Prologue

 

“Welcome, you are now officially a member of T.I.M.E., you’re badge number is 2309…..” Time Investigators & Memory Enforcers is a crime unit established in the end of the 25th century, since then, we almost have a crime-free world. T.I.M.E. prevent 60% of the crimes that will happen, and change the past of 30% of the crime that already happened, yet there still 10%, that 10% cost me my parents. My name is Kronos, and I joined to find the truth.

 

 

“…..you must report to the leader of squad 13 immediately” All T.I.M.E. members are connected to the main computer system, Nyx, with a device that is attached to the brain thru the ear, I just got mine installed and it is starting to give me a head-ache.

 

 

“This is your squad leader, Roman” Nyx was introducing me to my captain when I arrived at building no.13

“Thank you Nyx” I said “Hi, my name is….”

“Aither Kronos” he interrupted “I’ve been waiting for you, walk with me I’ll show you your room”

“Each squad have 5 primary ranks, all of which had different training and have equal authority except the leader, that’s me, my name is Roman, But you already know that. As for the other four, first we have the Investigator, what he do is clear, he figures out the criminal. Then we have the Mind Reader, his job is to scan memories and create time portals. Third is your turn, as an Enforcer you use the scanned memory to travel to the past and prevent that crime, but when you do, the present will change, and that when the Synchro do his part, he fuses the current memories with the alternative one, thus, he is the most important rank.”

 

“Get some rest” he said when he dropped me off in my room “tomorrow is a big day for you, there will be a welcome party, and you will meet all of squad 13.”

 

 

I couldn’t sleep that night; actually I couldn’t sleep well in the past five year, every night since they died I waited for the day I join T.I.M.E. and really know what happened that day. I promise I will find out who took you from me.
