~ P O L A R I S ~
Sabers get EVEN MORE mad loot? This is getting ridiculous. Summon this' date=' summon ragirugga, recruit faultroll, special faultroll, do big loops, win. I often find it hard to get loops off because I can't keep monsters out long enough for faultroll to get played. This guy is really good.[/quote'] Faultroll says "while", not "by". There isn't even a loop. wat The first two lines are a restriction, not a means for a Summon. That's how I read it, at least. I don't see how it could be read otherwise. gb2fanfics

MrCodyPwns
X-Sabers will reach top tier or have a solid slot in tier two at this rate. Tier 1.5,2 if anything. If Boggart could Synchro for anything, and wasn't limited to Saber Synchros, they would have made Top Tier easily. But for now, they got a steady pace, slowly making it to the top. Maybe something like this:[spell-Normal]Tribute 1 Face-up monster you control and send it to the Graveyard. Draw 1 card from your Deck. That would probably put faultroll to 2. I dunno lol. Umbra
gb2fanfics This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except while you control 2 or more face-up "X-Saber" monsters. In other words, if you control 2 or more X-Sabers, you are allowed to Special Summon this card. gb2school

It's pretty common knowledge that what you're trying to push here is utter nonsense. Such a limited Faultroll wouldn't be in any rarity above common, let alone be the surefire Saber staple it is at competitive levels. Faultroll's been called out without external means in major events as prestigious as SJCs, which are hosted by the creators of the game. Would they profile and applaud an entrant who'd incorrectly used their card? Furthermore, would it make any sense that Guardian of Order, a sub-par beatstick at its Level without an effect, permits the user to use the ridiculously small pool of external means of Special Summoning it from their hand when it also has no clause indicating the player wouldn't otherwise be capable of doing so anyway? Assuming it couldn't otherwise be Special Summoned and that only external means of Summoning it would work, and only from the hand too. How exactly would one do so? All that comes to mind is "A Hero Emerges" while controlling 2 LIGHT monsters. Does that make sense? Does that seem like it'd be the way in which Guardian of Order was designed? What you're doing with Faultroll is more or less advocating that this was indeed how Guardian of Order was meant to work to a lesser extent. Granted, it is indeed to a lesser extent, but it's still more than enough to indicate that you're more adept to the boys' sections than to the mens'. Might as well throw in that Ruling too, just as that extra informercial bonus: * The text "this card cannot be Special Summoned except if you control 2 or more face-up "X-Saber" monsters" of "XX-Saber Faultroll" is a Summoning Condition. It is not an effect.

It is not an effect. I'm pretty sure basic grammar is taught at your school. Guardian of Order is worded completely differently. It directly gives the player a way to Special Summon it from the hand: Faultroll limits the player from Special Summoning it unless you control 2 or more X-Sabers, in it's current wording. That ruling does nothing but enhance my argument. You will need 2 X-Sabers on the field to Special Summon this card: It is not a "cost" as say Guardian of Order or Dark Armed Dragon. The point I'm trying to push here isn't the Faultroll loop isn't intended to work; if that's what came across, I apologize. What I'm trying to say is that Faultroll needs an errata in order to work as intended, given its' current wording.
Jazin Kay
Faultroll's effect is a summoning condition. So is DAD's. Guardian's is too, but it's optional. There is no cost in any of those 3 cards to summon them.
