Well I made Clair some of my patented Super Charaters ©, she said they were very helpful so I think the inclusion of two characters very easy to add helped her out of her writers block.

Like how I once helped Zex out of his writers block by writing a prolouge of YCManga (he said it was VERY good for a shot in the dark).

While you two discuss Writer's Block, I'll post the next chapter.

I feel like I got Lance horribly wrong. ._.

And it feels like I rushed everything into the situation it's in right now.

Gah, I don't like this chapter. And since I've gone over the character Limit, I'm going to have to post them on different pages/posts now.

Here:

[spoiler=Chapter 6]

-- Chapter 6: Stand up! ---

After the duel between Lance and J, everyone regressed to their daily routines. An embarrassed J walked back to the Teacher's Lounge with Larry and X-L. The other students went their separate ways and left Arimi... alone.

Oh dear lord, what have they done?

-At Slifer Dorms...-

Lance was in his new room, unpacking various items from different suitcases as Arimi peeked at him from the hallway.

"Hi!" Arimi greeted. Lance paused and looked up in surprise, smiling.

"Hello," he nonchalantly replied, continuing to unpack.

"So... you're Lance, right? I'm Arimi," Arimi said brightly, coming into his room without an invite.

"Nice to meet you then," Lance murmured, a bit peeved at the outgoing girl who had entered his private quarters.

"Um... you're not very cheery, are you?" Arimi asked him, a puzzled and slightly hurt look upon her face.

"Not really..."

They both then stood quiet, awkwardness building between them. Arimi decided to break the silence first, like she always did.

"...Oh! Hey! You're next to my room! We could be Slifer buddies!" Arimi cheered happily, revved up again. Lance stopped folding his black jacket and looked up at her in disbelief. Slifer 'buddies' with HER?!

"Yeah! That's it! We're buddies and that's final!" Arimi declared, not waiting for a response from her new acquaintance. She paused and looked at him with innocent eyes.

"...You don't have to be my Slifer buddy if you don't want to. I'm just trying to make a few friends here..." Arimi looked down at her shoes guiltily.

"I guess I'll be your Slifer buddy then," Lance replied, feeling slight pity for his fellow Slifer.

"Really?!" Arimi asked, surprised, the smile creeping back onto her face.

"Well, you don't seem as bad as everyone says. So, why not?" Lance said softly, still unpacking. His voice remained level, and his lack of eye contact was starting to irk Arimi.

"...How come you're not saying that to my face then?" she asked, but Lance didn't answer her query this time, folding up another coat instead. Putting the coat into his cramped Slifer closet, he stood up and gazed at Arimi. She was about to restate her question when Lance cut her off.

"...You really don't need to know," Lance muttered evenly. He gently led Arimi out into the hall and closed the door behind her.

"What's his problem...?" Arimi asked, rubbing her head in confusion.

-Good question, what IS Lance's problem? ...Who cares, next day anyway.-

"C'mon Drake! Use this card!"

The Obelisk Blue shakily held out a card towards the reclining person in question. The rest of Drake's posse leaned in, waiting for their leader's opinion. Drake snatched the card, but almost immediately threw it to the floor.

"Hell no. I have no place for Neo-Spacian Flare- whatever the hell the rest of his name is," Drake growled, leaning back in his seat. The owner of the card looked crestfallen.

"It's Neo-Spacian F-"

"I don't care!" Drake yelled at the student, nearly knocking him off his feet. The Obelisk Blue slowly sat down, rubbing his eyes while clutching his favorite card.

"...Are you crying?" Drake asked incredulously, glancing at the boy.

"Naw! I just got something in my eye!" The student responded, blushing a bit at being called out.

"Idiots," Jane muttered, seated in the front row on the right side of the classroom.

"Well they aren't that stupid," Casey replied defensively, sitting next to her Obelisk friend. As usual.

"Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab in Drake's deck, how would that work?" Jane turned towards Casey, annoyed.

"You see half of the decks working with splashable cards and whatnot today, don't you?" Casey stated, folding her arms. Jane was ready with a retort.

"Neo-Spacians aren't splash-"

"Grand Mole," Casey said simply. Jane fell silent.

"I'm right, aren't I?" Casey teased, poking Jane in the shoulder.

"Shut up," Jane said, peeved. She couldn't help smiling a bit, and Casey picked up on this rare occasion.

"Oh, ouch. Jane, that really hurts as a friend..." Casey said, in a voice dripping with sarcasm.

"I said s-" Before Jane could finish her threat, Arimi burst into the classroom. Drake winked at his posse and cupped his hands around his mouth.

"Welcome to class, noob. Your seat is over there with the newbies who are noobish, yet better than you in every way. Please honey, have a seat," Drake jeered as the loyal Obelisk students around him started breaking out into laughter.

"I. Am. Not. A. Nooooooob!" Arimi yelled, in protest, making Casey jump.

"Yes you are," Drake sneered, flicking a piece of dust at her.

"No I'm not!" Jane rolled her eyes. Not again...

"You're not then," Drake said softly, winking to his comrades.

Arimi smiled triumphantly. "I am, and that's final!" she screamed.

All the Obelisk students burst into laughter when Arimi shouted the last line of the argument, and she quickly realized her mistake. She ran up the stairs to friendly territory, hiding her face.

"H-hi sis..." Arimi greeted her blue-haired sister without her usual brightness. Jane frowned.

"Don't let Drake get to you. He's an ass anyway," she advised, taking her sister's hand.

"But I don't wanna go everyday like this!" Arimi cried, close to losing her cool.

"Calm down. Just think to yourself, 'what am I going to do about it?'" Casey soothed, laying a hand on Arimi's shoulder. As if charged with inspiration, the Slifer girl brightened again.

"...Ah ha!" Arimi had an idea, with a lightbulb above her head. Casey just stared at it, a small smile on her lips.

"Oooh. Nice trick. Make another." Casey teased as Arimi stomped her way up to Drake, who looked positively irked.

"What is it NOW nub?" he snarled at her. Arimi looked at him fiercely and spoke fighting words that nobody expected to hear.

"Drake! I wanna duel you!"

There was total silence for a few minutes, then every Slifer, Ra, and Obelisk student in the room except for Casey and Jane burst into laughter.

"Haha! Good one!" Drake complimented, wiping tears of mirth from his eyes.

"I'm serious!" Arimi shouted but the crowd laughed even harder. Arimi whirled on Drake, fire in her eyes.

"Heh, if you're laughing so much, your deck must be a laughing stock." Arimi sneered. Drake stopped chuckling and scowled.

"Nub. Let's be serious here. I would destroy you," Drake simply explained, elbowing various members of his posse, who nodded up at Arimi.

"Put your cards where your mouth is!" Arimi hissed.

"Oooooh!" The other students all said in union. The tension in the spacious arena made it feel about ten times smaller.

"Fine," Drake acquiesced. "We'll meet in the Duel Arena at night."

"N-night...? But isn't that against the rules?" Arimi asked, dropping her cool act momentarily.

"The teachers don't care at this point. Plus, it's me against you. Why would they bother stopping a three second duel?" Drake reassured her, drawing chuckles from his fanbase. Arimi couldn't come up with anything to fire back, so she just walked over to her front row seat on the left side of the classroom. All of her friends ran over to her.

"Are you insane?!" Jane asked Arimi, slapping her hands down on her sister's desk angrily.

"No! ...I think." Arimi nervously replied. "What am I gonna do, sis?! I tried to stand up for myself and now I'm gonna look like an idiot!"

"Relax," Casey murmured to both of them. Arimi looked at her with interest, but her sister whirled on the redhead.

"Relax?! How can I re-" Jane was cut off.

"Casey said relax! So do it! She has a plan!" Scarlet seemingly had materialized behind Casey.

"Where'd you come from?" Jane asked, shocked. Her blue eyes probed Scarlet for answers.

"That's not important!" Scarlet shot back, giggling. She and Casey sat down at the desks next to Arimi. Casey grinned as her friend's sister pulled out her Cyber Deck. She leaned in to help.

"First off, you just need the cards regular Cyber decks would run. Here, lemme see." Arimi gratefully handed her the deck.

"...Why do you have Machine King in here? You're not swarming," Jane muttered, looking over the cards with Casey.

"Where's Power Bond?" Scarlet asked from behind them. Arimi looked up quizzically.

"Power who?"

The group did a synchronized facepalm, and Jane threw her head into the desk in front of her, cursing her sister.

"You're doing it wrong," Scarlet informed Arimi, who looked mollified.

"Who's doing what wrong?" Tom slid into a seat next to Scarlet, easing into the conversation. "I saw Drake and his gang laughing and then I heard Arimi's name, so I decided to get the answer from you guys. What happened?"

"Arimi's gonna duel Drake!" Scarlet answered brightly, looking at her admiringly.

"I see why they're laughing." Tom responded evenly. "So, why did I see all of you face-"

"She didn't know what Power Bond was," Jane replied, shaking her head.

"You're doing it wrong," Tom told Arimi, who blushed.

"Here." Suddenly, Jane extracted a Power Bond card from her pocket and flicked it towards Arimi.

"Why are you carrying that? You don't run Machines." Casey asked Jane, confusion on her face.

"I knew something like this could've happened, so I bought this if she needed it."

"So you really are sisters if you can sense whenever she's going to make a fool out of herself." Tom explained.

"She's not going to make a fool out of herself." Jane replied, casting an icy glare towards Tom.

"Yes I am..." Arimi spoke from her desk with a depressed tone, her head in her arms.

"Hey! Chin up, back straight!" Scarlet commanded as Arimi looked up at her, surprised.

"You're going to kick Drake's ass! If you don't believe that you will, you won't win!" Scarlet encouraged her loudly. People were staring.

"Y-yeah..." Arimi managed. However, she let out a little cry when Scarlet picked her up by her uniform.

"I can't hear you!" she bellowed.

"Yeah! I will kick his ass!" Arimi yelled.

"Ya hear that Drake?! She's gonna kick... your... ass!" Scarlet yelled across the room. People stared blankly at the duo. This was a study time, not a motivational festival.

"Shaddup," Drake replied simply, rolling his eyes. For the rest of the day, the group of friends all helped Arimi with her deck.

...Ten o'clock PM finally came rolling around. The entire crew, sans Arimi, walked into the Duel Arena and saw Lance already sitting in the stands, alone in the eerily empty arena.

"Lance?" Tom asked, surprised as he walked up to his seat. "Why are you here?"

"Arimi asked me to come," Lance muttered simply. Tom dropped the subject as Casey stepped forward.

"I don't think we've met. Nice to meet you," Casey introduced herself with confidence.

"N-nice to meet you..." Lance responded shakily, not used to so much... friendliness.

"Hey! Stop blushing! Casey is mine and mine only!" Scarlet yelled at Lance, hugging the redhead protectively.

"What's her problem?" Lance asked Tom.

"You don't wanna know." Tom replied slyly, taking a seat next to him. Casey and Scarlet sat behind the two and Jane sat on the edge of the bleachers, next to her red-haired friend.

"So... where is she anyway?" Lance asked Jane.

"She said that she'd be late," she replied coolly.

"Funny. I think Drake's here because his idiots are loose," Casey coldly informed them as Drake's posse hurriedly filed into the stands opposite the group's.

"Oh, if it isn't Jane and Casey. Listen, I didn't get to ask this in class, but I could I get your numbers?" one of the students asked, with a mixture of bravado and apprehension in his voice. Before Casey and Jane shot him down, Scarlet stood up from her seat angrily.

"Back off!" Scarlet took a tennis ball out of her pocket and threw it at the student. It smacked him in the forehead as he fell down.

"Ouch!" the Obelisk cried, clutching his face.

"Someone is very defensive," Lance commented evenly to Scarlet, who blushed, breathing heavily.

"Now now, Scarlet, I was going to say no anyway," Casey reassured her as she sat down.

"Still! I want to kill anyone who tries to take you!" Scarlet responded, a maniacal glint in her eyes.

"Don't worry. I won't let anyone take me," Casey giggled at Scarlet as she looked down. Tom and Lance sat in total silence, glancing at Scarlet, than at each other.

"...Odd bird is odd," Tom whispered to Lance, who smiled.

"What'd you punks say?!" Scarlet stood up again, hands on her hips.

"Nothing!" they immediately replied, covering their heads.

"Aw. The nub isn't here yet?" Drake said as he casually walked into the arena from the right doors.

"She's late." Jane answered coldly.

"Ah! So she did chicken out!" Drake smirked triumphantly.

"No. She didn't. And you better hope to God that she shows up, otherwise, I'll kill you myself." Jane warned as Drake stepped back a bit, genuinely scared.

"Oh damn, noob best show up..." Drake murmured, his eyes darting towards the doors. They opened, and Arimi burst in.

"So you decided to come! Good!" she yelled.

"She didn't trip?" Tom asked, surprised. Jane rolled her eyes at him.

"Phew. She came..." Drake said, relieved, eyes focusing back on the upcoming Duel.

"Huh? Why are you-"

"No reason!" Drake cut Arimi off as he lifted up his right arm with a red-ish black Duel Disk and an orange sphere embedded in it. Arimi lifted up her boring, plain Duel Disk with the same red sphere implanted in the core.

"Duel!"

Arimi: 4000 LP

Drake: 4000 LP

Arimi drew six cards while Drake drew five. "You're first then, I guess." Drake told her, sneering. You're going to end up being grateful for this first strike...

"I Set two cards and Summon Cyber Dragon Zwei!" Arimi declared as Zwei was Summoned in front of her two Spell/Trap Cards. "Done." [1500/1000 Level 4]

"My turn." Drake drew and grinned toothily. "Now then, I'll Summon Gladiator Beast Darius!" A horse-like monster appeared, wearing orange-plated armor and steel chains. [1700/300 Level 4]

"Gladiator Beast?" Arimi asked, in surprise and fear.

"Go!" Drake commanded as Darius jumped in front of Zwei, raising his chained arms.

"Ah!" Arimi yelled as Zwei was destroyed by a single punch from Darius. (Arimi: 3800 LP)

"I activate Damage Condenser!" Arimi yelled as she discarded a card. By doing so, her Trap Card was flipped face-up. "I can Special Summon a monster with ATK equal to or less than the damage I just took. So I'll Special Summon Cyber Valley!" A serpent-like machine appeared in front of Arimi as her Trap Card disappeared. [0/0 Level 1]

"So?" Drake laughed. "Since it's the end of the Battle Phase, I can tag Darius out."

"Tag...?" Arimi asked, confused again.

"In other words, I'm returning Darius to Special Summon Gladiator Beast Laquari!" Drake announced as Darius jumped up and disappeared into a red light in the floor. A ferocious, flaming tiger jumped out in his place. It let out a thunderous roar, and Arimi stepped back in fear. [2100/400 Level 4]

"Wait, what? How come it has a power of 2100?" Arimi asked, confused, peering at Laquari's original stats on her Duel Screen.

"When Special Summoned by the effect a of Gladiator Beast, Laquari's original power becomes 2100." Drake explained halfheartedly.

"I Set two cards and end right there," he finished, grinning widely. "Mercy, nub?"

This is bad... how is Arimi going to deal with the overpowering Gladiator Beasts with her Cyber Dragons?

Let's find out next time on Dra-

...

Yugioh.

I loved the chapter. I hope that her deck can handle the GBs that I know nothing about. Really. this will be the first time I have seen the Gladiator Beasts in action.

Gladiator Beasts are Tier2 I think.

It'd be a miracle if she won.

...

Wait a minute. Anime logic. Meta has no meaning here.

Then hurry up and write them. DX

Don't rush me and Clair. D:

Excatly. If you created a deck that had nothing but spell cards in it, and let the main character use it against the main villain guess who would win. The main character of course.

I lol'd hard@this part.

Also, I kinda' expected Drake to use Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon.

Srsly, his name is Drake, and he even has a Dragon-looking Duel Disk.

But ehh, main charactor vs Gladiator Beasts is still pretty lulz :3

Actually, the Duel Disk is the color of a monster Summoned in the next chapter.

And blame Yankee. Lance stole Disaster. D:

She's facing Tier1 and Tier2.deks in this Fanfic. Which is going to be more lulz.

Thanks guys.

Ooh! GB's!

Can't wait to see how this will turn out. And the duel between X-L vs ...???

Will that take place soon?

Good chapter again. And keep on saying you do bad, cuz I find it that when you think a chapter is good, then it's actually bad. If ya think it's bad, then it's really good. That kinda happened with Star Wars.

I thought Cyber dragon was a pretty high tier?

Cybers are somewhat slow. Depending on what you get.

I'm not a TCG Expert' date=' but I would atleast call them Tier2.5 or Tier3.
