Tamers (Started/Accepting Via OOC)

"W-Well," the kid began once Trago let his shirt go, though the kitsune walked over and sat down next to Sven. While the young boy stuttered he stood up, dropping apples and then very quickly going to pick them back up. When Sven noticed the boys state, the type of cloths and the cluster of apples, it reminded him of his childhood. "I hate having people around me but," he thought, the sound of more people climbing the stairs caught all three's attention and made them pause as it got closer. Sven knew that if the kid was spotted, then they both could be in trouble, "Trago! Hide the kid under the covers . . . you lay there also. If they check the room, I'll just have you come out from the covers to show that there is something there. Now go . . ."

 

Following his partner's commands Trago went under the kid's legs and then jumped onto the bed. Then he pulled the covers over the kid and himself before laying there quietly. Sven picked up the apples and put them on the table, like he was bringing them on his trip since he was traveling. Then he waited near the door and heard someone knocking, a deep voice ordering for the door to be open.

 

"Irenia!" Daena called out, returning the fairy to her senses. Irenia flew erratically over to Daena, sitting on her shoulder with tears welling in her eyes. With Irenia placated, Daena turned to the boy who was just speaking a moment a go. "I'm Daena. Her name is Irenia. *NOT* idiotic sprite." Daena stared deep into the boy's eyes, trying her best to hide her anger and just try to figure out what was happening. "She's a little hot blooded, but I assure you she is as intelligent as anyone else."

 

"For a sprite as tiny as her to attack an imperial guard then said sprite must be lacking in brains. But Irenia it is," the boy said, his expression not changing even as Daena hide her anger the best she could. Letting out a small chuckle the boy snapped his finger and the guard Jericho left him, though stayed within sight, and the boy stepped forward. Looking at Daena the boy even went as far as to lift Deana's hair and pat her bottom, "I take it you are not from around here . . ."

 

"Sister!?" someone called from behind Daena and she could hear people rushing behind her. Looking around she could see John and Ave with Ungulf and Magnanim behind them. resting his hands over her shoulder John leaned in and whispered, "Ave found you while he was in the sky, we've all been looking for you for over an hour. But thats not important right now. What's going on?"

 

"You'll have to forgive my niece and her fairy Sir Alexander, they're from out of town," Ungulf said taking a bow, being as humble as he could, but the noble child seemed to completely ignore him as his eyes remained on the Roc. With another snap of his finger the carrage came up on him, "All three of you will accompany me to my house."

 

As Sewati raised his arm once more, most likely to kill her and Evelyn shut her eyes and held her arms in front of her face, obviously aware she was going to die. "I can't die.... not like this, not in the Tamers world!" she thought and then after a few seconds she hadn't died or even been injured. Evelyn put her arms down and saw someone had grabbed a hold of Sewati. It was Andrew and though he was in horrible shape, he was holding Sewati back.

 

"Andrew!" Evelyn said, relieved to see him alive and startled at the same time. It was obvious he was using whatever strength he had left to prevent Sewati from killing them and she wasn't going to waste the chance Andrew was providing. She grabbed a hold of Crystal's arm with her right hand, "We're going, now! Get into the cemetery, whatever! We just need to get away from here! Those two won't be killed."

 

Evelyn began to drag Crystal off with her who shortly after starting began to run on her own. As they continued Flamme came down lower, just overhead. Though panting Evelyn managed to call out to Crystal, "First entrance you see, we're turning in."

 

As she ran she was able to put Gale away as she wouldn't be able to cast it for awhile anyway, and brought Torrent back out. In her state, she doubted she would be able to use it well, or even at all, but she needed something that at least gave her the feeling of protection. The sound of something hitting the gournd made both of them turn as they looked to see Andrew's lifeless body beside them. With another loud crash Sewati landed, Yaming's limp body craddled under his arm, and the werebear gave a loud roar.

Sven heard the knocking and the command and waited a few seconds. He did this to not show that he was near the door or in a hurry of any sort. He looked at the bed, making sure Trago and the kid were tucked under the covers nicely and that the apples were in a position that wouldn't seem out of place. Then he opened the door like the command had said. "Yes. What is it that you want," he stated. He gave a hint of anger, since he quite seriously hated to be commanded in a way and the fact it was a person no doubt didn't help.

Daena was about to open her mouth in rebuttal as the boy became too personal for comfort. He may look young, but he seemed to have a presence of an adult. Fortunately, something else happened before she dug herself deeper.

 

Although Daena didn't show it, she was confused at the call of 'sister' at first. Things would proceed to get even stranger, with the royal commanding that the group ride in the carriage with him! Daena wanted to protest, but seeing the way Ungulf acted, she figured it would be in her best interest to comply. Irenia held tightly to Daena as she climbed into the carriage, still shaken from the damage her wings took. Daena gently rested her finger on Irenia's lap, who seemed to calm down due to the gesture. During the ride, Daena mostly kept quiet, now that she regained her composure, and took in as much audio and visual information as she could.

As the carriage continued on their way Daena and John found themselves going over a very large bridge, the young man never looking outside the cabin despite the spectacular view from atop the bridge. Instead he merely would shift his eyes from Irenia to Daena, with an occassional glance to John and his Roc flying alongside his own outside. Once they began to reach the top he let out a cough to catch their attention and then spoke, "Do you enjoy the view ma'am?"

 

"That is on a need to know basis boy," the large man said once he came into the room, followed by a troll in brown armor, "And you don't need to know."

 

Searching the room the man opened all of the doors and checked each and every window, the troll keeping watch over Sven until she spotted the apples, "Just apples bought?"

"Yeah I like apples. And so does my partner. He enjoys them too. Don't you Trago," Sven stated. Trago stuck his head out from under the sheets and then got out of them, before sitting just in front of the kid under the covers to hide that the sheets didn't go completely down. "Now may I ask why your intently searching my room?" he said with a hint of anger in his voice, "Or may I ask you to leave my room."

The troll gave a low growl as Sven continued to push the envelope, not knowing he was dealing with guards of the city, and could easily end up in jail. Laughing under his breath the large man grabbed an apple in his hand, completely surrounding it with his bulky fingers, and then tossed it back up. Catching it once more he grinned at Sven and Trago before heading to the door, "I guess there is nothing out of the ordinary here- except for having your pet on the bed."

 

Closing the door the sound of both the man and the troll decended the stairs. Once the noise disappeared the boy popped his head out of the covers, his face covered with sweat and breathing heavily, "I thought we were a goners . . ."

While Riding on his Balaur's back though a long and wide grasslands Delano said "Kikiania, do you know how much longer until we get to town or something." One of Kikiania's heads turned to Delano and nodded no. "Ugh o well just keep heading straight maybe we will see some monsters ahead or something to fight. That'll at least give us something to do" Delano said as Kikiania kept walking with her 3 heads looking in different directions watching for danger. "Man i need a drink" Delano says as he pulls out a waterskin and takes few sips. "When is something fun going to happen...." Delano said disappionted due to lack of action

Then he gave a chin rub to Trago. "And you partner, you did good too," he stated. Then he walked over and grabbed an apple and handed it to the boy. "So tell me, what happened," Sven asked, "You can eat while you talk."

While the sunbeat down on Delano's neck his partner, Kiki [ooc: I will NOT type the entire name], looked back and around with her three heads to find anything in the distance within the vast arrid desert they had found themselves in. He had been playing Tamers at his friends house when the Tamer Systems started to go haywire, sparking like crazy and not shutting off once the log-out code was entered.

 

Now he was lost in some desert, luckily for him he had been practicing in this sort of terrain for about week so he had his items ready, but no matter what he had the fact remained- he'd eventually run out and possibly die. "Can I actually die in a game?" he would constantly think as the sun moved across the sky each day. On his sixth day, nearly out of water, Delano and Kikki found themselves at a mountain base of all things; just as well, after all if there was a desert, there HAD to be a mountin somewhere . . .

 

Now to climb, or go around?

Without any prompting the kid leapt from the bed, knocking back the covers and sliding into the chair with ease before shoving an apple into his wide open mouth and bitting into it. Smacking and chewing, bits and pieces of the green apple coming out between the little kid's lips Sven coulnd't help be absolutely sure this kid had no family, because no mother would let their son eat like a pig. Once the first apple was finished the boy grabbed another and raised it to his mouth, but stopped once he spotted Trago watching from the other end of the table, the Kitsune's eyes on the apple. Smiling the body tossed it over to Trago, who began to knaw on it, though not really eating it, and the boy turned his attention back to Sven, "Oh I never told you my name mister. I'm Axel . . . so what's your name? I bet you have a really cool name like Stone or Ace or Maximus or General Hawkings!"

[The Warden]

Aaron and Lancet had been walking almot linearly through the forest, it had begun to become more gloomy and dark. 'If this world is like the Tamers world, following this path will lead us to a Graveyard, where I had intended to obtain a Shadow or Wraith as my second partner' he explained to Lancet, who was following silently. 'Don't give me that look lancet, you will always be my first. But, it would be handy to have allies to call upon should you get injured' Aaron stated, before the forest opened up to a grim graveyard. 'We're here, be on high alert' he warned.

"Hmm... a Mountain i say go forward. Forward march Kikiania" Delano said. Once of kikiania's heads turned and nodded as she got footed she started to climb using her claws to get a good grip of the rocky surface. "Easy now we don't want to fall off now" Delano said holding on to the back of one of kikiania's head. The right head turned than sniffed similar to a no duh sherlock "Hey hey calm down no need to get puffy" Delano said jokingly

With the night time sky making it hard to see through Aaron and Lancet wandered through the graveyard without being able to see much before them. Giant tombstones would appear to be people, while more than once they fell into a muddy puddle because it looked like any other patch of ground, and soon found themselves cold and a bit hungry in a dark graveyard.

With Kiki's claws digging into the hard bedrock of the mountain side Delano would look down occassionally and be stunned at how little he could see, the sun having already went down and making his sight go down with it. He would have started off in the morning, but he learned the hard way that if you waited for the sun to rise all you'd get out of it was having to walk through the heat of the day- and with the little water he had neither of them could afford that.

 

With each crash into the bedrock another noise above them sounded off, thought it might have only been an echo. Hell Delano would be hard pressed to believe it was anything else- since in the entire week he had been stuck in this world it had only been him and Kiki.

"Hmm...either echos or something esle. Well we'll find out now won't we Kikiania" Delano said to Kikian as she continued climbing up the rocky surface. Kikiania turned he right head to him and give him the just shut up and let me do what i'm here for look. Delano laughed "Sorry but your the only living creature around here to talk to that is unless there is something up there but the chances that if they is that would mean we would most likely have to fight or maybe not it all depends. Thats how things roll"

[The Warden]

Aaron was tired, hungry and cold. 'I guess I forgot that this was no longer a game. It's a strugle for life and death in a world you never know. You need more than your wits and strength to survive' he said to his silent partner. 'I know this is asking a lot of you, but I need you to take over. Unlike you I do need to rest, so, I leave our fate in your hands Lancet' Aaron said as he walked forward and into Lancet. He felt the feet move as Lancet began to leave the graveyard. Aaron yawned and closed his eyes, having great faith in his partner.

The sound of crashing rock around him forced Aaron to wake up from his slumber, though the hunger in his stomach only returned since he still had yet to eat, and he could see through Lancet that they were walking through a gravel wall. Wondering where he was he glanced around, seeing the begining to a village and candle light windows getting closer. Somehow his partner had managed to find a village before he died of hunger. Now the only thing to do was find a place to rest for the night and get something . . . ANYTHING to eat.

Reaching a plateu about the third of the way up the mountain Delano and Kiki slump down to the cool soil underneath them, thankful they have a place to rest for a bit from the perilous climb. Though sleep begins to enter their minds, relaxing their muscles as peaceful dreams float about a sharp tapping wakes them up. Looking around him both find themselves surrounded! Yet not by enemies, but by Ibong Adarna; his Tamer Device lighting up and identifying the creatures as "bird(s) that changes color each time it finishes a song". While the device beeps and blinks the Ibong almost repeat the noise, though not perfectly, and create a song out of the random sounds- turning a brilliant green once they finished.

As the boy began to eat furiously, Sven grabbed the apple out of his hand. "Eat slower, or else you would get sick," he stated as he handed it back to him. He watched Trago eat a bit then returned to looking at the kid. "Your name is Axel eh. Well nice to meet you. I am Sven Trago. And that there is Trago Nuaga. We are partners," he said, "So why are you here? why'd you steal the apples?" He took an apple himself and bit down on it.

"Hmm.. interesting does not seem like a threat but looks can be deceiving" Delano said has they both looked at the bird. "That takes random to another level of random" Delano laughed as Kikiania looked at him like he was nuts. "What you got to admit that it was completely random there. But anyways if that thing is here i wonder what esle could be up here." Delano said with a little hint of excitement while Kikiania just rolled her eyes. "Do you have to my fun me all the time Kikiania" Delano asked. Kikiania chuckled and grinned "....Gee thanks" Delano said as he rolled his eyes back

"Huh?!" Daena said. The sudden question shook her out of her trance-like state. It was a shame, too; she really did enjoy the scenery.

 

"...Oh yeah. It's amazing." Daena replied before glancing outside again, as if she forgot all about the previous encounter moments ago. "I'm just taking in the scenery, so..." Daena paused, trying to find the words she wants to say. "...so I apologize if I seem distant to you."

 

Irenia was still uncomfortable, and now hid herself in Daena's robe, with her head peeking out the front and hands holding the fabric. She regularly stared at the young man in suspicion, but even she found herself enjoying the view from time to time.

[Andx]

Evelyn looked back to Sewati as she heard two horrible sounds. She saw Andrew and Yaming had both been attacked and seemed completely lifeless now. Evelyn paused for a bit from the running at the sight. It engulfed all her thoughts.

"No, they weren't supposed to die! Sewati wasn't going to hurt them! He'd left Yaming alone! Why?" she thought. Flamme tried to tug at Evelyn to get her moving again as they were close to an entrance to the cemetery. Evelyn didn't respond to it and instead raised her tome. She meant to attack Sewati.

 

The Torrent tome began glowing as she focused energy into but it was noticeably less stable than when she had previously used it. Tired from her previous spell there was little chance of Evelyn successfully controlling the spell. In fact if she wasn't careful there could be a rather nasty recoil from the spell or it might just hit everyone in the area indiscriminately. Though she didn't seem to notice that and continued preparing the spell. Noticing the spell, Flamme began to pull harder at Evelyn's feet.

"I'll make you come back and see what you've done Sewati! Maybe the actual you can still help them!" she called out as her spell was ready to be cast.

Sewati threw Andrew's lifeless body away from him, making it crash into a gravemaker destorying it, and lumbered towards Evelyn. Though the wind was whipping around violently his blood red eyes glowed brightly under the full moon, his head tilting back so he could give a very auidiable howl towards his mistress. Raising both hands Sewati's bear-face, fangs exposed menacingly, readied himself to dismember the human standing before him.

 

A sudden thunking noise however broke the seemingly deadly flow of the fight, an arrow had sunk into Sewati's right shoulder and forced him to instinctively look to where it had come from. Even Evelyn, out of insitnct, looked behind her to see Crystal drawing another arrow taunt on her long bow; her eyes hard and seemingly without an ounce of fear. Pulling the string beside her head Crystal half screamed half demanded, "Evelyn get out of the way now!"

"I was starving to death," Axel answered finishing off his fourth apple, stunning even Sven at the ammount the kid could stomach. Grabbing for another apple he held it in his hands for a minute and looked at Sven, then to his partner. For a minute Axel appeared to be thinking about something, possibly thinking about answering the first question, and coughed. Tossing the apple away Axel held his chest, the coughing growing more violent, as he hunched over for a minute and then stood back up.

 

"Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you Mr.," he said back up on his feet. Taking the apple back in hand he placed it in Sven's hands and went towards the door, "Thank you for helping me back there. I hope you find whatever it is you're looking for . . ."

 

Without a second glance Axel opened the door and darted out down the hall.

"I see," the young man said, more to himself than anyone else, and glanced out the window at the scenery too. Not a minute passed before his eyes had returned to look at Daena, an occassional glance thrown Irenia's way, and he then heard the sound of running water.

 

"Master Adrian, we are almost home," Jericho said peering out of the cabin, unintentionally pressing John closer towards his employer, "What would you like to do with these commaners?"

 

"Leave them," Adrian, as Daena and John discovered was his name, said bluntly waving even the massive guard off like an annoying fly, "They are to accompany me to my villa with full privilages, understood?"

 

"W-What? Really?!" John asked, completely stunned that this unemotional little brat was actually going to take then in, so to speak.

Having found, some, relief that what they had heard a few minutes ago whilst climbing had been nothing more than birds Delano could only laugh at the apparant randomness. After a mild conversation between him and his partner, more one-sided than two, he could feel the birds landing on his shoulders. Seemingly comfertable with his presense they started to sing out loud again, changing colors once again to match the notes they were singing.

Delano looked at the bird than the sights "Hmm... a sing bird and a view from a mountain the only thing missing is a nice dinner and a random girl" Delano chuckled "Wow i sound like that random side character on tv" Kikiania turned to him and snorted annoyed by Delano going on and on about his world "Yea yea i know i'm in this world not my world. I can't help it that i have to talk about world with you, but hey its not like there is a random people whose going to climb up this mountain just to talk to us" Delano said lookin at the view with the randomly singing bird sing randomly

Rift and Matsue where sitting next to the fire while Iceis laying behind them, keeping an eye on the two. Ethril was snoring, as dreams crept through his mine. Rift looked over as Matsue shivered next to the fire. He was just as cold as she was Iceis laying behind them, Ethril snoring, as dreams crept through his mine. He was jsut about to move closer to her so that his body heat would help keep her warm, when a big, blue wing wraped both him and Matsue up. Iceis then pulled them both closer to her body, dropping them both right next to her belly. Then she repostioned her wing, enclosing them in with it, forming a tent like structure.

" that should keep you both warm till morning." She said and with that she fell promptly to sleep.

 

" Well atleast where warm." Rift whisppered to Matsue. Who was blushing just as much as Rift. they where pushed right up on one another. Their was little room under Iceis wing, so they made do, Matsue was force to put her head on Rifts lap in order for them to have room to sleep with some confort. Ethril was snoring right be side Matsue. It was alittle to close for comfort for every one. But they where warm so they dealt with it.

 

The next morning Rift was waken up by Iceis who had just open her wings forceing light of the new day shine on those who slept under her wing alnight. At first glance Rift could see that the fire that they had lit last night had gone out. Befor he could see much more... Iceis let out a roar that made every one jump to their feet, then she said to Matsue " which way to the nearest town , Rift needs supplys."

"Yeah, I'm surprised too," Daena said outloud. John sounded as surprised and confused as she was. "So, if I may speak, what's so interesting about us that caught your interest?" Daena was speaking to Adrian now. "I mean, we're just foreigners trying to find our way home, really." Daena didn't notice she let it slip that they were lost, and continued to speak anyway. "Of course we're grateful for your hospitality and kindness, but Irenia and that guard were fighting back there! I, at least, am still on edge from the entire incident!"
