Shishio faced a curious Valor, looking indifferent. He still haven't got over the defeat he suffered for the day. Azrael stopped vibrating, and instead, stood still.

 

"You're annoying, runt. Azrael is with me since I was born. That's all I'm going to tell you. Now," Shishio turned the doorknob to his quarters, "I have to get a rest. My arm will have to be regrown back before fighting those two again. Unless you have anything useful to tell me, disappear from my sight. I am not in the mood to talk."

 

Shishio slammed the door in front of the seeq, clearly not giving any more attention to him. He searched his footlocker for several bottles, and found what he was looking for. A vial of sparkling, bluish liquid stood on his palm. It seemed to glow in the dark. Shishio popped the cap off, and drank the contents, emptying the vial in one gulp.

 

As the last drop poured to his throat, Shishio's eyes glowed ominously, his body shaking violently. Screams of pain issued from his mouth as a clear, bluish liquid exited his left shoulder, encasing his entire left arm, forearm, and finally his left hand. The liquid glowed brighter and brighter, causing Shishio to shake more violently. After an agonizing minute, the liquid was gone, and the severed arm was renewed back to how it look like. The ordeal knocked Shishio out, causing him to fall down to the cold, damp concrete floor of his quarters.

IC: After trying to get his old friend to eat, he gave up, figuring it might actually hurt rather than help. After she was done Vomitting, Nick began to explain what happened. "If you want the short story then. . ." Nick took a quick deep breath so he could explain everything with as little breath as needed. " For starters, After you left the bar, Maxamillios reveled himself to the bar. After the incedent had passed, I left to come see you, Knowing that you were hammered to no end, I realized I could tell you anything and you wouldn't remember. On may way to see you, you were ambushed by one of the 'Black Vipers.' You collapsed sometime during the fight, though i don't know when, and our 'friend' destoyed the clock tower. eventually, me and a Bangaa, by the name of Samuel, decompasitated him, but this didn't faze him, for he severed his arm and destroyed the other quarter of the city. After that i found you and rushed you to the E.R. and you know the rest from there."

 

Nick took a deep breath after explaining everything in one breath. She sat there, Stunned. Nick finished taking his breather and began to speak again. "Yah, I know its a lot to take in, but don't worry about it. Me and some of the other dragoons are taking care of it." He sat down and tried to regain his composure, but he summery of the event ran everything through his head again and reminded him of the pain he had endured the previous night.

"Get me my assassian!" Lord Grendel yelled at a guard. "NOW or it will be off with your head!" The guard rushed off towards Max's quarters. He opens the door to see Max reading a old book.

 

"Sorry to interupt your reading, but Lord Grendel has requested your presence." The guard said meekly. For he knew what happened to the last time someone had interupted his reading for something other than a request from Lord Grendel. He had had his head severed and posted on a stick in the middle of town while his body was eaten by insects half burried in the ground.

 

"Fine what is he calling me for." Max asked. The guard simple shrugged his sholders. Max put a feather in the book stood up and vanished the appearing in the Brefing Room. "So did you get the anwers out of the Yuke yet?" Max asked Lord Grendel.

 

"Yes, the crystal is in Noshawi (No-sha-wee) the city in the sky or better known as the city of the Vieras," Lord Gendel said. "Take the black Chocojabronies I mean Chocobos. Take two comrads just in case of a fight or you need a distraction. Destroy the crystal by all means necisary. Even if you have to destroy the city." Lord Grendel said dismissing Max.

 

As Max was leaving he glanced over at the dragons cage only to see the dragons eatting bits and pieces of Yuke armor.

IC: Valor was surprised about the fact of the blade being with him since birth and was startled by the door being slammed right in front of his face. "Fine, I dont need to know any more details about your blade," Valor said loudly through the door even though he thinks Shishio wasnt listening, "At least not until I need to know more about you." Valor thought in his mind, but before he could walk away towards Lord Grendals' thrown for another mission debriefing he heard a loud thump in Shishios' room. "What was that??" Valor turned around and tried to open Shishios' door. Locked. "Great, now I must resolve to force." Valor back up and charged up his fist with energy and begin his chant. "Let my blood boil, Let my fist burn, Let the object I seek to destroy, Break into pieces! Now, SMASH!" Valor charged at the door with his fist and hit it with full force, making it crumble into pieces. "Damn, that door was easier then I thought," Then Valor looked down and saw Shishio on the floor but with his left arm regrown."Well, at least he isnt dead."

Samuel again awoke from his slumber and tried to sit up in his bed again, this time it didnt hurt and the bandage on his cheek was gone. He must have been fully healed, "Hmmm, I guess i should go check on Nick and Neige," Samuel stood up out of his bed and started to walk towards Neige and Nicks Room, but was stopped by a nurse. "You are healed enough to walk,talk,go to the bathroom,eat,and drink, but you must not do any extreme activity or you might reopen the puncture in your lungs." Samuel nodded his head, acknowledging the nurses' warnings which lead to her moving out of the way and him arriving at Nick and Neiges' Room. "Are you guys ok?? And are we going to plan a counterattack???" Samuel said with inquiry while he took a seat in a chair.

She looked down at the food and pushed it away as she leaned over the rail of the bed to throw up

Neige chuckled lightly "That's the Short Version?" she commented as a Black Cat jumped in through the Open Window and curled up next to Neige "I'm... Lucky to have a Friend like you" she said with a Grin, as she patted his Shoulder "Once I'm Healed... Wanna Train again? Like back... Last Week?" her Voice was back to it's Original Relaxed and Happy Tone. A few second after Asking, she remember that she kept Losing to Nick because of his Superior Jumping, but that was 2 Years Ago,and Neige had a Secret up her Sleeve, of course, she was too Weak to use it at this time.

Lorek finally arrived at the castle. "Come one, mage. You have some papers to fill out." Lorek sighed and went into the castle. He was greeted by an attendant, a Viera. He quickly filled out some papers and went out of the castle. He saw something that caught his eye. The medical wings looked like it had people in it. He always like to look at the sick. He went inside the medical wing and saw a few people, none he could make out at the time because the intense increase of light had given him a little blindness.

Nick looked over at the door, where Samuel was Standing. "Hey, Samuel. How you feeling?" Samuel gave a quick nod. Nick turned back to Neige and answered his question. "Sure, Just as soon as your better, and we solve this mess." Nick smilled, remembering the days before the Black Vipers. Everything was peaceful, And carefree. A time where you wanted to enter the Army, not because you had to.

 

Nick quickly shook himself out of his fantasy and looked at Neige again. "So, You want to tell me what happened before got there. Who was that Samurai? Do you know? I need to know so i can fix this mess up." Again the words came out stronger than he wanted. The last sentence in particular was a little demanding, not the way he wanted to start off a conversation.

Samuel took a deep breath and then said something Nick didnt expect,"Nick... do you ever wonder before your battle if you will ever make it out alive??" Samuel pulled out a small pocketwatch and opened it and looked at a picture of his family which from now had moved far away so they werent in the most warsome part of the world. "Because every time I even go into war practice at the Training Center I wonder if thats what war is really like and if I would ever make it out alive to ever see my family again." Samuel quickly put the pocket watch away and walked over to the window and watched as the sun started to rise.

Neige said as she made a Quick Punch into the Sky, before Quickly falling Asleep, as slowly Sliding back into her Bed. She was Snoring Lightly, and Muttering Random Comments/Quotes shad had heard. He fist was slowly falling to her Side, the Cat curled up by the same side moved out of the Way, and moved onto Neige's Stomach, and was staring ad Nick, as if it was Asking if he would Pet it, after staring for a while, it Meowed and tilted it's head.

Nick nodded at Samuel question. "Yah, Think positive. But to answer your question, yes i do wonder that sometimes. I worry about my Parents and My siblings. I worry about My girlfriend and my friends. . . " With that he looked over at Neige who was snoring happily. He grinned and chuckled before returning to what he was saying. " But i over come these worries with thoughts of the Next day. I focus on the moment and keeping myself alive. I Empower my self with my thoughts of my loved ones. That is what helps win wars, People who will do anything to say alive."

 

He sat down and began to nod off. He shook it off and stood himself back up, now Knowing how tired he was. "Besides, War is nothing but tools of Politicians. 'He who follows others is led blindly.' Keep those words in mind and just focus on staying alive."

Shishio felt the cold touch of the concrete floor kissing his cheeks. He tried to stand up, but he felt extremely weak. He noticed his left hand, looking as good as if it was new. He smiled thinly, carefully trying to sit up.

 

It's gone better than I thought. Last time I drank that elixir, I nearly died. He thought to himself, finally able to sit up straight.

 

He suddenly notices his door broken down, quickly seizing his nodachi. "Who ever did this to my door better have a good reason for me not to slit his or her throat!" Shishio shouted in the halls.

Max was in the training room practicing what he had been reading about. "Okay now..." Max stood there concentrating on his target and shouted "Water Anima!" with that a blast of water blasted from his hand and hit the target. "Yes finally I can use Blue Magic!" Max exlaimed. To bad it's only low level Blue Magic. Max thought to himself while thinking of who he would take with him to destroy the Wind Crystal. He had to pick two other people to not raise suspicions in the town, and just incase they have to blow up the entire city just to destroy the Wind Crystal.

Samuel sat down on a chair next to Nick and started petting the Cat. "Yeah, I should think more positive because if I always think negative I may get less chances to live for another day," Samuel let out a large sigh. "He who follows others is led blindly." I like the ring too that and I will always hold onto those words so I can live for tomorrow." Samuel got up and was starting to walk towards the exit of the hospital but walked back over to Nick. "Before I go I must give you this," Samuel pulled out a piece of paper with writing on it. "It is the address to my training center where I train to become a Master Monk, but I must get back because they are probably already doing role call and they will give me 10+ push-ups for being late without a reason." Samuel started walking off while waving. "I hope we will meet again!" Samuel said shouting.

Meanwhile, at Black Viper HQ, Shishio had woken up and Valor walked into the room with medicinal supplies but dropped them at the shock of seeing Shishio standing up and fully awake. "Wow, your tougher then I thought," Valor went over to him and crouched down near him. "Oh yeah and sorry about the door I heard a thump and thought you died so I busted it down to see if you were ok."

Nick took the note and slid it into a hidden pocket. When Samuel turned to leave Nick went after him. "Samuel hold on." Nick said estatically, He handed him a star with Nick's name on it. "How would you like Royal Training. Best on the continent." He held out the star and presented him the star, The symbol of the royals and of the Royal Acadamies. Samuel stood their for a minute, trying to take in what was going on.

Samuel stood there shocked and amazed at what he was given and started to weep, then he looked Nick straight in his eyes. "THANK YOU NICK! THANK YOU!" Samuel got onto one of his knees and put one fist on the ground. "I promise I will be one of the best White Monks in the entire Royal Army!" Samuel then looked up at Nick with a face full ov tears. "And thank you for answering the promise we made." Samuel stood up and gave Nick a hug.

ooc: Someone please tell me where everyone is, i need to meet up with someone.

Lorek looked overat themedical beds. It was just common soilders, wounded in action. He sighed, he could not help them with anything, he knew no spells for healing. Just spells for destruction. He looked at his hands. These can only destroy. They cannot heal. Lorek thought back to the town. He saw the mayor die in front of his eyes, he could not do anything. No Cure, no Esuna, no white magic. Just the black magic. He sighed and walked off from the castle.

OOC: All the good guys are in the capital, while the bad guys are heading out for the sky city.

 

IC: Nick accepted the hug, but heard boot clacking down the hall. He instictavly looked down the hall to see on of the royal Knights running down the hall. "General Nick, I have a message from the Thirteenth Dragoon Squadron." The Knight said to him, passing him a peice of paper. Nick took the paper and looked at it in horror.

 

" Get you soldiers ready, we depart for the sky city in half an hour. The Wind Crystal is in Danger." Horror took over everyones face as nick shouted these words. The Knight bolted back out the door and down the street. Nick looked over a Samuel. "Samuel, I'm going to need you help in this mission. I give you the rank of Captain. Now follow me" With that nick ran out the door and towards the Castle.

Shishio stared at the seeq with utmost disbelief. He sheathed his nodachi, trying to hide his annoyance as best as he can.

 

"You... Do not... Destroy... Any... Part... Of... MY... ROOM!" Shishio exclaimed, turning his back at the seeq, looking for the vial.

 

The vial stood empty at his feet. Not a single drop remained. My elixir is finally completed. And so is my arm. I have a score to settle with those two from the clocktower. Shishio looked around his room, and found a long object bound by a black cloth and several talismans are stuck around it, sealing some sort of power within.

 

"Seeq, you're fortunate. I have something to do today, and have no time for you. Go now. It seems I have finally found the purpose to use Azrael's true form." Shishio remarked, pushing Valor out of his room, and sealing the doorway with the broken door.

 

"Now, Azrael. I think its time you meet your brother again." He said, unsheathing a violently vibrating nodachi.

 

OOC: I sure hope the climax to this RP does not disappoint.. xD.. I'll try my best to add a certain level of twist to my character without God-modding for a really nice fight in the Sky City..

"VALOR! SHISHIO!" Max yelled as he ran towards Shishio's room. "You two have been selected to go destroy the Wind Crystal do you accept this mission. Just remember Lord Grendel dosen't like the word no. If you refuse you will have your tough ripped from your mouth so you can never speak again Direct orders form Lord Grendel." Said Max as he was standing there whating for an answer from both of them.

Just outside of the Capital of the Kingdom of Rashurai, there was a tall hill which over-looked the city. Atop this hill there was a sturdy oak tree, one that must have been something like four hundred years old. Sitting calmly beneath the sturdy tree's branches was a slightly over six foot tall man. He wore mostly simple blue cloth, but his boots and gloves were made of leather. They were the same color as the cloth and were held on with buckled straps. He wore a belt about his waist made of black leather and with a heavy silvery buckle upon it. Covering the upper portion of his chest he wore a simple steel chest and back plate. His shoulders were protected by ring-like pauldrons which extended outwards from his plated armor in ring-like shapes that allowed great movement of his shoulders, but left the tops of his shoulders open to strikes. Beside him he let the massive, black metal War Hammer that was his preferred weapon lay upon the ground. He gripped it's haft, the lower portion of which was wrapped in soft leather. His hair and eyes were both a deep earthy brown and his face was softly angled though his nose was sharp. This was the twenty-year-old man known as Rayge. He calmly came to stand, bringing his War Hammer up to rest upon his right shoulder, and began to make his descent down the hill. Within fifteen minutes he was within the bustling capital and making his way towards an Inn where he could stay the night. His expression was perfectly calm, and his eyes showed that he had no intention of hurting anyone. However, people still gave him a substantial amount of space if only due to the Hammer he carried and the muscular build which gave testament to his great strength.

 

"This place is so different from home...then again, it is a much larger city."

Rnaki walked into the capital of rashurai still feeling low. as he walked he could feel the weight of the master crystal on his back. he stumbled into a inn so he could get some sleep and on the way slamed into some random guy knocking him over. Rnaki jumped up and looked over his back making sure the crystal was ok. he then looked at who he knocked over and felt scared. he had knocked over a large man who looked pretty intemading with the large war hammer he carryed.

"i am so sorry i didnt mean to knock you over please forgive me." he said stumbling on some of the words.

Rayge shook himself off as he calmly came to his feet, using his War Hammer as a sort of Brace to help him stand. He turned to face the man who had knocked him over, smiling slightly as he saw the faces surrounding him that expected a fight to break out. He shook his head to them before turning his gaze once more to the young man and looking him in the eyes.

 

"It's alright. You didn't need to ask forgiveness, I'm not the type to hold grudges."

 

Rayge placed his free left hand firmly on the other man's shoulder in a friendly sort of way. He let out a sort of chuckle at how terrified the young man still seemed to be, He calmly lead him over to the bar within the Inn and placed an order for two drinks. While the pair waited for their drinks, Rayge turned once more to the young man, a smile still on his face.

 

"By the way, my name is Rayge. Mind if I ask what yours is?"

Rnaki was still a little scared with this guy but he had the master crystal to back him up if he needed it.

"names Rnaki i would say its nice to meet you but well.... no offense but your pretty intimidating." he said. he griped his staff a little harder still a little afraid. "well its that and if you were in my position you would probley feel the same." the drinks arived for the two and Rnaki felt a little outta place consider he never had realy talked with anyone for more then 5 seconds in his life.

Rayge nodded his head slightly, taking his own drink and placing the appropriate payment for the drinks on the counter. He took a long drink from his glass, having set his hammer down on the floor, head down, and allowing the haft to lean against the counter.

 

"I understand...many people have been put off by my size. A lot of them are also surprised to hear that I am a pacifist."

 

After having said this, Rayge took another long drink from his glass and set it down on the counter. Already he had almost half-drained the liquid from the glass. There were stools set up in front of the bar, but Rayge remained standing.

"well its not that theres actually another reason to it." rnaki looked around the bar and thought of something. master crystal please understand im tired of this.

"tell me can i trust you at all cuase if i can then its tme i told someone something important." Rnaki looked at rayge intensaly and stood up and set his staff aside.

yes master crystal i do but im tried of this its time someone else besides me knew.
