DOUBLE ACCOUNT CLUSTERS

EDIT: Derek and George no longer involved: believed school IP.

God GAK has helped me uncover two unusually large clusters of double accounts, PM conversation:

Are you serious about instinct? I will check out the others' date=' though, but some of them don't even have a + rep score. (0)

[/quote']

I am serious. Instinct has more than 5 reps "for tips". and glasstin has a double account for sure

Alright, well:

1. agfasdra78: No reps, no posts, no IP matches... :?

2. glasstin10: Odd amount of +'s given to instinct - deleted, -1 rep for glasstin10. He has close to 100 different IPs, no logical way to check.

3. barsam: No matches.

4. rpenergy: JACKPOT!!!

IP matches with:

"card maker man", "Derek_Whaley", "georgeyboy654", god of cards, hamster, ozymandias08, Shin Akuma

5. instinctmeister: JACKPOT!!!

IP matches with:

"fatality101", "glasstin10", "hi there", "Spider-Calvin", "{Black Dragon}"

You may have uncovered a rep-ring with instinct, but I have my doubts about the other one, I think this is possible a public (school or similar) IP. I'm going to post a thread about both, and PM glasstin, instinct, george and Derek.

The first IP address in question, the one of the ring I have dubbed "The RPE Ring", will be released to help my theory about a public posting area (such as a school), the IP address is 127.0.0.1, and here is a screenshot of the account in question (high profile names on the screenshot have been PMed:

The notable scattering of Registration and Last Record Visit dates leads me to believe that this is a public IP, or a rare coincidence. George and Derek have been PMed.

The second, more suspicious case has been dubbed "The IM Ring", the IP address, for this reason, has not been released.

Thing most particularly odd about this shot is the fact that instinctmeister, hi there, and fatality101 all registered in quick succession, and, despite all being blocked for the privacy of all the accounts involved, all have "Gmail" email addresses. Black Dragon also has a Gmail email, and the remaining two are both Yahoo! emails. The next most odd thing about this case is the reputation of the members involved, inparticular glasstin and instinctmeister, who have many reps, alot seemingly uncessary reps, from each, and some, to a lesser-degree, from some of the other accounts involved.

This thread has been posted for two reasons:

One: To save my time so all of the main onvolved members, who have been PMed, can explain these coincidences.

Two: To show you how much they'll hate the mod afterwards.

but I may be wrong if so goodbuy instinct and spider-calvin and everybody else.[This isn't the first time Derek Whaley had a double acount he toldeveryone but he still wasn't allowed.]

Let me put it this way, you have a street address, right? (RIGHT?!)

You live at this address with your family, and thus they have the same address as you.

Now, an IP address is like a street address for a computer. For some reason, you, Derek and all the others are registered as having 1 matching IP (127.0.0.1), which means you've all posted from a computer, or computer network, that must be geographically near to eachother, if not the one computer. This is the easiest way of catching double accounts, as most don't think to proxy. Looking at that IP (127.0.0.1) though, and not being able to locate it on this, I think it's something public (like a school network, internet cafe, etc.). Ever post from such a place?
