does chapter 6 mention neo-spaciains becuase everyone has one in their deck? or is it becuase my character has grand mole in it? lol. and why is my character starting to go wimpy?...I'll have to look over my app and edit it. oh and after printing the chapter 6, a total of 45 pages now if spaced right, and that includes the prologue but wait, it's missing a cover! lol. *sigh* it just feels like my character is going astry from his actual bio. also notcied spelling errors in chapter 6 as well.

I'd also like to add to the character profile as well but I'll do that later on tomorrow or thursday when school is done. have ACT tomorrow, and Work Keys test thursday but thursday is turned to a half day then still have to go back to school friday like a normal day....school scheduling is wack. And I'd really like to know what my character was hiding from chapter 3 (page 22 when I have it set on microsoft word.) I can also help with grammatical errors while I'm editing the profile of my character some. I'll take out the teacher bit as well to add space for the edit since my character isn't going to be a teacher.

"Tch..." Arimi looked disgusted, glancing at her draw and adding it to her hand without a word.

 

"What? Speechless?" Drake asked her mockingly.

 

"Then again, I would be too!"

 

"Shut it!" Jane yelled out from the stands, pale and furious.

 

"No, you! Don't yell at me, she's the one who wanted to do this! So shaddup, sit down, and stay tuned to 'Drake's Nublet Owning Hour'!" Drake shot back fiercely. Casey pulled Jane down into her seat, a worried look upon her face.

 

"He's right, you know. Arimi decided to do this, so let her deal with it," Casey whispered to Jane, who immediately opened her mouth in protest.

 

"But..."

 

"No 'but's! Arimi! Kick his ass!" Scarlet ordered from behind Jane as the young Slifer extracted a card from her hand.

 

"I set a card and end my turn," Arimi stated simply as the card appeared the back row of her side of the field, gently pulsing in its holographic nature.

 

"Nothing? As I thought..." Drake rolled his eyes as he drew.

 

"I Summon Gladiator Beast Darius again!" he declared as Darius materialized next to Laquari. "Now, take out that pitiful dragon thing!"

 

"I activate Cyber Valley's effect! I end the Battle Phase by removing Cyber Valley from play! That's not all either, 'cause now I can draw a card!" Arimi cried triumphantly. Cyber Valley transformed itself into a shining, metallic wall, successfully blocking the attacks of the Beast. When Darius finally relented in its assault however, Cyber Valley disappeared from Arimi's field.

 

"I'm done," Drake stated confidently..

 

"My turn!" Arimi announced, drawing a card from her Disk. Damn it! I can't get by his stupid Beasts!

 

"I control no monsters on my field, so I can Special Summon Cyber Dragon!" Arimi yelled. A blast of white, dazzling light hit the arena floor and Cyber Dragon came flying out in a flash of metal and ferociousness. Arimi smiled.

 

"Now! Attack Darius!" Cyber Dragon fired a yellow blast at him. [2100/1600 Level 5]

 

"I activate a Trap! Waboku!" Drake hurriedly punched his Duel Disk, and a Trap Card flipped up. Three blue-robed women appeared, forming a golden light barrier between Drake and Arimi's Cyber Dragon. "Until the end of this turn, monsters I control can't be destroyed and I take no Battle Damage!"

 

"Damn!" Arimi cursed, making everyone flinch. They had never heard her curse before.

 

"Not done yet! Now, since Darius was involved with battle, I return him to my hand!" Drake shouted proudly.

 

"Huh?! Since when?!" Arimi asked, baffled. The Gladiator Beast had another dangerous ability?

 

"Since now!" Drake laughed as Darius jumped into a red light and reappeared in Drake's hand. "Now, I can Special Summon another Gladiator Beast! Say hi to Gladiator Beast Zerker!" A fireball shot down onto the field next to Laquari, exploding on contact. A flaming behemoth stepped out from the wreckage, fire shooting from its hands. [1800/200 Level 4]

 

"When Special Summoned by the effect of a Gladiator Beast, Zerker inflicts 200 damage for each monster in your Graveyard. Be thankful to God that you only have one!" Drake cackled crazily as Zerker lobbed a flaming rock at Arimi. She screamed as she was engulfed by the the searing heat of the projectile. (Arimi: 3600 LP)

 

"What the hell? How come that effect hurt her body so much?" Jane asked, worry etched into her face.

 

"I'm pretty sure Drake is no Psychic Duelist." Tom added, frowning down upon the scene.

 

"I... I'm done..." Arimi ended her turn, albeit shakily. She patted out a flame on the shoulder of her uniform, wincing.

 

"Hurtin'?" Drake asked as he drew a card from the futuristic Disk on his arm. His eyes lit up, and the entire arena leaned forward expectantly.

 

"I Summon Gladiator Beast Hoplomus!" An armored rhino appeared in enemy territory, encircled by several floating shields. [700/2100 Level 4]

 

"So?" Arimi asked quizzically. "They can't beat Cyber Dragon!"

 

"No, but this card can! I'm fusing them all of my Beasts!" Drake declared, holding up a purple card from his Extra Deck.

 

"Huh?!" Arimi gasped, shocked..

 

"What?" Scarlet yelled fearfully. Everyone was standing, and nobody was moving, their eyes focused on the riveting Duel below.

 

"Damn!" Jane concluded the exclamations as all of the Gladiator Beasts on Drake's field disappeared.

 

"Appear! Gladiator Beast Heraklinos!" A carnivorous beast, looking like a lion-tiger hybrid, appeared in the place of all three monsters, armed with a battle ax and primeval shield. It roared loudly, beating its chest and slashing with its sword. Arimi screamed, frightened by its appearance. [3000/2800 Level 10]

 

"Now! Destroy Cyber Dragon!" Drake ordered, smirking. Heraklinos cantered forward and smashed his ax into the metallic body of Cyber Dragon. The resulting shrapnel from the destruction grazed Arimi's face and arms. (Arimi: 2700 LP)

 

"Guuu..." Arimi moaned, wobbling a bit as she tried to cope with the pain.

 

"Done!" Drake declared. Arimi quickly drew from her Disk.

 

"Ugh... I..." Arimi groaned when she looked down at her drawn card and saw the gleaming letters of Power Bond. T-This... no... I need more Life Points...

 

"I activate my face-down Call Of The Haunted!" she declared, tucking Power Bond away. Cyber Dragon rose up from a holographic gravestone, active once again. "Then, I summon The Light - Hex-Sealed Fusion!" Arimi continued. A large yellow rock appeared next to Cyber Dragon, golden lights erupting from its surface. [1000/1600 Level 3]

 

"Whazzat?" Drake asked, somewhat surprised.

 

"I can use him as any other Fusion Material Monster I need, so he'll be a second Cyber Dragon. And I'll just Tribute him and my Cyber Dragon for its effect!" Arimi explained happily as the rock began shining brightly and Cyber Dragon disappeared.

 

"Oh damn!" Drake cursed. Casey allowed herself a small smile.

 

"Alright!" Jane and Scarlet cheered, exchanging rare high-fives.

 

"The twin headed dragon appears as its blasts pierce through fate, not once, but twice!" Arimi chanted. "Strike Twice, Cyber Twin Dragon!" The lower body of Cyber Dragon appeared. Then, a thin cord of metal erupted from the lower body and split into two lengthy metal rods, which melted into the shape of twin Cyber Dragon heads. [2800/2100 Level 8]

 

"Shi-" Drake was cut off as Arimi continued, glowing with pride.

 

"Not done yet! I activate Shrink!" Arimi yelled as Heraklinos shrunk to a small size, looking around. [1500 ATK]

 

"Why isn't he using Heraklinos' effect?" Lance asked Tom, who seemed glad that someone liked the card game mechanics as much as he did.

 

"Probably because Drake needs the cards in his hand." Tom answered, proud of his reasoning.

 

Back down at the arena, Arimi shouted to Drake again.

 

"I should also mention that Cyber Twin Dragon can attack twice!"

 

"Damn!"

 

"Evolution Dual Burst!" Arimi called the attack name out loud as the left head destroyed Heraklinos with a light beam pure energy. (Drake: 2700 LP)

 

"You'll lose!" Arimi yelled triumphantly.

 

"Ha! I don't think so! I activate Draining Shield!" Drake smirked as a shield appeared and Drake's Life Point meter beeped gently. (Drake: 5500 LP)

 

"You're late," Arimi mocked him. Drake scowled.

 

"It wouldn't matter when I used it, I still would've taken damage." Drake replied curtly.

 

"I Set a card and end my turn!" Arimi announced, her eyes flashing.

 

"Not bad. Not bad at all!" Drake complimented. His Obelisk posse looked at Arimi with jealousy. Drake had never complimented them.

 

"Odd," Casey murmured to herself.

 

"What's odd?" Scarlet asked, pushing her face up to Casey's expectantly.

 

"Look at Arimi. It's almost like she's a different person. She wasn't like this when she dueled Larry. And she most certainly isn't like this when she's not dueling," Casey chuckled softly.

 

"We just found out something interesting about our little Arimi here."

 

"Go," Arimi ordered coldly as Drake drew his card.

 

"I Set a card and Summon Laquari again." Drake placed a card on his Duel Disk as Laquari appeared on the field in Defense Position. Again.

 

"Nothing. Just as I thought." Arimi mimicked Drake's statement earlier in the duel, shooting a glare his way.

 

"Shaddup. It's your turn." Drake informed, growing irritated as she drew. The hell? Where's the idiot at?

 

"See what's about to happen here? I'm about to win. In about a turn or two," Arimi confidently declared, leering at Drake.

 

"Now that's the kind of sister I wanted to bring out of her," Jane smirked, positively glowing with pride.

 

"She's like your mini now," Casey teased. Jane almost hit her but she ducked reflexively and Jane's rogue hand smacked Tom below them.

 

"Ow!" Tom cried as he rubbed the back of his head in pain.

 

"Aim your punches and make sure they don't head downwards after a miss please!"

 

"Sorry. Stop whining, and take it like a man." Jane ordered, not sorry at all.

 

"It's YOU. How the hell can someone take one of your punches?" Tom replied, mortified. Jane just smiled and leaned back in her seat.

 

Back on the floor, Arimi was poised to attack. Laughing a bit, she uttered the battle chant.

"Evolution Dual Burst!"

 

Both Cyber Dragon heads rose up and blasted through Drake's beast. Drake braced himself as the white beam came arching towards him. He was knocked back and nearly pushed off the platform, but he kept his footing. (Drake: 2700 LP)

 

"Alright!" Scarlet cheered for her new friend. "Keep it up!"

 

"Next turn, I win." Arimi said confidently as she ended her turn.

 

"Dammit!" Drake cursed as he placed his fingers on his deck. He then closed his eyes. C'mon, deck. We can do it. I just need this one good draw.

 

"Saying your prayers before you draw?" Arimi jeered. Drake didn't answer. Everyone leaned forward tensely in their seats as they Drake swiftly drew the card.

 

"Hell yes!" he exclaimed, his eyes lighting up.

 

"Huh?" Arimi asked, her cool act shaken for just a second.

 

"I'm just going to be settin' a card and Summonin' Darius," Drake said lazily as Darius was Summoned in Defense Position.

 

"Nothing again? Fine!" Arimi pointed at Drake.

 

"Final Blow!" The two dragon heads reared up again, ready to strike down the Obelisk foe.

 

"I activate Waboku!" Drake yelled as the three peace-loving mages appeared again, shielding Drake's Life Points.

 

"Tch," Arimi glared at Drake sullenly.

 

"And now since it battled, I'll return it to my Deck to Special Summon Gladiator Beast Secutor." A small creature with blue armor and two horn-like cannons on its shoulders appeared on the field in front of Drake. [400/300 Level 4]

 

"Oh damn," Tom noticed Drake's plan with analytical skill. "He never uses Secutor unless he's done with the duel." Casey bit her lip and turned back to the arena.

 

"I have to admit, idiot. I'm impressed. No Slifer Red loser has ever made me Summon Secutor before," Drake boasted. Arimi just stood there, silent, with a cold look in her eyes.

 

"Doesn't matter now though. You lose my next turn," Drake finished, grinning cruelly at Arimi.

 

"Shut up and play," she shot back, her eyes flashing.

 

"Fine. I'll set a card and finish," Drake muttered, concluding his turn.

 

"Good. Thanks for not wasting my time with any more of your senseless crap."

 

"Crap?" Even Drake had noticed a cold change had overtaken Arimi. Casey and Scarlet exchanged worried looks, while Jane focused completely on the duel at hand.

 

"My turn." Arimi didn't look at the card as she pointed a stern finger towards Drake.

 

"Evolution Dual Burst!"

 

"Haha! Dimensional Prison!" Drake activated his recently set card as Cyber Twin Dragon dissolved into a purple substance. "Oh wait! They still battled, didn't they? I should mention that Secutor, when Special Summoned by a Gladiator Beast, Special Summons TWO when he tags out!"

 

"What?" Arimi looked rattled, but managed to keep her cold attitude in place.

 

"C'mon! Gladiator Beast Bestiari and Laquari!" Laquari appeared on the field again, accompanied by a green, bird-like beast with a dark green beak and large wings. [1500/800 Level 4]

 

"When Special Summoned by the effect of a Gladiator Beast, it has to destroy a Spell or Trap. Since neither of us has one, I can't destroy anything."

 

"I set a card and end my turn," Arimi stated simply. Inside her mind though, wheels were clicking. It's useless, my set card is Mirror Force. If he attacks, I can blow his monsters out of my way! And since he has no more Traps, I can Summon the Zwei in my hand and use Limiter Removal for game!

 

"My turn," Drake smiled, not even bothering to touch his duel disk.

 

"Huh? Draw!" Arimi commanded angrily.

 

"Don't need to, nub." Drake replied smugly. "I'll use Bestiari and Laquari for a contact fusion."

 

"Again?" Lance asked, turning to Tom, who looked as if a weight had just crushed him.

 

"Damn it. She lost." Tom muttered to them all, putting his head in his hands.

 

"No, she didn't!" Jane protested vehemently.

 

"Yes. She did. The last turn of of the duel is here," Casey sadly informed Jane, the truth dawning upon her as well. Scarlet clutched Casey, scared and depressed at the melancholy words flying around her. Jane refused to acknowledge Casey's prediction, her icy eyes trained on the duel. Come on, sis. You can still win!

 

"The very whirlwinds of the planet roar with power as they all form into one being that controls it all! Blow 'em away! Gladiator Beast Gyzarus!" Drake chanted. Laquari and Bestiari rose into the air together and unified themselves in a green whirlwind that almost blew Arimi off her feet. When the winds had subsided, there stood Gyzarus, suited with black colored armor and red gems. [2400/1500 Level 6]

 

"So what?!" Arimi and Jane yelled at the same time. Tom just shook his head.

 

"Gyzarus can destroy up to two cards on the field!" Drake explained, enjoying the sight of Arimi paling, her cold act slipping.

 

"Know where you stand!" Drake screamed. Gyzarus launched itself into the air at Drake's battle cry.

 

"Fly far away! Gladial Whirlwind!"

 

Two green wind vortexes shot out of Gyzarus's wings and knocked Arimi to the edge of the platform. (Arimi: 300 LP)

 

"Now I can tag him out for two others! One of the other Gladiators and Zerker!" Drake explained, the final point of his plan coming to fruition.

 

"Zerker?!" Jane asked, her face paling. "But that means..."

 

"When Special Summoned by the effect of a Gladiator Beast, you lose!" Drake cackled as Zerker lobbed another flaming stone at Arimi, knocking her off the platform and down the stairs, where she lay in a defeated heap. (Arimi: 0 LP)

 

Scarlet, Jane, and the rest of the crew were completely surprised. Even after Arimi's amazing comeback, Drake still managed to wrap up the duel effortlessly and claim his victory.

 

"Learn the difference between our power. Then maybe I might give you another ass kicking!" Drake gloated, standing over Arimi. He turned around and looked at the other Obelisks in his loyal group. "C'mon!" he ordered, and they eagerly followed him, giving their leader high fives and slaps on the back. Jane ran down to Arimi so she could help her get up.

 

Arimi took in a shaky sigh as she turned her head away from her sister in shame.

 

"I lost..." she said, in a tear-jerking and innocent tone. "I thought I could win... I really did, sis... but..." Tears began streaming from her eyes and Jane hugged her, rubbing her back reassuringly.

 

"It's okay. You did your best. That's fine with me," she whispered.

 

Lance, Tom, and Casey were still sitting in the stands, shellshocked at the victory, while Scarlet ran out the door, in evident pursuit of something. They all idly watched her leave.

 

"Drake... his deck is just as tricky as I remember." Casey broke the silence uncomfortably.

 

"Tricky?" Lance asked, confusion in his eyes.

 

"Drake always pulled Traps out at the correct moments, even if they're late," Tom answered as Lance looked back down, understanding and sadness filling his face.

 

"You think she's gonna get over this?" Lance asked them both sadly, looking down at the two sisters, still hugging.

 

"Probably, but she just suffered her first defeat. And it was Drake, the guy who's been picking on her since before day one..." Casey answered as she got up, leaving Tom and Lance in silence.

 

-Out in the hall-

 

Scarlet ran through the double doors of the arena. She spotted who she was looking for and zeroed in on her target.

 

"Drake!" Drake stopped walking, and turned around to see Scarlet seething mad, up in his face.

 

"You didn't have to say any of that! Why'd you have to be such a jerk?!" she spat.

 

"Because. I don't care about a weakling's feelings. The weak need to go." Drake answered her, an emotionless expression plastered on his face.

 

"B-but..." Scarlet struggled for words, and Drake smirked as Tom walked in through the double doors.

 

"She's right Drake. You still didn't have to say that," he muttered, standing next to Scarlet.

 

"You know why I hate weak people," Drake growled, leaning towards Tom.

 

"Of course I do. But that's not the point," Tom answered evenly, staring into the cold eyes of Obelisk's phenom.

 

"Doesn't matter what the point is. I'll consider apologizing if she actually proves that she's not just a cry baby." Drake finished. He motioned to posse, who followed him like he was a saintly figure that must be praised. Scarlet was positively seething.

 

"That son of a bi-" she started hotly.

 

"Don't Scarlet. Just don't." Tom stopped her before she ran off. Scarlet sighed, and the two of them watched Drake walk off down the hall, the victor for today.

 

...Well. Damn, son. That was cruel. How the heck is Arimi going to deal with this?
