Samuel was following Nick with the best of his abilities learned during his training. "Hey, if you dont mind me asking who is this Niege person anyways???" As they were getting closer to the top Samuel started to put on his claws and charging his energy just in case he had to fight, but before he reached the top he stopped following and stopped on top of the last roof before the top of the clocktower and pulled out a picture of his parents. "I will show you my potential and who I really am when the time comes." Samuel said with a slight tear running down his cheek then put it away and ran towards the top after Nick.

 

But as Samuel got up there, he could sense the other mans aura with his skills as a White Monk. "Oh no! This man has incredible power and will probably not stop till he kills us all." Samuel said to himself.

Valor could see the armored Royal Dragoons coming near him so he hide in the bushes behind the bench and waited till they passed. "*Phew!* That was close!" said Valor, then Valor slowly creeped out of the bushes and could see meteors raining from the sky alongst the way near a small hut. "That must be the Yukes House', meaning Max is there!" So Valor took off for the house and ran as fast as he could with his claws already equipped to help Max

"Niege is my oldest friend, Me and her went to the Dragoon Acadamy together." Nick said to Samuel. Nick saw what was happening. If he didn't intervene now, Niege would be torn to shreads. He thought of a way to improvise. "Hey, Viper, Over here. Come get a worthy opponent."Nick said, attepting to taunt him. The samurai looked at him and tried to figure which dragoon to target. Taking the opportunity of Confusion, Nick ran at him and thrust his spear at him, attempting only to off balance him. He wanted to take this one alive for questioning. "Come on, I've seen schools girls fight better that you." Nick said, again trying to taunt him.

Shishio parried the attack with one hand, instantly sidestepping to his left. Azrael sung intensely. He broke into another song, hacking away at the dragoon.

Samuel was terrified by the man who was singing while fighting Nick. "I cant let Nick die!!!" Samuel charged at the man singing, "Rage of the earth,shatter him, Earth Render!" Samuel stopped 2 ft away from the man and slammed his fists onto the roof of the house sending a stone pillar up from below the house. "TAKE THAT!" Samuel said with rage.

Samuel sent a piller of rock from attop the house below. Nick took this momentary distraction and redied himself for his own attack. "Power of the Dragon of Fire, Give me you strength. Fire-Breath." Nick said under his breath. He ran at the Samurai and readied his lance. When the moment was right, Nick lowered his lance and polevaulted over the samurai, breathing a blast of fire from his mouth. He fire rained down from above, burning everything that was in the way, hitting nobody except the strange foe.

Shishio smiled as the dragoon's companion blindsided him with earth render. He dodged towards his left, but he got caught by the blast, wounding his left arm. Blood gushed out of the wound, much to Shishio's pleasure.

 

"That hurt, lizard. But I like that. It means you guys are serious." Shishio dodged another lance attack from the dragon, backflipping towards the wall he sliced, and sheathing his sword.

 

"Now its my turn to give you a little presentation! My blade is the dragon, and the dragon roars! Rend away, Hissatsuken Bushido style, Ryuga!" Shishio shouted, jumping into the air, and unleashing fiery energy from his sword, which he sends crashing down on his two opponents on the clocktower. The clocktower was obliterated on contact with the energy, as Shishio lands gingerly on his feet, blood dripping from his left arm, awaiting for the smoke to clear out..

"Please there is escaping from me." Max disappeared and then reappeared in front of Alderous. Alderous stoped and cast stop and imobilize on Max "You'd be dead right now if I didn't need you for information."

 

Alderous just sat there and laghued saying "ha you can't kill a Yuke we are living armor," he gloated "if you thnik your so though them break my magic and kill me!"

 

"I could break free of your magic but Lord Grendel said not to even have a scratch on that armor."

Samuel barely dodged the fire getting a large burn on his cheek and quickly jumped to the other part of the clocktower. "AH! That stinged!", Samuel put his hand up to the wound and saw his crimson blood shine in the moonlight and then wiped the blood onto his pants. "But now he just casted all that smoke up but its lucky I can clear it with my Aurablast," Samuel took a stance and charged his energy and then he started to glow. "Mind and body harmonize in strength, speed and stamina bond with the soul, clear the air and devaste the opponent, AURABLAST!" Samuel grunted and then let his energy loose forward, the energy thrusted forward at incredible speed clearing the air and barely missing the man. "DAMNIT!!!" Samuel yelled crouched on the roof, breathing heavily. "I still havent mastered that technique."

Valor had arrived at the house and charged in. "I have arrived to help you Max!" But Valor had noticed the Yuke had Max under a spell. "DAMN! The only way for him too let go would be for me to hit him but I cant because Lord Grendal said not to touch him," Valor noticed the Yuke started to look his way so Valor hide behind this large barrel. "Damnit, now i'm stuck until I think of a solution!"

"Pika boo." Nick said. Landing behind the samurai. Befor the blast hit, Nick jumped into the air and readied himself for a jump attack, a key technique for the dragoons. Both of them landed on the Roof of a house down below. Nick thrust both is spear and his Sword into the arms of his enemy, immobalizing him from combat. The fight was finished. The samurai fell to his knees indefeat, his sword by him. The strange think was both of them were still singing. Nick looked at his P.O.W., befor a thought ran through his head. "Niege?"

 

"Samuel, watch our captive. I'll be back in a few." Nick ran off and looked through the wreckage untill he found Niege, buried under a mountian of rubble. He picked her up and carried her back to the captive.

"Okay *gasp* but if he tries to fight back somehow *gasp* I think I will be finished *gasp*" Samuel was close to passing out after using Aurablast, but before he passed out he noticed the man started to smile and was moving very slowly."NICK! *huge gasp* I dont think he's done yet!!!!!" Samuel took a very deep breath and stood up ready to counterattck with all he could.

"THIS IS THE BEST!" Shishio exclaimed, his left arm impaled by the javelin. Blood profusely flowed out of his wound, cascading down the wound. But there was no pain in his face, there was only ecstacy.

 

Shishio stared at the monk with the wounded cheek. He noticed that he wasn't focusing too much on him.

 

"Damn it. I got carried away with this two. This has gone far enough. Azrael, let's get that yuke, before that dragoon comes back." Shishio said, severing his left arm with his sword.

 

As the dragoon went towards the female selkie, Shishio brandished his sword, drawing a hazy Z in the air.

 

"I'd like to stay and chat, my fellas, but really, two against one isn't fair. So I'll leave you with this. Wrathful embrace of the air, fill this rubble with despair! Hissatsuken Bushido Style, Hissatsuken Mai!" Shishio disappeared in a flurry of steel and blades, hacking away at everything Azrael can reach. The support columns holding a large debris was torn into pieces, causing the debris to free fall towards the female selkie.

Nick reached the sight as the Samurai returned to full strength. He stood up and issued a teleportation spell. Nick set Niege down and readied himself. The samurai, cast a spell that Nick had never seen befor. large debris began falling everywhere, Nick ran for samuel, then Niege and pulled both of them in to a safty house. When Nick and his small group emerged, the samurai was nowhere to be scene. "DAMN IT. HE GOT AWAY" Nick yelled at the top of his lungs. He fell to the ground, yelling and cursing himself. Twice in one day he had failed, Thrice if you count abandoning his oldest friend. He picked her up and carried her on his back. With her weight safly supported on his back, He began to carry her to the nearest hospital almost a two miles away.

"You forget Yuke when you cast a spell on someone like this you are connected to them by a magical link." Then Alderous's eyes widen as he now knew Max wanted him to do this.

 

Alderous quickly relesed the spell and cast a meteor on Max it looked like it had hit but suddenly he was tied in a rope by an unseen force then Max and the rope appear "Dammit! Selkies and their tricks!"

 

"Valor you can return to base we completed our objectives." Max said. Then Max teleports away from the Capital and returns to HQ.

Shishio appeared in front of the Black Viper Selkie and the seeq from the bar earlier. His torn appearance had a rather fair effect on the two.

 

"Miss me boys?" Shishio started, but then he noticed the Yuke, "So that's the yuke. He doesn't look so guarded to me. Well, what are you waiting for? Lets go!"

 

Shishio sheathed Azrael, and fix his torn jacket with his remaining arm. This had been a nice day. For once, Shishio felt his blood flowed through his body, literally.. The pain, the slashing sensation, everything. "I chose the right side. I'm pretty sure those that monk and that dragoon will be back for me. heh."

"Ok Max, I shall return and wow Shishio I guess you had some fun," Valor said to Shishio with great sadness."All I got to fight today were some pitiful Wraiths in the forest." Valor put away his claws and started towards the HQ with Shishio. But in Valors' mind he was thinking of a way for him to get some fights in on ther next mission.

Samuel ran along behind Nick the whole time, with barely enough strength he made it with Nick to the Hospital and admitted himself along with Niege and shortly after being examined and dressed for his wounds then put into his bed he passed out . But on the way there he asked Nick a question that meant a lot to himself. "Do you have a family or parents that you worry if you will ever return to when you battle?"

Luckily for Neige, she had Passed Out, and had gone Mostly Numb, so she didn't feel most of the Pain. Neige had suffered a Broken Left Arm and Leg, her right Leg also had a Number done to it, along with a few Broken Ribs, and of course... Alcohol Poisoning. Neige lay in the Hospital Bed, in her Special Uniform and her Bandaged and a Warm Towel on her Forehead. She also happened to be in the same Room as Nick, which would have made Neige feel Awkward, if they weren't Squad Mates anfd Friends.

Lorek smiled and waved away from the town he had visited. He stayed there for a month and 2 weeks, pretty long for his standards. He also had been through a lot with the town, the surprise flan attack and the death of the mayor, it almost felt like he was leaving home. But I am a wanderer, I must leave. And with that Lorek left the town with a smile on his face. The smile didn't last for too long. A group of people riding chocobos had appeared in front of him. "Lorek? The Wanderer?" "Yes, this is the one and only." "Your presence is request to help defeat the Black Vipers. Follow me." Great. I get to help the kingdom instead of what I want to do. Yippee."

Appearance: Rnaki wears more modern day clothes for some reason. his white tshirt has the master crystals symbol on it and his blue jeans are starting to fade. on his back he carrys the master crystal its self which unlike the other crystals is not needed to be destroyed but to anyone who he passes by it looks like a normal backpack.

Bio:Rnaki was chosen to protect the master crystal long before the war between the black vipers and the kingdom started. he tends to ignore the fights and travil around keeping the crystal with him at all times. when he was chosen to protect the master crystal unfortaly he got a curse aswell for now he can be no farther then a mile from the crystal other wise he dies.

Rnaki walked down the road with the destroyed town at his back. as he walked he could feel the master crystal pulsing in his back in sadness for the loss of lives. Rnaki didnt care though and he wasnt being heartless either but he couldnt put the crystal in danger to save a few lives.man why was i chosen to protect this damn thing. i mean at least normal people cant see it but its so heavy and i cant even help people because it would put it in danger.

rnaki sighed and went down the road with one single tear falling from his eye.

Nick awoke with a jump. He was confused and his head hurt. Shouldn't of had those drinks last night. Nick thought. Then his head swirled with the thoughts of the night before, remembering that the hospital floor wasn't comfortable. He stood up and grabbed one of the Nurses.

"Where is Neige?" He said, still half dazed. She pointed to a bed next to him. Neige was still asleep but badly wounded. Nick gave a sigh of relief, knowing that she was alive. He got up and wondered to the cafeteria to get himself and Reige some food.

Neige groaned as she rolled over to her Right Side, she was starting to wake up, and already, she was Feeling the Effects of the Medicine and the Hangover. She muttered something and Closed her Eyes, trying to go back to Sleep, despite the Splitting Headache which was keeping her Awake. After about 5 Minutes, she turned onto her back and sighed. "Too many... Drinks" she groaned as she opened her eyes and was Blinded by the Light, to counter it, she put her Right Arm Over her Eyes.

 

"What happened? Why... Do my Legs and Left Arm Hurst so much?" she went to look, her her Vision was fuzzy, and she was also quite Dazed from the Medicine and Hangover.

Shishio arrived back at the Black Viper base along with the yuke. He immediately separated himself from the two others, and went back to his quarters. His left arm is still torn asunder, and his blood keeps pumping out of his open wounds.

 

"Damn it! I should have brought 'that" after all. Would've been an easy win against those two. I can't believe we ended up this way," Shishio exclaimed, then smiled thinly, "But it was worth every pain. I didn't think those two had it in them. Beating them will be Perfection!"

 

Shishio's howling laughter echoed throughout the base. Azrael vibrated ominously, as if agreeing to how Shishio felt.

Samuel had awoken from his deep slumber in the hospital. He woke up to notice that his burn was bandaged and aloe had been apllied to soothe the pain. But when he tried to sit up he felt a sharp pain in his side. "AHHH!," Samuel cried as he fell flat onto his back on the bed, the nurse came rushing towards his bed. "I'm sorry sir, but you must not move for awhile," the nurse said while fixing his IV and holding Samuel done so he wouldnt get up again. "Why can I not get up so I can check up on my friends???" Samuel said with ergency, "But I cannot let you up because you punctured your lung from the battle from what seems to be caused by a overuse or your own energy," The nurse said to Samuel with a serious face, "DAMN! I knew I should have used my Air Render instead!!" Samuel said to himself, "Well, if thats the case then I shall honor your order and stay in my bed." Samuel rested down peacefully and closed his eyes to go to sleep, the nurse then shortly left the room to check on Nick and Neige.

Valor quickly re-routed to follow Shishio, when he heard Azrael vibrate after he heard what Shishio had to say. "You know, I still don't understand how you got such a magnificent nodachi??" Valor said with inquiry, then Valor started to speed up his pace, as if he wanted to examine Azrael very closely and see what it really looked like (for he had never actually seen the sword).

As Max walked in he knelt at Lord Grendels feet with Alderous tied up behind him. "I've brought the Yuke unharmed just as you asked my Lord."

 

"Good my assassian," Grendel said. He then directed his voice towards Alderous "does the Yuke want to cooperate or does he have to face my 'pets.'"

 

"That depends. What are your 'pets?'" Alderous responded sarcasticly. Grendel smiled and pointed towards a metal prison gate. And there towered two dragoons baring their teeth.

 

"You should chose to cooperate because they haven't eaten yet today and they are always longing for a new chew toy." Grendel said. Fear took over Alderous's eyes nodding quickly to end the torture before it began.

Nick walked back into the room after 10 minutes of wandering to see Neige awake and in pain. Nick walked over to her bed and placed the tray of food he was carrying on her lap.

"Eat up, Your going to need your strength for a full recovery." He said. He knew it was corny, but he thought it made him sound more fatherly in a way. She looked down at the food and pushed it away as she leaned over the rail of the bed to throw up. Wow, and i thought I was messed up from the bar. He thought.

Again he pushed the food toward her and again she pushed it away. "You need to eat. You need some nutrition." He said again, this time trying to force feed her. He kept this up for about half and hour before he gave up and she fell back asleep.

After throwing up, Neige got a Tissue and wiped away any Vomit that was on her Face and Body. "T-thanks... but, my Stomach's feeling a bit Rough" she said as she sat up in the Bed, Smiling "But thanks... And I don't know what happened, but... Thanks Again" she said as she put her Left Arm around Nick and gave him a Quick Hug. "So... What Exactly Happened, and how... Did I end up like this?" she asked, before she took a Drink from the Glass of Water on the Bed-Side Table.
