I'll join any rp your doing if you want.

What I would say but I've been removed from the list for some reason.

Oh can I be cook? At least can I be given stuff to help me work my way to it?

Cool. Link to OOC thread: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-201711.html

I don't know how that happened. I will get Primal on that.

As to being a cook, make a fanfic, One Piece fanfic of course, and you can be a cook. Or at least I'm sure Primal wouldn't have an issue with you being a cook if you just make a fanfic.

First I think I missed something with Nexev being a cook why did you say that he had to make a Fan-Fic Andx?

Only because that's what the ranks thing talks about. Cooks working with fanfics. I don't care, Nex can be a cook, I just thought there might be something to making that rank.

Oh, I was assuming that he meant cook in the roleplay lmao. Well I guess we should wait for him to clarify whats he meant.

Edit: I guess he just did that, Nexev I haven't noticed that but I meant more that you help the Fan-Fic writers that are in this club, the only one I know of is Andx. Or it means that you specilise in Fan-Fics but you have to earn the Rank by showing either a Fan-fic you did or helping the members of the club with their Fan-Fics.

Okay then.

By the way, Nexev posted a Marine character in the ooc thread for the club RP. I think you should check it out just because I don't know if you want anymore villains.

Actually we're trying to breathe life into after it nearly died. I wanted Primal's opinion on accepting another villain before I said anything. Sorry about that.

I like the sound of this shipwright.

The machine god was a extremly powerful pacifisto that inexplicably became self aware and opted peace and to use his powers for bettering the good than destroying evil. The mechalists follow this principle, any technology can be used for good and it's the mechalists job to help make as much technlogy as possible to aid the world. In addition the God was defeated by the marines and it's half destroyed body is the church of Mechalism. Repairing him is the dream of all mechalists.

James was captured to be enslaved a while back but was saved due to a malfunction in the cage and collars holding him, something he claims was Gods will.

It was extremely powerful and the size of Oars, however it became self aware (possessed by the MAchine God's spirit as the believers claim). IT was peaceful but destroyed due to the potential threat it was.

The cult uses it's remains as a base, they are some of the best mechanics in the world, to them, building is a way of life.

The hooks are symbolic to them as it can perform many functions, it's important that you build and customize your own, for example Father REconstucts are paticurally good at conducting electricerty and can double as a wire.

I like the character Nexev and have no problems with it. Now if only the RP was still alive. I should probably go try and give it some life. Oh, I'll go comment on your villain app in a minute in the OOC thread.

New chapter!
Chapter 22 Success and Failure Intertwined. Jack's and Koji's Stands Against the Hunters.]

"You hear that Jack? Seems we've got some competition to find Nami." Koji said at the appearance of the four hunters. He seemed rather unfazed by the sight of the man crashing into the wall.

"Please Koji, don't put them on our level. Assaulting civilians is far from honorable. How about we teach them how to behave?" Jack said. A wide grin spread across Koji's face at the thought.

"So fight 'em huh? Sounds good to me!" Koji said. With that Koji and Jack walked up to the man in the coat. He had been the one to throw the townsman.

"What do you two want?! Come to tell me where the Cat Burglar is?! If you don't want to die I'd recommend you tell us." The man said. He didn't seem too threatening, his voice sounded threatening but his appearance didn't seem to back it up. The men behind him they seemed dangerous. One had very short black hair and was quite muscular. He wore a simple red jacket and dirty shorts. However the one thing to be noticed about him immediately was the large battle axe across his back. It spanned the length of his back, if not more. It a blade on both sides of the large wooden rod. The weapon looked dangerous, almost as much as the man did.

Another of the men had long blond hair that came down to the middle of his back. He wore a simple shirt and quite clean pants, much cleaner than his axe-wielding friend. In his hands he was handling a whip. This whip had a single strand and seemed to be roughly six feet in length. Most notable were the metal thorns surrounding it. He seemed to be staring at the two members of the New Dawn in front of him with utter disdain. Like neither of them were worthy to be around him.

The final member of this pirate hunting group seemed much less part of the group. He was a few steps back and was staring away from what was going on. It seemed like he didn't want to acknowledge what his associates were doing. The sort of look that he was ignoring something he knew to be wrong. His look was different from the others two. His skin was dark while the other three were all relatively fair. He stood at roughly six feet tall, making him the shortest of the hunters. His muscles were visible, but not incredibly present like in the axe-wielder. His hair was a dark brown that was in long braids coming down all around but they seemed to have a slight blue tint. He wore a sleeveless shirt, black pants, open fingered black gloves, and an old looking pair of boots. He had two swords at his sides but had not drawn them yet.

Done looking them down, Jack moved to respond to the leader's statement.

"Tell you? My dear man, I'm looking for her as well. However I can tell what all you want from her and I can assure you," Jack said; he looked the man in the eyes and drew his long rapier like sword. "I won't be allowing you near her." he said. Koji also pulled his guitar to his front and began revving the blades on it.

"Let's get going already!" Koji said.

"So you intend to fight us? That's a laugh! You two idiots are really in for it now! Luke, Robert, take care of this. Hayate and I will watch." the man in the coat said.

"Of course, captain Stronghold." the man with the whip said as he stepped past.

"Please, Luke. Captain makes me sound like a dirty pirate. Daniel will do." the leader said.

"We'll get back to you on your name. Right now we have chumps to kill!" Robert, the man with the axe said. The two stepped out to face Koji and Jack. Were they to face the person directly across the fights would be Koji vs. Luke and Jack vs. Robert.

"So who do you want Luke?" Robert said. He was eager to get to fighting. Luke simply moved the hair off his face and started with a "humph".

"It hardly matters. However, that fool with the guitar has been staring at me a little too intently for awhile now. I'd like to teach him why one doesn't do that." Luke said.

"Fair enough. Then I get the swordsman in the suit. Let's get going already!" he called out.

--------

Robert immediately charged after Jack who seemed to have expected such a charge. Jack began stepping back lightly waiting for the moment Robert would draw the large axe off of his back. As of yet Robert hadn't and he didn't seem intent on doing so.

"If that's how you'd like to go about it..." Jack thought. He jumped off to the right so as to get Robert away from Koji and Luke. While it would be an advantage to fight with Koji, Jack didn't care for the idea of letting Luke and Robert fight together. Robert continued his charge, at a pretty impressive speed, and put his right shoulder forward. He intended to ram into Jack.

Robert approached and Jack simply danced off to his side as he passed. As he did he lunged out at Robert who had left himself quite open. Or at least he thought he was open. Robert turned and let his axe deflect the attempted stab.

"I'm sorry, were you planning on stabbing me there?! That wouldn't be any fun! Now then, how about I get going? You obviously want to see this axe o' mine in action!" Robert said. He took the large axe off his back with his right arm. Holding it in just the right hand he swung it at Jack with astounding speed. As Jack back-shuffled to avoid getting hit he was almost knocked off balance by the wind that had followed the swing.

"How heavy is that thing?!" Jack thought as he stopped himself from falling.

Jack looked up to see another attack coming in. Robert swung the axe again horizontally. Jack jumped back further to avoid getting knocked off balance again. The increased time opened him up to another attack. Robert brought the axe up and swung it down vertically. Jack barely rolled out of the way and as the axe hit the ground it shattered the cement in the shape of a circle with radius roughly three feet. The axe was brought up again. Jack got up from his roll and was ready to dodge again. However Robert simply stood there.

"So that's all you're going to do? You're just going to dodge my attacks? That's boring! Now get in here and attack me!" Robert yelled at him. Jack couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"He wants me to start attacking him? Who does that?" he thought. Still he got up and held his rapier at the ready. He charged and lunged out at Robert's chest. Robert dodge to the side but Jack wasn't ready to give him any room to attack. He began a fury of lunges that Robert continually dodged. Though he wasn't being hit, Robert wasn't able to attack either. He did seem a bit more amused now. Like the idea that he could get hit was an amazing thing. Finally one attack did graze Robert's left arm leaving a small cut. With that Jack was ready to go in for a more painful, if not lethal, stab but Robert raised his axe and Jack had to hold back to avoid leaving himself open from having his sword rebound off the axe.

"So it seems you got the first hit! Now I hope you're ready!" He raised his axe again. This time it was above his head and Jack saw a chance to attack. He rushed in and with his right arm delivered a very forceful punch to Robert's gut. He was knocked off balance but he hadn't made any reaction like he was in pain. He took a step back but that was it.

"That was something else. I could feel its strength as it passed through me into my axe!" he yelled. His axe was glowing red and as he swung it a wave of energy flew off of it. Jack had no time to react and held his rapier up in an attempt to block it. The wave dragged Jack back and slammed him into a wall before fading. His rapier was okay, somehow.

"What was that?" Jack managed to say softly. The impact had been rough and he was amazed he was able to stand at the moment. Still the feeling passed and he was relatively balanced again.

"Confused? It's just my Pulse Pulse fruit. Well I shouldn't say my, the axe is the thing that absorbed the fruit! The energy of any impact near the weapon is drawn into it and then it can be fired back out. Though the ability to draw the energy away is greatly increased if the object that gets hit is in contact with the axe. Any punch you throw at me won't hurt me! So you'd best be getting that sword of yours to hit me once and awhile or you won't last long!" Robert said. With that he raised the axe above his head again and charged.

Jack was quick to get away from the wall as he did not want a path of escape blocked in any way. Getting hit by the axe was the last thing he wanted. Robert was clearly open to attack with the way he head his axe overhead. However he was faster than he seemed and had nimbly dodged the rapier's strikes so far and any other attack wouldn't work. So Jack didn't have much in the way of options. At least not how he was fighting. He stopped backtracking and as Robert swung down Jack attempted to guard with his rapier held horizontally overhead. The clash of the axe hurt and the axe slid off the blade and struck the ground. Jack then clasped the metal blade on the axe.

"Meta Meta, absorption!" Jack said. With that his arm suddenly turned the same silver color of the axe and it quickly covered his entire body. He seemed to be made entirely of the same material as the axe now.

"What this?!" Robert said surprised at the turn of events. He raised his axe quickly and swung again only to have it bounce off of Jack's head. The alarm on his face was quite obvious.

"Not so tough now are we?!" Jack said. With that he lunged out with his rapier again. Robert was off balance from his axe being deflected and barely managed to avoided getting struck in the chest. Still the blade grazed his right arm but this time the cut was a bit more obvious than the first.

Jack wasted no time and pressed the opportunity to attack. He lunged again but Robert seemed back into his groove and began dodging. Robert then swung again and again the axe rebounded off of Jack's body. Though Robert didn't seem surprised this time. The axe was glowing red again and Jack knew that was trouble. Without swinging the axe released the energy and as it caught Jack full on it threw him into the wall he had been knocked into previously. The attack had hurt despite Jack's metallic body.

"It seems I can still get a shock wave out of hitting you. So what now? You still can't hit me all that often!" Robert said. And then suddenly there was a small pricking pain in his neck. He looked and saw a small needle. He almost laughed when he saw it.

"That was supposed to decide this fight?! You're getting pretty desp-" Robert couldn't finish. Suddenly things got blurry and slower. He could hardly see and focusing was difficult. He had no idea what was going on. He could hear Jack approaching but as he moved to raise his axe it fell out of his hands.

"It seems you liked the poison dart too much to remove it. Well that helps me." Jack said. His arms still metallic, he raised Robert up with his left and prepared to hit him with his right.

"Now then, try this one!" Jack said. He then punched him square in the gut. Immediately Robert coughed up blood and was out. The blow would have been dangerous had the fist delivering it not been metallic. Seeing Robert out Jack was satisfied he had won.

"Now then. Two more left, well, that is if Koji won." Jack said.

--------

Koji was quick to attack. He loved fighting but he loved short fights more. Though his opponent was a bit annoying. He showed none of the same spirit for battle and kept things from getting close by lashing his whip around every once and awhile.

"So are you actually going to fight with me?" Koji said. Luke simply rolled his eyes. Still not making eye contact he responded.

"Why should I exert myself against someone such as you? Eventually you'll tire yourself out as all fools do in their fights, and then I can lash the lesson that you need to be taught into your back at my leisure." Luke said.

"So what you're saying is, you don't think I'm worth the effort?" Koji said. Luke simply chuckled a bit.

"Yes, fool, that is what I meant. Now do you intend to discuss my battle plan all day or do you want to get back to losing?" Luke said.

"Let's see how long you can keep up that stuck-up attitude!" Koji said. He rushed at Luke with the saw blades in his guitar revving at gear one. As he approached Luke made minimal movement to lash his whip once more at Koji. Koji jumped off to the right and continued his charge only to have the whip wrap around his left arm. The metal thorns really did hurt, but Koji saw an opportunity to get Luke good. Koji continued his charge and Luke raised an eyebrow at the attempt. He didn't even move. Koji was right on him and cut him horizontally across the chest.

Then, instead of blood, dirt came out of the cut on Luke's chest. The guitar had traces of dirt on it instead of blood as well.

"What? What the heck is this?" Koji yelled. Luke chuckled to himself again.

"That would by the power of my Daichi Daichi no mi. The earth fruit. I am a logia type. My entire body is made of earth and cutting it, will benefit you nothing." Luke said. He had the kind of tone that made it clear he believed it his tragic duty to educate the idiots of the world. His whole body turned to dirt and then all at once he looked normal again, the cut was completely gone.

"That's a low down, cheating ability! Where's the fun in a fight if you can't get hurt?!" Koji yelled. He charged again and slashed at Luke a few more times. The cuts yielded the same results.

"You think a fight should be entertaining? How foolish. The purpose of a fight is to get what you want by killing your opponent. My ability insures that you can't kill me. I believe we've already covered my plan for this fight. So get to it. Tire yourself out quickly please." Luke said.

"Don't you talk to me like you're so superior!" Koji yelled. His blades got faster and louder as they reached gear two. He swung at Lukes neck and decapitated him. His head turned to dirt as it fell. Luke's body fell into a pile of dirt as well and mixed with the dirt that had been his head. His body once again formed out of the earth and he was fine.

"I don't pretend to be superior. Now please go about this a bit faster. I'd like to get to hurting you soon." Luke said. Koji raised his guitar but then he stopped. Thoughts were going through his mind.

"Hey, thanks there Fro- Ow! What was that for Frozox?!"

"You idiot! If that man hadn't had that devil fruit power you would have just directly defied Emanuel's wishes! He said that no one was to die for this! Now if you can't get it through your head to start following Emanuel's orders you're going to have a very painful voyage ahead of you! Now then, let's be going."

"I'm not thinking. Again. If I keep this up I'm going to mess up again. I can't let them down, not again. So charging wildly won't do. Then let's go about this with a bit of though!" Koji thought.

"Stopped your attacks have you? Come now, I can tell you're not the type to realize that you can't win. You must want to attack some more. You have to tire yourself out. I can't be bothered to do that for you." Luke thought. As he did Koji's blades stopped altogether. He then strummed the guitar. A simple A chord began echoing around the battlefield. Luke didn't seem to get it and Koji wasn't looking up.

"Why would I realize something as stupid as that?!" Koji said. He looked up with his usual ferocious enthusiasm.

"Then why won't you attack?" Luke asked. Koji's blades started up again.

"If you insist!" Koji said. The blade was going but so was the chord. Luke couldn't understand it. As Koji approached Luke moved to raise his whip only to have his right arm fall to the ground as a pile of dirt. His whip also fell to the ground.

"What?!" he said alarmed. Koji charged up and slashed him across the chest. The cut did nothing but Luke was still alarmed. Koji backed off and then Luke was able to reform his arm and pick up the whip.

"What did you do?" Luke said, quite angry. Koji smiled and began striking a few more chords. It seemed like he was muttering to himself.

"That wasn't right. That made the earth too soft. I have to make it harder. Hard like a human body. The sound wasn't right that time. This should work." Koji said under his breath.

"Speak up so I can hear you!" Luke screamed. Koji ran at Luke once more and as he raised his arm to lash the whip he couldn't move it. It was stiff, he couldn't move it all. It felt like a rock. Koji ran up and slashed across Luke's chest. Luke was certain nothing could happen and was incredibly alarmed when blood came out of the cut and surge of pain shot through his body.

"What the hell are you doing to me?!!" Luke screamed. Koji began laughing.

"I finally got it. I got the sound waves to compress your body." Koji said.

"Dammit, say something that makes sense!" Luke yelled.

"It's simple actually. My devil fruit lets me manipulate sound wave. I just had to find a chord that I could manipulate into compressing your body. I can make it hard enough to cut. But then again, a genius such as yourself should have known that." Koji said with a wide grin across his face.

"So that's it? Sound?! What nonsense! I'll end this here!" Luke yelled. He then slammed his hand into the ground. His arm then disappeared inside of it.

"Earth Chasm." Luke said. As he did the ground beneath Koji fell away to reveal a six foot deep hole complete with rock spikes to skewer him when he fell. As Koji fell he stopped his current chord and went back to the A chord. As he did the spikes below turned to loose soil. Koji smiled as he landed safely. He then switched back to the compressing chord as he got out of the pit.

"End of the line you stuck-up jerk!" Koji called out. He ran up to Luke and cut him diagonally across Luke's chest. The blood loss and pain was like nothing Luke had ever experienced.

"How? You shouldn't be able to-" and with that he passed out. Koji smiled as he saw his opponent pass out.

"Now then, two more of these guys left!" Koji said.

--------

Emanuel, Frozox, Alice, and John, along with a few villagers, were running through the town. They had to get to shopping center to defeat the pirate hunters. It was their only way to get to see Nami.

"We're headed the right way, right?" Alice asked the villager with them as she ran.

"Yes, it'll only be a few seconds now." he responded.

"Come on, come on." Emanuel said under his breath as he ran. He was eager to get there.

It didn't take all that long and the group burst in on a scene they weren't sure what to make of. A man was passed out next to a large axe, another was passed out next to a whip and a pile of dirt. However the most notable thing was the unconscious bodies of Jack and Koji flying at them. The fell a few feet in front of them. The man with the two swords sheathed his blades right as the two fell.

"JACK! KOJI!" Emanuel yelled as he ran up to them. Frozox was right next to them to check on their condition. Both of them were out and had suffered many cuts at various parts of their bodies. Alice was shocked at the sight and John had to wonder who was strong enough to do that.

Emanuel looked up at the man who had sheathed his swords. He then looked down to his friends.

"How are they Frozox?" Emanuel said softly.

"It doesn't look good. They can be saved but they need attention, now." Frozox said.

"Get the villagers to help you get them out of here." Emanuel said. Frozox agreed and the men that had come with them got right on it.

"John, Alice, focus on that one in the big black coat." Emanuel said. He looked up straight at the man in the sleeveless shirt. He was clearly angry. His eyes had a fierce look and his fangs were bared. The tips of all nine of Emanuel's tails were burning with the pale blue flames.

"As for me... I'm going to kill the bastard who did this this to Jack and Koji!!!"

Alright, another two posts here in a row for me. And again, it's to present another chapter of my fanfic. Here's your character's fight Primal.
Chapter 23 An Enraged Emanuel Starts the Fight! King of the Mountain Will Finish It!]

"What, more of you pirates? So you're the friends of those two then. I suppose you'll be trying to stop us next then. I hope for your sakes your captain wasn't one of those two. While they may have thrashed my two pals, they weren't even a match for Hayate here." the leader in the black coat said. The man named Hayate turned to face his boss. Then he spoke to the man though the crew could not hear what he was saying.

"What's going on here? We agreed that I'd join you to find Nami. I didn't settle to fight anyone who crossed your path." he said.

"What are you complaining about? If we don't get rid of them then we don't ever find the woman." the leader answered back.

"...So if I get rid of them?" Hayate said.

"Yes, I'll get you to Nami." he responded. Hayate turned back around to face the crew. There was a girl, a man, and rather ferocious looking blue fox on the enemy's side.

"So which one of you is the strongest? Hopefully not the girl. I'd prefer not to fight with her." Hayate said. John put his hands in his coat's pockets and grinned.

"The fights have already been decided." John grabbed Alice's hand and they disappeared. They then reappeared behind the leader and with his other free hand and all three disappeared and then reappeared a good thirty feet away from Hayate. John then immediately let go of the leader and then he and Alice disappeared one more time, reappearing a safe ten feet from the leader.

It all happened so fast it left Hayate almost disoriented. However losing focus over such events was not something that ever happened to Hayate. He focused back in on where the pirates had been standing and realized his fight was to be with the fox.

"That man must be confident in his pet if he thinks this animal will be enough to defeat me. Well, you seem serious enough fox. I suppose I could at least humor-" before Hayate could finish the fox had already gotten right up next to him. It had suddenly gotten within a foot of him.

"Rankyaku Wheel." the fox of all things called out. Hayate saw it make a midair front flip and the tips of its tails suddenly shined blue. Then the energy flew off the tails as the fox flipped. With almost no time to spare Hayate drew his swords to block the attack. He saved himself and noticed as the attack moved past him that it was quite capable of cutting. Not only was this fox seemingly talking, it was quite dangerous.

"So you're capable of speech are you?" Hayate asked figuring he could at least treat this like a normal fight if he could talk with his opponent.

"I have nothing to say to you! Only that you'll die for hurting Jack and Koji!" the fox said. And that was that for the conversation. Hayate figured it was a devil fruit user as opposed to a talking fox. Not that he would have doubted the latter, but the fox seemed too smart for that.

"So you intend to kill me in this fight? Then allow me to provide you that opportunity." Hayate said. He crossed his swords and they let out a faint glow.

"Shikai no mi game: King of the Mountain." Hayate said. A wave of energy shot out in a circle around Hayate and extended a decent distance. It didn't do anything to Emanuel as it passed.

"You're now playing. As long as you remain in this field you'll be playing King of the Mountain with me. If you win the game then I will be critically injured but the same holds true for you if I win." Hayate said. The fox didn't seem to like it.

"I won't waste time playing with you! I'm just going to kill you!" the fox said, its fangs bared. It leapt out at Hayate this time aiming to bit him it seemed. Hayate clashed his swords with the fox's mouth and noticed the same energy the fox's tails had been giving off earlier.

"While you'll find physically harming me is still an option, you'll also find that killing me any way other than by winning the game is quite impossible." Hayate said. The fox backed off after Hayate swung the shorter of his blades at it.

"I'd like to at least know your name before we begin our death match. As you may have heard my name is Hayate." Hayate said to the fox.

"Emanuel. Happy now?" Emanuel said.

"Very well then, Emanuel. The game begins now. The way to win is to be the higher than your opponent after fifteen minutes. Begin!" Hayate said. The swords let out a blue glow this time signaling the games' start. The glow faded and Hayate readied his two blades. Hayate saw that Emanuel was first to move. All nine of his tails straightened out and stopped burning with the pale blue fire for a moment.

"Rankyaku, Nine Point Intersection!" Emanuel called out. All nine of his tails swung in and nine blades of energy fired off at Hayate. As they flew they intersected as the attack name had suggested.

Hayate held his blades and took the attack right on. He was able to hold it back, though that took more effort than he thought it would. It almost overwhelmed him at first as a result of his underestimating it. But he put more of his strength into it and scattered the attack. He moved his blades to either side as his arms extended horizontally. Before he knew what had happened Emanuel was in front of him and had just shot two more blades from his tails at him. The two attacks hit Hayate squarely on the chest and left pretty good marks. Hayate was impressed to say the least. It had been awhile since an opponent had drawn his blood. There was suddenly a white glow about Hayate's feet.

"You know, your attacks are amazing and all, but as of right now I'm still higher than you. With our heights alone as right now I'll win this contest." Hayate said.

"I already told you I only want you dead!" Emanuel said as he charged Hayate again.

"And I already told you, that'll only happen in you win!" Hayate said.

Hayate held both swords to his left and took a step to the right. Then he too leapt out at Emanuel and as they passed his blades cut Emanuel. As they landed Emanuel took note of the two five inch cuts from the blades. They hadn't gone too deep but that didn't mean they didn't hurt. Emanuel noticed the white glow about Hayate's feet hadn't gone away. So it realll did come down to winning the game.

"This is stupid! Why does the first guy I want to kill have to do stuff like this?" Emanuel thought. Emanuel's tails ignited once again but this time the flames engulfed all of Emanuel's body. He began the flaming charge at Hayate.

"Fire now? This keeps getting more interesting as it goes." Hayate said. He readied his blades, thinking to cut Emanuel down before he even had the chance to attack.

"Soru!" Emanuel said. And then he disappeared. Hayate couldn't follow him. Within the second the flaming fox had crashed into his chest. The impact was hard, the fire was painful, and Hayate was knocked off his feet for the first time in a fight.

As Hayate fell to the floor the white glow about his feet disappeared and reappeared about Emanuel's feet. Emanuel wasn't done attacking however.

"Rankyaku, Crescent Moon Dance." he said. All of his tails sort of snapped outward and nice more of the blades appeared. Only this time they were curved and were now all flying at Hayate from different angles. Hayate got back up to his feet and readied both his blades.

"Gravity field." he said calmly. He swung both blades down as all nine of Emanuel's attacks came into range. The force of the swings was great, even Emanuel who wasn't a swordsman could tell. All of the attacks crashed to the ground upon Hayate's swings. It was like something had pulled them down. They all disappeared as they had crashed into the ground.

"So what, gravity manipulation comes with the power too?" Emanuel said. Hayate brought his swords up.

"Not exactly. That would be part of my own unique style. When my swords are swung with enough force, I can temporarily increase or decrease the gravity in a particular area." Hayate said. Emanuel noticed his breathing was particularly heavier now. It must not have been easy to swing the swords with all that force. Emanuel almost forgot how angry he was as Hayate explained what he could do. It was really exciting. As Emanuel tried to focus back in on being angry he noticed he couldn't do it.

"It's no good. I've never wanted to kill anyone before now. And now I can't bring myself to want to kill him. Then there's one thing he can do to make up for it...." Emanuel thought.

"Hayate was it? Tell me something, why are you helping these pirate hunters. You didn't seem particularly attached to them." Emanuel said.

"You're right, I'm not. However they're the only means I have of reaching my goal at the moment so I have to side with them. And if helping them can help me, I'll have no choice but to fight you and everyone else on the New Dawn crew." Hayate said.

"Wait, you recognized us?" Emanuel said. It was a bit shocking, or at least out of place.

"I saw Black Frost Frozox and the blue fox on the wanted posters many a time. Of course I recognized you." Hayate said. He was glad that he finally got to speak with his opponent. Emanuel, as the fox was called, didn't seem nearly as angry anymore.

"So what exactly do you want that only these guys can help you with?" Emanuel asked Hayate.

"I suppose I could tell you. I mean, I did injure two of your friends as a way to get to it. I guess you deserve an explanation. I want to find Cat Burglar Nami, who I'm fairly certain is living here. As for why I want to meet her, that's my own business. But I can tell you that I don't intend to take her in for the bounty." Hayate said.

"And that's why you're with these hunters? Don't you know what they plan to do to her?" Emanuel said.

"It's not really my concern. I seriously doubt a woman as strong as Nami could be taken in by these weaklings anyway." Hayate said.

"So that's it? You want to talk with Nami and you don't care what happens to her or her family? Unacceptable. I'll have to change that attitude within the next five minutes." Emanuel said. Hayate noticed the game didn't have much time left it it. Before he could see what Emanuel had done, he saw Emanuel on top of a nearby house, a good eleven feet higher than him now. Emanuel's last sentence was running in Hayate's mind. Was he going about this the wrong way? Should he be crushing the pirate hunters himself? He focused back in on Emanuel however.

"So you've finally decided to play?" Hayate asked. He took a few jumps and met Emanuel on the roof. His height gave him the edge again as they were on level ground. Emanuel made another high speed charge at Hayate. But instead of crashing into him, Hayate felt like Emanuel had used him as something to jump off of.

When Hayate looked up he noticed Emanuel on top of a nearby tower. The tower seemed to be some form of scaffolding as in the lower sections of it there was a partially constructed building. Now he was another good eleven or twelve feet higher up again.

"He's going to be a tough one to get higher than to be sure. Seems I'll have to attack him to get this in my favor." Hayate thought. He readied his blades again. He'd have to bring down the tower as after that Emanuel would have no means to go higher. He swung his blades down with incredible might and the increased gravity set in. The tower started collapsing and Emanuel was dragged down to the ground with it. The forces generated by Hayate's technique would be painful enough, but the debris Emanuel was now being mixed in with would batter him quite well. Hayate was confident he would win the game now as Emanuel was on the ground and a single minute remained.

The field finished and Hayate looked down to see what had become of his opponent. He couldn't see where he had landed. No doubt the debris of the tower had covered him. As the last minute began to finish Hayate relaxed. His opponent was down for the count and would soon be worse off. Then he felt a strange sensation. It felt like something had moved behind him. He turned around to see a man with messy brown hair. And before Hayate knew what had happened the man's leg and slammed into his chest. He felt as if he had been stabbed as well and noticed the man was wearing spiked grieves.

"Impact!" the man called out. Hayate noticed it to be the voice of the fox. His theory about the fox being a person with a Devil Fruit power had been correct. Right after the word impact Hayate felt an incredibly painful force surge into his chest that knocked him off his feet and off the building he was currently standing.

Right as Hayate landed he felt the game end. He looked up to see the fox standing where he had been attacked. Emanuel had won. Hayate had never experienced the effects of losing his game before. First, the field he had sent out to begin the game surged in towards him. It all gathered around him and suddenly Hayate felt two large slashes across his chest. They were quite painful, and Hayate assumed deep. Yet he wasn't unconscious yet and certainly not dead. His vision was blurring to be sure. He then saw something blue in the right side of his vision. That would be Emanuel.

"Looks like you won Emanuel." Hayate said. Talking was difficult as he felt like his chest had been crushed.

"Looks that way." Emanuel said back.

"I guess you were right. I was going about reaching my goal the wrong way. I'm sorry I hurt your friends, especially since it didn't get me anywhere." Hayate said.

"As long as you realize that..." Emanuel said trailing off.

"Emanuel!" a voice said. Emanuel looked and saw it was Frozox. Frozox rushed up.

"You won? I figured as much. Anyway, about Jack and Koji. They're both fine. Strange thing though. The wounds appeared far worse than they actually were. There was never any threat to their life. Koji's already conscious and demanding to see Alice. Jack was hurt a bit worse it seems and hasn't woken up yet but he'll be fine soon." Frozox said.

"You don't say....." Emanuel said. He now didn't know how to feel about Hayate. It seems Hayate had no intent to ever kill his friends. And yet he had wanted to kill Hayate.

"Frozox." Emanuel said. Frozox looked at him and signaled he was listening and that he should continue.

"Get this man medical attention." Emanuel said in reference to Hayate.

"What are you talking about? I'm your enemy! You defeated me. Why would want to treat me?!" Hayate said.

"Don't complain. As of this moment you're a member of my crew. And after that hunter is defeated and you're better, we'll take you to see Nami." Emanuel said.

"What?..." Hayate said confused. It made no sense but it made him strangely happy. Hayate's sight recovered a bit and he heard Frozox saying something about the cuts across his chest being surprisingly shallow. Hayate remembered something about his power. The attack on the loser of the game was directly proportionate to how much the winner wanted the loser dead. Emanuel had no desire to kill him at the end. He then saw a paw held out.

"What's say we make it an official deal? I get you to Nami, and you stick with us?" Emanuel said.

Hayate smiled and with the last of his energy raised his hand to shake Emanuel's.

"You've got a deal. As of today you're my captain." Hayate said. With that he passed out. Frozox immediately started tending to him.

"You never stop surprising me with how easily you let people join Emanuel." Frozox said.

"I don't recall letting this one join. I made him." Emanuel responded.

"True enough. So what now?" Frozox asked.

"I need to go see if John and Alice have finished up." Emanuel said. As he moved he tried to ignore what he was fairly certain was a fractured front right leg. Hayate's gravity field had been painful to be certain. And to make things worse, Emanuel felt his condition creeping back up on him. The brief time in his human form seemed to have been a bad decision.

"Dammit. Hold out until today's over at least." Emanuel thought.

Andx!!!! You mad my character lose nooooo!!!! Anyways great chaoter once again out doing yourself. Their are many great things I love about this chapter. Firstly you showed how much potential my character had against yours which in the case that your the captain of the new dawn seems that Hayate had little chance. Second the mixture of my Sarcastic tone toward you and your intent to kill me at the beginning and the way you mixed Hayate's powers was pure awesomeness!!! Third at the end of the Chapter you showed how good Hayate is with his game being able to use his gravity power like that to crumble the tower and making the debris as a weapon as well. Fourth you made it so that unless you put yourself in danger by turning back to human you probably never would have won. And the final and my favorite one, which you probably didn't mean to do; you made it so that like Roronoa Zoro facing Mihawk he took a sword cut to his chest and although not as strong a cut as mihawks but the meaning of those cut's are so similar between Hayate and Zoro.

P.S. I love this Chapter, it was f-ing kick a$$!!!

Glad you liked it so much. It was fun to write.. type, make, whatever. About him losing, I wanted the fight to reach a conclusion, seemed better that way. Don't expect Hayate to be out of action for too long though. And you're right, I wasn't drawing any connections to Zoro and Hawk Eyes whatsoever when I made it. But that's what I like about people giving opinions on this. They see things I never would.

And I must say it was difficult coming up with a way for his gravity powers to come into play. I couldn't make it another Devil Fruit and I didn't want to the pull the "he just can" excuse. So in the end I made it an exhausting sword style that is still quite effective despite how tiring it is. And though I never showed it in this chapter, I plan that if he swings upward instead of down, the field weakens gravity in the area meaning people will start floating. Good for setting people off balance. So in the end, I'm glad you liked how I portrayed his powers/everything else.

Hey guys, well just Primal I guess, normally this is where I'd bump this thread with a chapter of my fanfic. Actually Friday would be the day I do that. Well I hate to inform you that I was unable to work on it this past week and will be unable to work on it next week as I won't be here until Saturday night/Sunday morning. So, a bit of a break from the fanfic but I'll be sure to make a lot of it after I get back. Expect at least two chapters at some point in the week after this coming one.

Oh really!!!! Well I'm kinda siked to have two chapters lol. Anyway take your time man. I wish some more members would join here!!!

If I really work on it I could get three chapters in one week. However at that point my hands would die from typing that much in a week, lol. But seriously I think I wouldn't put out the best ideas if I worked that much on it in a given week.

Something I've been considering, and thought I should bring it up. It's obvious our club RP here never really got off the ground. But I don't want to see the characters from that RP just disappear altogether. (Can you see where I'm going with this?) So I was considering incorporating some of the characters we made for that RP into my fanfic. That would include the Marines we made, as I don't have any Marine characters set anyway, and perhaps the heros you and I made. Just wondering what you think on that. Obviously the plot from the club RP wouldn't be incorporated though I could have the beginnings of it come into play at some point.

Well to be all honest ever since I started working on the plot and everything with you I had been thinking about turning it into a fan-fic. I really wouldn't mind you doing this but I think the idea as a whole was awesome and shouldn't be broke up. But in the end I really have no time to write this into a fic. That may be some thing I do in the future when I get time. So go ahead and do so, I have my own fic I'm still working on and between that, work, life, and online here, rpu I'd rather see you use the characters then me never getting around to it.

Also as a side note; since this club isn't working out as just a One Piece Club, what would you say to switching to a Straight all out Anime Club Especially since Black couldn't keep the Bleach club open either. Some good things to come from this would be;

1: More members not just people who like One Piece.

2: We could and I'm sure might get a few more Fic's up from other animes.

3: We could set up a Ranking system, where Like you would be the leader of the One Piece stuff, Black as Bleach, Myself as Naruto and so on. That doesn't mean we have to have those mentioned but an idea none the less.

4: We could hold competitions between the members who enter for one anime against another anime. Like a Bleach Vs Naruto Card making contest or something.
