deathghost101
When I got my first starter deck..........I just plain sucked, my brother helped me with basic gameplay, even gave me a few cards to help me out. Even though back then, my brother, and his friend were like masters, I was alright.
Akumakagemaru
lol that's pretty cool. What do you mean "masters"? Just experienced duelists, or sometihng official?
deathghost101
Experienced duelists. I saw them duel a few times.........epic.
Akumakagemaru
Awesome. The only time i ever saw real people duel was the one time my parents let me play a tournament, when I was first starint. Simply put...I sucked. A 3 year old could have beat me. I improved, but that was just pathetic, getting knocked out in the first round...on the second duel of the match, my opponent got Exodia and won. Though I'm pretty sure he may have been cheating, since I noticed later that the metallic sleeves we both used let you see the card underneath if you look closely, and his friend seemed to change seats a bit...including right behind me. deathghost101
I don't use sleeves.....exept on my harpie deck, but those aren't the crudy metallic ones.
Akumakagemaru
Ehh, I use silver metallic on mine, though I haven't had a chance to use them in years. Why do you say cruddy?
deathghost101
I started using then a few years back.......thats when I found out the same thing........people could use the metallic ones to cheat..........thats why I don't really use them. I use the green ones.
Akumakagemaru
Ahhh. Solid green, or metallic?

Akumakagemaru
Okay, cool. So about how far into everything did you start playing the card game?
deathghost101
Honestly, like 2 weeks after the first starter decks came out. They looked cool so I asked my mom to get it for me........I didn't know that it was a game, until I got home that day.
Akumakagemaru
lol. I started...wel I don't precisely remember. I tihnk it was after I got a Beckett Pokemon Collector that had an article in it about some yugioh cards, and I got bored with everything else, and read it. After that, I got the starter decks, and some boosters. I started when Metal Raiders was brand new, I know.
deathghost101
Most of the cards I have, I didn't buy........I won them.

Akumakagemaru
Cool. One at a time, or you bet multiple cards?
deathghost101
Once in a while, I'll aim for more than 1 card.........I'm not the type of person who takes to much of a chance........thinking things through.
Akumakagemaru
lol that's good. I'm more cautious than you. I don't bet at all, cause I dont' like taking any mroe risks than necessary. I tend to favor a slow but steady build up, myself.
deathghost101
Even if I lose, I'll always win back what I lost......always do.

deathghost101
Later then.......but I won't make any promises about fun.
Spirit of DMG
I haven't dueled a real person since...really before G/x. And every card I have, I bought. I taught my neighbor to play, and I have yet to actually beat him. I bet against him a few times, and thats why I don't have 4 Blue-Eyes White Dragons. I make pretty solid decks, but he always manages to best me. He even found a way to win while I had Ra on the field...
deathghost101
I murdered Ra everytime this kid I dueled played him..........pathetic.
Spirit of DMG
Did said kid sacrifice 3 Blue-Eyes white Dragons to summon him and then up his ATK by 7999 with his Life in exchange for ATK ability?
deathghost101
No.......he sacrificed a maju-garzet that had 7500ATK, a blue eyes ultimate dragon(4500ATK), and a summoned skull(2500ATK), then he rised Ra's ATK by 5000 more..........
