Okay so I have bad news on my fanfic. I didn't get much time to work on it this week and to add to it, I'm having a bit of writer's block for the next chapter. I know what's supposed to be in it but I don't know how to go about it. So no chapter today. Perhaps tomorrow. So sorry, well mostly Primal as he's the one who reads it.

I'll be okay, it's mostly just a matter of me actually sitting down and working on it, something I haven't much been able to do as of late. Or rather, it's a weird cycle. I don't want to write because of the block and the block is because I won't just sit down and focus on it. I'll definitely have something for you in the next few days though. Hopefully get a chapter for you before or on Wednesday and then the usual Friday chapter.

*appears out of nowhere with Bloody Rose pointed at the back of Andx' head

Least Favorite Anime Character: Sasuke post-timeskip, though the series is still readable after that I just hate that he keeps on killing off people and the story is all about him and he gets so much power. I wouldn't hate him so much if he didn't make all of the other main ninjas from the original series be demoted to side character.

I caught up to so much manga in my free time this should be a cince!

 

...Even though I only read the first 40 or so chapters.

 

The D.Gray-Man manga is good so far, though it kinda paces itself a little slow.

 

 

The reason I got into this was mainly because of the Abridged Series, which is sort of a guilty pleasure for me as its just a ton of jokes with absolutely no plot!

@ -Genesis-: Rock lee's Drunken Fist style?.. in the games it's always so lulzy to just bust out Drunken fist against something like 4TK (yes i did that in the Shippuden game) and just beat the hell out of them.. (lol 4TK was trapped against the wall while i did the handstand kicks XD)

OMG Everyone! (Well mostly Primal since he probably cares the most) I finally have a new chapter for you guys. It's a tiny bit shorter than recent ones, but who cares. Enjoy.

 

[spoiler=[i]Chapter 24[/i] The Hunter Finished on Unexpected Terms. That Woman Looks Familiar.]

"So which one of you is the strongest? Hopefully not the girl. I'd prefer not to fight with her." Hayate said. John put his hands in his coat's pockets and grinned.

"The fights have already been decided." John grabbed Alice's hand and they disappeared. They then reappeared behind the leader and with his other free hand Black grabbed the leader and all three disappeared and then reappeared a good thirty feet away from Hayate. John then immediately let go of the leader and then he and Alice disappeared one more time, reappearing a safe ten feet from the leader.

 

"What the hell was that?" the leader said enraged. The idea that John had even touched him seemed to simply piss him off.

"Simple enough really. Unless you need a deeper explanation than 'Its a Devil Fruit power' in which case you'll just have to stay in the dark. Regardless, you won't be interfering in the fight over there. You'll be dealing with the two of us." John said. John wasn't too sure about this fight. He was confident in his own abilities, but he had next to no idea about what Alice could do. She had assured them she was capable of fighting. So it seemed this fight would be a little test run for her.

"Your crew is full of idiots you know that? Those two may have taken down my weaker partners, but they weren't any match for me or Hayate. And the idea of one man and a girl taking down the mighty pirate hunter, Daniel Stronghold is so ridiculous I'm barely able to stop myself from laughing." Daniel said.

 

"This guy's a big jerk, let's hurry up and finish this John." Alice said. She pulled out a silver glow looking thing and put it over her right hand. John had a puzzled look on his face. Figuring out his ally's powers would be about as much fun as figuring out his enemy's powers it seemed. Alice now had a strange glove on, and Daniel was covered in a large coat so there was no telling what either was about to do.

"Dream Gauntlet, fire!" Alice said. The glove began glowing blue. Before she told it to fire she pointed her index finger at Daniel. As she told it to fire a laser fired off the finger at Daniel. It moved fast so Daniel didn't dodge.

"How much can that honestly do-" John said. He was cut off as the laser hit Daniel in the shoulder. It knocked the man back a good five feet, almost knocking him off his feet.

"Alright! I got him!" Alice said, excited. John was certainly impressed though the one attack wasn't going to bring their opponent down. John drew his sword with his right hand and one of his pistols with his left hand.

 

"That felt like a boxer's punch or something! How did that little girl manage that! There is no way I'm actually going to have to take this fight seriously! They're too weak for that!" Daniel thought as he got himself balanced again from the attack. Before he could look back at his opponents a sword seemed to be flying at him. When he looked, it was John and he was holding the hilt; the sword was segmented and acting like a whip. Daniel held up his left hand and the sword hit it right on. A distinct metal-on-metal clan was heard as it happened. As his hand was no longer under his large cloak it was clear that it was heavily armored. It looked like a gauntlet, not too dissimilar from the one's Emanuel wielded in his human form, not that John or Alice ever saw that form much.

 

John pulled his sword back as it had bounced off the armored hand. Daniel then discarded his large coat to reveal that both arms and both legs were covered in heavy looking armor.

"So that's how you fight? I hate to tell you I've seen it before." John said.

"That doesn't mean much. Just because you've seen the idea doesn't mean I can't kill you with it!" Daniel said. He then began to charge the two pirates, both arms ready to attack it seemed. He wasn't particularly fast, probably due to how heavy the armoring of his legs were. John took Alice's left hand right as Daniel was on top of them. As Daniel slammed his fists down to the ground they stood on, they both disappeared, and reappeared behind Daniel. John then took aim at Daniel's back and fired his pistol. Daniel heard the noise and turned around quickly. He put his hand up to block and suddenly saw the bullet disappear. It then reappeared to his left, now traveling in a completely different direction, and it hit right under his left shoulder.

 

"I'm sorry, I should have clarified. I've seen the style before, but it was far superior in execution to yours." John said. Daniel didn't like it. He moved to charge again, only to feel a powerful punch to the chest. But it wasn't a punch, it was another laser from Alice.

"Not too smart to show us you're only armored on your hands and legs." Alice said. At least from how things were going right now, John was pretty sure the fight would be easy. John's powers allowed him and Alice to avoid the slow Daniel easily and both of them could deal some painful blows to him.

 

"You two think you've got me don't you? Two lucky hits and you think the fight is sealed in your favor?! Don't count me out that quickly!" Daniel said. Without warning John felt a unique sensation in his left leg. Namely the feeling of having a piece of metal pass through your body. He looked down and saw a bullet wound, but he hadn't even seen a gun on Daniel that could have fired. Now on one knee with Alice hovering over concerned, John looked to see smoke coming off of one of Daniel's legs.

"He's got guns in his grieves!" John thought. Daniel was getting ready to fire again, and it seemed he was aiming at Alice.

"Alice!" John said. He quickly grabbed her hand and warped. But not before getting his left arm grazed by another bullet.

 

The two reappeared in a nearby alley, out of Daniel's sight, but they couldn't see Daniel either. John wasn't in great shape. His left leg was pretty much unusable now. Thankfully the bullet hadn't seemed to have ricocheted too much inside the leg. It was a clean shot, with a simple exit wound. Thankfully it wasn't in line with the bone or the major artery in the leg. Still, walking on it wouldn't be very smart, let alone fighting on it. John's arm was fine as it had been simply grazed. Alice was very concerned.

"Are you okay John?!" Alice said. The worry in her voice was very obvious.

"I'm fine..." John said trying to stand up, it didn't work and he sat back down.

"No! You might be able to take more punishment, but you won't be able to fight well if you can't stand. And taking more punishment here only means you're going to get killed." Alice said.

"Then what are we supposed to do?" Jonh said.

"You stay here. I'll finish this." Alice said standing up.

"What?! You know I can't let you do that!" John said.

"I'll be fine! Just stay here and don't move too much. Frozox needs to see that leg and it'd be best if it stays as uninjured as possible." Alice said. John couldn't argue anymore. It didn't seem arguing with Alice was going to get very far. Alice began walking out of the alley.

"What kind of guy am I? Get shot in the leg and let a girl go finish the fight? This doesn't sit right with me." John thought.

 

"Where are you two?! Did the gun scare you that badly?! Come out and finish this!" Daniel said. And then he saw the girl walking towards him.

"What, all by yourself? You think you can take me alone? This should be interesting!" Daniel said. Alice fired another laser from her Dream Gauntlet without warning but Daniel actually dodge something for once.

"That's enough of that!" he said. He charged Alice and suddenly stopped right in front of her. Something had caught both of their attentions. There had been a very large noise. They looked over and saw a tower collapsing. Emanuel was on top of it and Hayate, the last hunter had his swords down.

"No way! He collapsed the whole tower?!" Alice thought. Daniel seemed impressed with Hayate's powers. Alice used his lack of focus to get away from him and got around behind.

 

"Dream Gauntlet, rapid fire!" she said. Several lasers fired off of her glove this time as opposed to just one. They hit Daniel square in the back and knocked him down the ground face first. Daniel had let out a bit of a scream. He got up again and seemed clearly enraged. Without warning he charged Alice again, and was a decent bit faster than he had been. She noticed both of his leg armors on the ground. Before she knew what had happened, Daniel had a hold of Alice's right wrist. And was hold her in the air. He then slammed her into a nearby wall, holding her there.

"You're going to regret that last move! I'm going to enjoy killing you!" He said. Alice couldn't resist how strong he was. The recent crash into the wall had her disoriented too.

 

Daniel was now holding a pistol up with his right hand. He seemed to be debating where to shoot Alice first.

"Where to start? Where to start? I don't want you to die to quickly on me now. Your hands, your feet? I hardly know. How about I just fire and see where it lands?" Daniel said. Alice was about ready to scream, knowing she couldn't defend herself anymore.

"Let's see where the bullet lands!!!" Daniel screamed. Just as he was about to pull the trigger he felt a bullet hit the back of each of his legs. He let go of Alice on the spot and turned around. He saw John, who was limping and leaning against a wall. He had a pistol in his hand so it was clear John had shot him.

"So you're not done yet are you?! Let me finish you first then!" Daniel said. He charged John who tried to stand but fell to one knee again trying to do so. Daniel grabbed him and threw him into a nearby building.

"John!" Alice called out. She wasn't able to move much herself.

 

John had struggled to his feet again despite the blows. Daniel only seemed all too happy about it.

"So you can still stand?" Daniel said.

"If it means... you leave Alice alone... then hell yes, I'm going to keep getting up." John said. Daniel then suddenly had his fist rammed into John's chest. John was thrown back into the wall and just about passed out on the spot.

"Let's see how long your body lets you do that." Daniel said laughing.

"I'm betting about five more minutes! What do you think? How much longer do you think you can stand up? I'd like to hear your bets! It's no fun if I'm the only one playing!" Daniel said. He backed up a bit from the wall allowing John to stand up again if he was going to.

 

Emanuel had begun limping over to see how John and Alice were doing after finishing his fight. His condition was acting up as he'd been in his human form briefly.

"Dammit. Hold out until today's over at least." Emanuel thought. He was quickly approaching and looked to see Alice on the ground not moving, and John being thrown into a wall.

"John! Alice!" He yelled. Daniel turned around and looked dumbfounded.

"You're telling me that dumb animal actually beat Hayate?!" Daniel said.

"Get away from them!" Emanuel called out. He moved to attack but his front right leg wouldn't let him. He tripped up and fell down, not able to get up on his bad leg.

 

Daniel was now laughing his head off like the insane person he most likely was. Seeing that no one could stand up to him anymore was a very pleasing thing to him.

"And with that, this whole crew is gonna die by my hand!" he laughed.

Daniel was so caught up in what he was certain was his victory, that he didn't notice something odd happening about him. Three small black objects were now in a triangle formation around him. They were storm clouds it looked like. Finally he saw them.

"What the heck are these things?" Daniel said. He saw some sparks coming from them. Then of all things a woman was standing in front of him. She had orange hair and a noticeable tattoo on her left arm.

 

"Hi there! Mind if I cut in here? This has gone on long enough for my tastes!" the woman said. Daniel laughed some more.

"You think you can put an end to this? That's rich woman. Who the hell are you anyway?!" he said. The woman pulled out a blue rod and started spinning the top third of it it seemed. The top part started flowing with electricity.

"I don't feel like giving a brute like you my name. Swing Charge! Thunder Lance Tenpo!" she called out. As she swung the rod at Daniel, three lighting strikes came from the clouds and intersected inside Daniel's body. Charred and electrocuted, Daniel passed out on the spot. The display was amazing. In one simple movement, she'd beaten Daniel. The same thought was running through John's, Alice's and Emanuel's mind: "Who is this woman?"

 

"Hello. My name is Nami. And this little rescue here... is gonna cost you!" the woman said with an excited look on her face.
