English: Smooth Swordsman

Japanese: 滑らかな剣士

Translated: Sumu-zu Kenkaku

Attribute: LIGHT

Types: Warrior/Ritual/Effect

Level: Level 7 *******

ATK/DEF: 2500/1300

Card Effects Type(s): Summon/Ignition/Trigger

Card Description(s):

When this card is Special Summoned it is placed in face-up Attack Position. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard and draw 1 card, if that card is LIGHT monster you can reveal it to draw 1 more card. If this card is destroyed return it to its owners hand instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

You know the drill, rate out of 10. Any kind of detailed feedback is more than welcomed.

General rule of thumb is if the required Ritual Spell Card does nothing more than summon the monster, we can assume exactly what it says, so it generally isn't needed.

Only when it's something unique, like Ritual of Grace, do we require the spell.

even tho u dont need to post the ritual spell card, u still need to specify which ritual spell is needed to ritual summon the card

It's a Ritual Monsters. It's always specified on the monster card.

Can you point it out? Because I sure as hell don't see it.

The lore on this card makes it seem like you accidentally pressed the Ritual button on the maker, since it doesn't say ANYTHING about a Ritual Spell, or even have the standard Ritual text.

And don't even say "well since its a Ritual Card we're supposed to automatically assume that..." blah blah blah. Thats like saying since its a Spirit card, we automatically know it goes back to your hand, so we don't have to put it.

"When this card is Special Summoned, it is placed in face-up attack positon."

I only know of a couple cards where this effect would actually have to take effect, so it seems kinda pointless. And, if its supposed to be Ritual Summoned instead of Special Summoned, then the rest of the sentence is utterly useless, since they're automatically Ritual Summoned in face-up attack.

Wrong, a Ritual Summon is like a Special Summon, it can be Summoned in Attack or Defense Position.

Don't need to. It's a proven fact. All Ritual Monsters have the text "This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card "________".

Lern 2 ygo.
