Well, I thought I'd do a good ole' tribute to the origins of Yu-Gi-Oh!: Japan.

I happen to be taking Japanese, and I know their alphabets, so I'll be doing a card for each letter.

For those of you who don't understand the Japanese alphabets, I'll be happy to explain. But for now...

Kanji Krow - A

Winged-Beast

Lore: A Mystical crow with ties to feudal Japan. It usually flies in flocks.

Kanji Krow - I

DARK | Level 4

Winged-Beast / Effect

Lore: If you control a face-up "Kanji Krow - A", you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If you Special Summon it in this way, you can Special Summon as many "Kanji Krow - I"s from your hand as possible.

Kanji Krow - U

DARK | Level 3

Winged-Beast / Effect

Lore: If you control a face-up "Kanji Krow- I", you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If you control a face-up "Kanji Krow - A", you can Special Summon 1 "Kanji Krow - E" from your hand.

Lore: A small crow that is only found in flocks. While weak alone, in numbers they are fearsome.

Lore: This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card can only be Normal Summoned or Set by tributing "Kanji Krow" monsters. Once per turn, you can Normal Summon an additional "Kanji Krow" monster. If you do so, you cannot enter your battle phase this turn.

Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or set. This card can only be Special Summoned by using the effect of "Tenten Shift" on a face-up "Kanji Krow - Ke" you control. If this card is used as synchro material for a Level 5 Synchro Summon, you do not have to release a non-tuner monster.

Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or set. This card can only be Special Summoned by controlling 1 "Kanji Krow - Ka", 1 "Kanji Krow - Ki", 1 "Kanji Krow - Ku", and 1 "Kanji Krow - Ke". As long as you control the aforementioned cards, this card cannot be selected as an attack target or destroyed by card effects. When a face-up "Kanji Krow" monster you control is destroyed, increase this card's ATK and DEF by the destroyed monster's level x 500 until the End Phase.

This card can only be Special Summoned by using the effect of "Tenten Shift" on a face-up "Kanji Krow - Ko" you control while it is the only monster on your side of the field. For each "Kanji Krow - K" and "Kanji Krow - G" monster in your Graveyard, this card gains 500 ATK and DEF.

Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or set. This card can only be Special Summoned by using the effect of "Tenten Shift" on a face-up "Kanji Krow - Sa" you control. You take no damage from battles involving this card. If this card would be destroyed, you can remove from play 1 "Kanji Krow" monster you control to negate its destruction, and take damage equal to half of the removed from play monster's ATK.

Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or set. This card can only be Special Summoned by using the effect of "Tenten Shift" on a face-up "Kanji Krow - Se" you control. Once per turn, remove from play 1 monster you control to switch the original ATK and DEF of this card until your end phase.

Return all removed from play monsters to their respective owner's decks and increase this card's ATK by 200 for each monster returned to the deck by this effect until the end phase.

Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or set. This card can only be Special Summoned by using the effect of "Tenten Shift" on a "Kanji Krow - Ta" you control. While this card is face-up on the field, you can summon monsters that would require "Tenten Shift" to summon without using "Tenten Shift." When this card is destroyed, remove from play all monsters summoned by this effect.

 

Kanji Krow - Chi

Lore: When a monster you control is removed from the field, increase this card's level by 1 and Special Summon 1 "Chi Token" (Winged-Beast-type/DARK/Level 1/0 ATK/0 DEF) in attack position. You can tribute this card to Special Summon 1 monster from your hand whose level is equal to the level of "Kanji Krow - Chi" when it is tributed.

 

Kanji Krow - Dzi

Lore: This card cannot be summoned. When you draw this card, take damage equal to the number of cards you control x100, then shuffle it into your opponent's deck face-up.
