You cant say anything Destiny' date=' yours is a blatant copy of Prototype. You've even got the same last name and the name of the virus is your codename. I Actually didn't notice spartans untill you said. And Sorry greed, I copied my previous app and edited it.

[/quote']

Nice eye, it's one of my favorite games, thats why i've chosen those powers.

I case no one knows Here are some interesting Facts about Destiny Gundam's "Character", (note that is is Info from the game)

-About the BLACKLIGHT Virus: "He has displayed regenerative abilities powerful enough to allow him to reform from being turned to mush from a nuclear blast, so long as there is some source of biomass to absorb."

- And Alex Mercer in general: "Tim Bennison, the executive producer of Prototype, described Alex Mercer as one of the most powerful video game characters ever created"

And that is exactly what I should have said. The character prototype has no memories of his own, so abilities to do with his past a nullified. He isn't a human, at the end of the game it is said that he is the Blacklight virus itself. He can manipulate his body into any shape and/or form giving him the ultimate disguise. Altogether, the most Oped character I have ever seen. And with Destiny's added bits, that is a frigging indestructible man.

Well the first point, i know that should keep him dead, but you've gotta remember, Alex Mercer is technically dead, he's just a virus... and the second point i did not know that, i just play the game, i don't read anything about it.

This RP has potential. Let's see it blossom! (as long as we don't get locked for arguing over video games... >_>)

Name: Cato 'Paradox' Livius

Age: Male

Gender: Male

Personality: The eternal pragmatist, he refuses to do anything that will not benefit him. Even if it will benefit him, he will not do it unless there is a clear path to its completion. He has a very low opinion of humanity, believing that saying that anyone is better than the animals is conceited and arrogant. Since people are just animals to him, he feels as much guilt when killing someone as a little kid who steps on a worm.

Appearance: Ghostly pale skin, 5' 8", thin frame. He once had sparkling blue eyes and long blonde hair, but due to the experimentation, his hair turned pitch black and his eyes began glowing red. He wears a long black cloak with a cloth covering his face that has the Japanese kanji for 'force'.
å‹¢

Good or Evil: Evil

Power:
The power to manipulate mass on a 3-Dimensional plane. He is able to lift people and objects up to 100 kg in 30 second bursts within a 20 m radius. Over use of his powers often results in a debilitating headache that can knock Cato unconcious.
The power to move the force of an object in motion into another object. Both objects must both be in a 10 m radius of Cato and neither object can have a constant source of their motion, such as an arm of an attacker.

Weapon(s): A single metal pole the same height he is.

Abilities: - Can stop bullets and other projectiles from hitting him provided there is another object to transfer force to.

- Can lift and throw an average sized person without touching them.

Attacks: (Attacks are not named.)

Escape: No. Cato collaborated with his captors to assist in the escapees's recapture.

Bio: Cato was born an orphan, his father dying before he was born and his mother dying during childbirth. He was raised in an orphanage, showing an interest in ancient history, naming himself Cato after the Roman senator. He was brutally abused by his fellow orphans, coming close to dying on multiple occasions, the caretakers of the orphanage not giving a damn. Fed up about the unjustice, he escaped the orphanage, and like proverbially walking out of a frying pan and into the oven, he was taken away by government officials for a super soldier program. He collaborated with his captors in exchange for money and immunity to all criminal charges.

((I guess I can start us off))

Jason was walking along a dusty road, and had been walking along the dusty road, and there was absolutely nothing in close proximity. He looked over at his friend, Joey, who had managed to escape with him. She was his best friend in the world, and the only person he felt completely confident talking to. Smiling to himself as a thought crossed his mind, he turned and looked back ahead. Hopefully they would reach some kind of civilization soon, otherwise they would have to use their powers, and figure out some way to survive. Jason looked back, looked back at the building that was slowly receding into the background, the place where his, and Joey's, troubles had started. Glad to be rid of the people who had captured, and caged, him and his friend, he felt like a great weight had been lifted off his chest.

Paradox was brought to the warden in full retention equipment: a straitjacket, a face mask and belts to tie him to a dolly. The warden was distraught about the sudden escape of all his test subjects, knowing that if news of this leaks out, he will be fired and possibly killed. As Paradox was wheeled in, one of the guards who was escorting him knocked on the warden's office door.

"Sir, one of the subjects requested a meeting," the guard simply stated, standing guard next to the restrained Paradox as if he were able to lash out any second. The warden looked up, asking what Paradox wanted without talking.

"Mr. Warden, we both know that if those escapees start to cause some trouble in the city, you lose your job and your credibility. I want to help. I was locked away with them for all those months and I know their modus operandi. I was the only one who learned how to use their powers in that hole. You need me." Paradox mumbled through the restraints.

"What do you want in return? I know you're only in this for yourself," the warden replied, narrowing his eyes with suspicion.

"Of course I'm in this for myself. Why do you think I'm willing to track down and kill the people I befriended over all this time? I just want two things: I want money and I want to disappear. If you promise me these two things, you keep your cushy desk job," Paradox said with a voice full of contempt. The warden hated how the mutant leveraged his position, but he was right.

"Fine. Guards, release him and send him on his way. Before you do that, implant the chip," warden said as he went back to his paperwork.

The guards stuck a very large needle into Paradox's back, making him inhale sharply. Then the guards undid all the buckles, Paradox savouring the freedom of it all. He simply walked out of the building he was imprisoned in for the longest time. He then took off at lightning speed down the road, heading straight for civilization.

"Well Nico, today is yet another day by myself. I know you're out there thinking of me, or at least I hope you are." Trinity smiled looking at the self drawn picture of her brother. It wasn't perfect, actually far from it, but since she never had a picture taken with her brother she had to improvise. Everyday she made a point to talk to the drawing, pretending Nico was actually there. She fingered the necklace around her neck smiling.

"I'm going to the city for something to eat. I'll be back later ok?" Trinity's smile faded slightly when she didn't recieve a reply. Sometimes while doing this she felt very foolish, but if she didn't then it would seem even quieter than it already was.

Trinity gave a tight smile before leaving the hut. She considered making the trip short by changing into mist, but decided that walking would be good for her. There was a light breeze in the air causing the blades of grass to bend backwards, and her hair to lightly sway. It was definantly a day for walking. So with that in mind she started her walk towards the closest city.

Somewhere along a forgotten town, three miles away from any other form of civilisation, a sandstorm brewed. Although the town was gone, erased from the map and now almost ghostly, there was still one resident. One that didn't mind the odd sandstorm, because he made them real. His dreams had become his reality, but a nightmare at the same time. Years ago, he was kidnapped, stolen from an orphanage, not far from London. He was bundled in a sack and knocked unconcious. The next thing he had remembered was waking up in a chamber, surrounded by needles, bright lights and scientists. He was injected with some strange liquid, something that looked like the air itself, in liquid form. It seemed alive, and when it was injected, painful screams were heard inside his head. He never knew that those were his own screams. After that, everything went red. Not black, red. Red with blood. His eyes grew bloodshot, his face writhed with a mixture of pain and hatred. That place was utterly anihalated. But three years later, it was reformed. He came back to find the toture building restored and bigger. When he approached he heard the screams of a thousand children, all wishing they were dead. He heard the death cries of a hundred children. He screamed and screamed and screamed, before waking up in this town. He hadn't left since. He sighed and stood up. The winds hade changed, and it was starting. The world would fall, soon, unless they mastered their abilities. For, the children in the torture houses had escaped, and he was to lead them. He sighed, and vanished, leaving a blast of sand behind him. When he reappeared, he was standing next to a giant dome, unseen and unheard, listening and watching the escape of masses of children, all with a unique power.
9pxfg3.jpg Nico wears a black hoodie, that is hardly ever unzipped, over a red t-shirt. His pants are black as well, with chains connected to them. His eyes are red, due to the expirimentation, and his hair is short and blond just like in the pic. He keeps his scimatar across his back with the hilt behind his right shoulder.

Flames of Hell - Shoots balls of ire from his hands.

Sword - Surrounds the blade with fire. It's his main focus point for controling fire. However he does not need the sword to control the fire.

Escape: No

Bio: When Nico was 5 she was orphaned along with his twin sister. Until they were 13 years old they lived on the streets doing whatever they could to survive. One day they were both taken by some guys in white lab coats, and seperated. The next time they saw each other both of them had already been experimented on. Nico was given the power over fire and his sister water. Due to the expirimentation his eyes turned Red. Both him and his sister heard about the other teenagers attempt to escape, and they both agreed that they too will escape, but just the two of them. While tring to escape some of the guards found them and Nico stayed back to hold them off while his sister escaped. He faught for as long as he coul but eventually they injected him with something cauing him to fall unconscious.

Not too long after Paradox left, the Warden angrily slammed his fist on the table, still angry at how easily Baradox was ableto manipulate him. He didn't like this one bit. Not only that but we will also loose a test subject.

"Sir, are you sure you should send Paradox out there alone? He may be powerful but there are still more of them than him." One of the guards said.

The Warden put his elbow on his desk, and leaned his head on his fist. "Even so, Paradox is the only one I can be sure that will actually do what he says. He may be in it for him self, but he'll see to it that it's done."

The second guard that was in there smirked, "We know sir but there is something that you should know." He went to the door and opened it revealing two guys in white lab coats. One was in the front and holding a clip board, and the other was behind the first and was pushing a stretched with a young boy laying on it. The boy had blond hair, and while sleeping he seemed peaceful. There was a white thin sheet covering him from the shoulders down.

"Sir." One of the Scientist greeted.

The Warden sat up a bit straighter interested at what new developments have occured. "What is it?"

"We apologize for not telling you earlier, but we didn't want to tell you anything with-out testing it out ourselfs." The Scientist pushing the stretcher said. "We have been working on a chip that could control the actions of these kids."

The one with the clipboard continued, "We have a prototype with-in the boy here." The Scientist then flipped through a few pieces of paper on the clipboard. "This is Nico Rine, 16 years, no parents, and one sister named Trinity Rine, who escaped along with the other experiments. His abilities consist of fire, or anything to do with heat."

The Warden smirked, the skin on his face being stretched to it's fullest. "So you're saying that I could control them with-out any conditions?" It was retoricle, but the Scientist nodded anyway, causing his smirked to widen, if possible. "Show me."

The Scientist pushing the cart took out a metal device and pushed a button. Suddenly Nico's eyes opened, revealing red eyes that seemed slightly dull. He sat up, the sheet falling from his shoulders.

The Warden leaned forward in his chair in awe. "What is your name son?"

"Nico Rine."

"How old are you?"

"16"

"Show me your powers."

Nico nodded, and held out his hand, which suddenly had a large flame in the palm. Nico put the flame out waiting for the next question or command.

The Warden nodded as if in approval. "I don't have any time to waist. Who knows how far Paradox has gotten now. I want you to find him, and aid him with finding the other escapees. Once they are all captured, " The Warden smirked, "Kill him."

Nico nodded, "Yes Sir." With out a second look Nico turned around and left the room, and building.

Joey looked over to Jason and then she set her sights on the horizon as well.

"It's been a long time..." she spoke, in a calm and soft voice tone that was almost never heard from her "Since I've felt a spark of happiness...What about you?"

Joey started thinking about things...Many things. She was glad to be away from trouble, but a part of her wondered What now...?

Wind whipped around his legs. The strange man, the one that could conjure Sandstorms and disappear in a gust of wind. He looked at the giant dome. So much pain. He could feel his heart pumping like a rabbits. He felt like retching. He looked away at the crowds of children, already some were being shot down. Most likely darts than bullets. He doubted the Scientists would want to kill any. And the guards wouldn't either, or else their wages would take a major dive. Then he saw something. A mutant no doubt, but it looked strange, more professional than the others. "Crap, they've got an original!" The man said, taking off at a sprint. He was unaware of the other one coming out, but he had his mind set on capturing the professional. Meanwhile, in his room, the warden was looking at some screens, most of security footage. As a cloud of dust appeared, the warden was already gone. He knew this guy, and knew what would happen. Soon, all the guards were aiming the bullets for him. They never had a chance of hitting. The man appeared in front of paradox, his hands outstreched and a Muramasa in his right one. "Stop right there." He said, to put it simply.

Paradox had finally reached the nape of civilization via a long dirt road. Funny enough, the secret facility holding a confindential government project had a dirt road leading straight to it. That had the same amount of logic as a burgler robbing a house and painting a long solid line back to his hideout. Paradox chuckled humourlessly to himself as he continued down the road at top speed.

As the massive buildings of Sky City came into view, Paradox then discovered a flaw in his plan. There were countless buildings in Sky City, each one having countless floors both above and below ground. This meant having to try to find needles in several thousand haystacks. Paradox sighed at the task at hand. Consumed in his thoughts, he barely had enough time to stumble out of the way of the person in the middle of the road. As he recovered from the close encounter, he squinted to see who it was.

It seemed that his job just got a little bit easier. Instead of having to scour the city, his quarry simply came to challenge him directly. It was Cultin, the ringleader of the escapees. Paradox was half amazed and half amused by the stupidity of Cultin's random challenge. If he was defeated, the escapees would lose any form of organization and scramble across the city like headless chickens. He would not be and easy fight however. Cultin had a strange transforming sword-lance and his fighting skills were impressive. This would not stop Paradox from earning his freedom.

"Ah Cultin. Just the man I wanted to see. You might not like me, but really, I'm not here to hurt you. Fighting is the last thing we both want to do, but if you don't come peacefully, I might have to hurt you. What'dya say? How about you lay down your sword thing and we'll walk back home peacefully?"

Cultin, as that was his name, laughed. "Fat chance. I'm not an Idiot. You, your....Paradox I believe. I escaped just after your arrival. I cant seem to remember your power. But that doesn't matter. Anyway, what are you doing. Dont tell me you've sided with the Warden?" But as Cultin said these words, a bullet flew past him. "Speak of the Devil and he shall appear." The gunman said, revealing himself as the warden. In his hand was a Sig Sauer. "Now, Cultin. Obey Paradox. We have fifty men aiming assault rifles at you here, and five hundred men that can be here in a minute. Your doomed." Cultin laughed as the guns of all the rifle men were destroyed and the men holding them dead. The Warden had one arm. "Now." Cultin said, turning to Paradox. "Where were we." He whispered, as his sword swung down towards Paradox's shoulder.

Trinity misted into an allyway of Sky City. After a while she didn't feel like walking, so she used her powers. She didn't want anyone to know what she was. Not that she was embaressed by it, she just didn't want an scientist to find out who she was. Trinity walked out of the allyway like nothing unnatural had happened. "What should I get to-Huh?" She tilted her head o the side when she heard bullets from not to far away. She then paled, How could I forget? That prision is literally walking distance from here!

Trinity considered just leaving, but she felt a familiar energy coming from that direction. Finally she decided to go check it out. Keeping close to the buildings and out of sight she saw someone she didn't think she'd see again. She smiled. Cultin!!

------------------------------------------------------

Nico was on top of one of the buildings looking down at the chaos that ensued with Paradox, Cultin, and the Warden. He narrowed his eyes at Cultin, choosing to stay back while Paradox handled him. However, he had decided that if Paradox looked like he was in trouble then he would step in.
