Jon is a interesting character. I half-expected him to say: "If anything happens to you, I anit answerin' to him." or something. Regardless, it was pretty good. The flashback was probably one of my favorite parts. ;D

His power resides solely on the fact that he won't give up.

 

Max, on the other hand, is skilled but easily exhausted.

Chapter 3 is your worst chapter, but that really isn't saying anything. Most people take "worst" in a super-negative connotation, when it's the worst out of four good chapters. This one is borderline decent, but it's not a pile of shit. Don't be too harsh on yourself.

 

As long as you make it clear to the reader in the sentence before (and use italics), you don't need flashback tags.

 

Plot is coming along pretty nicely. AND CROBAT CAN TOTALLY DEFEAT 12 POKEMON MHMM.
