Doctor Who

Well so far its hilarious, maybe a bit to much for him being the Doctor and all. I'm only about 10 minutes in so its hard to judge. However I feel Matt is trying a bit to hard to be like the previous Doctor. Perhaps the directors doing?

Have you guys seen it, do you want to see it?

I thought it was funny in TEH when:

a) He goes he likes apples, eats the apple, goes what is this and goes that apples aren't his favourite.

b) Then he goes yoghurt is his favourite swallows the whole carton and goes he hates it.

c) when the guy goes aren't you gonna turn you back and amy goes no(the look on her face when she says that!).

d) And of course, "Im a kiss-o-gram!" (Cue swishing hair)

DW is epic but they changed a bit too much. Like the screwdriver.

He isn't as good as Christopher Eccleston or David Tennant. He delivers his lines in a somewhat monotone voice and doesn't have the emotional diversity or quiet solemness that made Tennant and Eccleston so unique. The script feels like it's been written for Tennant and therefore, he tries to deliver in a way similar to that of Tennant's. And unfortunately - he doesn't pull it off.

In short, he needs to find his own style. He's got potential, but he needs to get better fast or the ratings will drop. Hopefully he'll warm up a bit in the next few episodes. To quote Smith himself: "I'm still cooking. I'm not done yet." He just needs to warm up to the character.

I like the new companion. She's the best the show has had since Billie Piper.
