Dark, Psychic, and Fighting.

 

I think Fighting > Dark, I can't remember.

 

One type is entirely mental and no physical power, everything comes from the mind. Dark uses it's mind and physical aspects, and uses it's mind to make smart moves. Fighting is all brawn and no brains.

 

It's a spectrum of styles, as well.

 

However, I would have such a hard time picking between the three, my mind would blow.

I agree, 4 times each with water, grass and fire. They need to do something different. Although they might think that changing it might get some negative feedback.

Or like with pre-evos of Absol, that evolve into an Absol, but dependent on Type, which evolves into final form, or 2nd stage, of the type.

Yes, I'm saying there will be a pre-evo and an evo for Absol for every type.

EDIT: Also some of the names sound really plain. Leafol, Toxol, Aqusol, Eartsol... We should try to come up with something better. Norsol, Boulsol and Dragsol are ok though.

What about mine of Flaresol? But what should we use instead of them Treesol instead of Leafsol.
