with the scenery and landscape as it was, she couldn't see them at the moment. She began thinking about Matsue and then about herself and everything that had been happening to her.

"For a game this isn't all that fun anymore." Evelyn thought. Evelyn could hear Flamme following behind and wasn't all that surprised he'd followed her.

"Is something wrong Evelyn?" Flamme asked as he caught up to her. "Not really." Evelyn responded out loud. Flamme didn't like the short response and he could see a look in Evelyn's eyes that worried him. She seemed to be staring off in the distance and yet not really focused on anything at all.

"I know something's wrong with you. You should talk about it." Flamme said. "I didn't mean to hurt Matsue. I brought up bad memories in her. She won't want to see me for awhile and if I stayed nearby I'll only feel even more awkward." Evelyn said.

"Is that all there is to it?" Flamme questioned. "No, don't worry about me. I'll be fine in a moment." Evelyn said, a lack of any emotion present in her voice. With that the conversation stopped and Evelyn just continued thinking. Flamme couldn't tell if she was depressed. It didn't seem or sound like it but the sudden quiet and decreased amount of talking in Evelyn was enough to worry Flamme.

"Yes i know just give me my lance back" Delano said than on his own two feet than back onto Kikiania "I am traveling with ya'll didn't ya'll hear before the i ride Kikiania wherever i go" Delano said still requesting his lance back "Seriously i just want my lance than show me were the request board is. There maybe someone who needs help." Delano said still asking for his lance back as he sat on Kikiania's back and she hissed at Irwin telling him to give Delano his weapon back to him

Jack answered ever so politley to the old woman. "Yes you see my dog is very sick and i need to call a veteranarian...could i come in and use your phone?" He asked with a smile on his face as he masterfully hid the axe behind himself. Bane on the other hand was lost in thought as he put up his sick dog act. (Where are...other tamers...i can't sense them anywhere we've been so far...NOT ONE!...could they have returned to...IMPOSSIBLE! They're SOMEWHERE in this damned country and we WILL find them!!) Bane thought to himself as he and Jack went into the house and Jack appraised the area. Bane lied down next to Jack as their act dictated. Jack however was far from thoughts of the Tamers. His mind was on the kill presently. Every nerve ending was afire with anticipation of one of life's most surreal and ecstatic pleasures...an act he had rehearsed time and time again until it satisfied him completley it was his life, his drug, his release and his calling...the act of murder...

"If you're to train under me then you'll be listening to me," Sir Irwin said bluntly and stepped beside Kiki despite her hissing and knocked Delano off with his own lance; he then returned it to its pencil sized form. Seline walked over to Delano as he hadn't gotten up yet and looked down at him, "Yo might want to pay attention. Sir Irwin is actually nicer if you are."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So you're looking for a vet, eh?" the old lady said waddeling over to the phone book and flipping through the pages. As she continued to look Bane laid down, his thoughts on the other Tamers, while his master could only think of the coming murder he would be commiting. As she flipped through the pages he went for his axe, "Do you have the money to pay? Oh well I guess I can also offer that much to you young man . . ."
"I wouldn't worry about Matsue if I were you," Yaming said walking towards Evelyn and Flamme, a limb obvious in her stride. She was breathing a bit heavy and her hands were to her side as she rested againt a tree facing Evelyn. She gave a warm smile that contradicted the pain she was most likely in and pushed some hair out of her eyes, "I know you aren't from this world but is it really so perfect that no one gets hurt?"
"Ah well . . . she doesn't blame you anyways," she continued when Evelyn never answered. It was actually the truth since Matsue was only worried about the memories of loosing her mother and being trapped in a strange place surrounded by her fears, since she was part fire spirit that'd be water, and never imagined that Evelyn had said that to be mean. As Yaming waited for Evelyn to snap out of her mood she let her legs spread out so she could sit down; her sides were still killing her.
*several horrifying lines of detail later*
Jack walked away from the house VERY satisfied with himself as the axe dripped blood and he had a gleeful smile on his face. Bane's jaws were dripping with blood and some remains. Jack turned to bane with an inquisitive look about him and asked. "Partner...you seem like you're holding something back." Bane swallowed the last of his meal and spoke to Jack. "Master...i belive the Tamers are not on this planet nor are they within the confines of this reality. I belive they may have gone back to my world...the world of monsters." Bane spoke with equal parts conviction and uncertainty in his voice. Jack nodded "Well it's worth looking into...and even IF we dont find the tamers there are all KINDS of monsters to kill am i correct Bane?" Bane nodded "But the question is how exactly do we go about getting to your world?" Jack asked with anticipation
Yaming came to talk with Evelyn and though she made very valid points, Evelyn wasn't really listening to anyone at the moment. Not that she hadn't heard Yaming, it was more like she'd just sort of saved the info for later. In a few seconds what Yaming said finally seemed to clicked and Evelyn snapped out of her weird fixation over hurting Matsue's emotions, but not out of her quiet self. She was even surprised that she hadn't gotten quiet yet to this point. She wasn't the bright excited person she found herself to have been the past few days all day every day to be sure. In fact it generally only ever came out when she was playing Tamers or talking about something else she liked. How she'd managed to stay excited this whole time was beyond her.
"My world is worse because no one cares if someone gets hurt." Evelyn said in response to one of Yaming's comments. She then took a seat herself.
"Even if she doesn't blame me, or if I didn't hurt her myself, she'll want a bit of space. I would." Evelyn said. Every time she spoke it seemed she was coming out for a few seconds to say what she had to say and then retreating back into herself. Flamme wasn't quite as worried about Evelyn anymore as she seemed to stop being depressed and was more just withdrawn. He expected her usual enthusiasm was just exhausted from recent events and needed a good night of sleep to be renewed.
"I think more than this event with Matsue is bugging me. Though whatever else could be I'm not sure I can say." She said. It seemed she was just voicing a few thoughts every once and awhile.
"Ugh" Delano said than got up again "just give me my weapon" he said has rubbed the back of his head. "And so you know i've never been the type to listen to others i normally do my own thing. Which is why i am not in the military because i go at my own past whether it faster or slower than others" Delano continued on than got back onto Kikiania again. "And if you wouldn't mind stop knocking me off Kikiania" Delano said than thought seriously this is gonna be a pain. is it so hard just to give a guy is lance back.
Daena continued to gloss through the pages, but found nothing useful. "I wish I paid attention to the storyline," she muttered to herself, appreciating the irony of wanting to escape to a game world, yet not paying attention to the game's *world*. At least I could connect with some details written here easier, though if only I can connect what happened back then with what's going on now... Daena thought. I wonder if this kind of stuff happened before? She tried to remember if anything strange happened during Tamers gameplay while in the real world, but she was drawing blanks. Of course... even if she didn't know, maybe the people here know.
"Hmm, let's look at this from another angle," Daena said. "Any of the books here have information about someone appearing out of the blue? Someone who knows little about this world?"
Once Deana brought that up Adrianb looked up as if she had said something that'd cracked the case. Setting the book down he began to dig through the massive piles of books until he found what he was looking for. Placing it back down he opened the book until it read 'Renais/Reiv War' and showed it to everyone else, "I think this might be of use."
"A book about a war?" Josh asked looking at the book and then up at Adrian with a bit of confusion, "What is that got to do with anything we're going through now?"
"Because during the war there was supposed to be a man who had appeared to stop the war," Adrian said scanning over the pages, "But he was never identified or seen again . . ."
"Well stop talkin' and get into the boat," Sammul said hauling Garth into the small ship. Once he was in he ghave the word and everyone was off. Heading through the lake Garth and Nix could see more people in boats hauling up the largest fish he had ever seen. Spotting a small town that appeared to be floating on water.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Just talk to her," Yaming said still holding her sides as she listened to Evelyn talk about her world and how it was different, "And it seems ours aren't too different."

"They aren't" Matsue said walking in on the two as she startled Yaming. She gave her a warm smile before sitting down amongst the group.

Sir Irwin finally got tired of playing games with this kid and once again knocked him off. But before he got up he had tossed him the miniature lance, which grew to full size in his lap. Crossing his arms he looked down at Delano, "Apparently you don't know the relation of master and student. You listen to me, understand?"

"Please just listen to him," Seline said stooping down to whisper in Delano's ear.

While Jack and Bane walked away from the house, finished with the job they had done, they brought up the conversation of where the other Tamers are. A sudden burst from the door behind them caused both to turn around as long tentacles of hair lashed out at both of them, wrapping around their wrists and then covering their torsos. Dragging them back in Jack and Bane could ehar the cackles of the woman they had just did away with, "You wish to find your fellow Tamers!? Then go to them!!!"

The door frame glowed with a sudden brilliant light as Jack and Bane continued to be pulled towards them. Finally hitting the light everything around them grew dark- they were now being pulled into a world far beyond their imagination, along with the other Tamers.

"I think I've already done enough talking for one day." Evelyn said. Then Matsue came and sat down. She didn't seem to be sad anymore but Evelyn was wondering what she was doing here. Then again, it was most likely an attempt to make her feel better. And as far as Evelyn could tell, she wasn't the one who needed it at the moment, if anyone Matsue did.

"I'm sorry if I hurt you by making you remember things Matsue. With your group rescuing us to this I haven't been much but trouble to you and Rift. It must seem like I'm depressed, but I'm not. Today just reminded me why don't usually talk much. You don't have to worry about me if that's why you came. This is the normal me. It's only when I came to a representation of this world in my own that I ever came out of my shell and got excited about things." Evelyn said. The lack of energy made it sound like she really didn't mean most of what she's said when in fact she did. The simple fact that Evelyn's usually dominant traits hadn't been shown at all as of yet made it seem as if something was wrong with her to anyone who hadn't known her in the real world.

"You haven't been too much trouble at all," Matsue said giving Evelyn another warm smile. It was true she had remembered some horrible things about her past but then again she would do at random times for no reason. Moving beside her she gave a playful nudge, "Well its part of my past so I have to get over it anyways. Also you don't have to be quite around us."

"That's right," Yaming added in, "After all we like it when you talk. Its not like either of us can understand Eithal."

At the joke about the hobgoblin all three girls began to laugh and then stopped once they heard Rift calling to themn for dinner.

"Ya got that right i don't know the relation of student and master stuff because i never gone through it nor cared" Delano said inspecting his lance than started to polish it "If you are going to hold on to others peoples stuff you can at least take some form of care for the item" Delano said than after he finished polishing it he sharpened it "There we go back to the way its suppose to be" Delano said after finishing sharpening his lance than put it away on his back. "I'll listen when i feel like it" Delano said than petted Kikiania "If you didn't already know i am what some people call a hard headed fool."

"Didn't expect something to come this easily," Daena said, laughing to herself. Irenia smiled as well; she was bored, being too small to actually help out with much of anything, and this new tidbit may allow the search to become more of a proactive one. The fairy landed on the desk by the table as Daena bended over to get a closer look herself.

"Well... what did this guy do to end the war?" Daena asked. She probably could read it to find out, but she figured Adrian may add a little of his own insight. Still, she did scan the words for useful information. "And he just vanished?" A strange look of bewilderment appeared on Daena's face, like she raised one eyebrow but really didn't want to while in the middle of chewing invisible food. "Huh?"

Jack brushed himself off and Bane shook his muzzle. "Well partner i must say that was rather...odd...but if what the old witch said was true...we're sure to find other tamers here." He said growing a sinister smile just as his wristwatch began to beep. "Oh look...it's tea time already...now i really MUST find a party." He said in a now rather dignified voice and his british accent replacing his borderline manic tone of voice. Bane nodded in agreement and then his ears picked up two individuals speaking to one another. Bane pointed to the direction of the voiced and he and Jack decided that would be the location of their first afternoon tea in the Tamer Realm. Jack approached the location of Evelyn, Matsue, Rift and the others. While doing this he produced a small box that he always kept on him. A box of delicious tea cakes. "Now i do wonder what kind of tea they serve in this realm." Jack said with a genuine smile on his face and Bane simply prepared to enjoy one of the calmer moments with his master. Jack approached them and called out. "Hello? Room for one more for afternoon tea?" He asked

Evelyn did laugh a little at the joke made about Eithal and started to relax a little. Matsue didn't seem nearly as troubled about it as she had moments ago. Still, Evelyn didn't like that she'd made another person cry. Realizing that her personality one eighty was going to make the group worry about her, she tried to get herself excited again, though she couldn't just do that on command. They heard the call from Rift for dinner and all three got up to go back over.

"It's weird to see you like this you know. Do try to get some of your usual enthusiasm back." Flamme said as they began walking.

"My usual enthusiasm is exactly what's unusual about me. Weren't you listening?" Evelyn said back to him.

"I was, but I don't believe it. It's just you're letting what you think you did to Matsue get you down. You're the only one being troubled by what you did anymore. Just forget about it and move on. And if this is really the usual you I'll just have to find some way to make both sides of you come together." Flamme told her. She smiled a bit as they continued on. As Evelyn hadn't gone far to get away it didn't take long at all to get back to the rest of the group. Evelyn just realized something as she looked out at the lake again.

"You know Flamme, this would be a really good place to practice my strongest spell. It needs a lot of water to work." Evelyn said to her partner.

"Yeah but that spell could kill everyone here if it succeeded and hurt you if it failed. Not a smart idea." Flamme responded.

"I know that!" Evelyn told him, a little angry. "I was just making a point is all. I'll have to master that spell some time." she said to him. Flamme looked happy because he'd gotten Evelyn to stop being so introverted for a bit. Evelyn then looked in to see what dinner was going to be. As far as Evelyn had seen Rift and Eithal hadn't brought any animals in when they went off for wood and Iceis had stayed put most of the time. So it was likely something from someone's pack.

"The Renais/Reiv War looked like it was going to continue forever until he came in," Adrian said pointing towards an old picture of the warring era map, "It never really says what he did, but he did end the war before vanishing."

"So what? Are we supposed to find the guy?" Josh ased scratching the back of his head. He knew that this guy might mean that other Tamers might have came into this world before, but how it was going to help them get back home seemed out of his reach. Adrian closed the book and nodded his head to Josh, "That's the only lead my family has. So you'll have to go to the capital and search the Countries Records."

Once Delano finished speaking Sir Irwin laid him on the ground agian, leaving a lot of bruises this time, and walked away, "Then we will have to fix you of that."

Heading into the crowd he called over his shoulder to Seline to keep an eye on the boy until he got back; something she honestly wasn't wanting to do, she was even becoming a bit annoyed with his stand offish personality. It was as if he could not take a hint that being a bit nicer would get him a lot farther. But she had a jobto do and was planning on doing it. Squatting beside him she looked at him, "So you going to just lay there or are you going to get up?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once Evelyn looked around she was startled when Matsue yelled 'catch' to her while throwing her something to eat. Catching it in her hands the first sensation was something very hot in her hands. Tossing it up Eithal caught what looked like a very large piece of fish on a stick; which is, in fact, what it was. Handing it back over to Evelyn Matsue tossed a piece to Flamme; she mentioned that if he did not like his food raw he could have a cooked piece. Sitting down Rift rubbed his hand over Iceis' side until Crystal spoke, "So . . . dumb question . . . where did the fish come from?"
"The lak-" he began until someone walked up on them with what appeared to be a sickly dog, though in this world Rift had learned that appearances were always decieving; the man had asked if there was one more for tea. Rift and Iceis were already ready to strike him down if need be, which if their first impressions proved correct, they would be. Pointing his sword at them Rift scowled and spoke, "Who are you and where did you come from?!"
Whoah...easy there love. Name's Jack Kasunagi at your service." He said with a stressed smile and just as Bane was about to leap and attack Rift Jack gave a command to back down. "Bane...these people are our hosts...and you know as well as i do this isnt the most akward situation we've found ourselves in for tea." Jack said as the stress left his voice. "As for where i came from now i'm from London. My associate and i very recently found ourselves in this world and we were looking for someone to have afternoon tea with....i brought cakes." He said holding up the cake box. "So if you would be so curteous as to lower your weapon i would be most appreciative." Jack said with the utmost sencerity in his tone.
Bane on the other hand was decidedly uneasy. He knew if this came to a fight that he and Jack would stand no chance against what he could sense as at least two maybe three tamers and partners. Jack was a powerful and deadly fighter...but in a three on one there was no chance of victory here. Bane could only hope there wouldnt be a fight. He hated when the odds were stacked against him
"I guess it couldn't have been that easy," Daena said, laughing She looked at the wartime map, and resolved to read more about it later; returning home came first. She nodded to Irenia, who flew up and landed on Daena's shoulder. "Well, we know where we need to go, but we have no idea how to get there," Daena said, sighing.
"But he knows, right? I'm sure he can take us there!" Irenia said, pointing to Adrian. The fact that she actually spoke up surprised Daena, especially given the subject matter.
"I know that!" Daena replied to Irenia. "I was just going to ask for a map, so I don't trouble him further!" Daena paused for a moment, then turned to Adrian with a smile forming on her face. "Of course... If you actually want to be our guide out there, who am I to refuse?"
Adrian looked away for a moment and then addressed Deana, "I know I offered you our assistance . . . but I personally have not travelled farther than Amadahy. Though! Though I can make your trip easier."
"Easier how? Going to have big ol' Jericho follow us around? Thanks but I'll pass," Josh said sarcastically, though in all honesty he didn't like the butler or whatever Jericho was. Looking down at the map Josh wondered how much of the landscape and areas could have changed since then, assuming that it was a lot, and knew this type of map wouldn't be of much use. He was about to ask for another more up to date map when he saw Adrain already presenting it to Deana. Placing it in her hands he cupped his around hers, "This is a map of Nomen. All you have to do is continued south until you reach Lake Muna, follow it until you reach Amadahy. There you'll get on the train and remain there until it reaches the Capital."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Neither Rift nor Iceis calmed themselves, though the man seemed to be telling the truth. More than once had they let down their guard to seemingly good hearted people and payed the price; though the fact he had come from London made him realize he was from their world. As the tension rose Crystal, being naturally kind hearted, asked Rift why he couldn't just let him join in.

"Because he's a killer," Matsue said in a monotone voice as she scowled at Jack. This accusation stunned everyone but Rift and Iceis; they had already known of course. Before anyone had time to ask, or challenge the accusation, Matsue explained, "His axe is stained with a person's blood. He might say it was from an animal . . . but I've been around murderous pirates long enough to know the difference!"

"This is perfect... Thank you!" Daena replied, excited to now have a solid lead. Irenia was a little disappointed that Adrian would not be joining them, and expressed it by pouting at him. Daena was more understanding, for as she would remind her fairy partner later, Adrian was still a child. Even then, it was a stroke of luck that he took interest in the group, and Daena planned to show the boy and his family her world once she got a stable link going.

...A stable link? Daena surprised herself that she was already thinking about setting such a thing up. Of course, she would probably need *that guy's* help, but it shouldn't be impossible. More research would be in order, and the fact that she was leaving a library after only a little research saddened her, but she was not about to ask to take any more than she did already. Now that she thought about it, there was still one more thing she wanted to ask for...

"I'd like to leave immediately, but it's been a long day. I'm sorry to ask, but would you or your parents object with us staying the night?" Daena asked sheepishly, still embarrassed that she was asking all these things from Adrian's family and not doing noting in return.

"Oh of course not!" Adrian nearly yelled once Deana had asked. The truth was Adrian had been, however secretly, been worried that the second he'd helped Deana and the other guy they'd leave. So he was happy that Deana would be staying with him for at least one night; obvious to say he didn't care much about weither Josh and Ave stayed or not. Taking Deana's hand he gave a smile, "Then would you like me to show you to your room?"

"Hey what about me!?" Josh asked tapping his foot in time to stop Adrian from running off with Deana and Irenia. He was getting annoyed again with being left on the side of the road like an unwanted house pet, so even if he had to act a bit brutish to get Adrian's attention then so be it. Adrian merely glanced back and then raced off with Deana before calling back down the halls, "I'll come get you once I've set Deana up in her room!"

"Oh you've got to be kidding me!!!"

Jack dropped the axe to the ground and explained smoothly. "Surley you realize the concept of self defense. Another tamer attacked me a while ago and me and Bane were hard pressed to defend ourselves." Jack lied flawlessly. "Surely you can realize that there ARE dangerous people in this world that will not hesitate to kill you. I simply acted in self-defense..." Jack said putting his hands up to show he was no threat. Of course his mimic ability had already analyzed Rift's style and he was prepared to dodge if neccesary. Bane walked over to his master's side and took a defensive stance twords Rift before Jack again told him to stand down. "Don't worry Bane...we have nothing to hide from these people so why be so defenseive?" Jack said to Bane as a statement more than as a question.
