"Then I wont pressure you," Lilith said and took out some more food from her basket, she obviously had expected to have a nice breakfeast, and continued to pass it out. Chewing on a bit of bread and cheese Axel would sit next to Trago and pet him like any normal child would while Lilith and Sven continued to talk. Taking a sip of her drinksahe set it down and then looked at Sven, "So . . . where exactly are you from? I've never seen clothing like yours."

Delano was none the less pretty upset about not being able to kill anything, having only stumbled on a train. Following it all the way to the town Delanoand Kiki couldn't help but notice that it looked like a old fashioned fair was going on, that and that there were almost as many monsters are there were people. Looking for a shop he wondered if he could get a job that had to do with killing something.

"Well," Crystal started, brushing back her hair, "While I was working in the tavern I learned quite a bit about the country we're actually in- Nomen. Well come to find out that most of the population are mages!"

The revelation brought Flamme's situation into a new light. So they had to only find another mage who could help Flamme change back to his original size. Crystal smiled as Evelyn knew that they could get her partner to normal size and then she coughed to get their attention, "But the problem is . . . we need to find one. I know that Roaxs is knwon for the academy, but where the best mages are I don't know."

"Hmm.. lots of tamers around here as well. May have to fight for jobs or not who knows. Anyways lets head towards the store where ever it is" Delano said to Kikiania as she continued walking looking for a store to restock. Delano looked at all the people and monsters watching for any type of aggression that may lead him to a fight. "hmmm.. people here sure look interesting." Delano said to himself

Evelyn couldn't believe it had taken Crystal telling her to figure out where they were. They were in Nomen. Now that Evelyn thought about it, it made a lot of sense. Where else could one expect to find a school for mages? Nomen would be about the only place. So of course there would be mages all around. But Crystal also brought up the good point that they had little idea on how to go about finding a mage good enough to undo Sewati's spell on Flamme. At least from what little she could understand, it had been quite difficult. Sewati seemed drained after it and it even excited his transformation. Evelyn doubted any old student could handle it. It would require a knowledgeable and skilled mage to undo.

"Well, we could just ask around but that would be the hardest way to go about it. There's a chance Yaming might know but we'd have to wait for her to recover. If we don't want to wait for that I suppose we could ask around the academy, someone there is sure to know." Evelyn said.

"I agree, but we can't forget to visit Yaming while she is recovering," Crystal said sitting back down, drained and sleepy from the nights events. Lifting her head back up she could feel her eyes getting heavy and the thought of actually getting some sleep sounded good to her. Yawning Crystal stood up once more and stretched, "But do you think it'd be too much to ask for a couple hours rest?"

Delano continued to wander, since he didn't know a thing about where he was, around the city looking for any sign of a shop. Spotting a couple along the way he would go into them, only noticing that they were not for food, and then leave them behind. He needed food and water most of all, but he couldn't even find a simple shop for weapons in the freaking place! Glancing around he could see children and old men amusing themselves, but nothing caught his personal interest until the shound of men shouting could be heard.

Heading towards the sound Delano and Kiki broke through the massive crowd of men to see two men, in classic wizard robes, standing a couple feet from each other. Raising a wand to his face the man on the right, having blond hair, pointed it down and a snake appeared out of no where as it flew through the air. His opponent, a guy sporting bright orange hair, waved his wand confidently and made the snake heading towards him transform into cane which he grabbed and slammed onthe ground. Applause rang out as the orange haired man then spun the cane and turned it into a chain, wrapping his opponent up.

"Ugh what is wrong with this place and not having food in stores" Delano said looking around frustated than he heard men shouting. Kikiania walked throught the crowd and Delano saw the wizards do their little magic trick "Just some Side Show Wizards i guess. Kikiania let see if we can ask someone around here where to get supplies and maybe if their is a job board or something" Delano said to Kikiania . Kikiania got out of the crowd of people so Delano could find someone whose attention was not on the wizards. "ANYONE HERE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET FOOD, WATER, AND WHERE THE JOB BOARD MAYBE AROUND HERE!!!" Delano shouted outloud so everyone could hear.

After hearing the word rest Evelyn sat down and nearly passed out on the spot. She was a lot more tired than she thought she had been. Then again, the fatigue hadn't had much time to catch up with her until now that she had nothing to run away from.

"I forget we've been up all night what with everything that went on." Evelyn said letting out a yawn at the end.

"Yeah, let's definitely get some sleep before we do anything else." she said, again yawning.

"Our first exciting night where we actually did something and you want to sleep?" Flamme said to his partner. Under normal circumstances nights were boring for him since Evelyn wouldn't be playing the game.

"Oh be quiet Flamme. You're tired too you know." Evelyn said back to him. Flamme didn't argue the point.

"Well, we should go see where we can get a bit of rest, unless we pass out trying to get out of this room." Evelyn said.

Delano yelled out about food and water, only to be shoved back by some of the men; weither it was intentional or by mistake one could only wonder. They continued to yell and jest with each other as the match continued, Delano and his partner being completely ignored. He was even ready to have Kiki start shoving people over and work his way into the middle, just to be heard, but was stopped when someone from behind pulled him away.

Looking behind him he could see a woman, probably late thirties, pulling him by his shoulder. She had a cloth tied around her red hair, to keep it up out of her eyes, and could easily be mistaken for someone you might see at a local dinner. Now a fair distance away the woman let go, crossed her arms, and looked at Delano, "What do you think you're doing trying to get into something like that young man?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Yeah, can't pass you here," Crystal agreed through her yawning. Lifting her tired and heavy body away from the wall where she had been resting both girls headed out of the hut and towards the bussiling of the town. A few people scurried past them, but more still would stop and say hello and ask if they were doing alright. When they explained they were tired, no one had to guess why, one of the men from the other night introduced them to his wife and stated they could sleep at their house. The woman was a little on the 'plump' side with dark brown hair and eyes to match, but the way she smiled made both of them warm up quickly to her.
having followed her all the way to her house, through the kitchen, and up the stairs to an empty bedroom. Picking up some of the covers from the floor she placed them on the bed gently and gave it a pat, "We only have one vacant bed . . . uh now . . . so I hope you two don't mind sharing . . ."
"I don't think it'll be a problem," Crystal replied with a yawn, nudging Evelyn with a grin on her face.
"Trying to get directions around this town, but these baboons are so focused on the little wizard's magic show to do anything useful" Delano said as Kikiania stared at the woman with her 3 heads. "Easy now kikiania she does not seem to want to cause harm, but i could also be wrong. However hold on until we at least find the shop around this dust bowl of a town" Delano said so everyone around him could hear. Delano thought to himself Maybe that will get some of these baboons' attention
"Elisa why are you even bothering?" one of them men asked looking away from the match, a few others actually turning around as well, "Yeah it's obviously the kid's nothing more than trouble. Leave him be."
"Well why don't you all now just get back to your sport and I'll do what I want," Elisa scolded, making the men turn around in a huff, and she then turned to Delano. In one quickl motion she had not only smacked the back of his head, hard enough to make him yelp, but had his ear in a grip that Delano doubted any man could break. Pulling him along like a little kid she even scolded him, some of the men laughing lowly as she did, "Now didn't anyone ever teach you its impolite to call people names? You think they'll just stop what their doin' because you demanded?"
"Owww... Geez lady people have to get people's attention somehow. Plus i call him as i see them and they look like a bunch of monkeys crowding around like there is bananas in it for them" Delano said while kikiania hissed at the lady. "Easy Kikiania we don't want to start a blood bath yet..." Delano said. Kikiania backoff a little. "Ok lady let go of me. And tell me where i can get some supplies around this place and where a job board would be" Delano said eying Kikiania looking ready to kill if needed.
Elisa let go of Delano's ear, but once he began to run his rude little mouth again she didn't think twice about slapping the back of his head; trying to knock some sense into that thick skull of his. Even when Kiki hissed at her the woman showed no signs of being afraid, she even gave a hiss back to Kiki, and the creature nearly shrunk back afterwards. Looking at Delano, her eyes were stern, "What makes you think you'll get anything talking like that? Were you raised by saytrs or something, hmmm?"
"You can stop with the grinning any time now Crystal." Evelyn said. she didn't particularly care for space at the moment she just wanted something to sleep on. The idea was to spend a few hours here, and then get to helping Flamme. Evelyn had been amazed by the hospitality the people of the town were willing to share. Furthermore, they hadn't had to explain why they needed a place to sleep at the crack of dawn. The community must have been used to helping people who got caught up in the dangers of the night. Evelyn then turned to thank the woman who had let them in.
"Thank you for the room. Don't worry about the space, we're both just going to pass out on the thing anyway." Evelyn said.
"I'm just glad I convinced Flamme to stay in that barn." Evelyn thought when looking at the bed again.
The woman gave Evelyn a warm smile, "Anything for my son's friends. You two must've meant a lot to Andrew for him to do something so bold, it's quite unlike him."
Leaving the temporarily stunned girls she walked down the stairs, the floor boards creaking as she did, and when the front door shut Crystal looked over to her friend. She could hardly believe that the person who had taken them in and gave them a bed had been the mother of Andrew- who himself went so far to make sure they'd be alright by sacrificing himself. Sitting down on the bed Crystal stared at the floor, trying to think of something to break the silence, yet nothing appropriate would ever come to mind. She could mention the religion of Nomen and how something like what Andrew had done would guarentee him into their version of 'heaven', but that felt like it would only make things worse.
"Who i was raised by is of no information a person i don't know needs. Kikiania come" Delano said as Kikiania walked over to Delano. Delano climbed onto Kikiania's back. "If you want to know i've been alone for something and in need of supplies before i head out to find a job. By job i mean slaying creatures reeking havoc where ever i am need that is where i help. It seems i'm unwanted so just tell me where to get supplies so i can leave this town" Delano said to the women.
The woman confidently walked towards Kiki and grabbed Delano by his pant's legs and yanked him off; Kiki not being able to hold back a bit of laughter as her partner looked up completely surpised. Waiting for the young man to get up Elisa then stopped him, an obvious rant going to come out of his mouth, and then spoke, "Doesn't matter if you've been alone. There will always be people and you'll need to learn how to speak to them properly. Now come with me."
Taking hold of his wrist, another iron grip squeezing down on him, Elisa hurried him along as Kiki curiously followed; the beast not even really wanting to attack her anymore, having found a bit of respect for someone soconfident. As Elisa walked with Delano in hand like a little child most of the town had finally began paying attention to him, though it was now an embarrassing display, and brought him into a house. Digging into a drawer she spoke to him, "So you want a job do you?"
Throwing something at him Delano held it out, discovering it was an apron, and his eyes grew wide with confusion. Looking up he could see Elisa tieing one of her own, "Then you'll work at my resturaunt. That way I can teach you some manners you rude little piglet."
Delano looked at the apron "Well... its a job so i can't turn it down" Delano said has he put the apron on "Kikiania Stand guard out incase there is a need for your assistance" Delano said to Kikiania took a seat next to the enterance of the restruant. "So want am i doing waiting tables or being the janitor of this place" Delano said. "I'll be leaving at sunset tomorrow so don't except me to make a career out of whatever the job is. There are those who my need assistance and if so i shall rush to their aid." Delano said as he looked his right hand than clitched it.
Not even paying attention to Delano's entire speech about 'rushing to those who need is aid' and what not Elisa threw a big sack of grains at him, the sack was so heavy Delano could harly hold it up, and told him to bring that around back. While Delano struggled to get the flour out of the back door Elisa went to the front and rubbed Kiki's head, telling the beastie she ahd a job she would be much more useful at than just sitting out front. Following her Kiki was lead around to the back to see Delano finally getting out of the door, "Took you that long son? Take it in there."
Pointing to a large building in the backyard Elisa explained that it was a mill to make the resturaunts flour and that he'd be brining flour and other ingrediants back and forth, along with a couple other things that she would think of. Opening the large doors she lead Kiki inside and showed them both a harness that had it's ends attacjed to a large wheel, "Kiki can work here turning the grind while you pour the grains up at the top. Any questions?"
"Thats all." Delano said as he started pouring the grain into the mill. while Kikiania turned the wheel. "How many sacks are there that i need to carry" Delano asked the woman. "Well this will be a good source of training building our stamia and strength Kikiania. So i guess there are other benefits of this job." Delano said to Kikiania who was focused turning the wheel with front leg. Delano kept pouring the grain making flour at the bottom of the mill.
"...I'm not sure I feel like sleeping so much, after hearing that." Evelyn sort of mumbled after hearing Andrew's parents had taken them in. Evelyn sat on the bed on the opposite side of Crystal who had spoken since they'd heard the news. Evelyn finally laid down on her side of the bed and was quickly thinking about a lot things.
"I'm in the Tamers world... but that's just a game right? But if it was just a game, things wouldn't feel so real here. So is this an actual world? Real people... not just data acting off of known human behavior? So the deaths... they're real too then. Andrew, a real person, gave his life to save mine. Sewati, another real person, died. Yaming, again another real person, almost died. And now I've seen Andrew's parents who are really mourning the loss of their son. This is just too much. It's too much to think about... too much to worry about..." Evelyn thought as she quickly fell asleep.
The day slowly came and went as Delano continued to repeat the task, only leaving to get water and use the bathroom, and finally felt like he couldn't continue another second. Opening the doors Elisa smiled when she saw Delano and Kiki, both sweating and tired out of their minds, and tossed them wool cloths, "Dry yourselves up and you can go freshen up. Dinner will be ready soon."
Turning the lady left, patting her apron which was covered in the flour Delano and his partner had been making all day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Me either," Crystal said looking down at the bed she had been sitting on. How could she sleep in the same place as someone who just recently died?! Leaning back Crystal's mind followed the same pattern as her friends, at least that was what she was hoped. Crystal wasn't one who wanted to dwel on the past and think about all the bad things which had recently happened to her, but it was the only thing she COULD think about. Slowly closing her eyes Crystal too fell asleep.

A sharp gong shook both girls awake, looking around confused by the sleep still drifting through their heads, and stood up. Opening the window's curtains they could see that the day was nearly gone, the sun setting, and then heard the gong ring out again with the screams of people; the noise sending chills down their spines. Crystal glanced at Evelyn, her eyes wide with uncertainty, "What's going on!?"

"Hai" Delano said as both him and Kikiania were straving "Well we'll be out here tomorrow heading to the next town" Delano said to Kikiania petting each of her three heads. "Maybe after we are done traveling we can find a nice spot of land of relax hopely assuming that everything goes well." Delano continued saying outloud to Kikiania. Kikiania looked Delano like he is crazy because that type of life would be assumed boring and uneventful which she despises.

Elisa smiled to herself, having listened from the kitchen, at what Delano was saying. The boy was a bit too loud for his own good and she had been bale to hear every word that came out of his mouth; plus what made him think she'd let him go was beyond her reasoning. She had already stated she wasn't going to let them go until they learned their lessons and she, even being her age, was more than capable of keeping THAT promise.

Walking out of the kitchen Elisa called out to both of them, "Dinner!"

Evelyn was suddenly awake after hearing the sound of a gong go off. Crystal seemed just as confused as she was. Upon looking outside they noticed the sun was setting so they had been sleeping much longer than they had intended. People were screaming and it was obvious enough what was going on at the moment.

"Seems we slept the whole day. And I think the nightmare is starting all over again." Evelyn said. What great timing they had. They just went to sleep after one attack only to wake up to another one coming in. It hadn't started yet hopefully. It was after sundown that everyone wanted so badly to be inside behind closed doors. But those inside homes weren't the ones who were attacked, it was those few unfortunate enough to find themselves outside at night. And then one thought struck Evelyn's mind. And it didn't just enter and go, it stayed and consumed her thoughts.

"Flamme! He's just in some barn! That won't keep him safe! Those things will kill him!" she yelled panicked. She began bolting for the door of the room.

Crystal knew the creatures would once again come into the village and attack anything outside, but while they remained inside it was safe. Looking to her right after hearing a noise see could see Evelyn heading for the door and Crystal too realized Flamme was in nothing more than a barn, "Thats not good! He won't be safe there!" Standing up Crystal raced down the stairs behind Evelyn and followed her out of the front door, ready to help her as much as she would recieve from Evelyn herself. Though once they had hit the outside Andrew's mother grabbed hold of them, "What are you doing? Get inside now!"

The sounds of people screaming began to grow and Evelyn was about to explain that Flamme was still in the barn when an all to familiar howl rang out. Both girl's eyes grew wide, knowing that the Yowie had indeed returned, and this time during the day! Crystal looked over her shoulder and couldn't help but scream once she actually spotted them, but unlike last nights chaotic attack the Yowie this time appeared to be systematically breaking through the village. The sun still an hour away from setting both could see the creatures slamtheir bodies against the spell protected houses until they crashed inside and continued their search.

Evelyn thought she was going to make it out but Andrew's mother prevented her from leaving. And before she could protest she took a look outside and noticed that not only were the Yowie present, they were behaving oddly. They were making organized efforts to get into homes. Something that Evelyn knew the mindless savages of last night were incapable of. Still, Flamme was really the only thing on her mind at the moment. Just as Evelyn meant to go out again the howling sound came loudly and Evelyn almost lost it right there. She gave up on trying to leave.

"Flamme! Can you hear me? Please, get inside a house! You can't die tonight!" Evelyn said mentally trying to reach out to her partner who she wouldn't be able to get to. No answer came, but Evelyn knew before she tried that a response wouldn't come.

"Dammit! I'm not close enough. I can't talk with him." Evelyn thought. She backed away from the door and let it close. She could feel the start of tears in her eyes as she continued to think of Flamme.

"You better not die on me tonight." she said, barely audible.
