Infestation - Project: Bi-oid [accepting via PM/ Started / PG - 14]

Nick flew in as the fight was dewindaling down and began to curse himself for not riding the chopper. He flew in and took out 4 walkers with his pistols before landing in his atificial clearing and pulling out his beam rifle. He pulled the trigger and began shooting it like a machine gun, taking out all the walkers in his path. "DIE YOU SON OF A B****." Nick yelled blasing off the head of another walker. "Damn it, where is their leader." Nick jumped and took to the skys as 4 walkers butted heads beneath him. He spotted one of the brains on the roof and blasted it with his rifle, causing it to explode in a burst of brain juices.

Cristoff shook his head again. Is it me, or are people suddenly jumping out of a flying helicopter? He heard what the pilot said, and quickly grabbed his stuff. Well, I'm not a half falcon for nothing anyway. He thought to himself as he declined the parachute being offered to him.

 

He jumped out of the helicopter, face first towards the ground. Then, he gracefully stretched his pair of wings, allowing him to glide towards where Saber was. He stashed his M810 50.cal Sniper Rifle in his Carry-All Backpack, and immediately drawing his twin slug-firing ingrams. As he neared the ground, he unleashed a fully automatic barrage of high-powered slugs towards nearby mutants, missing Saber by a hairs breadth as each shot finds a target.

 

"Well, Saber, bet that's a wrap." Cristoff said, landing right beside Saber, blowing off some of the exhaust smoke from his twin ingrams. "Sorry bout the slugs that nearly hit you, but rest assured. I'm a marksman. I take shooting to an art form."

"na its cool you wouldnt have hit me anyway. good shot i have to say." suddly saber punched right by cristoffs head knocking a walker that had jumped at him in the face. saber laughed as the walker crumpled to the ground. "there now we're ever k." saber laughed agian and put up his brass knuckles and drew out his pistols. "i might need these in a bit so better safe then sorry."

Silvia drove her attention to the infected. She jumped off the small building, landing on a small wall near a large mutant. Silvia aimed her 45.'s at it, pulling the trigger and than releasing 2 rounds into the head. "Thats how we do it back in Australia!" Silvia holstered her guns than ran towards a group of mutants. She released her claws, driving them in to two mutants. She than jumped up, and sent out a feather from her arm into the neck of another mutant. "Guys, what is with the jets up their!?" Silvia pointed at them, large 707's and A380's were flying above the Spanish town. Than Silvia quickly grabbed a Infected about to bite her and broke it's neck. Silvia grabbed her 45.'s again and continued to shoot oncomming Mutants.

Cristoff nodded his head as Saber punched a mutant right behind him. He felt the force of the punch as Saber's fists punched through close his head.

 

"I must say, those fists aren't for just for show," Cristoff remarked as he shook his head to negate the sonicboom created by the speed and force of Saber's fists, "Remind me not to tell you to punch me anytime soon."

 

More mutants swarmed the surrounding area. Cristoff shot each and every single one on the forehead, his signature place to hit his targets. He rushed up in the air to get a better view, reloading in the process.

 

"I guess we need to step this up a notch, fellas." Cristoff said, dive-bombing beside Saber once again, shooting each and every mutant nearby. "Saber, mind if you watch my back. We can't go alone. Pairing up will heighten up or survival."

"dont worry i dont plan on hitting you any time soon."saber said as he snap kicked a mutant in the side sending it flying. "besides my fists are the least of your probelms if you get into a fight with me." saber then spun his pistols in the air for a second and griped then shooting off all 12 shots from both hitting 20 mutants"i may not be as good of a shot as you but i can do some pretty good things with these pistols." saber reloaded his pistols and raised them to fire agian."now like you said ill cover your back you cover mine."

OOC: ...Ryuujinn... Why would you spread your wings? And no one would offer you a parachute... we were only 10 feet off the ground. An easy jump for even a kid to do. But being genetically enhanced soldiers, I don't think we need to worry. Also, if you checked the mission briefing, you would all know that there are NO brains. Just walkers so far. They also warned of Crushers. You seem to assume by your posts that the walkers need brains to work. Also, walkers don't run... there's a reason they are called walkers. They can however do a sorta fast limp. Anyways, Brains are highly developed mutants. The walkers would act a lot smarter, use strategy, and there would be more, and probably more dangerous mutants. Plus, brains wouldn't let themselves be seen so easily. And they wouldn't be killed by you guys so easily. This is the first mission. Things need to build up more. So for this mission, walkers and crushers. Enough walkers can kill you if you're not careful (enough being 15-20) and eventually they become a real problem. Just... try to make things interesting till then. But for now, no brains were killed, and also, don't try to be invincible. They would've used normal soldiers for a mission like this, the way you guys are making it so easy. Pay more attention plz. My character will make that clear right now. Also, arangondom, what jets are you talking about? Please, don't try to change things like that. You can do anything you want involving the mission, but if you guys (including those of you who said there we brains) try to change things, even if you "didn't know" that there weren't brains cuz you didn't see the mission statement, I will have to give those of you who are doing this strikes. I hate that idea, but this is the last warning before strikes start. If your excuse is that you didn't know or see, then I will say to you this: "Ignorance of the law is no excuse." (Those of you who are thinking about doing something that you think is bad but might not know is illegal until after you do it, I hope this helps you too xD )

 

IC: Darren looked at the other incoming soldiers. "Well, what are you guys waiting for? Stop messing around, there's probably at least 10 more walkers throughout the town and buildings for every one we've already faced. So I would suggest that you stop acting like a bunch of hopped up psycho's, and start thinking like soldiers. We're here to complete a mission, and nothing else. Now, I figured you guys would want to have some fun killing walkers, so let's move out. Besides, there have been a few reports of crushers hidden in the town. This is the first of many missions, so try not to die from your ridiculousness." Darren was enraged. He usually had no problem with weird people or even one's who he did not like. But these people were acting like little kids in a dreamworld where they could do anything they wanted, and everything would end up fine. But it wasn't. This wasn't even close to a dream. It was an absolute nightmare. And these "soldiers" were all under it's influence, asleep. And if they didn't shape up, they wouldn't wake up. Ever. Again. "I'm going to the opposite side of town. We should get some people checking out the buildings, and some going through the rows of roads in between the buildings. If anyone wants to come with me, then come on. But be serious, and spread out. This town is wide enough for each of us to inspect our own area. That way, we can get the mission done sooner.

 

P.S. If 15-20 walkers can kill someone not careful, then 1 crusher can and will definitely kill someone not focused. And even if you are focused, you could still die. You will die if you don't get in some training on walkers too. First Mission = Noobish characters. Try to make things interesting. Even life-threatning. 2 Crushers WILL kill you if you try to take them on alone on your first mission. I want everyone to be able to have a fair share of killing, so work together against crushers.

IC: Cristoff tapped Saber shoulders as he blasted another walker right on the noggin'. He just heard Darren giving out the heads up for the upcoming mission.

 

"Yo, Saber, they've got us rounding up these buildings for mutants. I heard there were Crushers too. Darren's heading over the other side of the town." Cristoff said, then turned his head side to side to check the nearby area, "We should start over at those houses over there. I can give you a heads up view from above when I fly."

 

Cristoff took out his M810 50. Cal Sniper Rifle once again, stashing his ingrams. He checked his wrist watch, and waited for Saber to respond. He observed the area carefully once more, making sure that the walkers were taken care of.

 

"I think we're done here. Those houses need clearing. And watch out for crushers. One of those houses may have crushers waiting to ambush us." Cristoff mouthed off again, setting his sights on one of the nearby houses.

OoC: Soz man, didnt know what the heck was going on in my head, and can Walkers climb buildings?

 

Ic:

Silvia ran towards a small building and quickly jumped up and climbed up the cracks and window seals. Walkers were looking at the bird-like human. Silvia got to the building and saw the Walkerswalking to the other Bi-oids. "5 comming your way Saber!" Silvia quickly grabbed her MPK5 and attatched a small ACOG sight on the top. She aimed at the Walkers and fired mutliple rounds from the SMG toawrds them. 3 dropped dead but the other Walker ran off into a lasrge buidling. "Who rekons we should chase that thing? If we do I'll take the roof!" She than looked towards the Bi-oids on the ground. "Ha, dont use up all your energy guys, Iam guessing more is comming." Silvia put the SMG around her back with the strap than ran and jumped off the building. She lifted from the fall with her wings and glided around the town. A loud screech was heard by the Bi-iods. Silvia tried to block her ears but lost flight. "sheet!!!!" She landed on the ground, knocking her out.

saber ran towords silvia as a crusher started to get close to her. "Cristoff i need back up now!!!" he said as he grabed silivia and moved her outta the way. he quickly dicthed his pistols and pulled out his brass kunckles agian. he ran at his top speed jumping over the slower mutant and started to unleash a wave of punches and kicks while it tryed to turn and attack saber. saber could feel adrenilin pumping through him and he knew if he got hit by this thing he was in big trouble. each time the crusher tryed to attack saber he would simiply jump far back then circle around at top speed and begian to attack. problem was how long could he keep this up without help?

Cristoff saw Saber running over at Silvia. He was confused at first, then he heard Saber say something about backing him up. He set his sights to where he was pointing at, and true enough, a red skinned mutant with an incredibly massive arm stood near Silvia, inching closer and closer.

 

He saw Saber take on one crusher, assaulting it with punches and kicks, but the mutant seemed unaffected. Cristoff aimed his sights clearly at the Crusher's head, but the mutant's constant movement and the high-winds makes the shot very very difficult, even for the best marksman. Add the fact that Saber's erratic movements are very fast, and he could end up hitting his squad mate. Cristoff focused his aim carefully. If the head's difficult, let's see how tough that big arm of yours is, mister mutant.

 

Cristoff focused on the massive hand with ease. Its relatively bigger mass meant it can be easily targeted and the targeting data be easily compensated. He readied his M810 50.cal Sniper Rifle, then without warning, fired three consecutive shots.

 

"Saber, look out!" Cristoff shouted at Saber, as three bullets made their way swiftly through the mutant's outstretched arm. The first bullet was enough to create a puncture, but not deep enough. But Cristoff's marksmanship mastery shone in these situation. The next two bullets hit the exact same spot the first bullet punctured, causing a tear, then the third bullet finally made its way through the tough outer skin.

 

The mutant roared and thrashed about as the 50.cal bullet sunk into its arms smoothly. After a few moments, the 50.cal bullet exploded, taking out the crusher's massive arm. However, the crusher's still standing. Incredible. That's already three slugs in, and it still stood up. Such Monstrosity.

 

"Saber, go for it! Finish it off while its arm's gone!" Cristoff said, gliding over to Silvia's side, making sure she's out of range from other mutants.

"you got it!" saber did a backflip to get a little bit of distince from the mutant. then he charge at his top speed of 50mph at the mutant and slamed his right fist right through the crushers head. he then jumped away from the crusher just to be safe. lord knows the thing could be like a gorlillia and not know it was dead. saber ran from the dying mutant over to siliva and started to examine her.

"hey Cristoff what im about to do you cant get mad at me." saber said as he sat silivia up.

he quickly slamed his open left palm into her stomich. causing her to gron and start to wake up. saber let out a sigh of relief and turned to Cristoff. "if your wondering what i did was a techneque i know she'll be in some pain when shes fully up but it was the quickist way to have her regain concness. we can have a beautiful girl like her dying on the battle field now can we." saber said flashing a quick grin at her.

Silvia woke up and saw Saber above her. "Thanks, Now lets kick some mutant arse!" Silvia grabbed her MPK5 and aimed at the dieing crusher. She fired multiple rounds at the Crusher's chest. "Now when is that friggen' helicopter gonna get soem more fuel?!" Silvia was pissed off and than ran towards walkers comming out from somewhere. She holstered her SMG and released her claws. The walkers saw the bird-like humanoid appraoching them and than started to limp run. C'mon now, lets be....friends!. Silvia sliced the arm off one walker that was closer to her. She than grabbed one other walker and broke its neck then pierced the chest with her razor-sharp feathers. More were comming so she jumped up and sent out feathers from her arms. They shot into the heads and chests of the 4 walkers near her. They dropped down dead.

saber wistled as he watched silivia go to work.damn that is one hot killing mechine. saber motioned for chrisoff to watch from above as he started on his own path of destruction. saber noticed though that everytime he killed one mutant five more would appared.

"damn is there an end to these guys they just keep comming back" he said as he slamed his fist through another mutant.

"hey christoff hows things looking from up there?"

Cristoff shook his head at Silvia and Saber. He never favored melee combat, mainly because he didn't have too much talent in it. He hovered above them trying to get a bearing on the situation. He hasn't heard from Darren for a while now, and he's trying to be positive. Surely, delta squad is alright. He thought to himself, scanning the horizon.

 

Somewhere below him, he heard Saber asking him for status report. He quickly did a 360 degree scan. Sure enough, he found a group of walkers on a few blocks away from their position.

 

"Saber, there's a few stragglers 12'oclock from your position. They're only walkers. But I advise caution. Those row of houses might be keeping a sleeper." Cristoff replied, setting his sights along the houses.

 

Something feels off here. He thought to himself.

[Flaring Rose]

Silvia looked around her and saw walkers comming in on their position. "Ill, take them Cristoff." Silvia reloaded her MPK5, and ran towards the walkers. She jumped onto a small building and ran across rooftops, be jumping down and stopping them in their tracks. "Hello guys. Iamg uessing you want to kill us...Thats not onna happen." Silvia fired the rounds from her SMG at the walkers, dropping 2 of them. She hosltered her SMG before releasing her claws. She ran towards the 3 left, slicing 1 in the gut, than doing one upper-cut, breaking it's neck. One other walker grabbed her arm and was about to bite when she bit the mutant first, into the deep veins, suffercating it. Blood dropped from her teeth before seeing her feathers on her arms grow back. Silvia jumped up, and did a backflip, sending out 3 feathers from her arms at the last walker. "Cristoff, their dead, but iam guessing we might be the only ones here..."

Cristoff was about to answer when the house beside Silvia exploded in debris. A gigantic arm suddenly burst out of the rubble, missing Silvia by a couple of inches. Cristoff's eyes widened as he took a closer look through his visor.

 

"Saber! CRUSHER near Silvia! Go help her!" Cristoff shouted from his position, reloading his M810 50.cal Sniper Rifle.

 

In terms of numbers, we're well within bounds to kill it. But with those walkers in place, its going to be harder than the earlier Crusher. Its head will be the key. Cristoff pondered deeply.

 

"Saber, Silvia, try to keep it busy for a bit. Remember, Give me a clear shot at its head without endangering yourselves. This windy weather and altitude is going to be a pain. I can't go any lower or something might reach me." Cristoff said, cocking his gun. "Show me what you got, baby."

saber sighed and ran towords silivia. "you know slivia i just saved you a few minutes ago if you wanted to get my attation you didnt have to do it agian." saber said as he pulled his broad sword off his back. as he got close the drusher tryed to grab saber but he just jumped out of the way. then running at full sppeds he jumped onto the mutanst arm and ran up it and sliced at the head. then got away before it could attack agian.

"hey big guy whats all that strenght gonna do if you cant hit me." saber said as he landed near silivia.

"Saber, your so funny (sarcasm). Got ya Cristoff, i might be able to kill it but you can have the glory for now..." Silvia looked at the crusher. She looked up at the body than smiled, "Damn!" Silvia saw the arm about to hit her, she quickly dodgd it and hooked onto the Crusher's arm. The arm raised above the head of the Crusher. It looked up at Silvia before opening it's mouth. Silvia clawed her way onto the top of the arm, she grabbed her 45.s and shot into it's mouth. It coughed up and slamed it's arm againts the ground. Silvia rolled off and holstered her 45.s before seeing walkers limping towards Cristoff. "Cristoff! look out behind you!!" Silvia than turned around and ran up the arm of the crusher, onto it's head. Silvia sliced the head through the skin until it reached the bone. The Crusher screamed with an eary screech, before grabbing Silvia and throwing into a building. She face-planted on the building, but didnt get injured. "Son of a jabroni"

"hey silvia you ok." saber said as he ran to her side. he turned and howled at the crusher.

"you know your messing with the wrong wolf." saber reached into one of the pockets of his vest and pulled out what looked like trip wire. "hey silvia hold this." he said as he handed her a small bit. he then ran around the crusher with the wire in hand tying it up and stoping its movements.

"christoff take the shot now while it cant move." saber yelled as the mutant started to pull at the wire.

OOC: Technically, I'm still flying in the air, so walkers won't be able to get to me, unless they suddenly learned to jump, but even then, they're still a couple of distance away from reaching a flying target, with their speed and all.

 

IC:

Cristoff shook his head for a while, trying to focus on the target's head. The crusher was flailing wildly at Saber and Silvia, which makes it harder to target. He adjusted his aim for a while, then increased the zoom of the scope. He measured the winds through his sense of touch, then aimed carefully.

 

"Saber, hold it still!" Cristoff shouted, then recalibrating his aim.

 

At that point, Saber managed to stop the Crusher's movement, but the thin wire was only going to be keeping it at bay for a while. It was the moment of truth. Cristoff aimed for the forehead, his trademark spot, then fired away.

 

The bullet travelled fast enough, whistling through the wind. The crusher broke free of the wire, but the bullet was faster. It penetrated the skull in one clean stroke, sending the crusher tumbling away. As it hit a wall, the bullet detonated, taking out the half the crusher's body in the resulting explosion.

 

"That's two crusher in a day, and I hope we don't see one anytime soon. We need to find Darren now. I haven't heard from his team." Cristoff said, hovering above Saber and Silvia.

Silvia saw the crusher fall down dead. "Where the helicopter go?" Silvia looked up and didnt see it. "It gone?" Silvia scractched her feathery arm before climbing onto the building with Cristoff. "Hey Cristoff, whats the deal with Saber?" She wispered before looking into the distance and seeingwaht seemed to be a large fence. A large fence, here? That is weird. Than Silvia sat down and ate some of the rashions that she kept on her. "This is not fun for anybody. We arnt even in Africa yet." Silvia laid back and looked at the sky. Clouds of all shapes were just floating in the endless blue. Beautiful birds all flew around the town but the pretty ones flew in the sky. A sea for birds... she thought before seeing more birds, but not just the pretty ones. Big large birds. "Crows?" The were squaking and flying away from the large fence.

saber watched as silvia got onto the roof top after the crusher died. wow shes hot... damnsaber shook his head for a second. im in a war zone i need to focus. saber jumped up on to the building following slivia.

"hey guys i know you two can fly but can you at least wait for me next time. i may be able to run fast but im not to intrested in trying to grow wings." he said as he walked up to the two.

"anyway i think we should just focus on clearing our part of town and leave the others to their work. as for the helacopter i dont think it made it."

[Battery Boy]

Sevrin ran up onto the roof of a building and started to pick of walkers one by one with headshot after headshot. all went bad when he aimed for a walker and missed hitting something in the alley that let out a loud roar, and then the house beside of him exploded. "Great two Crushersssss at one time well time to join my unit." Sevrin said as he jumped down from the roof with his battle ax in hand nailing a Crusher in the head. "If I'm going to die I'm taking one of you with me." Sevirn shouted as he pulled the blade out of the Crushers head. While at the same time being knocked to the ground by the other Crusher. Both Crushers were about to attack him when he barred his fangs. "Good bye. I'm coming my old freinds" said Sevrin as they crushed Sevrins head while Sevrin injected them both with a deadly poision causing them to fall over and die. then Sevrin opened his eyes and stood up cracking his neck. "I'm going to need ssssurgery after that one. Well old freindssss I geuss it'ssss not my time to die." Sevrin said as he turned and put away his battle axe and pulled out his shotgun.
